Online story: "Eight members of Congress were arrested during a Tuesday immigration rally on Washington, D.C.’s National Mall. * Several House Democrats sat in the middle of Independence Avenue and blocked rush hour traffic, according to the Star Tribune. * The representatives, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), Rep. John Lewis (D-GA), Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-NY), Rep. Al Green (D-TX), Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), Rep. Jan Schawkowsky (D-IL) and Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY), were then arrested by U.S. Capitol Police, spokeswoman Kimberly Schneider confirmed to TheBlaze. -- Hmmm, you know, these were the libs that got to where they are by protesting that foreign people were illegally forced to come here from their homelands hundreds of years ago, but are now protesting illegal foreign people from being legally forced to return to their homelands... Does this clear it up for everyone?

Worth repeating - Online story: "The U.S. Treasury needed to pay off a record of approximately $7,546,726,000,000 in maturing Treasury securities in fiscal 2013, which ended last Monday, according to Treasury's official accounting. * During the same period, the Treasury turned around and issued another $8,323,949,000,000 in new Treasury securities." -- You know, Bernie Madoff was penny ante....

I'm baffled (but not surprised) why all the grief about the shutdown (psst, has any of you actually missed anything you can't live without or can't pick up later?) be solely thrust up the Republican's rear ends. Two Obamarats can end this today. Judas 00-bama could just be presidential of all the people's interests, or Harry Reid could actually bring House bills to the floor of the Senate.
---
You know, the Obamarats didn't want anyone to read the ObamaCare bill before anyone voted on it, and don't want anyone to read it before they signup for it. Now, they don't want us to even read the handwriting on the wall.
---
The 'shutdown' is obviously working for Judas 00-bama. The mainstream media has virtually 'shutdown' all flow of information on NSA, IRS, Benghazi, Rangel, and Miriam Carey.
---
Going through some old letters/documents to see what I needed to keep on "keeping", and found a 1997 envelope with First Class postage of 32-cents. It probably got delivered timely as well. Both those issues no longer are valid. Look at today's First Class postage of 46-cents, and extended delivery times. Postage has suffered hyper-inflation, and PO egos have been inflated to the point of bloat.

Online headline: "Gay Couples Will Receive Fertility Coverage Under New Law" -- Excuse me, but wouldn't this be akin to elective cosmetic surgery on a heterosexual's insurance policy?
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — The Obama administration, scrambling to tamp down a controversy over suspended death benefits for the families of fallen troops, announced Wednesday that a charity would pick up the costs of the payments during the government shutdown."-- Hmmm... This is highly unnecessary, but we thank the Fisher House for standing up for our soldiers' families as it has done from it's inception. Too bad, Judas 00-bama could not, no, would not simply call over to the particular office and instruct one of "the essentials" to pick up a pen and write/wire the funds to the families directly affected. Leadership my arse!
---
Hmmm, the "new" 14th Street walking bridge is now up to $6.2 million in cost for cosmetic surgery. It started out as a $5 million dollar cosmetic surgery project. Why are we paying for this? It was at best optional, and what other options were canceled or delayed or squashed for this?
---

L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Starting in about a decade, Kingston, Jamaica, will probably be off-the-charts hot — permanently. Other places will soon follow. Singapore in 2028. Mexico City in 2031. Cairo in 2036. Phoenix and Honolulu in 2043" -- Will someone tell Algore that we are on to him and his theory that the world died of overheating 10 years ago, and get him to apologize to those who believed him?
---

Online story: " WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) — The mayor of a West Virginia city where a man was killed by police after firing multiple rounds at a U.S. courthouse says the gunman was retired police officer." -- Now.. can anyone name me a gun law, existing or proposed, that would have prevented a police officer, even a retired police officer, from legally buying a rifle? Move on libs.. gun laws are not the problem...
---

L-E editorial opinion: " If there’s an Exhibit A in why the voters of Phenix City cleaned house in the last election, it’s Arthur Sumbry. * The best part of the sentence handed down Tuesday against Sumbry is that he can never hold public office again. His career as a public “servant” should have been over years ago, assuming it ever should have begun in the first place." What liberal BS! Just because some judge deemed it so, doesn't mean the next judge up the line will not overturn it on some Constitutional basis. Just look at Marion Barry in Washington..
