Online story: "The U.S. Supreme Court signaled a willingness on Monday to
rein in President Barack Obama's power to temporarily fill senior government
posts without the Senate's approval (a.k.a. "recess appointments"), a move that
would curb his ability to bypass a gridlocked Congress." -- You know, it's sad
that Judas 00-bama's track record on his interpretation of the U.S. Constitution
has caught the U.S. Supreme Court's obvious attention, but it's even sadder that
Judas 00-bama was an associate professor teaching Constitutional law to other
lawyers-to-be.

Online story: "New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) is facing a federal
investigation into whether the governor used Hurricane Sandy relief money to
produce tourism ads starring himself and his family, Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.)
told CNN Sunday. The New Jersey lawmaker said the inspector general for the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development conducted a preliminary
investigation, and concluded that a full investigation is warranted" -- Amazing!
The Inspector General has more Judas 00-bama and Hillary scandals to investigate
than "Carter has liver pills" which languish in his inbox, yet has time to go
after a possible Republican candidate.

Online story: "WASHINGTON (AP) -- Top congressional negotiators Monday
night released a bipartisan $1.1 trillion spending bill that would pay for the
operations of government through October and finally put to rest the bitter
budget battles of last year. * "This agreement shows the American people that we
can compromise, and that we can govern," Senator Barbara Mikulski, D-Md, said.
"It puts an end to shutdown, slowdown, slamdown politics."" -- Here we go...
another round of "stupid Republican tricks"...You know, Boehner and
McConnell should have made this "deal" to fund government operations through
November instead. Now the whole month of October, leading into the elections,
will be focus on another government shutdown just prior to said election
week.
---
Online story: "In California, officials have acknowledged the need for
improvements, saying fewer than 5,500 people signed up for health care in
Spanish in October and November, the most recent period for which records are
available. About 4.3 million California residents speak only Spanish, according
to census data. It's not clear how many of these residents are without health
insurance, but observers say few groups are more vulnerable." -- Less than 13
per 10,000 who are "California residents (which) speak only Spanish"? You know,
I'd like to see the number of those that are American and California citizens.
With that info, we could really see how bad California public education
is!

Online story: " Mikhail Kalashnikov, the designer of the AK-47 assault
rifle, reportedly wrote a regretful letter several months before his death
asking the head of the Russian Orthodox Church if he was to blame for the deaths
of those killed by the guns. * Kalashnikov's daughter, Elena, was quoted by
Izvestia as saying that a local priest could have helped her father write the
letter, which was typed and carried his signature" -- Hmmm, the old "typed
letter" confession... hmmm, how many people in Russia past had "typed
confessions added to an already signed piece of paper, or simply forged. In
reality, Kalashnikov often stated in interviews and public speeches that he
created the weapon to protect his country and couldn't be blamed for other
people's action. In a nutshell, Guns don't kill people, people kill people . The
same applies for knives, SUVs, and hammers/screwdrivers as well.
---
Online story: "Rep. George Miller (D-Calif.) will retire at the end of this
year. * Miller was first elected in 1974 in a district in the San Francisco Bay
area and has been a leading Democratic party voice on education, labor and
health care policy." -- Hmmm, "leading Democratic party voice" on the three most
tax dollar abused areas of government... I don't blame him, though, it's been
the ignorance of California low info voters that have perpetuated his previous
existence.
---
Online story: " There are beers brewed with everything from exotic grains
and spices, to artificially flavored hops, fruits like apricots and pumpkins,
moon dust (seriously), even whale meat. * Wait, what? Yes, you read that right:
there is now even a beer brewed with whale meat, according to the Independent.
And as you might have guessed, this hasn't exactly gone over too well with
conservationists and animal rights activists." -- Hmmm, "hasn't gone over too
well with conservationists and animal rights activists"? Is this story trying to
say or imply that whale flavored beer HAS GONE OVER WELL with beer drinkers?
Gimmee a break!

I usually don't bother with anything associated with Kanye West or
Kardashians in general, but this one story needs airing: "Kanye West just
attacked an 18-year-old guy inside the waiting room of a chiropractor's office
... after the guy allegedly called Kanye the N-word ... TMZ has learned. * Kim
was at a Beverly Hills medical building when she was swarmed by photogs. We're
told the guy allegedly tried to help Kim get in the building, as he started
screaming, "F**k these fa**ot-*ss n****rs"" -- referring to the paparazzi. Kim
then told him it was not appropriate to use the N-word. We're told he then
screamed at her, "F**k you b**ch. Just trying to help you. Shut up n****r
lover, stupid slut." -- Hmmm... Kardashian probably should have asked first if
the idiot was spelling it with an "a" or with "er"... To be honest, the
screaming idiot probably got what he deserved... actually, less than he
deserved. I just hope no California judge or jury will reward his (_*_)
behavior.

Online story: "When federal agents swooped into a swanky Cherry Hills
Village home last week as part of widespread raids tied to medical-marijuana
businesses, they found a person inside holding a loaded gun, according to a
court document unsealed Monday. * By the time they were done searching the $1.3
million home Thursday, agents had collected five assault-style rifles, five
handguns, a shotgun and a "large cache of ammunition," according to the
document. It did not identify the person with the gun. * As part of their
investigation, agents had obtained an e-mailed photograph that appears to show
that man, 49-year-old Hector Diaz, holding two semi-automatic rifles while
wearing a Drug Enforcement Administration ball cap. * The details on the raids
come from an affidavit in the criminal case against Diaz and provide new context
for the largest federal operation against medical-marijuana businesses ever in
Colorado. Agents executed "approximately 15" search warrants during the raids,
the affidavit states * a search warrant shows that detectives believe this may
have ties to Colombian drug cartels. * Diaz, a Colombian national, was charged
with a single count of possessing a firearm after having been admitted to the
United States under a non-immigrant visa." -- Unbelievable... gues "fast &
furious" has been replaced by "an inside high and fast one".
---
L-E story: "Since altering its own name in October, Columbus Regional
Health has formally been using the name Midtown Medical Center for its flagship
hospital, long known as The Medical Center. * System spokeswoman Anne Holmes
said Monday it won’t be long before the signage on the multi-story hospital on
Center Street has the new name on its exterior." -- Hmmm, this just confirms
that the name change was a hurried decision, probably caused by the
Medicare/Medicaid "scandal" reported shortly before this announcement. On the
other hand, when the sale of "Jay Automotive" was announced, y=the old signs
were coming down before the newsprint had dried.
---
While discussing ways the City could... no, SHOULD save money, the FOP
brought up some, and I added a few comments/ideas of my own. but a new found
ally on the comments board who remembered that the City has been giving a ton of
money annually to Columbus Regional for indigent care. Now with OObamaCRAP's
universal Medicaid insurance, every one has insurance, so Council paying into
the indigent fund is basically "double payment", and restitution from Columbus
Regional should be prompt, and further payments suspended. Council should also
initiate a tax 'kickback' to all property holders.

You know...Robert Gates had done what Robert McNamara should have done
years before he came clean about the Vietnam disaster. If Judas 00-bama is not
100% committed to a military mission, he should pull all our troops out of
harm's way. Not some, all of them.
---
In a contest of "he said, I said" pissin' contest.. who you gonna believe..
Judas 00-bama or Robert Gates and the fence post?
---
In a rehash of the Benghazi Congressional Committee investigation, someone
asked if it was plausible to think Judas 00-bama willfully misled the American
people... Was he serious? There hasn't been one issue addressed by Judas 00-bama
where the American citizens hasn't been INTENTIONALLY misled!
---
You know, every time I see Bleep Veep Biden conducting official duties, I
think of the guy that played the bungling VP in "My Fellow Americans"...and..cry
to keep from laughing.
---
Why the flap over which girl goes to the Olympics to skate. No skater has
ever topped John Curry's solo performances in the 1976 Olympics, and no one
probably ever will. I can YouTube that when I have a desire to see figure
skating, and watch something better when when its scheduled for TV time.
---
Hillary...now she's out giving speeches on women's rights. Huh? Isn't this
the same woman who allowed herself to be humiliated by her philandering husband.
Has she any self-esteem? You know, when you get down to it, the Democratic Party
has always treated Hillary as a token show pony, or in this case, a show ass.
Why not just change her name to "Jenny"
---
Was watching an older movie about an assassination attempt and how
intricate the plans were, not only to kill, but to escape as well. Then I
thought about how times have changed, and how Muslim assassins would not even
plan to escape. Blowing themselves up makes all such plans more dangerous than
ever.
---
You know, 00bamaCRAP is destined to cost way more than any Judas OO-bama's
spinmeisters will ever own up to telling us.. well, admitting to mainstream
media. With record numbers on unemployment and food stamps and SSI, tax credits
for OObamaCRAP will offset any tax liabilities associated with 1099-G forms.
Throw in the unearned head of household, childcare credits, and even more tax
refunds will be bumped upward.
---
L-E headline: "City government again hopes to sell Civic Center naming
rights" -- Why not approach Kennon Parker etc and ask them? I can see the sign
they should put up on the Civic Center building and marquis sign, "For Sale by
KPDD"
---
Ooooooh.. Another idea for a new Civic Center sign, "For Sale by Council
which THINKS it owns it".
---
Online story: ":The Michigan Education Association is going to arbitration
to try to force the West Branch-Rose City school district to pay a former
teacher who was convicted of molesting a student a $10,000 severance buyout." --
This epitomizes what's wrong in public education... teachers' job security based
on longevity rather than quality of service.
---
L-E "headlie/schmedline": " Gunman allegedly threatens victim with
revolver" -- Hmmm.. let's see... did the alleged gunman threaten the alleged
victim, or did the alleged victim have a gun also?
---
The SCLC wants to place a statue on the steps on the State Capital in
Atlanta. The SCLC wants to pay for it. Neither aspect is disagreeable, but I do
think one thing should be considered primarily, and that is are there any other
non-GA politicians with a statue on the Capital steps? I do not know either way.
If not, precedence should be honored. If there is another, Dr King should be
honored as well.
---
A-Rod should be very concerned about all those hormones and steroids he's
taken... seems like they've gone to his brain. Does Lyle Alzado's plight ring a
bell?
---
You know, allowing "stipends" for NCAA athletes will encourage the
coaches/schools that bend the rules to do so even more than they already are,
and discourage the coaches/schools that try to stay within the parameters of
doing what's right. Boy, what an opportunity for unscrupulous booster
fans!
---
Hmmm, Ford is going to make its new F150 trucks out of aluminum to lighten
their weight. You know, that sounds a little bit contrary to advertising a
truck as "heavy weight" or "heavy duty"...
