Alert to a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase an original Tim Chitwood "sculpture". Local newspaper columnist ( for lack of another category to reference him), Tim Chitwood created a bird house sculpture for a charity fund raiser. It is now available for purchase at booth A21 at the Front Porch of the South between now and Halloween Eve as its theme is most appropriate. The first $100.00 can buy it, or if you want it, but not that much, you can make/negotiate a lower price offer. One such offer has been tendered by another newspaper columnist and will be in the game on Wednesday. Step up and get this original creation for your front porch Halloween decoration.

Online headline: "Paris Hilton Dresses Up As Miley Cyrus For Halloween Party At The Playboy Mansion" -- Wow.. the ultimate wake up call Horror Montana.. the slut queen has abdicated her title.

The excessive bearding in the World Series makes you wonder what these guys do in their off time. None are making minimum wage so if they want facial hair, why don't they spend a few bucks on proper, even some, grooming. These guys look like they scavenge dumpsters for aluminum cans to make ends meet.

Columbus just got a dig park.. It's free, but there's one catch... It's open from 8:00-5:00 Mon-Fri and closed on weekends. That really helps people who have jobs that pay taxes to keep the park open only for those either non-employed or retired.

That "horse collar" penalty in football...it's another 'bad for football' penalty, but if you grab hold of extended dreadlocks, is that worse?

---
Really...how does a city, Detroit specifically , get $18 Billion dollars indebt? For a town like Detroit, that's over $25,000.00 per man, woman and child in the City. If Columbus had that much debt per person, the total debt would "only" be $5,000,000,000.00, 1/7th of Detroit's debt, and Columbus would be drowning in debt.

---
That still didn't answer my own question, so ..the only way for Detroit to get in that sorta debt... Bankers not holding the guarantors responsible for showing assets, capability, and willingness to pay back their loans. Sorta like the Fanny Mae/Freddie Mac policy that destroyed the housing market combined with Detroit politicians, all Obamarats, defaulting on the "full faith and credit...( well over extended credit)" of the citizens of Detroit.

Online headline: "Obama plots budget plans with congressional Dems" -- "plots"? "plots with Obamarats"? Yes, Judas 00-bama, "Mr Transparency", "plots". You know, counting Judas 00-bama, there are 536 elected official representing the American people... 256 are Obamarat supporting... that means that 280 such officials have been elected by Americans who prefer a different approach, a different direction, and different results offered by Judas 00-bama. In other words.. Judas 00-bama does not speak for the majority of Americans, and doesn't want to listen to the majority.

---Online story: "PITTSBURGH (AP) — A high school student who dressed as a homeless man for a drama assignment was so convincing that he fooled school officials — and ended up getting suspended.
It began with an assignment last month, senior Michael Bodomov, 17, said: Create a character and be that person for an entire day at Mount Lebanon High School, just outside Pittsburgh. * Bodomov said he created a homeless man named John who had a falling-out with his family after he ran over his younger sister. John was also swayed by a guru to give up all his material possessions. * "I wore like a couple layers of coats and some sweatpants," Bodomov said. He added a pair of fingerless gloves, mismatched shoes and plastic bags for socks. He also smeared ink on his face to make it look dirty *
He also tried showing them the garbage bag he was carrying, since it contained his school backpack. But his attention to character detail thwarted that, too. The bag was also filled with empty plastic bottles, and that's apparently all the officials saw. * "I had to kind of think on my feet," Bodomov said, since he didn't want to break character before the school day even began. * "It's not like this entire time I wasn't trying to let them know I was a student," Bodomov said. "It was pretty funny to me." * Then the police showed up.
* After staying in character for a little longer, Bodomov explained the whole situation. The police left, and an administrator said he was suspended for insubordination and for breaking a rule that students must identify themselves to an administrator when asked." -- Hmmm, yes, there was a 'revealing'... actually there were three. The student revealed his identity and his assignment, and the school revealed it's liberal hypocrisy.

Online story - (verbatim): "60 Minutes took on Benghazi tonight in a wrenching report by correspondent Lara Logan. She reported that a Gitmo releasee was a major figure in the attack: * We’ve learned that this man, Sufian bin Qumu, a former Guantanamo Bay detainee and long-time al-Qaeda operative, was one of the lead planners along with Faraj al-Chalabi, whose ties to Osama bin Laden go back more than 15 years. He’s believed to have carried documents from the compound to the head of al Qaeda in Pakistan. * Fox News had previously reported that U.S. intelligence sources suspected Qumu had a central role in the attack, but the report had been denied by an Obama-administration national-security official
In an emotional exchange with former Libya deputy chief of mission Gregory Hicks, Logan sympathized with his dismay that no help was on the way during the attack:" *We have learned there were two Delta Force operators who fought at the Annex and they’ve since been awarded the Distinguished Service Cross and the Navy Cross — two of the military’s highest honors. The Americans who rushed to help that night went without asking for permission and the lingering question is why no larger military response ever crossed the border into Libya — something Greg Hicks realized wasn’t going to happen just an hour into the attack.
Lara Logan: You have this conversation with the defense attache. You ask him what military assets are on their way. And he says–
Greg Hicks: Effectively, they’re not. And I — for a moment, I just felt lost. I just couldn’t believe the answer. And then I made the call to the Annex chief, and I told him, “Listen, you’ve gotta tell those guys there may not be any help coming.”
Lara Logan: That’s a tough thing to understand. Why?
Greg Hicks: It just is. We — for us, for the people that go out onto the edge, to represent our country, we believe that if we get in trouble, they’re coming to get us. That our back is covered. To hear that it’s not, it’s a terrible, terrible experience. -- Wow! It's good to know that CBS listens to Fox... It's also good to know, that CBS isn't giving Hillary a pass on Benghazi... or whether she should answer calls at 3:00 AM.

Online headline: "Sebelius to face House committee amid Healthcare.gov troubles" -- I guess facing the House committee was her choice of options, since the other was 'to face the truth".

Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " Republicans cost taxpayers $24 billion with their government shutdown. That’s three and a half aircraft carriers or $100 for every man, woman and child in America." -- What century is this lib living in? First, $24 Billion doesn't even pay the interest for 2 months on the $7 TRILLION Judas 00-bama has added to the National Debt.. secondly, aircraft carriers now run $13+ Billion , and thirdly, he's underestimated the American populace by 60,000,000 people. Hmm, what century may not be the question.. perhaps this is what he has learned at public school.

Wow, a local lawyer (and lifelong acquaintance of mine), Cecil Cheeves, just competed in and completed the Hawaii Ironman Triathalon. That's a competition (calling it a "race" is bizarre) that entails a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bicycle ride, followed by a 26.2 mile leisurely run... and he did it in 14 hours and 10 minutes. You have to wonder how much that is in billable dollars. Congrats, Cecil and Bettye!
