Online story: "WASHINGTON -- After failing to reach an agreement that would avoid litigation, the federal labor board issued a complaint against Walmart on Wednesday, formally accusing the world's largest retailer of breaking labor law during Black Friday strikes by its store workers." -- Good grief! What a conspiracy of federal supported union activity! Walmart could run this country profitably, has a better healthcare package than OObamaCRAP, and Judas 00-bama sics the DOJ on Walmart. This country would be better off today and in the future if we replace OO-bama and his Cabinet with the Board of Directors of Walmart.

HuffPost headline: "President Obama thinks Facebook is lame" -- Hmmm, well I'm sure FaceBook has a similar opinion of Judas 00-bama as well, but if 00-bama "thinks" that way about FB, can you imagine what he "feels" about HuffPost?
---
Online story: "The Air Force says 34 nuclear missile launch officers have been implicated in a cheating scandal and have been stripped of their certification in what is believed to be the largest such breach of integrity in the nuclear force. * Some of the officers apparently texted to each other the answers to a monthly test on their knowledge of how to operate the missiles." -- Two things going on here...one is what appears to be the ripple effect of lack of leadership from Judas 00-bama as Commander-in-Chief , the other is if text cheating is evident among officers in military, it must be pervasive with college/hs students in classrooms.

Online headline: "House Passes $1.1 Trillion Spending Bill" -- Perspective we can grasp...If the day you were born, someone put $34,000,000.00 in aside for you each day of your life, and you lived to be 80 years old, you would still be short of acquiring a trillion dollars.
---
Online headline: "Lieberman Issues Harsh Criticism Of Obama" -- Whoa! You know it's really bad when Casper Milquetoast says anything harsh about anyone. Shoot, Lieberman still speaks highly of McCain.
---
Online story: "Making good on a promise from last year's State of the Union to help create good-paying American jobs, President Barack Obama on Wednesday announced a new public-private manufacturing hub in North Carolina to develop next-generation power electronics." -- Wait a minute... what Judas 00-bama has basically "created" is a think tank full of well paid people who apparently don't actually manufacture anything. In other words, well-taken-care-of "Friends of Obama". More could be accomplished by giving new tax breaks for research to proven and existing hi-tech companies.

The Independent and Libertarian Party would do more for this country by joining the Republican side and working hard to shore up waning conservative ideals than by running candidates in general elections. It is so much easier for Democrats to win a race where only a plurality of voters pick the winner. Look what Perot did.. he gave us Clinton who got only 43% of the votes. As for the 2014 elections, the last thing this country needs is to send any Democrat to (or back to) Washington with a minority of voter support.

Online story: " The decision of Washington state and Colorado to legalize a plant directly responsible for the deaths of zero people is "reckless and irresponsible," a top Drug Enforcement Administration official said Wednesday. * “It scares us,” James L. Capra, the DEA chief of operations, said at a Senate hearing on drug cultivation in Afghanistan, according to The Washington Post. “Every part of the world where this has been tried, it has failed time and time again.”" -- Wanna get a pool started as to when this guy is replaced?

Online headline/story: " Judge to decide on Detroit's deal to pay off debt * The bankruptcy judge overseeing Detroit's restructuring plans to issue his decision on a renegotiated interest rate swaps deal that could save Detroit millions of dollars. * A spokesman says Judge Steven Rhodes will rule from the bench Thursday afternoon on the $165 million deal reached last month with UBS and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. * The complicated deal before Rhodes involves the city's pledge to use casino tax revenue as collateral to avoid defaulting on pension debt. The swaps let Detroit get fixed interest rates on pension bonds." --Good grief! Detroit has declared bankruptcy on $18 BILLION in debt run up by City em[ployees, and a judge has secured the retired ones' their pensions... Wouldn't securing some jail time for them been more appropriate?
---
Online headline: "Would you pay $31,500 for a hyper-luxe Louis Vuitton handbag?" -- No, my wife would kill me for thinking she had similar tastes as Oprah Winfrey.
---
You know, I'm not usually for "special laws", but in the case of someone spending $31,000.00 on a purse, I do think a "special law" for such should be enacted requiring the purchaser to also make a $31,000.00 donation to her local food bank or homeless shelter. Yeah, "her", no guy is going to knowingly buy his wife or girlfriend a $31,000.00 purse.

Remember the little girl in front of the TV in "Poltergeist"? Well, ''he's baaccckkk.. Yes Jeremiah Wright.. yes...Jeremiah Wright is back in action... The Chicago Teachers Union invited him to give a keynote address to them for a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day event, and he took aim at Judas 00-bama, but also compared himself favorably to MLK, Jr. One thing for sure, OObamaCRAP cannot cure Rev Wright's illnesses.

That Spencer High school student who ran over the man on a scooter, and dragged the man more than a mile ( and over speed bumps) causing the man to lose an arm. * I want to know how he had a car on school grounds? When my kids went to high school, to drive/park a car on campus, we had to provide proof of insurance to get them permission and a parking permit, and our girls had to complete a driving class and show their drivers' licence. This guy had no license, no insurance and false plates. Somebody's head should roll at Spencer.

I found it somewhat hypocritical to see Columbus Regional talking about putting maternity services at it's North campus (old Hughston). I remember how hard Columbus Regional fought St Francis' application because adding more maternity services would create too many "beds" for the needs of the community. What's the difference since St Francis now has those extra beds...does Columbus Regional now think there aren't enough maternity beds?

Online headline/story: "Pentagon probes photos that appear to show Marines burning corpses of insurgents in '04 * Some of the photos that were released show an unidentified Marine, his face blurred digitally, pouring gasoline on the dead bodies of slain Iraqi insurgents, while another shows a Marine posing next to a charred skull." -- Hmmm, on the other hand, there were no incidences of US Marines filming the decapitation of a live insurgent... we just get videos from terrorist groups doing that to our soldiers and civilian reporters. From what I understand, our soldiers do not do this anymore.. the same cannot be said for terrorists.

Benghazi... reports being aired now are nothing but political manipulation.. Judas 00-bama got past the election; so starting new cover up investigations now will be ebb long before November 2014, and way far before Hillary starts campaigning for 2016. Amidst this new interest, mainstream media will point out it has looked into it. Judas 00-bama will escape impeachment as well, because any efforts for such will pass quickly in the House (in fact, too quickly), and it would also be quickly rejected by the current Senate, and even a reconfigured post 2014 election would not generate a 2/3rds majority of Senators who would convict him.

Saw a video of a set of twin brothers from Australia monkeying around with an eight foot Tiger shark. One brother was in the water, protected by a big bird cage, and the other brother was recording it from the boat. It became apparent right quickly that the bird cage was not adequate protection, so twin #1 started flailing the cage at the shark while twin #2 kept recording the event. If I were twin #1, I do believe I'd reevaluate my trust of my twin brother.

It's amazing to follow liberal posting on social sites when they openly comment on defense spendings. Libs feel that the DOD budget could be cut 50%, and still provide our current soldiers and vets with their needs, and America could have total security if the right people were in charge. Unfortunately, liberals do not have a successful example of any liberal government idea ever being success with liberal appointees running it.
---
Online quote source: "“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” - Aristotle" -- Hmmm, I guess the antithesis of Excellence is Insanity. Liberals have the habit of putting other liberals in office and things never improve.

Again, e-mail soliciting donations for www.organizingforaction.com are coming from info@barackobama.com. There was a big to-do about him converting his campaign website to a 501 (c) 4 charitable status right after the election in 2012. Why isn't the FEC and the IRS on top of this?

Online headline/story: "Agenda 21: California Law Would Abolish Private Property * Part of the United Nations’ Agenda 21 is the abolition of private property. Confiscation of private property will be done under the guise of “sustainability.” They’ll argue that having a large plot of land is an inefficient use of the land, and that your land would be better used if it were developed into something else * Perhaps they’d prefer that a mass transit rail run right through your property. So they’d take your property over through eminent domain, forcing your out of your own house and off your property to somewhere else where they have much more dense housing, and use the land that was previously yours as they saw fit. * These types of tyrannical gestures are being implemented around our country at the local level. In California, there is a law that’s awaiting Governor Brown’s signature that would institute an agency at the county level that could seize private property basically on a whim and using “sustainability” as the excuse. * (Example:) A city mayor or county supervisor forms a new joint powers authority called a “Sustainable Communities Investment Authority” (SCIA), they appoint elected officials to serve on the SCIAs board. * If you live within 1/2 mile of a bus that runs every 15 minutes during peak commutes, or the SMART train or Caltrain in a single family home neighborhood your neighborhood can be targeted by the SCIA as inefficient land use and “blighted” as it is not high density multi-family housing. * The SCIA can then wield the power of eminent domain to purchase unused, for sale or even occupied land in order to build high-density multi-family housing – that it deems to be efficient land use." -- Hey, all you local major visionary land developers.. are you looking closer now than a few minutes ago at Mayor Obamalinson's track record, and her current push to have a high speed rail system to Atlanta? Who's land is she going to "confiscate" to do that?

L-E story: "Superintendent David Lewis has recommended the Muscogee County School Board retain Hatcher, Stubbs, Land, Hollis & Rothschild as its legal counsel, despite critics saying the no-bid contract doesn’t allow other law firms to compete for the opportunity * (Lewis added) “I met with representatives of Hatcher-Stubbs to establish a new method of billing in which charges are billed to the GL account to which they are charged. This will serve two purposes:
“1. I am better able to track and identify legal expenses relative to each specific division. Billing will be reviewed on a monthly basis.
“2. This will provide better insight into areas where training is needed within a division to potentially reduce the need for legal assistance.
“A second control I have implemented is that no one other than a division chief may submit a request for legal assistance.
It's a matter of resource efficiency.. Hatcher Stubbs charges the MCSD only half of its usually billing rates. No hired staff lawyer could provide near the sevices for that money. What the MCSD does need, and it looks like it's being addressed, is knowledge of where legal expenses are piling up. Those areas may require new plicies or replacement of current personnel who can handle situations without calling in the legal team.

Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " I invite you all to watch the “World According to Dick Cheney” this Saturday on 513/SHOce, wherein he attests to Iraq having weapons of mass destruction and is immediately shown to be a liar." -- Hmmm, why not just turn on Fox News any day, any time it's convenient for you, and watch Judas 00-bama and his spinmeisters constantly demonstrate they are liars?
---
Could be the same low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "We saw the photo of the opposition of our Mayor. The supporters on the front row, who abuse their budgets (our money) and want more, bow to a Republican who vows to cut their budgets." -- "bow to a Republican who vows to cut their budgets"? Huh? Isn't that a good thing?
---
L-E's " Thought for Today": “Goodwill is the only asset that competition cannot undersell or destroy.” — Marshall Field, store founder (1834-1906)." -- Hmmm, guess Marshall Field never met a liberal campaign speech writer...
---
L-E editorial headline/content: "‘Slave’ comparison trivializes genuine historical wrongs * If the Rev. Richard Jessie was just being metaphorical at Tuesday’s Columbus Council meeting when he accused the city of using “slave labor” in the city’s Public Works Department, it didn’t sound metaphorical to most people hearing it. It sounded quite literal, over the top and way over the line." -- You can knock me over with a feather right now.. I just read a Ledger-Equirer editorial that actually got perspective right... In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if St Francis's Cardic Center had an overflow of new patients his AM.
---
L-E headline/story: "Apple will refund at least $32.5 million in app case * “You cannot charge consumers for purchases they did not authorize,” said Edith Ramirez, the (FTC) chairman." -- Where was Ms Ramirez a few years ago when parents were charged for their children's text messages in spite of the parents wishes not to have that availability. We, like most parents, felt coerced into signing up for a "text package" in addition to out talk time limits for fear of the double or tripled monthly bills to pay for text messages if we didn't sign up for such. Things did finally change as new packages put text in with the overall package.. but there was a time.....
