Well, two days of government shutdown, and what have we learned. Government shutdown does not shut us as individuals down, government shut down highlights the unnecessary taxes dollars wasted on nonessential government workers/services, and that Judas OO-bama and his minions don't give an Obamarat's patootie about actual taxpaying citizens.
---
Judas OO-bama spinmeisters are out floating balloons that the shutdown may cause the Army-Navy football game to be canceled. How embarrassing for our next generation of warriors! The "greatest generation" (and none under age 88) bowled through the barriers at the WWII Memorial rather than cower under political garbage. I say "kick off" on time. While you're at there are some worthless Obamarat Senators that would be great "tackling dummies".

Online story: "Ten students were arrested after a massive fight broke out between rival schools following a bomb scare at a south suburban Chicago high school Monday.
The melee started when 1,400 students from Rich Central High School were bused to Rich South following a bomb scare at Central, said NBC Chicago. * Tensions between the rival schools are so high, the district no longer allows night football games against each other due to fights and violence " -- Hmmm, Rich Central to Rich South...word on the street is that Judas 00-bama has blamed this on the 'Rich', and will redistribute the students next week.
---
On a local note - L-E story: "One Baker Middle School teacher was threatened and another repeatedly bruised in two separate incidents while trying to break up fights between students, according to a Columbus police report." -- Guess this is part of the "Chicago Core Curriculum" that seems to have infiltrated the MCSD.
---
Teachers in Brazil have stepped up their strike to unheard of violence. Hmmm, maybe Chicago and Columbus ought to recruit those teachers to replace the ones it has so order can be maintained in the classroom

Online headline/story: "Hillary Clinton Pushes For Early Education In Campaign * Clinton, the former secretary of state and first lady, early Thursday posted an op-ed to the website of Too Small To Fail, an advocacy campaign coordinated by former Clinton staffer Ann O'Leary. The campaign, Clinton wrote, will help educate parents and push for more workplace flexibility. *Clinton is framing the expansion of early childhood education as a question of equity, playing off profound "word gaps" between rich and poor children before they even start school. According to this research, by the time they turn four, kids growing up in upper- and middle-class homes hear 30 million more words than tots whose families are on welfare."Coming to school without words is like coming to school without food or adequate health care," Clinton wrote. "It makes it harder for kids to develop their creativity and imagination, to learn, excel, and live up to their full potential. It should spur us to action just like child hunger and child poverty." -- She finally admits it! The welfare entitlement programs she advocates/desires have enslaved the poor to the Obamarat concept. Government and public school programs have taken over the parents involvement of the children's development, so instead of knowing how to help themselves, they wait for the magic words, "You don't know how to do anything, but I'm from the government, and I'm here to help".
---
The Obamarats' battle cry over the Republican attempts to end/delay/dismantle ObamaCare is that "It's a f****** law!". OK, it's a law, then even Judas 00-bama cannot alter of change the "law" or even parts of the "law" without declaring himself "above the law". Hmmm, am I detecting Judas 00-bama is further "evolving" into Nixon?
---
Online story: "Iraq executed 23 people during two days in September, most of them convicted on terrorism charges, the justice ministry said Tuesday. * They take to at least 90 the number of people who have been put to death in Iraq this year, * Executions in Iraq, which are usually carried out by hanging, have drawn widespread condemnation from the European Union, the United Nations and rights watchdogs * UN human rights chief Navi Pillay said this year that Iraq's criminal justice system was "not functioning adequately." -- Hmmm, where were these "watchdogs" when Saddam Hussein was entertaining his friends at CNN with live "woodchipper" executions of his 'enemies"? Hmmm, on the other hand, since so many other 'services' are out-sourced to foreign countries... could we not out-source OUR death sentences to Iraq and let Irag handle all the appeals as well? Bet that would put a dent into the street crime figures.
---
Online story: " Montana Lt. Gov. John Walsh will run for the U.S. Senate in 2014, his campaign said Thursday, giving Democrats the high-profile candidate they've been scrambling for in a bid to keep the seat they've held for decades. * An advance copy of the announcement provided to The Associated Press said the 52-year-old former Montana National Guard commander is running because Washington needs more leaders with a "sense of duty" to do what's right" -- An Obamarat claiming to have a "sense of duty to do what's right"? No Obamarat knows "what's right" any more. All they want to do is get their share of "what's left".
---
Online story: "Shutdown specials are all the rage for furloughed employees. At the Daily Dish in Silver Spring, Md., furloughed government employees get free coffee. But "members of Congress pay double," as the sign outside the restaurant says. * No one from Congress has yet to come in and pay the extra cost" -- The Obamarat "war on classes" has reached the street, and a very valuable lesson is being realized. Give away programs with the expectation of charging 'the haves' more to pay for it are coming home to roost. "The haves" just don't participate voluntarily.
---
Dueling headlines: "Ronan Farrow Set To Host MSNBC Show * Mia Farrow Says Son Ronan May 'Possibly' Be Sinatra's Boy, Not Woody Allen's" -- Bet this'll tingle Chris Matthews' leg!
---
Online story: "President Barack Obama's strategy during the partial shutdown of the federal government is aimed at keeping up the appearance of a leader focused on the public's priorities and avoiding looking tone deaf to the hundreds of thousands of Americans forced off the job. He's also trying to maintain what the White House sees as a political advantage over Republicans" -- Trying to "keeping up the appearance of a leader"? Judas 00-bama has never attained such status to try and keep one. He did have a chance to do so on Tuesday when he could have come out during his speech and command the Senate Obamarats to agree with the full delay of ObamaCare until the bugs were worked out for everyone... but he blew it.
---
HuffPost headline: "Obamacare glitches may indicate positive trend" -- Huh? What in the hell does this mean?
---
Harry Reid doesn't think 1 child dying of cancer is worth sitting down and negotiating with House members. Oh, but would a grandchild of his be denied medical care.
---
Biden, Reid, McConnell... the Senate trifecta of less than attractive.
---
Have you thought about why the government is closing our National Parks? People used to roam them freely before the National Park Service was ever created.
---
Judas 00-bama says it's in "sympathy" with the government 'shutdown' so he's shortening his Asian trip. He really could "prove" his sympathy by making it shorter and not making the return trip back to Washington.
---
Online story: "There are now only three German children left in the Jens-Nydahl-Grundschule in Kreuzberg, Berlin—a shocking demonstration of how Europe is being ethnically cleansed by Third World immigration. * A story in the Bild magazine on the development was headlined: “We are the last 3 German children in our German school. The rest are Muslims.” -- You know, this could happen in the near future in Detroit. And who's sending $100,000,000.00 dollars to Detroit without designated purpose?
---
Netanyahu has just drawn a line in the sand. The UN needs to understand that Netanyahu is not Judas 00-bama.
---
While less than 40% of federal workers are "furloughed" because of the "shutdown" , it has come to light that 70% of national security personnel has been "furloughed" . Isn't the "furlough" system about sending nonessential personnel home? Why does Judas 00-bama think 70% of our national security personnel are non-essential?
---
How can Judas 00-bama and his Obamarats claim the Republicans are unwilling to compromise, when its 00-bama and his Obamarats who are boycotting the bargaing table?
---
Random thought: Judas OO-bama just made mention that the federal government (non-military) is our nation's largest employer with some 2.5 Million +/- workers. I have long been an advocate that government workers at any level should not be allowed to vote in races that have a direct effect on their salaries/jobs/benefits because of the direct conflict of interest. When you take the number of federal employees, add their spouse/mates/parents/voting age children up, they account for more than the popular margin of victory of every Obamarat president in my lifetime.
---
Locally, parts of the National Infantry Museum were also closed. What does Judas 00-bama and his Obamarats have against honoring our military?
---
Pictures from the WWII Memorial show "Police Line Do Not Cross" banners at the gates. This is not a civilian police issue, it's a political federal issue. Damn the "banners" , full speed ahead!"
---
One thing for sure, our WWII veterans had a better Tuesday than ObamaCare.
---
Fox News ruined the best story of the day yesterday AM. Fox proudly presented the story of the WWII vets "storming" through the barriers at the WWII Memorial, but then brought on Michele Bachman on to comment on it.
---
Republicans and Park Service employees want to be respectful of our veterans. Too bad Judas 00-bama and the 00-bamarats... apparently do not.
Early in the day yesterday, rumors are flying that mounted police would be at the WWII Memorial to stop our 88 year old plus veterans of WWII from seeing a public display meant to honor their service, their memories, and their sacrifices to our country. Hmm, Judas OO-bama must have rethought about his drawing a 'line in the sand" to veterans that had crossed the sands of Omaha Beach.
---
Kathleen Sebelius said the ObamaCare system crashes were a good thing to happen. Really? Looks like the Obamarat's "vision" is "tunnel vision".
---
Van Doorn is the perfect head of the local Obamarat Party. He get his desire to put his hands in other people's pockets genetically..
---
With the new figures of 16,000 rafters instead of the originally reported 12,000 rafters, I can recalculate the number of years it will take for the fee collected from the rafters to reimburse us taxpayers for the $1.3 MILLION dollars Mayor Obamalinson spent to repair the damages to the banks of the Chattahoochee caused by explosives and redirecting and increasing the water flow to accommodate the rafting business. Instead of 64 years, the fees we get collect will reimburse the taxpayers in ONLY 48 years! wow.....
---
L-E headline/story: "Police: Donald Fair fired fatal shot, burned truck * 4th homicide suspect held without bond * Armed with an with an AR-15 rifle" -- Too paraphrase Redd Foxx, "It's the big one, Elizabeth, I'm coming to join you!". The L-E actually defined an AR-15 as the rifle it is instead of an assault weapon.
---Low info voter's (or government worker or both) L-E "soundoff": Eighty-five percent of food stamp recipients are children, elderly, disabled, veterans and single parents. The other 15 percent are either working a minimum wage job or unemployed" -- Once again, just pulling "facts" out of the air is reason enough for libs.
---
Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " Do any intelligent people ever contribute to Sound Off? Or is it just us idiots all the time?" -- You know, it's not idiots that select the "soundoff" entries that get published. It's just one, Dusty Nix.
---
If the government was truly 'shutdown', why iare the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC still up and running?

Will the cause of death be another secret Tom Clancy takes to his grave?
