Time Magazine's cover asks, "Can Anyone Stop Hillary?" -- Yes ... her own ego. Do not let polls discourage you from voting.

Online headline/story: "Obama: Marijuana no more dangerous than alcohol * As has been well documented, I smoked pot as a kid, and I view it as a bad habit and a vice, not very different from the cigarettes that I smoked as a young person up through a big chunk of my adult life. I don't think it is more dangerous than alcohol," the president said. * Smoking marijuana is "not something I encourage, and I've told my daughters I think it's a bad idea, a waste of time, not very healthy," Obama said." -- Is there anything Judas Pinocchi-00 feels that truth is more important than maintaining his image as a pathetic liar? Telling an intentional lie to one's daughters when he had a chance to impart parental wisdom is just not acceptable for a Dad at any social/economic level but as president... good grief! This really does raise his claims of American citizenship to more scrutiny.

Online headline: "Obama: NFL players know the injury risks ‘they’re buying into * “I would not let my son play pro football’" -- Hmmm, oh! Judas Pinocchi-OO would micro-manage his son (can you imagine Trayvon Martin playing pro football), but would only discourage his daughters from using marijuana. Good grief.. this guy has his finger on a nuclear trigger!

CNN online story: "No Googling allowed: Who are Koichi Wakata, Oleg Kotov, Mike Hopkins, Mikhail Tyurin, Rick Mastracchio and Sergey Ryazanskiy? * If you're stumped by the question, don't feel bad. You're not alone." -- Very few people will know this answer... they are the 6 people 'living" together on the International Space Station. Now don't go kicking yourself for not knowing.. it's not a V-8 event. Just think of yourselves as being part of a doubling or tripling the people reached by CNN who now know the answer.

New York Times poll: "Majority of New York Voters Say They Would Re-Elect Cuomo, Poll Finds * The poll asked the opinions of some 800 registered voters in the state, and a solid two-thirds said they viewed Mr. Cuomo favorably; 54 percent gave him a positive assessment of his job performance and a solid majority — 57 percent — said they were ready to re-elect him." -- What did I recently postulate about polls... here's a another good example. If I were polling only 800 people in my state, I would know how the poll would turn out before I actually posed the questions to them. Cuomo is obvious a piker compared to similar potentates. Shoot, Lenin, Castro, Chavez and Kim Jong Il had polls with 100% popularity.

Online story: "Dennis Rodman has checked into an undisclosed alcohol rehabilitation center to treat his long-time struggle with alcoholism, his agent says.* Rodman recently returned to the United States from his latest trip to North Korea. * He later apologized for comments he made in North Korea about a detained American missionary, saying he had been drinking and was under pressure as he organized an exhibition game there. He also sang "Happy Birthday" to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at the start of the friendly game.* "He is embarrassed, saddened and remorseful for the anger and hurt his words have caused." -- "embarrassed, saddened, and remorseful"? I think that better describes how Americans feel about Rodman.

L-E story: "The superintendent has given the Muscogee County School Board a report from an independent research firm that he says helped inform his controversial recommendation to retain the board's legal counsel for another year, but the report equivocates about its "accuracy and completeness" and doesn't identify its sources. * David Lewis, hired as superintendent in July, sought clarity amid the controversy by relying on Hanover Research of Washington. The board approved the contract with Hanover in October for $90,000 ($30,000 per year over three years)" -- Like the toddler in the State Farm ad who said the Mime speaking was "freaky", I find it "freaky" that the Board is spending 3 times as much money on this research as it did on hiring Lewis as superintendent.

WRBL3 News story: "Nearly nine thousand have joined the facebook protest group in less than a week. The group called "T.R.A.G.I.C." -- or "Teachers Rally Against Georgia Insurance Changes" -- is speaking out about the problems the state insurance change has caused them * Some like Melissa McCoy - a teacher with chronic hypertension who suffered a major heart attack last year - say the change is shifting that budget deficit to them, “My diagnosis has come to a standstill because of this insurance. I can't afford the diagnostics - I can't afford to do that and go see my specialists as I need to and I can not afford to pay a vast pharmacy bill that's coming out of my HRA but not offsetting that deductible." -- Teachers: Welcome to OObamaCRAP. Your unions supported his election and re-election in spite of the overwhelming evidence that Judas Pinocchi-OO was a liar then as now, and if you were trusting enough to vote for him twice you ought to be accepting of whatever he says.

It was refreshing to have the announcer at the Pats-Broncos game to remind folks to remove their hats. Unfortunately, it's gotten to this point. Sadly, some players left their do-rags on, and too many couldn't.. wouldn't...stand at attention or put their hand over their heart.
---
After watching the National Anthem ceremony at Seattle, the NFL needs to send a memo out that when real effort has been made to honor our flag, out country, and especially our soldiers, the players need to make an effort to show that they respect and support our military.

Hmmm, do you wonder whether Martin Luther King's family likes sharing this birthday weekend with Michelle Obama?
---
You know, Laura Bush celebrated her 60th birthday while her husband wad the sitting president, yet mainstream media didn't seem to fawn over how well she looked at 60.

On a friend's FB time line, a line of other things you might "like" include an icon for Aflac and Congressman Bishop. The Aflac Duck had 445,000 "likes" and Congressman Bishop had 2,700. I can see where people love the Aflac 'quack" but not the 'quack' politician.

Latest from the Democratic Party: ":Your flight and hotel are on us, Hal" -- OK, I bit and read my e-mail from the www.barackobama.com website. Just as I expected.. another lie.. They aren't giving me anything.. I can sign up and make a donation to 'win' a trip to see Judas Pinocchi-OO. How can doanting be a requirement. McDonald's has ways to win it's games without buying anything, and super giveaway promoter, Publishers' Clearing House" makes a big point about not being required to make a purchase to be able to win. Now I have to wonder if the DNC will cover the taxes on the winnings?

Did you know that you no longer have to be an American citizen to donate to a political party? Now you can make a donation if you are a "permanent resident alien".How can anyone be classified as a "permanent resident alien" and be given the Constitutionally protected rights limited to American citizens?

A story in the L-E's "Ledger Inquirer" feature, a house is brought to our attention. Circumstances involving a foreclosure in limbo have left the house deteriorating and without immediate recourse by any party involved. I'm curious as to why the bank carrying the original mortgage would not act in its best interest to secure the premises from roof/water damage. I'm curious as to why there aren't federal regulations requiring banks to do so when the property has been abandoned. Government "at work".. Welcome to OObamaCRAP, too.

Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " Check the record. The mayor doesn’t get a vote on spending. Council votes got us where we are." -- Half truth... typical Democrat politician claim. The Mayor has the controlling vote on every issue brought to the Council attention. If Council splits 5-5 on an issue, the Mayor casts the deciding 6th vote. In effect, Mayor Obamalinson, as her predecessors, vote on every issue.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr spoke, " I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." -- The most important aspect of his dream has been nullified, undermined, by pretenders to his throne, and by the mainstream media. No issue can be addressed, and no meaningful dialogue can be carried to fruition without a thorough assault on the other sides' skin color.. Sadly, the Jesse Jacksons, the Al Sharptons, public education, and the liberal media have done more to contain advancements than any other influences.

L-E story: "Former Hardaway running back J----- C--------, a member of the 2015 recruiting class, officially withdrew his commitment to the University of Louisville on Sunday. C------- is a rising senior, but is ineligible to play his final season with the Hawks because he has already turned 19 years old. He will spend his final year conditioning, staying healthy and handling his recruitment." -- Wait a minute.. "He will spend his final year conditioning, staying healthy and handling his recruitment"? How about studying! I'm glad that education is available, but where is the wisdom of having a 20 year old walking the halls amongst 14/15 years olds? Obviously he's two years behind his peer class, so why isn't he separated from the public education system? Why not arrange for him to get his GED and move on? Ironically, with a redshirt college year, he could be playing college football at age 25 against someone else's 18 year old son. If it's taken him 5, maybe 6 years to graduate from high school, what scores does he have for college admission? Something is very wrong here.
