Affordable Healthcare Act.... For whom? We had a system that banned hospitals from denying medical services to any one... it was humane and worked. Since everyone will be required to have insurance, then it makes sense that hospitals will be required to deny service should someone show up without proof of such. Perhaps, even, hospitals will probably be responsible to alert IRS if someone shows up without an insurance card. It won't matter if said person had cash or credit card to pay directly for services. Where is justice...where is the protection of the 1st & 4th Amendments?
---
Online story: "Florida Atlantic coach Carl Pelini and defensive coordinator Pete Retstis resigned Wednesday after FAU athletic director Patrick Chun confronted them about reports the two had attended a social event where illegal drugs were being used. He said both tendered their resignations after he confronted them." -- Hmmm, now if colleges would only screen their professors like this as well.

---
The World Series is over. As it should have been, the Red Sox won the series; 4 games to two unless you count game three the umpire screw up as a wash since a bad call ended the game when it should have still been tied and gone into extra innings. It will be a 4-1-1 record in my book.

---
You know, an opportunity was missed.. instead of playing the World Series just for the Championship designation and "the ring", the teams should have had a side bet to make things more interesting.. the losers shave their beards off. I'd have watched that on pay-per-view.

---
HuffPost headline: "Anthony Weiner Blames The Media For Campaign Problems" -- You know, if he'd been a Republican, he might have a media "conspiracy theory" to partially lessen reality.....BUT. he wasn't a Republican...his wife worked for the Clintons, and she still has a job in spite of him.

---
HuffPost headline: "Education Dept. Records Student Loan Profit For First Time Since 2000" -- Must be the "new math" Judas 00-bama uses to declare that the economy is booming and he's created 7,000,000 jobs.

---
HuffPost headline: "Joe Biden Apologizes For Obamacare Glitches, Says He And Obama Aren't 'Technology Geeks'" -- Oh, just geeks in general?... Hey, Joe, say it ain't so. The first time that was said, it followed the Black Sox scandal... Now it's the Botox Scandal...

---
You know, I wonder why Judas 00-bama hasn't executed an Executive Order to have Bleep Veep Biden's tongue injected with Botox as well... that would keep it from moving.

---
Online story: "Senate Democrats facing reelection next year aren't just fretting about a balky website and President Barack Obama's misleading campaign statements on health care. Now they've begun worrying about another deadline a year away. * According to an Affordable Care Act timetable established by administration officials, early next October insurance companies will announce their new menu of health care plans for the ACA marketplaces -- plans that may be more varied and numerous than those offered this year, but that almost certainly will come with higher prices. * The likely price hikes will hit the individual and small-business insurance markets only weeks before Election Day on Nov. 4, 2014. * "What genius came up with that timetable?" asked one key Democrat, who declined to be quoted by name because he is involved in private White House talks." -- Heh heh heh... guess Senator Anonymous should have read that bill before he passed it.. now he's seeing that what he actually passed was 'gas".

---
You know, come next September, it'll be the Obamarats clamoring for Judas 00-bama to delay the implementation for another year, and mainstream media will hammer Boehner for blocking it.

---
Online story: "For the first time in five years, the U.S. government has run a budget deficit below $1 trillion. * The government says the deficit for the 2013 budget year totaled $680.3 billion, down from $1.09 trillion in 2012. That's the smallest imbalance since 2008, when the government ran a $458.6 billion deficit. * The deficit is the gap between the government's tax revenue and its spending. It narrowed for the budget year that ended on Sept. 30 because revenue rose while spending fell." -- Hmmm, so Bush's worst deficit year was less than what has been Judas 00-bama's best work. and that's only because the House Republicans have been tugging on the spending reins a bit. Spin that Jay Carney!

---
Hmmm, Judas 00-bama has hired political consultant David Axelrod... again. Not for any re-election bid we know about (but some sorta "do not open until 2017" Executive Order could still be issued overturning the Constitution), but to spin Judas 00-bama's last three years for the public school history book collaborators.

---
Healthcare.gov is not the only government website that's under performing... Government Motors' www.chevybaseball.com couldn't handle traffic Wednesday night either while promoting another government give-away.

---
Online story: "The Academy's oath is: "We will not lie, steal or cheat nor tolerate among us anyone who does. Furthermore, I resolve to do my duty and live honorably, so help me God." * The Air Force Academy is considering dropping the phrase "so help me God" from its oath after atheist Mickey Weinstein and his Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) filed a complaint." -- I have a suggestion... put Mickey Weinstein in the cockpit of an airplane to 'air' his complaint over a radio.. then fire a missile at his plane... as he sets off the ejector seat, let's see who he pray to for it to work.

---
Online story: Charlie Rangel squeaks: "“It should give you some small comfort to know that, historically, the Republican Party always fought vigorously against these types of programs,” Rangel said. “I don't think that one Republican voted for the Social Security Act.” * Now the facts:House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) corrected the aging congressman. “In fact, the 1935 law establishing Social Security passed out of the House with the support of 81 Republicans. Just 15 opposed it. On the Senate side, 16 Republicans voted for it, and five voted against." -- This should be all it takes for mainstream media to abandon Rangel and his case that he's somewhat honest. Just as he didn't read the OObamaCare Act, he hasn't bothered to read his American history (or Congressional Records, for that matter) books. The facts show that actually the same amount of House Democrats voted against it as the House Republicans, but also 5 times more Democrats did not vote at all than Republicans.

---
Online story: " The Federal Reserve voted 9-1 on Wednesday to continue monthly asset purchases of $85 billion a month, citing an elevated unemployment rate and saying Washington’s economic policies are still holding back growth." -- Well, if Judas 00-bama can't "spin" a better economy, he can appoint a board that will cover his 'jack-ass" with an annual influx of over a TRILLION dollars in new, unwarranteed cash into the system. Makes the $24 Billion the Republican House cut back through the "shutdown" seem sorta paltry by comparison.
---
Why is www.barackobama/organizingforaction.com allowed to fund raise for Judas 00-bama? He can't run again, and the money is being raised to support his agenda. That doesn't qualify his website as a 501 (c) 4 tax deductible organization.
---
Passed on by a fellow BCer: Remember when Nancy Pelosi said:
“We have to pass it, to find out what’s
in it”
A physician called into radio show and said:
"that's the definition of a stool sample".
That pretty well sums it up.
---
Judas 00-bama was speaking in MA, and said the MA insurance plan was the effort of bipartisan cooperation. Hey, there are no Republicans in MA... just left of leftists and left of middlist.
---
In Judas 00-bama's Boston speech yesterday, he to the "45 million with a mental problems..you're covered " -- Hmmm, what ya wanna bet they all voted, maybe twice, and none are on the "No Buy" list for gun purchases?
---
Judas 00-bama said our young people could buy their insurance for less than their cellphone bills... HUH? Most youngsters are still on their parents bill for that, too.
---
Curious... since Massachusetts already has RomneyCare, is it exempt from 00bamaCare?
---
McClatchy headline: " Mother of Trayvon Martin urges end to ‘stand-your-ground’ laws," -- Sure, she doesn't want to lose another family member to someone else defending him/herself.
---
Excuse me, the only people who would benefit from anti-stand-your-ground-legislation would be bullies, drug dealers, and street thugs. Any one who votes for legislation like this is aligning themselves with drug dealers, street thugs, and school bullies.
---
If you want to see how people really feel about redistribution of wealth, ask an arena full of people , say 50,000, if they would like a winner-take-all drawing for $5,000,000.00 or... or would they like to share equally and get $100.00 each?
---
Passed along from a fellow BCer: "Seeing how school systems already teach sex & birth control , and beer making had just been added, what's next on scholl campuses... Hydroponic marijuana farming?
---
How does mainstream media allow Judas 00-bama's minions and spinmeisters to blame insurance companies for canceling policies? Insurance companies want to insure as many people as they can..
---
Another day, another death in Columbus... 18 for the year which already exceeds last year's total with 2 months to go. Guess we can assume gun thefts are up as well.
---
L-E story: "Prosecutors are not to mention a defendant's criminal record because it risks prejudicing jurors who might think someone who previously committed a crime would likely commit another." -- DOH!!!! Good grief! A jury should know who and what they are dealing with when a defendents spouse or mother steps on to the witness stand and proclaims the defendant was at choir practice right after he left seminary school earlier in the day.
---

Flash! My nephew is going to be in a movie opening this weekend. Not sure at this point whether he speaks or not, or which scenes, or whether he'll embarrass any one, but plan on seeing "Last Vegas". My nephew Phillip Elliott Kirven, Jr. is in a movie with De Niro, Douglas, Freeman, Kline, and Steenburgen.. top that!
--
That trial about the doctor killing his wife in a bathtub.... since two pf the prosecutor's witnesses are ex-mistresses of the doctor, can we pretty much assume they will be declared 'hostile witnesses' when on cross examination?
---
L-E's "Quotable “After all is said and done, more is said than done.” Aesop Greek author (620-560 B.C.)" -- Is this not the perfect quote for every politicians tombstone ... or campaign?

Wednesday, October 30, 2013

From the "you're kidding me" department - Online story: "A homework assignment at a Colorado high school may have students excited to learn about fermenting, but has some parents fuming. * One of Ralston Valley High School's biology classes is asking their students to learn how to brew beer -- and wine, champagne, vodka and other hard alcohols -- to learn the process of alcoholic fermentation, and how different processes can create different alcohols." -- Hmm, guess the students can supply their own beverages to the Jr-Sr Prom. Hope some parents get the School Board, and school teacher arrested for "contributing to the delinquency of a minor".
---
Online story: "EASTON, Pa. -- EASTON, Pa. (AP) — A Pennsylvania school district says it will take its fight against "I (heart) Boobies!" bracelets to the U.S. Supreme Court. * The Easton Area School District board voted 7-1 Tuesday night to appeal a decision rejecting its claim the bracelets are lewd and should be banned from school. * The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals also determined the district didn't prove the bracelets are disruptive when it upheld a lower court's decision in August. * The bracelets are designed to promote breast cancer awareness among young people. Two girls challenged the school's ban in 2010. * Superintendent John Reinhart tells The Express-Times of Easton the ruling compromised administrators' ability to determine what is and is not appropriate in school." -- School Boards across this nation promote birth control, allow pregnant teens to attend regular schools and classes (and provide daycare), fawn overalternate life styles, distribute condoms, teach an alternate Constitution, and most recently, allow the making of beer for minors as school work. Now this school board wants to quash a breast cancer awareness campaign? It's time to quash elected school boards.
---
Online headline: "National Intelligence Director: Spying On Leaders Not Significant Enough To Tell Congress" -- Hmmm, I guess that's on the plane of a teen not telling her parents she's just a little bit pregnant now.
---
Online headline: "Syria weapons inspectors miss deadline for visiting all declared sites" -- Guess Judas 00-bama drew a line outside those doors that the inspectors can't cross.
---
Hmmm, more 2,000,000 people have recently been dropped from their insurance. That means they'll be scrambling on the 00bamaCare website.. That's really what the Internet needs... an overflow of 50+ years olds trying to navigate web applications. What's worse is that the 00bamaCare game plan needs teens & 20's people signing up, not 50+ year olds.
---
L-E story: "Superior Court Judge John Allen fought back tears Tuesday night as more than 300 attorneys, judges, community leaders and family members ushered him into retirement after 26 years on the bench * One of those watching as Allen thanked his wife, Vicky, and finally gave in to the emotion of the moment was Dr. Robert Wright, who, like Allen, grew up in a segregated Columbus and achieved great personal and professional success. * “I cried with him,” said Wright, six years older than Allen. “We grew up in the same neighborhoods. I know how far he came. Listening to him brought tears to my eyes. We both came up with the same difficulties to get where we are today.” -- Now these are the stories, like Dr Ben Carson's, that our young people need to be hearing, not the one's Sharpton and the NAACP whine about. Students, black and white, need to know success lies within each of them, and it's hard work, not the government, that will get you here.
---
Did you realize there are 45,000 +/- lawyers in GA? I know it seems like it now, but it's a real wonder that the only ads we see on TV aren't all lawyer ads.
---
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Turner family. Why did the L-E assign such a task of reporting a family members death to a hack like Hasn't Ben Wright.
---
Online story: "CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA — Australia's highest court on Wednesday denied workers' compensation to a government employee who was injured while having sex in a motel room during a business trip. * The 4-1 decision from the High Court said the woman's employer did not induce or encourage her to participate in the sex, so the federal government's insurer, Comcare, was not liable to compensate her. A lower court had said the woman was injured in the course of her employment and should be compensated." -- "A lower court had said the woman was injured in the course of her employment and should be compensated"? Huh.. Oh yeah, I guess it's accepted in Australia, too, as well as here, that it's normal, it's part of the job, for government employees to screw over the public.
---
Online headline/story: "Ohio Islamic School: Children's Ankles & Wrists Chained - Beaten with a Long Stick for not Learning Religious Passages * This story is eerily similar to the firsthand undercover investigation I reported on here on the Al-Farooq mosque in Nashville, Tennessee. I had video footage of a 7-year-old girl talking about her husband and how they are regularly beaten during shariah class. * readers contacted Child Services, the DHS, and even the Governor's office, but no action was taken in Tennessee. Let's hope that Columbus, Ohio doesn't cave to Islamic supremacist pressure. * This horror speaks to a larger problem -- importing jihad: "when several students in a class of mostly Somalis learning English, entered a discussion." A class of mostly Somalis?" -- It's not talking about Biblical passages or some Syrian refuge camp... it's about the Quran... and right here in America.
---
Listening to the House Committee questioning Ms Tavenner about what's going on with 00bamaCare enrollments, one thing is perfectly clear. Ms Tavenner is clearly a hostile witness. Why should any government agency representative be less than candid in passing along info a committee member ks about?
---
Have you noticed that when a Congressional Committee calls for answers on a Judas 00-bama snafu/scandal, it's a woman who gets grilled and emotional. It's planned. It's planned so that mainstream media will focus on bullying rather than the problem. Perhaps the Republicans would be better served and serving if they let bother women try to pry info out of 00-bama's pawns.
---
00bamaCare prides itself on coverage for preexisting conditions. So how come existing plans in effect for people who are still with their old plans are now being kicked off because their old plans didn't cover other demands of coverage, and therefore have become null & void, and now have to pay for coverage they don't need. My bride has had "the" female operation, and I'm 66, and we have to have maternity coverage and get birth control benefits to boot.
---
L-E story: " City employees gave Columbus Councilors an earful on the subject of sharing the impact of rising health insurance costs during a sometimes raucous work session Tuesday morning and afternoon. * Councilors were debating whether to pass along to city workers a share of a $2 million shortfall in money budgeted for health insurance. About 125 city employees attended the work session, and it was clear where they stood on that question. * Esther Radcliff, a legal assistant in the City Attorney’s office, said she is tired of the government balancing its budget on the backs of city employees. She cited the city building parking garages, the City Services Center, the aquatic center and then having to maintain them." -- Wonder if it would bring her more stress that she's not only paying property taxes, but LOST taxes to supplement those ill-conceived projects?. It is nice to know that some of the employees are appreciating the concerns about City spending and waste brought before Council by other Columbus citizens.
---
Now that the natatorium has been open a while, how about the City reporting the revenues that have come in, and a head count of usage...
---
Wonder if the City employees refer to their health plan as ObamalinsonCare?
---
Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "Apologies for the shutdown are rare, but one belongs to Sen. John McCain. He said America didn't deserve it and called the incident "shameful." Thank you, Senator. " -- Hmmm, wanna bet this guy did not vote for McCain? For that matter, would never vote for McCain....
---
Why does the L-E print stories/ads referencing Memorial Stadium as "A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium". It's proper designation is "A.J. McClung - Memorial Stadium". It was given a hyphenated name to honor both a beloved public servant and our Veterans who gave their life in support of America's freedom.
---
L-E headline: "Turkey restocking is called a national success story" -- Ooops, my bad.. thought they were talking about the 2014 & 2016 election cycles, and I was going to challenge that premise... never mind.
---
L-E story: " ORLANDO, Fla. — The Columbus State men’s golf team took sixth place with an 874 at the McDonough Cup Tuesday. * Yannick Gumowski hit a 73 in the third round, giving him a total of 213 and putting him tied for sixth. Robert Mize hit a one-under 71 in round three to finish eighth individually (214 total)." -- "hit a 73"..."hit a 71"? Why does the media let people who do not know the vernacular of a sport to report on a sport? Reminds me of Les Nessman doing the sports reports on WKRP.
---
L-E story: " EA Sports’ popular PGA Tour game will no longer be named for Tiger Woods. * The company announced on its blog that it and Woods have made a “mutual decision to end our partnership” and that the company would keep working with the PGA Tour on its next golf title. * EA Sports’ popular golf game has been named for Tiger Woods since it first came out in 1998. This year’s game, titled “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14,” will be the last one to bear his name." -- Hmmm, ya think the bloom is off the rose?

From the "suspicions confirmed" department - Online story: ":For customers like Robert Hoffman, the problems with his infotainment system in his brand-new Lincoln started the moment he drove off the dealership lot. * The radio often froze -- if it turned on at all. Voice commands weren't always recognized. The system, called MyLincoln Touch, was never compatible with his iPod. * "I'm paying this car off early so I can get back into a Cadillac," said Hoffman, a Freeport, N.Y., resident. * He may not have much better luck after the switch. * Beset with glitches in their infotainment systems, Ford, Lincoln and Cadillac all were among the worst car brands in terms of automotive reliability, Consumer Reports said Monday at a luncheon hosted by the Automotive Press Association in Detroit." -- Just a few days ago, I lamented about wanting a car sans all the electronic options as those would/could be problems when eventually traded in... this just confirms my point.

---
From above story: "Cadillac ranked 25th out of 28 car brands in the auto reliability rankings" --Hey we're still on the hook for a chunk of Government Motors... say, has my prophecy come true... maybe GM should just go ahead and change it's name to "00bamaCar" or at least this division as "00bamaCad".

---
Hmmm, say two gays get married and when they sign up for 00bamaCare, do they get free maternity and birth control included?

---
Online story: "President Barack Obama plans to campaign for Virginia's Democratic gubernatorial candidate, Terry McAuliffe on Sunday. * A spokesman for McAuliffe's campaign says Obama will join McAuliffe at a rally in northern Virginia. No additional details were available." -- Michelle, and Hillary & Bill, and now 00-bama himself? Hmmm sounds like the recent poll releases aren't telling the real or complete story of how McAuliffe's lead is. Here's Cuccinelli's donation site:
https://secure.piryx.com/donate/FkzOS94c/Ken-Cuccinelli-for-Governor/comeback-starts-in-virginia-ads?utm_campaign=CopyCuccinelli_Flight1_NationalSearch-808&utm_content=StandwithKenCuccinelli-1157&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_term=cuccinelli&matchtype=e&gclid=CICu5ITdu7oCFVRk7AodWhsA2A

HuffPost headline: "Obama May Order NSA To Stop Spying On Allies" -- "Allies"? Which ones, the Muslim ones? Of course he may consider the DOJ, IRS GM, SEIU, AFL-CIO, the Teamsters, the DNC and ACORN as the allies he's stop surveillance.

---
HuffPost headline/story: "West Coast Governors Vow To Combat Climate Change With British Columbia * The governors of Pacific coastal U.S. states and a Canadian province on Monday vowed to collectively combat climate change by coordinating polices that place a price on greenhouse gas pollution and mandating the use of cleaner-burning fuels." -- You know, if I remember my Constitutional history, since when can individual states enter into a 'treaty' with a foreign country? Wonder if they'll appoint Algore as it's Ambassador?

---
Online story: "The White House says Vice President Joe Biden is heading to the Capitol to have dinner with first-term House Democrats. * House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer of Maryland organized the event and plans to join the Monday night dinner. * Hoyer's office and the White House wouldn't say which freshman Democrats are attending or the purpose of the dinner." -- "wouldn't say which freshman Obamarats were attending"? This ain't a "dinner", it's metal cage bullying match to keep the ranks in line by intimidation as to their next committee assignments and earmark rankings if they decide to do what's best for America rather than the Judas 00-bama.

---
Online story: "With website woes ongoing, the Obama administration Monday granted a six-week extension until March 31 for Americans to sign up for coverage next year and avoid new tax penalties under the president's health care overhaul law." -- And somehow, mainstream media will applaud Judas 00-bama rather than just say, "Boehner was right".

---
I tell you what, I really enjoy watching the Ohio State Buckeye Band's YouTube showing of its half time shows. If the Ohio State football team was as good,, it would be the perennial BCS champs.

---
WTVM9 story: "Officer Brandy Griffin was arrested and charged with battery after allegedly assaulting an employee at the TGI Friday's on Whittlesey Boulevard. Griffin was released from jail Thursday evening * A witness... says a woman in a white hoodie came in from the bar area and walked directly over to the employee * She walked across the dining room specifically to the girl and the girl just kind of turned and leaned a little and then they just got a little bit closer and then the lady with the white hoodie on just swung at her and it just escalated from that point, * She heard the victim tell the manager that she knew the officer – that she had come there to beat her up, and that it was all over another woman." -- "over another woman"? Huh? Please, "say it ain't so, Jo...

---
Online headline: "Detroit bankruptcy trial veers off course as Gov. Rick Snyder takes stand * opposing lawyers sought to pin him down on what he might do about pensions." -- You know, if I was an employee who had participated in amassing Detroit's $18 BILLION dollar debt accumulation, I wonder if I'd want my name associated with a pension suit.

---
Secretary Sebelius doesn't understand humor. There's humor that elevates you, and then there's humor that makes you the butt of Saturday Night Live, and when it makes it to SNL, that means the youth of America, which normally has no clue on what's going on in politics, is laughing at you, not with you.
---
Online headline/story: "SEBELIUS BLAMES REPUBLICANS FOR OBAMACARE SITE TESTING WOES * In an ideal world there would have been a lot more testing. We did not have the luxury of that with a law that said it’s go time on October 1st and frankly a political atmosphere where the majority party at least in the House was determined to stop this any way they possibly could including shutting down the United States government. So it was not an ideal atmosphere." -- Is there absolutely anything in this world that Sebelius actually grasps?

---
The last election was decided by low info voters. Voters who cast there vote based on what they felt was in their best interest, versus what was best for America's future. It's really sad, for the day that America collapses, there won't be anything for the low info voter to receive.

---
Jay Carney, answering for the Judas 00-bama legacy, said the website 'hasn't operated adequately'. "Hasn't operated adequately"? Hey, from what I've seen, 'adequately' is not the definition of 'failure to launch'.

---
Looks like 00bamaCare (Double 0 bamaCare.. death panels are licensed to kill) will be diagnosed as "ED"... "Electability Dysfunction".

---
Online story: "Dr. Michael Minor, pastor of Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church became an Obamacare navigator this year, attempting to get people to enroll in the Obama health insurance exchanges. * Minor explained how he won a major grant – some $317,742 -- from the federal government, despite the fact that his church is small. “I applied for it.” -- Hmmm, this is the best argument I've ever heard for a true separation of church and state.
---
There are 22 really good candidates to be interviewed as appointees to our Superior Court system. One will replace the retiring Judge Allen, and one will be the initial judge in an additional judgeship/court. I hope each of the appointees will know they were picked because they were the best qualified at this particular time, and not think about the taint Allen suggested.
---
Ultra low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " Health insurance prices have risen for 30 years; 39 percent in early 2009 alone. Only since the Affordable Care Act have prices leveled off. Republicans know Obamacare will work." -- "prices have leveled off"? Well, this guy has gone from no paid insurance at all indigent care, to no payment involved MedicAid. To him, it has stayed level.
---
L-E's " Thought for Today": “It may be necessary temporarily to accept a lesser evil, but one must never label a necessary evil as good.” — Margaret Mead, American anthropologist (1901-1978). -- This ought to mess with the minds of Obamarats, RINOs, and mainstream media. You know, once you get involved in negotiating your values, any concession lowers the bar forever. Like dumbing down the learning process in schools, this is the goal of Obamarats.
---
L-E headline: "Europe mulls sanctions against U.S. over spying" -- Hmmm, I'll believe when I see European countries refuse our foreign policy checks and repay the past ones.
---
L-E editorial: " More distressing news on the education/ economic front: More than 11,000 students in Georgia’s technical colleges lost their HOPE grants last year when the standards were raised to keep the program solvent. * Worse, more than half of those have not come back, even though modestly improved revenues allowed the state to go back to the old GPA minimum for this year. The Athens Banner-Herald reported Monday that of 11,471 tech college students who lost the grants last year, almost 6,000 did not graduate or are not enrolled" -- What this really shows is that the HOPE Scholarship criteria did more for keeping too many teachers on the payroll rather than educating students! Whether it be a university or trade school setting, students should be there committed to their individual causes rather than being there just because someone else was paying for it, and it beat looking for a job.
---
L-E story: " Andrew Young — a diplomat, Atlanta mayor, civil rights leader, pastor and congressman — was blunt in his assessment of the state of the union Monday night at the Jefferson-Jackson Gala in Columbus.
* “People are worried about China; people are worried about India; people are worried about Africa; people are worried about their neighborhoods; and people are worried about their jobs,” Young told the 350 local Democrats at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center. “This is the greatest period of anxiety I have seen in my 81 years. * “I asked to come here tonight,” Young said. “I want to be part of the resurrection of the Democratic party in the state of Georgia.” -- "part of the resurrection"? And Secretary Sebelius, Judas 00-bama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Pric Holder thought they were the only ones being laughed at, and highlitghted on Saturday Night Live.....
---
L-E's Business Page headlines: " Signed contracts to buy U.S. homes plunge in Sept." * " Merck 3Q net income falls on charges, lower sale" * "FACTORY OUTPUT RISES JUST 0.1 PCT. IN SEPT." * "Apple’s earnings fall despite rising iPhone sales" -- Spin these, Judas 00-bama!
---
L-E story: " The way we walk is not just the way we walk. * The strolling pace of men and women may give away some clues about our romantic partnerships and friendships, according to a study published Wednesday in the online journal PLOS One. * Men slow their pace for female romantic partners, more so than for women they don’t know. And when they walk with other men, dudes are practically racing, according to the study. * Women, on the other hand, hardly varied their pace for their beau or guy friend, but when walking with each other, they slowed down appreciably." -- "women...when walking with each other, they slowed down appreciably"? Wanna start a pool on when N.O.W. will go ballistic, and Hillary will claim gender-bias, and Michelle will start wearing lacy sleeved garments? Sorry girls, it was a study headed by a woman at the University of Washington... so if anything.. it was probably biased towards women's views.

Alert to a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase an original Tim Chitwood "sculpture". Local newspaper columnist ( for lack of another category to reference him), Tim Chitwood created a bird house sculpture for a charity fund raiser. It is now available for purchase at booth A21 at the Front Porch of the South between now and Halloween Eve as its theme is most appropriate. The first $100.00 can buy it, or if you want it, but not that much, you can make/negotiate a lower price offer. One such offer has been tendered by another newspaper columnist and will be in the game on Wednesday. Step up and get this original creation for your front porch Halloween decoration.

---
Online headline: "Paris Hilton Dresses Up As Miley Cyrus For Halloween Party At The Playboy Mansion" -- Wow.. the ultimate wake up call Horror Montana.. the slut queen has abdicated her title.

The excessive bearding in the World Series makes you wonder what these guys do in their off time. None are making minimum wage so if they want facial hair, why don't they spend a few bucks on proper, even some, grooming. These guys look like they scavenge dumpsters for aluminum cans to make ends meet.

Columbus just got a dig park.. It's free, but there's one catch... It's open from 8:00-5:00 Mon-Fri and closed on weekends. That really helps people who have jobs that pay taxes to keep the park open only for those either non-employed or retired.

That "horse collar" penalty in football...it's another 'bad for football' penalty, but if you grab hold of extended dreadlocks, is that worse?

Really...how does a city, Detroit specifically , get $18 Billion dollars indebt? For a town like Detroit, that's over $25,000.00 per man, woman and child in the City. If Columbus had that much debt per person, the total debt would "only" be $5,000,000,000.00, 1/7th of Detroit's debt, and Columbus would be drowning in debt.

---
That still didn't answer my own question, so ..the only way for Detroit to get in that sorta debt... Bankers not holding the guarantors responsible for showing assets, capability, and willingness to pay back their loans. Sorta like the Fanny Mae/Freddie Mac policy that destroyed the housing market combined with Detroit politicians, all Obamarats, defaulting on the "full faith and credit...( well over extended credit)" of the citizens of Detroit.

Online headline: "Obama plots budget plans with congressional Dems" -- "plots"? "plots with Obamarats"? Yes, Judas 00-bama, "Mr Transparency", "plots". You know, counting Judas 00-bama, there are 536 elected official representing the American people... 256 are Obamarat supporting... that means that 280 such officials have been elected by Americans who prefer a different approach, a different direction, and different results offered by Judas 00-bama. In other words.. Judas 00-bama does not speak for the majority of Americans, and doesn't want to listen to the majority.

---Online story: "PITTSBURGH (AP) — A high school student who dressed as a homeless man for a drama assignment was so convincing that he fooled school officials — and ended up getting suspended.
It began with an assignment last month, senior Michael Bodomov, 17, said: Create a character and be that person for an entire day at Mount Lebanon High School, just outside Pittsburgh. * Bodomov said he created a homeless man named John who had a falling-out with his family after he ran over his younger sister. John was also swayed by a guru to give up all his material possessions. * "I wore like a couple layers of coats and some sweatpants," Bodomov said. He added a pair of fingerless gloves, mismatched shoes and plastic bags for socks. He also smeared ink on his face to make it look dirty *
He also tried showing them the garbage bag he was carrying, since it contained his school backpack. But his attention to character detail thwarted that, too. The bag was also filled with empty plastic bottles, and that's apparently all the officials saw. * "I had to kind of think on my feet," Bodomov said, since he didn't want to break character before the school day even began. * "It's not like this entire time I wasn't trying to let them know I was a student," Bodomov said. "It was pretty funny to me." * Then the police showed up.
* After staying in character for a little longer, Bodomov explained the whole situation. The police left, and an administrator said he was suspended for insubordination and for breaking a rule that students must identify themselves to an administrator when asked." -- Hmmm, yes, there was a 'revealing'... actually there were three. The student revealed his identity and his assignment, and the school revealed it's liberal hypocrisy.

Online story - (verbatim): "60 Minutes took on Benghazi tonight in a wrenching report by correspondent Lara Logan. She reported that a Gitmo releasee was a major figure in the attack: * We’ve learned that this man, Sufian bin Qumu, a former Guantanamo Bay detainee and long-time al-Qaeda operative, was one of the lead planners along with Faraj al-Chalabi, whose ties to Osama bin Laden go back more than 15 years. He’s believed to have carried documents from the compound to the head of al Qaeda in Pakistan. * Fox News had previously reported that U.S. intelligence sources suspected Qumu had a central role in the attack, but the report had been denied by an Obama-administration national-security official
In an emotional exchange with former Libya deputy chief of mission Gregory Hicks, Logan sympathized with his dismay that no help was on the way during the attack:" *We have learned there were two Delta Force operators who fought at the Annex and they’ve since been awarded the Distinguished Service Cross and the Navy Cross — two of the military’s highest honors. The Americans who rushed to help that night went without asking for permission and the lingering question is why no larger military response ever crossed the border into Libya — something Greg Hicks realized wasn’t going to happen just an hour into the attack.
Lara Logan: You have this conversation with the defense attache. You ask him what military assets are on their way. And he says–
Greg Hicks: Effectively, they’re not. And I — for a moment, I just felt lost. I just couldn’t believe the answer. And then I made the call to the Annex chief, and I told him, “Listen, you’ve gotta tell those guys there may not be any help coming.”
Lara Logan: That’s a tough thing to understand. Why?
Greg Hicks: It just is. We — for us, for the people that go out onto the edge, to represent our country, we believe that if we get in trouble, they’re coming to get us. That our back is covered. To hear that it’s not, it’s a terrible, terrible experience. -- Wow! It's good to know that CBS listens to Fox... It's also good to know, that CBS isn't giving Hillary a pass on Benghazi... or whether she should answer calls at 3:00 AM.

Online headline: "Sebelius to face House committee amid Healthcare.gov troubles" -- I guess facing the House committee was her choice of options, since the other was 'to face the truth".

Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " Republicans cost taxpayers $24 billion with their government shutdown. That’s three and a half aircraft carriers or $100 for every man, woman and child in America." -- What century is this lib living in? First, $24 Billion doesn't even pay the interest for 2 months on the $7 TRILLION Judas 00-bama has added to the National Debt.. secondly, aircraft carriers now run $13+ Billion , and thirdly, he's underestimated the American populace by 60,000,000 people. Hmm, what century may not be the question.. perhaps this is what he has learned at public school.

Wow, a local lawyer (and lifelong acquaintance of mine), Cecil Cheeves, just competed in and completed the Hawaii Ironman Triathalon. That's a competition (calling it a "race" is bizarre) that entails a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bicycle ride, followed by a 26.2 mile leisurely run... and he did it in 14 hours and 10 minutes. You have to wonder how much that is in billable dollars. Congrats, Cecil and Bettye!

Online story: "We're used to seeing celebrities cross the line of appropriateness on Halloween but it's usually nothing more than an overly skimpy costume. In Julianne Hough's case, good sense was thrown out the window when she decided to go as "Orange Is the New Black" character Crazy Eyes. * Hough, 25, donned blackface for her costume yesterday, which she completed with an orange jumpsuit and Crazy Eyes' signature bantu knots. * (Hough tweeted), I am a huge fan of the show Orange is the New black, actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created. It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way. I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize." -- Good grief! Hollywood doesn't apologize for gratuitous nudity, sex, graphic violence nor effusive f-bombs, but she apologized for this out of political correctness?

Keeping up with "the Jones" used to be tough enough for suburbanites, but that was penny ante compared to teens trying to "keep up with the Kardashians".

Online story: " Jay-Z — under increasing pressure to back out of a collaboration with the luxury store Barneys New York after it was accused of racially profiling two black customers — said Saturday he's being unfairly "demonized" for just waiting to hear all of the facts. * He has come under fire for remaining silent as news surfaced this week that two young black people said they were profiled by Barneys after they purchased expensive items from their Manhattan store." -- Jay-Z ... welcome to the world of Dr Benjamin Carter... How quickly the Al Sharptons smell an opportunity to make chaos and money on a situation that hasn't been fully investigated. Barney's has already stated none of its employees were involved, but Sharpton has wrapped himself up in another Tawana Brawley blackmail scam.

Baseball needs an automatic review of a batter hit on one if those elbow guards. First, the guard itself extends "the uniform" out from the player's body by a measurable amount, but more importantly, a player wearing one is emboldened to leave it exposed on an inside pitch. Betran for the Cardinals did that last night in the 7th, got grazed by a pitch and awarded 1st base. Beltran made no effort to avoid being hit, which he must do according to the rules, but if he wasn't wearing the elbow guard, the ball would not have hit him. Beltran scored from first on a double by the next batter.
---
While giving the Card batter 1st base by a hit-by-pitch call earlier when it was obvious the batter did not try to avoid being hit was a bad call, but the one where the 3rd base ump called 'interference' was horrible! The Cards runner had already attained 3rd base, and when he reacted to the overthrown ball, he moved out of the base path to home and tripped over the Boston 3rd baseman who was lying in the 2nd-to-3rd base path which the Card runner no longer was "protected" from interference relief.

I'm confused... does 00-bamaCare want students yo stay on their parents insurance, or sign up for Medicaid?

I remember when Gillette was the big advertiser for most sports, but baseball especially. Watching the World Series, I can see why Gillette doesn't do this much anymore.. looks like most players do not shave anymore.
---
I'm serious... I do not want a car with all these built in electronic 'goodies'. Auto brakes, auto lane guards, auto cruise control, auto tire sensors, even auto door locks when I pull away from the curb. They sound "great" but we know they are going to be maintenance headaches when it' trade in time.

Online headline/story: "Michelle Obama’s Princeton classmate is executive at company that built Obamacare website * Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton class of ’85, is senior vice president at CGI Federal, which earned the no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare enrollment website at Healthcare.gov. CGI Federal is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company. * Townes-Whitley and her Princeton classmate Michelle Obama are both members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni." -- Hey... $678 Million wasted here, $678 Million wasted there, and pretty soon we're gonna be talking real money.
---
Hmmm, another McDonald's hot coffee lawsuit... When will people start being held responsible for their own choices and actions again? Tort reform won't do it by itself.. the court and jury systems need to be reviewed for creating this destructive course of frivolous lawsuits. Hold filing lawyers responsible for costs to defendants when cases are lost or thrown out is a good starting place.
---
Now we hear of the Insurance Co-ops fueled by 00-bamaCare loans are going belly- up ala green energy companies with 00-bama loans like Solyndra. Just another scandal for Judas 00-bama's legacy.

Online story: "If I were to give her the benefit of the doubt, I'd say that Kathleen Sebelius honestly doesn't know who she works for. Perhaps she incorrectly believes her superior is the President of the United States.* Possibly, she's convinced herself that she works for "the government." It's even conceivable that she's operating under as though she works for the Department of Health and Human Services. * Unfortunately, she clearly doesn't feel that she works for the American taxpayer. * The reporter quickly fired back, "What is your response to people who are calling for you to resign?" * “Well. The majority of people calling for me to resign, I would say, are people who I don’t work for and who do not want this program to work in the first place." -- This is the prevalent attitude of all of Judas 00-bama's Czars. He will be a sad era in American history. To think, he had so much opportunity to move this country forward in so many ways, and has chosen his own path instead.

L-E story: " If the Columbus Consolidated Government does not implement significant administrative changes, it will be forced to make spending cuts that would require layoffs or dipping deeply into its reserves, imperiling its bond rating and likely costing taxpayers more to finance future bond issues, Mayor Teresa Tomlinson told Columbus Councilors in a memo last week." -- Hmmm, so building/buying physical facilities that do not produce revenue to cover operating expenses is "OK" (natatorium, Woodcrest Apartments, Liberty Apartments, dog park to name a few), but employee security is not?
---
The L-E has just rolled over and succumbed to being a watchdog and source of news and open discussion. Political correctness use to be it's main problem, but now the L-E just assumes the state is responsible for child safety and can/should do it. It's the parents that need to be held accountable, but political correctness prevents the necessary actions from being taken, but then again, who wants the state to take the action the state wants to take. How many horror stories have we heard of a state's black-booted storm troopers breaking in on a family and removing a child because some unproven claim was made by a non-expert? How many families have been taken over by a mandatory drug order for the kids to stay in school? Hey, we do not want a police state type government.. I say "we', but unfortunately liberals exist... so does the L-E.

HuffPost headline: "The Hunt For The Most Racist Republican Is Over" -- As opposed to the "hunt for the most racist Democrat is over"? Of course, picking out a Republican would be a lot easier than narrowing down a Democrat... there are far more of them to start with. Just on a 'feeling', the late Senator and KKK member Robert Byrd of WV comes to mind as a contender as does Charlie Rangel and Judas 00-bama.

---
Online headline: "Poll: Americans Disapprove Of Obama's Handling Of Health Care" -- It takes a "poll" for mainstream media to figure this out? Even the Obamarats knew this because they didn't want to read it before they passed it. Sorry, ignorance of the law does not excuse you from consequences.

---
Why do liberals blame the NRA for gun issues? The NRA is dedicated to the Constitution's defense of gun ownership, and supports the proper education and training of gun users. On the other hand, how many street thugs, how many gang members, and for that matter, how many gun wielding psychos are members of the NRA?

---
Online headline: "Floridians should be 'ashamed' of Rep. Alan Grayson" -- No, Floridian Obamarats who voted for and re-elected Grayson should not only be ashamed, they should apologize profusely.

Online headline: "McDonald's Drops Heinz Ketchup" -- Wow! There's a bit of "burger wars" politics involved, but I'm better than OK with this simply because I stopped using Heinz when Senator Heinz's widow married John Kerry.

Online story: "Former Vice President Dick Cheney appeared on conservative Hugh Hewitt’s radio programand chastised Clinton for what he perceived as an evasion of responsibility over the tragedy that claimed the lives of four people, including U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens * She clearly wasn’t hands on, and now she doesn’t want to be hands on. And she’s doing everything she can to avoid responsibility for what clearly fell into her bailiwick,” Cheney said. “And what I always recall is her testimony saying, ‘What difference does it make?’ And the fact of the matter is it makes a huge difference" -- Dick Cheney is probably the best VP this country has ever had, but I wish he'd refrain from commentary that mainstream media can associate with him. Cheney did not defend himself against mainstream media onslaughts when serving, so the mainstream media pretty much has tainted his legacy until historians look back in 30-50 years.

Online story: "Pastor Mark Baker, of Harvest Baptist Church in Ovid, Colorado, just lost his wife Linda due to cancer. * One of Linda’s last requests was that her tombstone would be inscribed with a Christian Ichthus fish with name of Jesus in the center. Pastor Baker relayed Linda’s request to Shawn Rewoldt, the director of the city cemetery in Sterling, Colorado. * To the pastor’s surprise, Rewoldt told him that the Ichthus fish would be okay, but that he would not approve of the inscription of Jesus’ name on the tombstone. * When Pastor Baker and his family asked why, Rewoldt first told them that it wouldn’t fit, but the family didn’t buy that excuse and pressed him for the real reason. * Eventually, Rewoldt admitted that he wouldn’t approve of having ‘Jesus’ inscribed on the tombstone was that he believed it might offend others." -- "Jesus... might offend others"? Well, until her "neighbors" stand up and picket her tombstone, this Cemetery director should not be allowed to smoke anything.... else.

The NSA is basically a self-fulfilling prophecy of international isolation. Look at Germany; Germany is mad as hell and does not want to take it anymore. That means Germany automatically becomes a country the NSA will spy on.

You know, I think the NSA should release all the phone calls, texts, and e-mail Judas 00-bama has made. Fair is fair. Start with his high school and college transcripts, and passport and scholarship applications.

Online story: "A change to the Marine Corps' uniform hats could leave hard-nosed Leathernecks looking a lot less macho. * According to the New York Post, President Obama's plan to create a "unisex" look for the Corps has officials on the verge of swapping out the Marines' iconic caps with a new hat that some have derided as so "girly" that they would make the French blush." -- "Unisex"? The Judas 00-bama wants to make the Marines "unisexual"? We know the men are already PO'd, but this should give the women in the service a major attack of PMS after their long battle for equality as women.
---
Online story: ""Furious over a government plan to impose a tax on them, French soccer teams have unanimously agreed to scrap matches over one weekend at the end of November as a protest. * France’s professional clubs held an extraordinary general meeting Thursday to decide the next steps in their campaign against the government’s plan to implement a temporary 75 percent marginal tax on employers for paying salaries above a million euros a year. * The tax was a campaign promise from Hollande, who pledged to rein in what he said was excessive executive pay out of line with the struggling economy." -- Oh, so now the French think boys that sweat and labor on the field are "executive types"... Of course, Hollande's political promise seemed popular at the time, but did anyone who voted for him actually think he'd keep an political promise?
---
Online story: "DNA tests have confirmed that a 35-year-old Bulgarian Roma woman is the mother of a mysterious girl in Greece known as Maria, authorities said Friday. * Genetic profile of Sasha Ruseva matched that of the girl, said Svetlozar Lazarov, an Interior Ministry official. * Ruseva has said she gave birth to a baby girl four years ago in Greece while working as an olive picker, and gave the child away because she was too poor to care for her. * Costas Yannopoulos, director of the Greek children's charity "Smile of the Child" which has been looking after the girl said he had no comment on her fate. -- Hmmm, so the mom gave away her baby to the gypsies because she thought the gypsies would be better parents.. Hmmm., sorta reminds me of the big to-do with releasing an otter following the Exxon Valdeez spill. With cameras rolling the otter was cheered off into the bay, and as cameras followed, an Orca flew in and gobbled the otter up.

Online story: "Next month food stamp benefits will automatically shrink for all 47 million Americans enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. that a federal law called the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, commonly known as the "stimulus package," had given food stamp recipients a temporary boost in 2009 * The Recovery Act's food stamp boost was not supposed to disappear so abruptly. The plan had been to leave the increase in place until inflation caught up through annual adjustments to SNAP benefit levels, which had been expected to happen in 2015. But congressional Democrats essentially raided the cookie jar, using the future planned spending to offset the cost of priority legislation in 2010. They said at the time that they would put the money back before any decrease could take effect, but they have not kept their promise." -- Hmmm, Rule 1 - Obamarat voters will believe all campaign promises, and Rule 2
- All Obamarat voter's will forget last elections campaign promises not kept, but believe the new campaign promises. Isn't this the same as Algore's explanation about Social Security deductions being kept in a "lock box"?

Online headline/story: "Harry Reid Told Caucus That Pete Sessions Was Behind Obama Insult, Senators Say * Reid also told the caucus that he was “sorry” to have to tell them about it, per this senator, but gave Obama credit for his “dignified” response to Sessions. * Reid reportedly told the caucus that Obama responded to Sessions by saying he understood that they disagreed on many issues and he respected their differences. * A White House official said Thursday that the administration did relay such a message to Reid, but that it was the result of a miscommunication. * “While the quote attributed to a Republican lawmaker in the House GOP meeting with the President is not accurate, there was a miscommunication when the White House read out that meeting to Senate Democrats, and we regret the misunderstanding," the official said in a statement." -- Me thinks "not reading before passing" is an Obamarat phenomena. Pelosi didn't read 00-bamaCare before calling it to a vote in the House, and now Reid doesn't read the White House memo before "passing" it along in the Senate.
---
Online story: "WASHINGTON, D.C. – Federal lawmakers want to prevent schools from employing convicted sex offenders, kidnappers, murderers, pornographers, spouse beaters and rapists. * It’s such an obviously good idea that Republicans and Democrats in the U.S. House agree on it, and passed legislation by a simple voice vote to make it the law. * But there’s one group who thinks this is a bad idea: leaders of our nation’s teachers unions. * “The bill has run into objections from major teachers’ unions like the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers. In letters to lawmakers, their criticisms included concerns that the measure might jeopardize workers’ protections under union contracts,” the Associated Press reports." -- My first reaction the this was, "JESUS!" No wonder they want to keep God and Jesus out of our schools! Any teacher who doesn't resign from the NEA and/or AFT should be fired, and any School Board who negotiates with either should be run out of town.
---
Online story: "President Barack Obama--who oversees both the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security--said in a speech at the White House on Thursday that it does not make sense to have 11 million people in the United States “illegally." * “It doesn’t make sense to have 11 million people who are in this country illegally without any incentive or any way for them to come out of the shadows, get right with the law, meet their responsibilities and permit their families then to move ahead,” he said. “It’s not smart. It’s not fair. It doesn’t make sense.” -- What doesn't make sense is how Judas 00-bama was elected, much less re-elected. What doesn't make sense is an Attorney General and Department of Justice nor enforcing the laws that deem illegal aliens "illegal". Illegal, before anything else, is still illegal.

Even stupider than most low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "I would rather hear how a homeless man got saved than attend a $100-a-plate dinner and hear a surgeon slobber about his political views." -- First, $100.00 wouldn't have gotten him the house salad, but attacking an accomplished neuro-surgeon who earned his own way in life because he speaks out truthfully just reveals the hatred, the racism, and the ignorance of this person life. Please revoke his voter's registration on mental health grounds.
---
Another low-info voter's L-E "soundoff: " Ted Cruz proves that a fancy education may make you smart but it won’t make you wise." -- Speaking of "fancy education", Judas 00-bama's was about as fancy as you can get on paper (of course, he won't show those papers), so what does this have to do with Ted Cruz?
---
Another, (and I'm only cherry picking a few today) low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " I’m retired on S.S. and can’t think of one reason to vote Republican when the Democrats are protecting my income." -- This guy must have (and still does) believed Algore's promise to keep "social security" funds in a lockbox... The Democrats actually have spent your contributions years ago, and now are are sending you what they think your children will contribute. Madoff"s Ponzi scheme was picayune in comparison to the Democrats' social security ponzi scheme.

L-E's "Thought for Today,":"You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end each of us must work for his own improvement, and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity.” — Marie Curie, Polish-French scientist (1867-1934)" -- Talk about a bit a wisdom schools no longer teach our children.....
---
L-E's "Online comment of the day": “The South is freedom...free to trash the environment. Southerners live in a pig’s world. Bubba tosses his six-pack cans out the window and his McDonald’s bags too. Later a cigarette is tossed and fires rage.” — From “Wallace Torbert,” in response to “Grass fires, smoke divert traffic on section of I-185” -- This really not a comment that needs to be addressed because it is about personal ignorance and self-hatred. The value of addressing it though is that "Wallace Torbet" is an obvious malcontent, but prefers the South to his previous location that he left due to his malcontent. Chances are, his previous environment was thankful when he left it I'm sure the South will be, also.

L-E story: " A man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly stealing $2,000 worth of goods outside St. Francis Hospital , according to a Columbus police report. * Ernest Roberson, 58, was arrested in the hospital parking lot around 5:15 p.m. after allegedly stealing goods from the dumpster. * Roberson was charged with felony theft by taking and taken to the Muscogee County Jail." -- "stealing goods from the dumpster"? Whoa! That means our police will have to arrest every homeless person or scrap metal collector that rummages through any trash deposit in Columbus! Hey, Mayor Obamalinson.. I think you've discovered a way to get Columbus free of the homeless in your 10 year time frame!

HuffPost something: "Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told his Democratic caucus last week in a private meeting that a top House Republican said to President Barack Obama, "I cannot even stand to look at you," according to two Democratic senators who were present. * The account was confirmed by two Senate Democratic aides who said they independently learned of the exchange from other senators. * A White House official said Thursday that the administration did relay such a message to Reid, but that it was the result of a miscommunication. * While the quote attributed to a Republican lawmaker in the House GOP meeting with the President is not accurate, there was a miscommunication when the White House read out that meeting to Senate Democrats, and we regret the misunderstanding," the official said in a statement" -- A White House "official"? Hey, this lie could only have originated from Judas 00-bama's mouth. No WH "official" is anything but a 'parrot' for Judas 00-bama.

HuffPost subsequent headline: "Harry Reid Told Caucus That Pete Sessions Was Behind Obama Insult, Senators Say --Monkey see, monkey do. Give Reid full credit for adding a name to the lie.

Why is Judas 00-bama and his Obamarat spinmeisters trying to blame user overload as to why the 00-bamaCare website has collapsed? Which genius did not plan for user overload since hundreds of millions would have to access it?
---
Obamarat proponents still think the reason so many couldn't afford medical care/insurance was because they "couldn't afford it" then but now can. Excuse me... but with fewer people working, and more of those part time than ever before, what makes the 00-bamarats think, uh..feel, that people will buy insurance rather than food for their families?
---
In retrospect, Judas 00-bama naming Jack Lew as the Secretary of the Treasury was accidentally a stroke of genius. My thinking is 00-bama thought his name was Jack Loo, and wanted a scapegoat to flush.

McClatchy story: "President Barack Obama is expected to nominate Theodore Mitchell, a former California educator and the leader of a nonprofit philanthropic organization that funds education, as undersecretary at the U.S. Department of Education." -- Good grief...Now our kids will be under the influence of Arne Duncan and the "Chicago experiment" on "California halucinations".
---
Now that mainstream media has 'moved on' from whether Judas 00-bama will cross the line he drew in Syrian sand, do you wonder whether ASSwad lies awake at night waiting for Judas 00-bama to break this promise as he has every other one he's ever made in campaign mode?

Online story: "Sixty-three high-powered semi-automatic guns disappeared from a truck two weekends ago, according to an internal law enforcement memo obtained exclusively by CBS News. Four men were arrested in connection to the case, CBS affiliate KSLA Shreveport reported Tuesday. * A shipment of AR-15 Colt Law Enforcement Carbines left Hartford, Conn., home of Colt Manufacturing, on a truck headed south, but some of the guns on board the truck were missing when the truck was inspected in its final destination of Shreveport, La. The missing guns have yet to be recovered>" -- Has anyone seen Pric Holder out promoting "fast&furious 2.0"?

Online story: "If there was any doubt that the US housing "recovery" is anything but the latest speculative play by deep-pocketed (namely those who already have access to cheap funding) investors, who are now engaged in rotating cash gains out of capital markets and into real estate, on their way hoping to flip newly-acquired properties to other wealthy investors, then the most recent, September, RealtyTrac report will put that to rest. * Institutional investors (purchasing 10 or more properties in the last 12 months) accounted for 14 percent of all sales in September, up from 9 percent in August and also 9 percent in September 2012. September had the highest percentage of institutional investor purchases of any month since RealtyTrac began tracking in January 2011" -- Wonder if anyone has been keeping up with the "H.A.R.P" funds?

You know, if the Obamarats that are speaking up now had voted to delay 00-bamaCare for one year, there wouldn't have been a shutdown, and Judas 00-bama wouldn't be embarrassed at the rollout until next year close to the mid-term elections. . Now we know why they didn't speak out.

Hmmm, interesting... the State Department's "Rewards for Justice" program is set up to pay out for info for terrorists arrests on the list published by the State Department. After 14 months, no one's name who is "wanted" for the Benghazi attack causing the deaths of four Americans had been put on the list. Talking about avoiding the issue....

With 22 personal people on Michelle's taxpayer paid personal staff (and obviously "essential"), you would think she could have assigned at least one of them to weed & care for her garden.

You know, you're sitting in your car at a stop light and the person in the car in front of you is engrossed in what's on his/her cellphone when the light turns green and the driver is oblivious because he/she is texting. Honking your horn is the only real option, but that may only make you look impatient. We need an alternative. We need something that will scare the bejeezus out of the driver in front. How about a novelty buzzer that can be placed behind your grill that has the sound of severely screeching brakes...sorta like a car trying to stop from rear-ending you. A controller you mount on you steering wheel with volume and length control would be perfect . Maybe if some thoughtless drivers had an experience on the receiving end of this, they might just put off checking/answering their phones until they get out of their cars.

You know, when I have a project that is not going well or just plain has me blocked, I'll turn my focus onto something that I know will be easier for me to get back on the right track. What is Judas 00-bama thinking by bringing immigration reform back up now?

Dang... the World Series looks like an episode of "Duck Dynasty".

Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": Tell me, Pastoral Institute, how you can wed Ben Carson’s hate speech with “servant leadership." -- Never has the time for "the truth will set you free" been more needed by the NAACP than now.
---
Extremely low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "The ideological temper tantrum thrown by Ted Cruz and the Tea Party cost the U.S. economy $24 billion. How can they say they care about the deficit?" -- We have to do something about public education... partucularly in math. $24 BILLION is barely 2/3rds of a months interest payments alone on the $17 Trillion dollar debt the government, and low-info voters have amassed and saddled us with!

You know what would cut down on stupid teenage postings on social media? Require proofs of age, then require people under 18 to be joined to a parents e-mail or social network account, and all the postings/messaging made by the minor, incoming and outgoing, be sent to the parent.

Having a new granddaughter has reintroduced us to the Disney Classics. It's been a while, but one obvious thing leaps out at you... Disney Classic movies are reminders of when stereotyping was dominant, and political correctness was non-existent.
