Online story: "Michael Sam, a defensive end from Missouri and a projected mid-round NFL draft pick, announced Sunday he is openly gay." -- Hmmm, if he gets drafted, I guess his team will become the first to run the "no huddle defense".

We all have a special sympathy for children and families with unusual medical hardships, but is it worth legally introducing cannabis oil/marijuana into our state for the unknown benefit for one or a few? I don't think so. This is another one of those liberal "do it for the children" bills we know has "political payback" written all over it.
---
WRBL-TV3 story: "The IOC banned helmet stickers in tribute to Canadian halfpipe skier Sarah Burke, who died after a crash in training two years ago. * The IOC's tough stance is often explained by fears that allowing someone to display non-Games-related messages on the gear would encourage others to use the games for their own gain." -- Yeah, right... the IOC just isn't going to allow anything advertised that the IOC can't get compensated for.

Those "ugly Christmas sweater" Olympic garb designed by Ralph Lauren were being sold (and sold out) on the Polo website at $595.00 each. Some have made their way to "ebay" and have moved at $3,000.00. Taste, like art, is indeed in the eye of the beholder, but..I didn't know Ralph Lauren was visually impaired.

Online story: "Museum of Modern Art and MoMA PS1 has selected The Living’s (David Benjamin) “circular tower of organic and reflective bricks” as winner for the Young Architects Program’s (YAP) 15th edition in New York. An exemplar of the cradle-to-cradle philosophy, the temporary installation will be built using a new method of bio-design that results in a structure made entirely from organic material." -- "Temporary" buildings? Sounds more like something the MCSD Board would approve for a new school building. It seems every one it builds has an expiration date stamped on the side.

Online story: " The Copenhagen Zoo killed a 2-year-old giraffe and fed its remains to lions as visitors watched * Marius, a healthy male, was put down Sunday using a bolt pistol * The public feeding of Marius' remains to the lions was popular at Copenhagen Zoo. Stenbaek Bro said it allowed parents to decide whether their children should watch what the zoo regards as an important display of scientific knowledge about animals." -- Hmmm, cut out the part about publicly feeding the remains to lions, and I could vote to "outsource" our death penalty executions to the Copenhagen Zookeepers here in America.

That 15 year old Russian girl skater, Julia Lipnitskaia. I saw her standing up by herself so I know she actually does have bones in her body, but when she skates and spins, I couldn't imagine any one with bones in their body being limber enough to do what she can. Wow!

Online headline: "Donna Karan turns to real people for her DKNY show" -- Hmmm, guess the horde of "supermodels" now know what she thinks of them....
---
There ought to be a cap on ages for US Olympic skiers. Perennial bad boy Bode Miller just takes up space at age 36. It's time he got a regular job, and allow some up and coming youngster have a shot at the Gold.
---
Online headline: "Snowden used common low cost software to access millions of NSA documents." -- You'd at least think Snowden would have recommended his software for OObamaCRAP to use instead of that boondoggle Canadian software Sebelius spent $678 MILLION on... Now, don't go saying the NSA didn't know about that long before it went public.

Oh, that college basketball idiot who shoved a fan and got a three game suspension from his school. Ain't gonna mention his name or school. The NCAA and the Stillwater, OK police department should crack down on that program.... HARD!
