I can see a time when faster runners might be handicapped with weighted shoes, and larger linemen have built in airbags to lessen the impact of blocks and tackles. Hmmm... Sunday is the Super Bowl. The temperature will be in the 20's, and fans will be sitting for 3+ hours in an outdoor arena. Players will have sideline heaters, and get to go inside during the extended halftime show. Owners will be sitting in the heated and well-stocked skyboxes. Yep, the NFL is surely for the fans.

There were 10 pictures printed in the leagl section of the L-W today of people who had been convicted for their 2nd or 3rd DUIs inn the past 5 years. Sadly, it's just been the 2nd or 3rd time they've actually been caught and arrested.. who knows how many times they had gotten behind the wheel of a car in a DUI state that they weren't observed and stopped. How about GPSing the vehicle they were caught in the first time, and track it for the next 5 years and have a patrol car go to it if the vehicle is observed in an alcohol selling store or business....if the driver id caught the second time, confiscate that vehicle regardless of who owns it.
