Affordable Healthcare Act.... For whom? We had a system that banned
hospitals from denying medical services to any one... it was humane and worked.
Since everyone will be required to have insurance, then it makes sense that
hospitals will be required to deny service should someone show up without proof
of such. Perhaps, even, hospitals will probably be responsible to alert IRS if
someone shows up without an insurance card. It won't matter if said person had
cash or credit card to pay directly for services. Where is justice...where is
the protection of the 1st & 4th Amendments?

Online story: "Florida Atlantic coach Carl Pelini and defensive coordinator
Pete Retstis resigned Wednesday after FAU athletic director Patrick Chun
confronted them about reports the two had attended a social event where illegal
drugs were being used. He said both tendered their resignations after he
confronted them." -- Hmmm, now if colleges would only screen their professors
like this as well.

The World Series is over. As it should have been, the Red Sox won the series; 4 games to two unless you count game three the umpire screw up as a wash since a bad call ended the game when it should have still been tied and gone into extra innings. It will be a 4-1-1 record in my book.
---
You know, an opportunity was missed.. instead of playing the World Series just for the Championship designation and "the ring", the teams should have had a side bet to make things more interesting.. the losers shave their beards off. I'd have watched that on pay-per-view.

HuffPost headline: "Anthony Weiner Blames The Media For Campaign Problems" -- You know, if he'd been a Republican, he might have a media "conspiracy theory" to partially lessen reality.....BUT. he wasn't a Republican...his wife worked for the Clintons, and she still has a job in spite of him.

HuffPost headline: "Education Dept. Records Student Loan Profit For First Time Since 2000" -- Must be the "new math" Judas 00-bama uses to declare that the economy is booming and he's created 7,000,000 jobs.

HuffPost headline: "Joe Biden Apologizes For Obamacare Glitches, Says He And Obama Aren't 'Technology Geeks'" -- Oh, just geeks in general?... Hey, Joe, say it ain't so. The first time that was said, it followed the Black Sox scandal... Now it's the Botox Scandal...
---
You know, I wonder why Judas 00-bama hasn't executed an Executive Order to have Bleep Veep Biden's tongue injected with Botox as well... that would keep it from moving.

Online story: "Senate Democrats facing reelection next year aren't just fretting about a balky website and President Barack Obama's misleading campaign statements on health care. Now they've begun worrying about another deadline a year away. * According to an Affordable Care Act timetable established by administration officials, early next October insurance companies will announce their new menu of health care plans for the ACA marketplaces -- plans that may be more varied and numerous than those offered this year, but that almost certainly will come with higher prices. * The likely price hikes will hit the individual and small-business insurance markets only weeks before Election Day on Nov. 4, 2014. * "What genius came up with that timetable?" asked one key Democrat, who declined to be quoted by name because he is involved in private White House talks." -- Heh heh heh... guess Senator Anonymous should have read that bill before he passed it.. now he's seeing that what he actually passed was 'gas".

You know, come next September, it'll be the Obamarats clamoring for Judas 00-bama to delay the implementation for another year, and mainstream media will hammer Boehner for blocking it.

Online story: "For the first time in five years, the U.S. government has run a budget deficit below $1 trillion. * The government says the deficit for the 2013 budget year totaled $680.3 billion, down from $1.09 trillion in 2012. That's the smallest imbalance since 2008, when the government ran a $458.6 billion deficit. * The deficit is the gap between the government's tax revenue and its spending. It narrowed for the budget year that ended on Sept. 30 because revenue rose while spending fell." -- Hmmm, so Bush's worst deficit year was less than what has been Judas 00-bama's best work. and that's only because the House Republicans have been tugging on the spending reins a bit. Spin that Jay Carney!
---
Hmmm, Judas 00-bama has hired political consultant David Axelrod... again. Just 15 opposed it. On the Senate side, 16 Republicans voted for it, and five voted against." -- This should be all it takes for mainstream media to abandon Rangel and his case that he's somewhat honest. Just as he didn't read the OObamaCare Act, he hasn't bothered to read his American history (or Congressional Records, for that matter) books. The facts show that actually the same amount of House Democrats voted against it as the House Republicans, but also 5 times more Democrats did not vote at all than Republicans.

Online story: " The Federal Reserve voted 9-1 on Wednesday to continue monthly asset purchases of $85 billion a month, citing an elevated unemployment rate and saying Washingtons economic policies are still holding back growth." -- Well, if Judas 00-bama can't "spin" a better economy, he can appoint a board that will cover his 'jack-ass" with an annual influx of over a TRILLION dollars in new, unwarranteed cash into the system. Makes the $24 Billion the Republican House cut back through the "shutdown" seem sorta paltry by comparison.

Why is www.barackobama/organizingforaction.com
allowed to fund raise for Judas 00-bama? He can't run again, and the money is

Passed on by a fellow BCer: Remember when Nancy Pelosi said:

A physician called into radio show and said:
"that's the definition of a stool sample".
That pretty well sums it up.

Judas 00-bama was speaking in MA, and said the MA insurance plan was the
effort of bipartisan cooperation. Hey, there are no Republicans in MA... just
left of leftists and left of middlist.

In Judas 00-bama's Boston speech yesterday, he to the "45 million with a

maybe twice, and none are on the "No Buy" list for gun purchases?

Judas 00-bama said our young people could buy their insurance for less than
their cellphone bills... HUH? Most youngsters are still on their parents bill
for that, too.

McClatchy headline: " Mother of Trayvon Martin urges end to

Excuse me, the only people who would benefit from
anti-stand-your-ground-legislation would be bullies, drug dealers, and street
thugs. Any one who votes for legislation like this is aligning themselves with
drug dealers, street thugs, and school bullies.

If you want to see how people really feel about redistribution of wealth,

mother steps on to the witness stand and proclaims the defendant was at choir
practice right after he left seminary school earlier in the day.

Flash! My nephew is going to be in a movie opening this weekend. Not sure
at this point whether he speaks or not, or which scenes, or whether he'll

Steenburgen.. top that!

That trial about the doctor killing his wife in a bathtub.... since two pf
