Online story: "Samuel L. Jackson did not mince words when he said President Obama needs to "stop trying to 'relate'" and "be f--king presidential." * The 64-year-old recently gave a candid interview to Playboy's Stephen Rebello. The discussion opened with talk of his new flick with Spike Lee, "Oldboy," and then turned to talk of linguistic errors in society today. Jackson told an anecdote about how, when he was younger, he always made sure to address his elders properly. Nowadays, he sees people on Twitter who don't even know the difference between "your" and "you're." (To which the actor asked: "How the f--k did we become a society where mediocrity is acceptable?") " -- "stop trying to relate"...."linguistic errors"... "mediocrity is acceptable"? Well, Jackson answered his own question... When the "F-bomb" became part of public interview answers. Now, I hope the Republican Party takes this message to heart, as well, because it too needs to "stop trying to relate", and "be f----- Conservative".

---

Just FTR, Jackson raised $10 Million to elect Judas 00-bama in 2008.. and before the 2012 election, he starred in an ad telling people to "Wake the F--k Up" and vote for Obama", dubbing Mitt Romney an "out-of-touch millionaire." -- Well, there he went again... lying and having mediocre and vulgar linguistics.

The last of August, some 300 teens broke into former NFL player Brian Holloway's home in Stephentown,NY, and "broke it up".. literally. Holloway did somethinh I wouldn't have thought of, he just asked them to be responsible. He also did something he should be raised up on every responsible persons shoulders and cheered. He used his resources to track down the YouTube and Twitter postings of kids that vandalized his house and posted them on a website he had created, www.helpmesave300.com. He asked the kids to come back and clean up what they had done. 1 kid of 300+/- did that. Other kids parents have filed law suits against Holloway for posting their kids' ALREADY posted online pictures and 'tweets'. I hope there're enough police officers in the court room to arrest every parent who shows up in front of a judge and tries to carry this on further. Samuel L. Jackson needs to talk with the kids and their parents...FAST, and in this case, a few, even a LOT of "F-bombs" would be acceptable to me.

Something dear and important to me is going to happen. The death trap ramp on part of the exchange at the J.R. Allen/Bradley Park Drive intersection is going to be changed. For years now, I personally have avoided the clover-leaf entry/egress ramps on the west side. Instead of using the circular aspects, I've gone to the long ramps to go west on J.R Allen, and when getting off, use the west ramp and then take a left onto Bradley Park. I've told my family I will take/accept any ticket I get and they get if they do the same and get caught. I've told my kids how to make a safe turn in such situations. Thank goodness something is going to be done to improve everyone's safety. Of course that just leaves every other ramp set off J.R Allen to be fixed....

Though he'll catch flack forever from mainstream media and every Obamarat for reading "Green Eggs and Ham" on the Senate floor, Senator Cruz probably did more good for children than any other discussion on Reid's agenda.

Online headline/story: "San Francisco Middle School Student Tells Obama Official: ‘White People Are Taking Over' * The Mission District, around here, has changed a lot because there's a lot of white people taking over the Mission," said a 12-year old, when asked by her principal what's changed in the surrounding area. "I used to always see Latinos in the Mission * The girl’s comment underlines a long-term problem in San Francisco, which, over the past few decades, has seen the steepest drop in its black population of any U.S. city. * According to census data, the black population dove from 13.4 percent of city residents in 1970 to 6.5 percent in 2005. In 2012, it was 6.1 percent." -- Hmmm, so it's not just an anti-Pelosi/Feinstein feeling the other 49 states wish they didn't have to deal with...

---

Online story: "WASHINGTON -- The latest front in the Senate battle over gun control opened Wednesday, as Secretary of State John Kerry signed the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty in New York. * The treaty establishes standards for the global trade in conventional weapons, with the goal of preventing such weapons from being sold to those who would use them to commit genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes." -- You know, even if the Senate would pass this treaty, Judas 00-bama couldn't sign it... he'd have to come clean on the "fast & furious" gun selling scheme to Mexican drug lords.

Online headline/story: "SAT Results For 2013 Show Low Rates Of College Preparedness * Only 43 percent of test-takers in 2013 met the SAT's definition of being prepared for college, a statistic that has remained stagnant since 2009. * The 1.6 million test-takers averaged 496 in reading, 514 on math and 488 on writing (1498 total), according to a Thursday report released by the College Board, the company behind the notorious college entrance exams. * The College Board defines the college-ready benchmark as 1550 out of 2400, a score the organization says indicates a 65 percent likelihood of a student earning a first-year college GPA of a B-minus or above." -- When the actual average scores dip below the statistical average needed for 2 out of 3 college students to actually get something out of their college education, then everything we think about the public education system is probably not tough enough to get improvements. OK, Judas 00-bama, you appointed Arne Duncan, head of one of the nation's worst school systems (Chicago) as your go-to-guy for education, and for your entire presidency, schools have struggled to just not get worse than when you came in. Hey, Samual L. Jackson, ask Judas 00-bama what the F-bomb is he going to do about this?

Online story: "The Washington Post reports Bush served as an official witness at the wedding of Bonnie C........ and Helen T.........., who own a general store together in Maine. T.......... posted the following photo to Facebook showing Bush signing their marriage license:

-- Hmmm, looks to me that someone wearing Sperry's with a tie and socks (mismatched at that) can't be held responsible for his actions.

---

Online story: " Washington Navy Yard gunman Aaron Alexis left a note saying he was driven to kill by months of bombardment with extremely low-frequency radio waves, the FBI said Wednesday in a disclosure that explains the phrase he etched on his shotgun: "My ELF (Extremely Low Frequency) Weapon!" -- Hmmm, sounds like he was hearing voices from his ObamaPhone. Now we know "why".. now let's stop wasting tax dollars on "oh, what could we have done to help him".

---

California ... again - Online story: "SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Paparazzi and others who harass the children of public figures will face tougher penalties under legislation that California Gov. Jerry Brown signed Tuesday. * The (Halle Berry/Jennifer Garner) bill from state Sen. Kevin de Leon, D-Los Angeles, will boost penalties for actions that include taking photos and video of a child without parental consent and in a harassing manner." -- You know, if these "public figures" didn't make it so obvious to be "look at me, I'm important" when in public, most of this would go away by itself, but "public movie star figures" just can't live without the adoration.

---

Online headline: "FBI Inspects Nightmarish Scene Of Nairobi Mall Siege" -- Excuse me, but what jurisdiction or authority is the FBI conducting business in Kenya? If we need to investigate, send in the Rangers and Marines, and be done with it.

---

From the "they're nuts" department - A zoo in Surrey, England has banned customers from wearing clothing with animal prints. Wait til the concessionaire finds out he can't sell any t-shirts....

---

Online headline: "Pope Excommunicates Priest Who Advocated For Gay Marriage And Female Clergy" -- Hey Judas 00-bama... this is the leadership that Samuel L. Jackson wants you (me, too) find.

---

Thank goodness Brian McCann confronted the Brewers' Gomez for his unseemly demonstration during his home run trot. Unfortunately, McCann was the only Brave who even thought about taking a swing at anything last night.

---

WTVM9 story: "According to the Stars and Stripes newspaper, the Secretary of the Army has approved new regulations that will ban tattoos below the elbows and knees, along with those above the neckline. * New soldiers would have to pay to get those tattoos removed. * Current soldiers may be allowed to keep theirs." -- Hmmm, looks like the Marines and Navy will have more new recruits than the Army in the near future. See what happens when you abandon "don't ask, don't tell"?

---

McClatchy headline: "In an unexpected setback, officials at the District of Columbia’s health insurance marketplace announced Wednesday that a computer glitch won’t allow consumers to get their federal tax credits that are key to helping them buy health coverage on Oct. 1 when the marketplace officially opens for business." -- Good grief! Judas 00-bama wants to take ObamaCare on the road but can't even get his vehicle out of the garage.

---

Congressman Rangel... he's Bible Thumping, but if he knew what being a Christian was about, Congress wouldn't need an Ethics Committee.

---

There was a "smash & dash" robbery this past weekend in Detroit. A thief drove his van into a liquor store, rifled one cash register, and took another when he couldn't get it open. The owner was upset.. the video cameras caught pics of people passing by but not doing anything about it. They didn' t even need their ObamaPhones... the Police Department was just across the street.

---

Do you think Robert Gibbs thinks it's safe for him to get back to living life again? Nah... not a chance.. he's the "gold standard" we'll measure Jay Carney and followers forever.

---

Online headline: "Daniel Radcliffe shoots down big rumor" -- Pelosi and Feinstein vie to who gets the first ban on 'shooting down rumors' bill passed.

A Fox Sports reporter was fired for his Christian beliefs. Here's a petition site to support him. Pass it around:

This should be an April Fools' Day story... but it's not.... Online story: WASHINGTON The Justice Department's internal watchdog says the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives mounted dozens of undercover investigations into illicit cigarette sales without proper approval. It says the agency misused some of $162 million in profits from the stings - including overpaying an informant by millions of dollars - and lost track of at least 420 million cigarettes. * The report cited a widespread lack of ATF oversight in the agency's use of "churning investigations," undercover operations using proceeds from illicit cigarette sales to pay for ATF expenses. * In one sting, members of a Philadelphia street crew traded a bundle of marijuana for cartons of cigarettes to undercover agents posing as dealers. * The U.S. Justice Department estimates state and local governments are losing $5 billion per year from untaxed cigarettes being sold on the black market. * Weak laws are big part of the problem. Unless guns or drugs are involved, smuggling penalties are light." -- Hmmm, sounds like the sequel to the 'fast&furious' gun smuggling operation of Judas 00-bama's administration. What to name this one... "Gone in 60 seconds" or "Up in Smoke 2"?

---

Online story: "Can you imagine what would happen if any part of the federal government paid for and displayed videos promoting Christianity or Judaism? Groups like the ACLU, Freedom From Religion Foundation and Americans For The Separation Of Church And State, would all be up in arms and trampling each other at the courthouse doors filing their lawsuits. * With that in mind, would it surprise you to learn that it has happened with videos promoting Islam? * The Women’s Rights National Historic Park in Schenectady, New York is part of the National Park Service. * Taxpayer dollars were used to produce at least three videos promoting Islam and how they have supposedly promoted women’s rights. " -- You know, this is not just "A" reason to initiate "sequester" or "shutdown", this is "THE" reason some spendings need to be forever ended.

My bride taught her "Girls in Action" a real life lesson about the environ of the homeless.... cold, wet feet. These 1st to 5th graders had to soak their feet in ice water for about 10 seconds. They then dried their feet, and were given a pair of new dry socks, and got to experience the comfort of such a simple dry pair of socks when your feet are cold . This paired up with their mission charge of the week to bring in new dry socks for a local mission program. "Mission" accomplished... on all fronts

Frank Thomas.. two time American League MVP, former Auburn University and Columbus (GA) High dynamo was elected to the GA Sports Hall of Fame, got his start in the Peach Little League. Coached against him as my future brother-in-law caoched his team. Two of my nephews still have pride at striking him out (but I'm sure Frank has just as strong memories of taking both of them "downtown'. Congrats to one of the really good role models MLB has ever produced.

From the "suspicions confirmed" department - L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Facing a “precarious financial condition” as fewer customers use its services, the United States Postal Service proposed another round of rate increases Wednesday to go into effect in January — its largest price increase since 2002. " -- Told you there was another reason for the latest stamp having Ray Charles on it. Braille, so most of wouldn't know the price. I think the PO should analyze what has happened since the major increases it made in 2002. People decided it was too much so used other methods.. raising prices will just continue that trend. Cutting and controlling costs and focusing on customer needs is the answer.

---

L-E story: "The Urban League of Greater Columbus presents the 17th Annual Equal Opportunity Day Dinner, also known as the EOD Black Tie Gala," -- What hypocrisy! A Black Tie Gala for a problem that affects the entry level job market problems.

---

Very low info voter's anonymous L-E "soundoff": "Sound Off is kept anonymous so you can express your opinion without worrying about the closed-minded right-wing people of Columbus not utilizing your business just because you don’t agree with their philosophy. " -- No, anonymity protects the idiots like this one's families from public embarrassment.

---

Possibly the same very low info anonymous voter's L-E "soundoff": "The facts show that President Obama has been right in the middle of all the planning sessions with military advisers in any crisis, unlike George W. Bush who ran to the shelter in Colorado when 9/11 occurred." -- I will tell it like it is... Bush43 didn't play golf the same day atrocities were occurring.

---

L-E headline: "Schools criticized for bans on dreadlocks, Afros " -- Whether it be dreadlocks, crosses, do-rags, gang wear, Burquas, Confederate flags, yamaka or turban, you either allow them all or ban them all. I'm for the former as it promotes more honest conversation.

---

L-E's "Quotable": “If I am what I have and if I lose what I have who then am I?” - Erich Fromm American psychologist and author (1900-1980)" -- It was a sorry but sad statement then, but it reflects the latest generations idolization of material things, and the bais for the new California law stifling paparazzi taking "moments" from celebrity lives they so desperately present.

Fife Whiteside letter-to-the-editor nailed the MCSD board... and it needed nailing!
