From a fellow BCer: "Thought for the
day: We are
always hearing about how Social Security is going to run out of
money. How
come we never hear about Welfare running out of money? --
AMEN!

Don't believe any poll about the Republicans' popularity dip because of the
'shutdown' that includes ObamaPhone users or anyone working for the
government...or Obamarats in general, because they feel that way
regardless.
---
Online headline/story: "Immigration rally allowed
on Mall despite shutdown * A week after World War II veterans struggled to gain access to a memorial
on the National Mall due to the government's partial shutdown, thousands of
people pushing for a new immigration law were cleared by the government to
proceed with a concert and rally Tuesday on the Mall * Under
the same First Amendment rights that are allowing Honor Flight veterans and
their families to visit the veterans memorials on the National Mall, other
groups will be granted access to the park for First Amendment activities in
accordance with National Park Service established regulations," National Parks Service spokesman Mike
Litterst said in a statement" --"same First Amendment rights"? Who among the illegal
aliens stormed the beaches at Normandy? Which illegal aliens were met by wired
shut barriers? James Woods is on target when he says "Obama is an
abomination".

From
the 'there's something wrong with this pictures" department - Online story:
"There’s a baby on the way!
And it all started on TV… sort of. * As part of the "Today" show's #BornTODAY series
last month, Jessica Menkhausen became the first woman to have her journey with
fertility treatments broadcasted live. Her fiancé, Derek Manion, was by her side
at St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri while cameras were rolling. * And this morning, the tearful couple heard
their doctor say two words they’ve been longing to hear: “You’re pregnant." --
Huh? Some medical facility, some medical personnel, gave fertility treatments to
an unmarried woman and her fiance? Where are the ethics of
medicine?
---Online headline: "Bill to pay military death
benefits reaches Obama’s desk" --Pathetic...
but what's new. Judas 00-bama could have solved this with a phone call, but has
chosen not to do so. There hasn't ever been a 'shutdown' on his Executive Order
capability.
---Online story: "Wolf Blitzer attempted to explain the comments about Obamacare that caused a frenzy on
Wednesday. * Blitzer was speaking
about the repeated glitches in the program's website when he said the following:
"They had three years to get this
ready. If they weren't fully ready, they should accept the advice Republicans
are giving them, delay it for a year, get it ready and make sure it works." --
Of course, Blitzer tried to back step away from this, but you cannot contain the
truth... even though it takes a couple of days for it to get to the rest of the
world outside the tiny realm of CNN.
---Online headline: "Radiation Levels
Near Fukushima Reactor Hit 2-Year High" -- Hmmm, those Olympic medals are going
to be really shiny.
---
Online story: "Kwame Kilpatrick was sentenced to 28 years in prison
Thursday, seven months after he was convicted of public corruption in federal court. * It marks the end to another chapter in the saga
of Kilpatrick, who was elected mayor of Detroit at the young age of 31. * Once
mentioned as a possible candidate for president later in life, Detroit's
"hip-hop mayor," now 43, is generally credited as one of America's worst mayoral leaders of the past
decade." -- Where do I start? "mentioned as...president later"? Only if
he takes the Mayor's job in Chicago.. "credited as one of America's worst
mayoral leaders"? Anyone worse, close for that matter, was an Obamarat as well.
And poor Detroit.. Kilpatrick will eventually get freedom, Detroit
won't.
---
Did you know "The Organization for the
Prohibition of Chemical Weapons" (OPCW) existed? Whatever.. "It" was awarded the
Nobel Peace Prize yesterday. I guess they have just as good of credentials as
when Judas 00-bama got his.
---Online story: "MELBOURNE, Fla. - Does a cat in a wheelchair also need to be on a leash?
Apparently, the answer is yes. * Brevard County Animal Services issued her $230 in tickets for
failing to have Pooh Bear on a leash * Animal
services said there are no exceptions to the leash law, even for disabled
animals. * "Your animal could be injured. It could be hurt. It could run out
in the street. It could be attacked by another animal. It's just the law that we
have to follow," said Brown." -- "no
exceptions"? What a policy nightmare. This just crushes the image of a
government "for the
people".
---
When you think about it, Judas 00-bama's "shutdown" is
working. Mainstream media has been 'shutdown' about anything else 00-bama is
involved in.
---WTVM9 story: "As the government
shutdown stretches on, it increasingly affects American life in less obvious
ways—like beer production. * Southbound Brewing
Co., a craft beer company based in Savannah, has been working for months to
develop a new seasonal brew for autumn. Now, they are not sure what the season
will be when they finally get approval to release the new flavor. * The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau is closed for
the government shutdown. * "We can't, one, put
our formula in to get approval, or two, even get a label so we can register it
with the state so we can sell it to our distributor," says Smith Mathews,
Brewmaster at Southbound Brewing Co. "So we're completely prevented from
brewing this next beer, because of the government shutdown." -- Hmm,
wonder if Judas 00-bama 'craft beer brewery' IN THE WHITE HOUSE has been
shutdown,
too?
---
Online headline: "Pelosi: Speaker has the key to open government"
-- Can you believe this witch? Guess the last BOTOX injections have frozen her
brain in a stupor. This is the same woman who "opened government" by
ramrodding an unread healthcare bill through the
House.
---
Online story: "Despite President Obama's promises
of transparency, the White House blocks routine information for reporters, seeks
aggressive prosecution of classified information leakers and uses its own media
channels to shape its messaging, according to a scathing new report by the Committee to Protect
Journalists." -- Hmmm, the Committee to Protect Journalists must be some right-wing
terrorist group because the mainstream media seems to poo-poo
this.
---
We definitely should keep any federal
employee who filed for unemployment on a permanently nonessential, not eligible
for re-hire status. Those will be getting state (for which they haven't
contributed to) unemployment plus federal back pay. They will be getting paid
twice for work none have done. Yeah, Ms Pelosi, I can see you have no other
places to cut
spending.
---
You know, one day, historians are going
to look back at this time in history and evaluate abortions-on-demand,
especially government funded ones, as genocide or another
holocaust.
---
Will someone please check and see why the
total homocides as reported by the L-E is 17, and reported by WTVM9 as 18? Does
WTVM9 know more than the
L-E?
---
L-E headline: "A new home for the
Classic? * Tuskegee-Morehouse officials ask for more city support, say
game could move to Phenix City or Montgomery" -- Like more police protection
costs that the City already absorbs? If "the Committee" wants more "City
participation", shutdown "the Committee" and let the City be in charge of it,
and let the teams pay their own expenses, and fees for use of our
facility.
