Online story: "For years, signs along Central California fields reading
"Congress-created dustbowl" and "man-made drought" have reflected an ongoing
battle between farmers and environmentalists over water from a large estuary
northeast of the San Francisco Bay called the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.
Three million acres of farmland and 25 million people from San Jose to San Diego
depend on water from the delta, but environmental regulations to protect
threatened delta smelt and endangered salmon have restricted the amount of water
that can be pumped from it. * House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and three
Republican congressmen from Central California proposed emergency drought
legislation to allow farmers to pump irrigation water from the protected delta.
Their effort was unsuccessful. In addition, the governor, in conjunction with
state agencies, has proposed a plan that would cost from $25 billion to as much
as $67 billion to build two 30-mile underground tunnels to ensure water delivery
from Northern California to Southern California." -- Hmmm... "build two 30-mile
underground tunnels (a bit redundant) "... You know, this epitomizes
liberalism... there's an obvious solution, but the fish are more important, so
they pull pipedream alternatives out of thin air.

Online story: "Residents in Spokane, Wash., protested the opening of a new
bar called the Daiquiri Factory after the bar named one of the drinks on the
menu 'Date Grape Koolaid, * 'I don't want to shut these guys down,' a protester
explained, 'I just want to point out that they are handling a sensitive subject
badly, and hopefully to change some hearts and minds.' * The owners refuse to
change the name, saying that protesters are making a 'big deal out of nothing.''
-- Huh? From the state that voted for liberalism in the last 7 elections (timed
effectively with Microsoft becoming the PC operating system),and a state that
voted, illegally I might add, to allow recreational marijuana trafficking, and
the state that trails only California in wine production comes a wee bit of
concern for what, at best, is the warped association of a morals issue of a
closed mind. Hey, protestors.. why is this Koolaid any more offensive than what
Judas 00-Barnum gives you? Hey, if any one has a fight in this game, it's a
legal team from Kool-Aid.

From the "speaking of drinking Koolaid" department - Online story: "Barbara
Walters gave a heated defense of Woody Allen on Monday's edition of "The View."
* Walters said she has spent a lot of time with Allen and his current family. *
"I have rarely seen a father as sensitive and as loving and as caring as Woody
is," she said." -- Barbara Wa-Wa just wrote her own epitaph..and is now a
zombie.. one of the walking dead. Defending Woody (_*_), who married a 17 year
old minor child in his care. This is even worse than those teachers who prey on
students. Barbara W(_*_)-W(_*_) is truly just as big an (_*_) as Woody. This
will be how I remember her.

Online story: "LEBANON, N.H. — Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center will
receive almost $1 million in federal funds to expand telemedical services and
equipment in New Hampshire and Vermont. * Dartmouth's Center for Telehealth
launched in 2012 and its goal is to connect with rural healthcare providers
using technology. * The U.S. Department of Agriculture funding will be used to
expand Dartmouth's technology infrastructure, including software, and to buy
equipment for a total of 26 sites in New Hampshire and 15 in Vermont." -- What!
This is pure political pork barreling...a
"picture-next-to-the-definition-in-Websters moment! First, it has nothing to do
with the US Department of Agriculture, but more grievous is why it's being
funded, even supplemented, by federal funding.. If Vermont/New Hampshire voters
want this, they should pay for it.

Online story: "TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) — Libya's Foreign Ministry said Tuesday
the country's caches of chemical weapons, including bombs and artillery shells
filled with mustard gas, have been completely destroyed." -- Hmmm... right... or
as Jon Lovitz would quickly add... yeah.. that's the ticket.
---
HuffPost headline: "GOP Candidate Regrets Comparing Hillary Clinton To The
Anti-Christ" -- What... another "stupid Republican..... trick"? Why do
Republicans do stupid stuff like this... Hillary has enough baggage to work on
without giving her ammunition to divert attention from all her real and other
flaws.

"Americans for Prosperity" is running an ad campaign expressing its
disappointment in the promises Judas 00-Barnum has not kept to the liberal base.
You know, it sounds like this group supports the promises he has kept that have
created turmoil to our economy and health , and total distrust of the office of
the president. Perhaps "Americans for Prosperity" is somewhat a misleading name,
and perfectly appropriate for the Democratic Party's campaign.
---
Just for a second, I'm going to parse OObamaCRAP by what Judas 00-Barnum
tries to convince us of what it is.. HealthCare. HealthCare breaks down to two
aspects. Health and Care. Tell me how either one has been improved by 00-Barnum
and his circus?
---
Juan Williams....he was fired by NPR, and Fox News took him in, which
pretty much saved his life/career. We know he's a liberal, but that doesn't
justify why he puts the defense of Judas 00-Barnum ahead of his journalistic
integrity or his obligation to Fox and Fox viewers to seek and report the truth.
Why does Fox allow him access to its air time?
---
Online quote site: "“Some people wonder all their lives if they've made a
difference. The Marines don't have that problem.” - Ronald Reagan" -- EXCEPTION!
How about when they are ordered to hold umbrellas for Judas 00-Barnum?
---
L-E headline: "MAN TO PLEAD GUILTY IN TSYS ID THEFT * D--- J(_*_)-----
faces federal charges for allegedly stealing info from TSYS workers" -- Hmmm, if
the (_*_) is :willing: to plead guilty to existing charges, then TSYS has no
clue as to what damages haven't been caught/revealed.
---
L-E's " Thought for Today, “The greater the philosopher, the harder it is
for him to answer the questions of common people.” — Henryk Sienkiewicz, Polish
author (1846-1916)." -- Hmmm.. only if the philosopher is a BS artist.. do any
Democratic philosophers leap to the tip of your tongue?

L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Several million people will reduce their hours on
the job or leave the workforce entirely because of incentives built into
President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul, the Congressional Budget Office
said Tuesday. * That would mean job losses equal to 2.3 million full-time jobs
by 2021, in large part because people would opt to keep their income low to stay
eligible for federal health care subsidies or Medicaid, the agency said. It had
estimated previously that the law would lead to 800,000 fewer jobs by that
year." -- Even Judas 00-Barnum's clowns are abandoning the circus he has
developed. The CBO has determined that OObamaCRAP will cost 3,100,000
EXISTING/projected full time jobs.
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Hundreds of soldiers and others are under criminal
investigation in what the military describes as a widespread scheme to take
fraudulent payments and kickbacks from a National Guard recruiting program. The
fraud cost the U.S. at least $29 million and possibly tens of millions dollars
more, officials said Tuesday. * Two army generals revealed to a Senate panel on
Tuesday new details of an ongoing investigation into a recruiting program put in
place in 2005 to boost flagging enlistment during a crucial period of the Iraq
War. * As many as 200 officers, including two generals, are suspected of
participating in schemes to take advantage of a referral program that paid out
cash bonuses ranging from $2,000 to $7,500 per recruit. * Sen. Claire McCaskill,
D-Mo., called the investigation “one of the largest that the Army has ever
conducted, both in terms of the sheer volume of fraud and the number of
participants.” -- Now, to be fair, the Senate should follow through on its
investigation to the fraud Sen, McCaskill has perpetrated on the American
taxpayers as well. She has used her Senate expense account to pay for the use of
a plane she and her husband are primary investor/owners.

Wonder if college football players who have no hope of being drafted to the
NFL will be quite as in favor of unionization... hmmm, the cost of scholarships
(tuition, books, room & board, all those students fees, and even those
"free" tickets for friends/family would have to be considered taxable income
each year they are in college, and without being able to work (other jobs - NCAA
rule) while they are on scholarships, how would they pay the taxes on it each
year they are in school?
