Online headline: "Hillary Clinton Supports Obama's Call To Congress To Approve Military Action In Syria" -- Of course she does.. she can always say later that "she was for it before she was against it".

---

You know, like most conservatives , over the years, I've done some of my best thinking on the golf course. On the other hand, do Obamarats do their best ' feeling' on golf courses, or in hotels/motels?

---

McCain needs to be committed... to an old soldiers home. He says the Syrian resistance is fighting tanks with AK47s, and since 'we' know these are the moderates, the good guys, 'we' should give them bigger weapons. McCain's an idiot. If the resistance "wins", they'll become the next despots, but with our weapons.

---

After all the years, I think we're about to find out that we've been given, intentionally, the wrong name pronunciation for Congressman Boehner...we are about to find out it's pronounced "Boner".

---

Have you seen the video of a Syrian rebel cutting out and eating the heart and liver of a Syrian government soldier? This is the faction Judas 00-bama wants us to give arms to. Eventually, our soldiers will be that factions' enemies. Think about that.

---

Them good ol' boys who killed those 700+ pound gators in Mississippi over the weekend oughta make Oprah a gator purse she was denied a chance to buy in Switzerland. Keeping that $38K here would help, too.

---

Since our regularly military and Ñational Guard units are busy and worn out, why doesn't Obama have the TSA shipped over there with all the bullets and armored assault vehicles its been buying up.

---

Dennis Rodman went back to N. Korea. The way I see it is he should gave gone earlier when Kim was looking for firing line targets.

---

If the UN has a future worth supporting, it should be lining up support for any action the US wants to carry out.

---

Why are the doors of the UN still open?

---

Judas 00-bama is sweating out going solo on initiating limited response to Syria. When Clinton did this in Somalia, he took out empty tents and an aspirin factory, and did absolutely zilch for his or the US's foreign image or in providing any relief for our soldiers.

---

We may have been bad mouthing Robert Gibbs and Jay Carney unfairly. Even they were having to make up presidential policy one question, and change it for the next.

---

I have a question that needs an answer. Hidal Nisan, the Army jihadists, got between $350-$400K in pay while I'm jail for 4 years awaiting trial. Since he was his own lawyer, he didn't have those expenses, and 'we' paid his room and board, how come 'we' aren't confiscating his assets?

---

For the fifth year in a row, Washington D.C. drivers have been ranked the worst in the nation. Oh, the poll was about vehicles, not bill management. Still, it applies to steerers of bills that Congress passes as well.

---

Those new electronic options for 'auto-braking' and 'lane assist' ... they are electronic and will fail sometime in your life. What happens when you depend so much on them that you don't pay attention..... THUD!!!!!

Online headline: "Citing Obamacare, 40,000 Longshoremen Quit the AFL-CIO" -- Now, if they would just drop membership in the Teamsters......
---
Online headline: "New hearing ordered in Montana rape case after judge’s comments spark outrage" -- Outrage? The outrage is that the judge who sentenced a teacher to 30 days for raping his 14 year old student is still sitting on the bench.
---
Online headline/story: "Would-be voters are exasperated by Kansas’ new registration law * Lee Albee never thought signing up to vote would be so cumbersome. * Earlier this year, the Overland Park man registered to vote when he renewed his license at the motor vehicle office. It was supposed to be easy. It wasn’t. * Weeks later, the Johnson County election office notified Albee he needed to prove citizenship — with a birth certificate or a passport — if he wanted to register." -- Excuse me, but how did this guy get a driver's license without proving his state's citizenship. This looks like a bogus Obamarat story to bolster DOJ's attacks on photo IDs.

You know, hearing network TV mainstream media stars (news anchors) being concerned about the minimum wage is oxymoronic. Granted, most of them would have a tough job trying to qualify for a job at a fast-food restaurant, because there's no job at those for people who look pretty, and sound nice when reading the news stories the network reporters dug up, but when you're paid millions to do just that, an hourly minimum wage just isn't fathomable. In fact, even the anchors' earning are not of their own effort; they have craft union support, and highly paid agents to negotiate for them.

This is a picture painted by Jon McNaughton:

It's particularly a favorite of mine because "Nero-bama" was one of the names I referred to Judas 00-bama several years ago before this painting was done.

Low... very low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "Americans paid trillions for Iraq and Afghan wars to keep oil coming in. So why are American oil companies exporting over 85 percent of America’s oil while our pump prices rise? " -- With the availability of fact literally in the Obama-smart-phone they clutch in the hand not reaching out for another entitlement, how does Judas 00-bama get potentially sane people to fall on swords for him?
---
From the L-E's "Today in History" feature: "Today is Wednesday, Sept. 4, the 247th day of 2013. There are 118 days left in the year. Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, begins at sunset." -- Hmmm, don't you know that the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah, and al Qaida have declared this a holiday.... NOT!

On a local note, the refurbished Comer Auditorium will be re-opened tomorrow following a $2 Million dollar repair/refurbishing project. Built in 1941, but storm damaged a couple of years ago, Comer was a memory stirrer for me. My dad took me to games there when I was a tyke. I played middle-school and church league games there, and played on two teams that won the Comer Invitational Basketball tournament, once for the Bibb Manufacturing team, and once for Coca Cola's entry. Richard Hyatt has a great column on it today even though it would take pages upon pages for him to recap all the memories, and recall all the players who participated in that heralded tournament. One he omitted was a teammate of Roger Kaiser, Dave "Duke" Denton. I played with him in one of our championship wins. I'd have picked Denton over Kaiser anytime, any day. Here's a link for any who want to read Hyatt's memory:
