Online headline: "'Extinct' Lizard Rediscovered In Cloud Forest" -- Oooops, my bad, thought Anthony Weiner was already making a comeback.
---
Online headline: "ISS Astronauts Wait Out Government Shutdown" -- Hmmm, wonder if Judas 00-bama drew a "line in the sand" which neither the American nor foreign astronauts can cross?
---
HuffPost headline: "Chuck Schumer Warns John Boehner Of 'Upcoming Disaster" -- "Upcoming disaster"? Schumer thinks the last 5 years were great?
---
When it gets down to it, Boehner is the one who should refuse to compromise with Judas 00-bama and the Obamarats. The Republican Party has compromised too much already over the years. Compromising values is a lose-lose situation. Too bad Obamarat voters just don't realize it..... yet.
---
Online story: " More states and nations may legalize same-sex marriage, but human laws cannot "make moral what God has declared immoral," Apostle Dallin H. Oaks, a top Mormon leader said Sunday." -- Just the truth.... no matter who tries or how they try to dilute it.
---
Online story: "A review of 40 years' worth of Los Angeles Unified personnel files that cost $400,000 over the past 20 months led to the resignations of two teachers and the recommendation that two more be fired for misconduct, according to district officials. *
Two additional teachers remain under investigation for inappropriate behavior with students, officials said, and two others were cleared of wrongdoing and returned to the classroom." -- Now, if those offending "teachers" get stripped of their pensions, that ought to cover the costs of the investigation. Now if any of the Principals or involved administrators are still active, they should also be fired and stripped of their benefits for the cover-up.
---Online headline: "Snooki Reveals She's a Size Zero" -- Oooops, my bad.. thought she admitted to "being" a zero.
---McClatcy story: " — A Joint Base Lewis-McChord soldier was stabbed to death Saturday in what may have been a hate crime, Lakewood, Wash., police reported. * Tevin Geike and two other active-duty soldiers were walking along the 12500 block of Pacific Highway Southwest when someone in a car yelled something about the soldiers being white, the two surviving soldiers told police. * Five men climbed out of the car, and surrounded the soldiers as the verbal confrontation continued. * When the driver determined the men really were combat veterans, he summoned his passengers back to the car. As they were returning to the car, one of them appeared to bump Geike, who fell to the ground as the car sped away. * "It was then that they discovered the victim had been stabbed and was bleeding profusely. Geike died at the scene," Lawler wrote in a news release. * "It looks like it could be racially motivated or a hate crime," police Lt. Chris Lawler said." -- Ya think? What have you been smokin'? Ooops, my bad.. it's Washington state.. we KNOW what he's been smokin'.
---McClatchy story: "President Barack Obama personally approved a daring raid by the U.S. Army’s Delta Force and agents from the CIA and FBI that led to the capture of an al Qaida leader outside his home in Libya, according to officials who were briefed on the events." -- Hmmm, wonder if McClatchy asked him why he didn't approve sending Delta Force into Benghazi to SAVE 4 AMERICANS!
---
60-to-70+ year old men should be banned, perhaps even shot on sight for wearing spandex bicycle shorts. Some vulgar looking bicycling man came into the downtown sandwich shop where my bride & me had opted for lunch yesterday. Where was "Keep Columbus Beautiful" when you need them?
---
Nancy Pelosi refers to the Republicans as the "Party of No". What she means is they are the "Party of Know". hmmm, Must be her way of confusing mainstream media and Democrat voters by seemingly making sense to them at the same time.
---
Watching the President's Cup was fun. Either Judas 00-bama wasn't aware of it going on, or he has more interest in golf than any other aspect of life in America, because there were American flags all over the place. They were on the caddy bibs, the players' shirts, and golf bags.
---We wanted to go to see "Gravity" this weekend. It was showing at both local first run theaters, but only in the 3D version. It's probably worth it, too. Unfortunately, not all of us can watch 3D movies. The 3D versions require the simultaneous use of both eyes. Some of us do not have that capability. It's called "lazy eye", and the brain focuses each separately, and each has a separate role. My right eye is used for distance, and aiming. My left eye is used for reading. It has a focus length of about 12", but it also has phenomenal magnifying capability. I can read legal print without additional magnification. I do not have "normal depth perception" but through practice , I develop an " associative depth perception". I can literally shoot baskets by the lines on any basketball court , but have to learn to pick out memory markers when shooting on a driveway or backyard goal. I cannot tell yardage on a golf course except by markers or with the new GPS electronics, and I adjust to those problems, and go on with life, but none of my adjustments will help when simultaneous use of the eyes is required like 3D movies, TVs or comic books.
---Online quote site: "Let no feeling of discouragement prey upon you, and in the end you are sure to succeed. Abraham Lincoln" -- Hmmm, a little timely encouragement for Boehner and the Republican and conservative voters.
---
L-E "story": " September was a bad month for alleged methamphetamine traffickers in Columbus." -- Isn't this carrying the "alleged" aspect a bit too far?
---
Boehner is missing the best response to Judas 00-bama's arrogance. Boehner should simply demand 0-0bama to let us know he is willing to negotiate on, then tell him that if he wants ObamaCare in its present form, he's got to pay for it with other entitlement cutbacks. ObamaCare can be addressed later when enough voters decide to replace Obamarats currently in office.

---

L-E story: "For the second week in a row, I’ve Inquired upon property whose owner has died. The owner of the 15th Avenue house we looked into last week died in 1992, and the person who owns the property I’m about to tell you about died in 2002. *Apparently, if a property owner dies and his or her will is never probated, or maybe they died intestate, the city doesn’t know unless the family notifies it. * So it makes one wonder how many dead people in Columbus own land aside from that in which they reside. Ah, that’s a story for another day." -- Hmmm, guess it really might behoove the Ledger Inquirer to compare those properties with the voting list to confirm their whereabouts if they are still voting.
---

Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " Let’s make a deal. I’ll watch Fox News for one week if you can tell me one thing the Republican Party has done for America since the 2008 elections." -- Hmmm, I can name many things the Republicans have done FOR America, but only if this LIV (Low Info Voter) can explain why he/she is happy with what Judas 00-bama has DONE to America.
---
I really hate to bring this up because it's sarcasm (and the MCSD board might implement it), but why is the MCSD board/system so fired up about parenting all the school children Monday AM but abandon them on the Friday PM, and let their parents feed and transport them all weekend?
---

I'm still wondering how, and why, the NAACP and the Urban League held separate "Black Tie Fund-Raising Galas" on the same night, same time, and same event center. Any one got a clue?
---
McClatchy headline: "Capitol shooting: Seeking clues into odd behavior of Miriam Carey" --Hmmm, I don't recall McClatchy being concerned at the "odd behavior" of Trayvon Martin... I am Miriam Carey!
