Online story: "WASHINGTON (AP) - A sharply divided House approved a Republican plan Wednesday to launch a campaign-season lawsuit against President Barack Obama, accusing him of exceeding the bounds of his constitutional authority. " -- Boehner finally has grown a pair. The Supreme Court should take this immediately to restore the Constitutional restrictions set forth by our founding fathers. This is "too big,.. too important" to flounder around in the lower courts.
---
As to the above story, every university should fire all professors of Constitutional law who do not support the House's law suit.
---
Why do talk show folks think financial sanctions will stop, even slow down, Putin? Putin knows Factless Shrugged is not going to act, and no other country is equipped to do so, and the UN now stands for Useless Nonentity. Putin already has the resources he needs, and if he needs cash, he can write checks just like the man of Steal and devalue his own currency at home and abroad.
---
Online story: "Pointing the finger at Republicans for congressional inaction, President Barack Obama chided lawmakers Wednesday for spending the waning days before their month-long summer break trying to sue him rather than addressing economic issues that could boost the middle class. * "Stop being mad all the time. Stop just hating all the time. Come on," the president said in a boisterous and sharply partisan speech in Kansas City." -- "rather than addressing economic issues that could boost the middle class"? Good grief.. all the Factless Shrugged has done is try to undermine the middle class! Millions of illegal aliens is not an "immigration" problem, it's an all out "invasion"... an invasion that destroys the foundation of our economic system.
---
Online healine: "Flood mishap underscores big problem in US * Many of America's water pipes, like the one that ruptured near UCLA, are over a century old -- and could burst at any time, experts say." -- Hmmm... wanna bet that Diane Feinstein and Queen Pelosi introduce a bill to get taxpayers from the other 49 states to pay for this?
---
HuffPost headline/story: "Uncontacted Tribe Emerges From Brazil Rainforest After 'Violent Attacks' * Several of the tribal people have been treated for flu, which could be especially deadly as they have no immunity to the disease. * “At first they were afraid and wary, but thankfully in the end they understood, believed us, trusted the medical team and accepted the medicine,” Carlos Travassos of Brazil's National Indian Foundation" -- "tribal people"..."National Indian Foundation"? The HuffPost actually used the "t-word" AND the "I-word", and Elizabeth Warren hasn't squealed? Where's the mainstream media? Hmmm, why isn't the Washington Redskin's legal team already filing to adopt this "tribe" as its act of contrition to celebrate diversity?
---
There's a new 10 Safest Cities in America list out. Columbus didn't make it. No surprise there, but it hurts even more when you find out a New Jersey city did
---
Online headline/story: "Son surprises parents with check to pay off mortgage * Yup, it was a big, fat check to pay off his parents' mortgage. * the gift grand totaled of $340,000 -- $210,000 to the loan company and $130,000 to the bank. * Apparently the comedian had told his parents he would one day pay off their house. * his parents had wanted him to stay in college, but he had his sights set on the entertainment industry. That's when he promised them he'd take care of the mortgage one day -- and it looks like he followed through" -- Hmmm.. hey you legal eagles and number crunchers out there.. how quick will the IRS jump on this, and rewrite a fairy tale into a horror story?
---
HuffPost Headline: "Paul Ryan Says 'Climate Change Occurs No Matter What'" -- Whoa! Dumbo the Flying Elephant is not the most remarkable thing we have ever seen! Now we have seen it all.. and absolutely 100% truthful headline in the HuffPost.
---
HuffPost headline: "Ex-IRS Official Criticized GOP Using Scathing Language, Emails Show" -- "scathing language"? How about...juvenile, disrespectful, and unprofessional language? Hmmm, didn't take long for the HuffPost headline writer to fall off the pedestal...
---
HuffPost "headlie": "Most Americans See Unaccompanied Immigrant Kids As Refugees, Poll Says" -- Well, the HuffPost headline writer has regained form. The actual poll result was this "Some 70 percent of Americans think the United States should provide temporary support and housing for unaccompanied Central American minors who illegally cross into the country while their cases undergo review, according to a poll released on Tuesday." Most American people are compassionate.. just look what they put up with in supporting long term lazy, unproductive people...and that's just the liberal politicians and government workers I'm talking about.
---
$7,400.00....... That's the monthly stipend the man-of-Steal is going to pay foster parents to care for illegal alien minors..some are teen gang members..well as far as we can verify since they have no verifiable identification documents.
---
Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed says there should be no debate – unaccompanied, undocumented immigrant children who cross the border into the U.S. should have a home in the city of Atlanta. * Reed held a news conference on the issue Tuesday afternoon at City Hall. * He said the city of Atlanta will be a safe place for the unattended children." -- "Atlanta will be a safe place"? Good grief.. the only thing Reed wants is a chance to distribute the money...
---
Now, can anyone explain how taking unidentified, unverifiable minor children from the border states to states 1000+ miles away will help in returning the children back to their birth parents?
Fox headline: "Rev. Jesse Jackson: Silicon Valley needs more diversity" -- Hmmm.. I guess the "reverend" Jesse Jackson wants a job there.. after all, lack of diversity in Silicon Valley could only mean it doesn't have enough worthless, unproductive parasites there.
---
Online quote source: "“The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack in will.” - Vince Lombardi" -- Vince Lombardi is about to become a hero to the 99%.. They will interpret this as saying that you but be "in a will" to be successful. Well, how about making Bill Gates and Warren Buffett being made to include the 99% in their wills.
---
Hey, Senator Elizabeth Warren, how come your purported ancestors didn't treat the Europeans who fled to this continent as "refugees"?
---
Why has the mainstream media so obviously dropped the recent coverage of Embassies in Libya shutting down and evacuating their personnel out? Did someone pour the mainstream media a new glass of Kool-Aid to protect the Hillsbury DOUGHgirl?
---
Online story: "Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are wading into the heated conflict between Israel and Hamas, describing Israel’s actions in Gaza as “genocide.” * The two married actors joined their longtime friend, director Pedro Almodovar, and dozens of Spanish film stars, directors, musicians and writers, in denouncing Israel’s incursion into Gaza in an open letter." -- Hmmm, looks like the Latinos are ganging up on the Jewish community as well. Well, as far as I'm concerned, these rich Latino Hollywooders should take in and care for all the illegal Latino minors in their home state before condemning Israel for defending its home state.
---
Online story of local interest: "The company confirmed Monday about 325 jobs will be eliminated at its Columbus, Ga., plant — a former Keebler Co. facility — when it is expected to shut down by the end of 2015. The closure is part of its Project K, an effort that company spokesperson Kris Charles said in an email to the Enquirer will “unlock cost savings that Kellogg will invest in its strategy and grow its business.” * Kellogg has operations in several other cities throughout Georgia, including Augusta, Atlanta and Rome.." -- Hmmm.. guess Kelloggs thinks other GA cities are better long term investments after seeing Mayor Obamalinson get re-elected....
---
I've never been a Monteil Williams fan in the past, but I applaud his insistence that the VA be filleted for how our Vets have been abused. Call your reps and get them to remove the clause that specifically allows those bonuses handed out fraudulently to VA executives to be kept. Congress, lop off the undeserving hands.
---
J(_*_) Ventur(_*_), commenting on his lawsuit against the widow of a Navy Seal " It’s not about money; it’s about restoring my reputation.” Hmmm, that should alerted the jury that it was ALL About The Money. Ventur(_*)'s reputation was already pathetic.. in fact, Ventur(_*_) could actually improve his reputation by dropping the suit altogether, and making a donation to the widows' fund for our soldiers killed in action.
---
Online story: "In an interview with Fusion TV, Hillary Clinton argues Hamas hides their military weapons among civilians due mainly to geography, not radical religious beliefs or their hatred of Israel. * The former Secretary of State prefaced her theory by telling Ramos, “I’m not a military planner.” “Hamas puts its missiles, its rockets in civilian areas,” she then said before blaming the poor storage spot on the combination of the “small” size of Gaza and their large population." -- Unbelievable! Hillsbury DOUGHgirl actually referred hiding missiles/ammunition in UN schools as just a "poor storage spot".... I don't know which is the stupidest analogy.. this one or Pelosi comparing Hamas to a humanity organization. We are in for a long battle with mainstream media in 2016.
---
L-E's "Today in history" feature: " In 1972, Democratic vice-presidential candidate Thomas Eagleton withdrew from the ticket with George McGovern following disclosures that Eagleton had once undergone psychiatric treatment." -- Hmmm.. guess you might conclude that Eagleton was a pathfinder... he paved the way for Bleep Veep Biden's Botox treatments.
---
L-E headline: "ISRAELI SHELLS KILL 16 AT UN SCHOOL PACKED WITH REFUGEES" -- Hmmm... looks like Hamas has picked up a play from Factless Shrugged.. Factless Shrugged refers to all the MS 13 gang members as unaccompanied minor children who need daycare.
---
A video of two girls challenging a train on a bridge survived by laying down between the rails, and the rain passed over without harming them. It's gone viral.. now what.. a new game for bored teens to mimic? Lets hope all the trains have high enough clearances.
---
L-E headline: "TEMPERATURES HIT RECORD LOW FOR JULY" -- Whoa.. where's Algore and the Mosqued-man? Out playing golf in the global warming?
---
L-E story: "GLENDALE, Ariz. — Patrick Peterson is the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL. * Just ask him. * Not only did he tweet out the terms of his new contract — five years, $70 million, $48 million guaranteed — he referred to himself as the highest-paid at his position at least five times in the Arizona Cardinals news conference announcing the new deal on Wednesday — twice before he was ever asked a question. * He’s long maintained he’s the league’s best cornerback. Now he says has higher goals — the playoffs, a Super Bowl title, the Hall of Fame." -- Hmmm, wonder what the Las Vegas odds are on which game someone will end his career?
---
Do not... repeat.. do not get excited about the purported 4% gain in last quarter's GDP figures.. First, look who reported them.. secondly, look at what the last quarter figure was.

Tell you what... the more I hear liberals squeal about "botched" death sentence events being cruel and unusual, the more intrigued I am at making such "botched" applications "the standard" for executions. You know, if such deaths were offered on "pay per view", we could probably cut down on criminals committing crimes of violence , and at the same time raise enough revenue to eliminate the National Debt.

---
Online headline/story: "Massive water main break floods UCLA * A ruptured 30-inch pipe spewed out millions of gallons, wreaking havoc on the Los Angeles campus. * The 30-inch, 93-year-old pipe that broke under nearby Sunset Boulevard sent millions of gallons of water across the school's athletic facilities, including Pauley Pavilion which recently underwent a $132 million renovation that was completed in October 2012. At least an inch of water covered the floor" -- Hmmm.. guess we can expect Sen Diane Feinstein and Congressperson Pelosi to introduce new legislation to move refugee smelter fish and snail darters to Pauley Pavilion for emergency housing if the reservoir is drained. Oh, and reduce the water rations farmers and home owners are allowed to grow food and grass.

---
Online headline: "Obama ramps up sanctions against Russia" -- Ooops my bad.. thought Factless Shrugged had hired Dean Vernon Wormer who ordered Russia be put under "double secret probation.

---
Online story: "ESPN has hit Stephen A. Smith where it hurts most -- his airtime. * The network announced on Tuesday that it was pulling the First Take talker for a week from his ESPN2 morning show and ESPN Radio. He will return to ESPN next Wednesday. Smith is likely to take a break from social media as part of the move." -- Hmmm.. guess Smith's glad he's not a Republican.. he'd have been fired altogether, and Republicans everywhere would have been blamed for his "war on women".

---
L-E headline: "Sam Mitchell wants camp to be about more than basketball" -- Hmmm.."to be about more than basketball"...well, with Stephen A. Smith speaking, he got his wish.

---
I received the worst phone call ever yesterday. It was a call from a local store to "personally" thank me for being a customer. Funny thing is that it was a computer voiced "robo-call" ... Man..what's "personal" about that?

---
HuffPost headline: "Israel hits symbols of Hamas rule; scores killed" -- Hmmm.. Hamas must have the Common Core math program. Hamas hasn't figured out that if it stops firing missiles, Israel will stop firing missiles back. What is it now.. 3 UN run schools that have been storing missile/ammunition in them have been hit by the Israelis? You know, Factless Shrugged has been sending Millions of dollars to support those UN schools... If US money were stopped, those schools would probably be shut down and children would be safe from being used as Hamas shields.

---
HuffPost story: " A ruling by the New York regional office of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) says that the giant McDonald's hamburger chain shares responsibility for workers' wages and working conditions with the operators of its franchise restaurants. * McDonald's can now be named as a "joint employer" in 113 unfair labor practices complaints filed by franchise workers that are currently pending across the nation, according to Mic(_*_)h W********, an attorney for Levy R(_*_)**, the law firm which represents New York City fast-food workers. The designation could give workers more clout in future legal actions seeking higher wages or better working conditions, or protesting firing decisions." -- Wait a minute.. First, isn't the NLRB the specific board that the Supreme Court just invalidated Factless Shrugged's "recess" appointments? Secondly.. doesn't this mean that since Factless Shrugged "franchised" Pric Holder as AG, that Factless Shrugged is responsible for his inactions in upholding American laws?

---
HuffPost headline: "White House Issues Bold Climate Change Warning" -- Good grief.. has Factless Shrugged drawn a line in the sand and dared God?

---
Online headline: "Florida warns beach-goers of flesh-eating bacteria in state waters" -- Ooops, my bad.. thought this was a new IRS program to extract that well-known "pound of flesh" we've always heard about.

---
Online story: "Newly released emails show a key White House adviser, Valerie Jarrett, intervened on behalf of the health insurance industry after an executive repeatedly warned that massive premium hikes were coming unless the administration expanded an ObamaCare program that Republicans call an industry "bailout." * The controversy pertains to a program known as “risk corridors,” which allows the government to aid insurers that lose money by paying them from a pool of cash collected from insurers that turn a profit * The insurance industry, though, was concerned there wouldn’t be enough cash in the pool to go around. * A string of emails starting on April 4 of this year shows Chet Burrell, president of CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, bringing this issue to Jarrett’s attention – and issuing blunt warnings that premiums could rise if the administration didn’t change course." -- and Factless Shrugged....

---
Mainstream media has joined the Democrats in taunting John Boehner to indeed "impeach" the Mosqued-man. For once Boehner is right that the Democrats want him to start impeachment proceeding as such would be a total distraction from the real issues between now and November. Even talking about the possibility or probability does the same thing.

---
Republicans need to bury such impeachment talks. The Senate would not convict him so charges would be moot. Besides... the more Factless Shrugged reveals himself, the more the independent voters will return to sanity.

---
L-E headline/story: "Council hears pitch for tax measure on November ballot * For more than two hours Tuesday morning, Columbus Council listened to three experts from Atlanta outlining the advantages of Tax Allocation Districts, an economic development tool that allows newly created tax revenue to be plowed back into specially designated areas for infrastructure improvements to encourage redevelopment" -- We've been down this road before with Mayor Obamalinson and it proved to be in as bad shape as the current roads in Columbus are now. I've driven on multiple roads over the past months, and our roads are as in bad a shape as I can ever recall. Oh, we have public projects that drain our coffers because they do not produce positive cash flow, and we have millions invested in the Pave the Chattahoochee project, including a $244K toilet, and she's spent enough tax dollars on wasteful political payback projects that would have paid for another 10-20 new cops on the street. This plus she can't balance our budget without reducing our fund balance. Besides, the citizens of Columbus designated 30% of the last LOST to be used for existing infrastructure needs, but the Mayor has frittered those funds away on 'new toys'.

---
The Mayor is back.. trying to ram those Tax Allocation Districts through. The first time she tried, her examples blew up in her face when people actually looked into them, so why's she doing this again? Diverting good tax dollars to try and stop an area's decline just delays the inevitable, but in a slower, most costly manner. When areas "bottom out", then , and only then, will developers take the risk of redevelopment.

---
You know.. the people and groups being assembled to lead discussions on the T.A.D. issue are limited to those who stand to personally gain from such. That's not a discussion plan.. that's a brainwashing attempt.

---
L-E story: "The NCAA agreed on Tuesday to help athletes with head injuries..... * The deal, filed in U.S. District Court in Chicago, calls for the NCAA to toughen return-to-play rules for players who receive head blows" -- Helmets have improved to the point players don't get surface injuries even when they use their helmets as weapons. Put the players back into older style helmets, sans face masks, and see if that doesn't curtail concussion causing contact.

---
Online story: "Michelle Nunn can come across as a “lightweight,” “too liberal,” not a “real Georgian.” * These may sound like attacks from the Senate candidate’s Republican rival, but in fact, those are a few of the concerns expressed in her own campaign plan, which sources say was posted online briefly in December * From all appearances, the document was intended to remain confidential." -- You know.. besides wondering how the state election laws will allow a voter to be on the ballot using a non-matching voter registration name, with her upbringing in Maryland as the daughter of a sitting Senator, you have to wonder why she would think Georgians would consider her "one of us"?

---
Online story: "Diane Feldman, a Democratic pollster and strategist who counts among her clients Minnesota senator Al Franken, South Carolina representative James Clyburn, and former Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. Feldman, who did not return calls seeking comment, is frank in her characterization of the demographic groups — Jews, Asians, African Americans, Latinos, and gays — that are essential to a Democratic victory" -- How can the Jewish community sit back and be content to be considered a "demographic group" of the Democratic Party? How can Asians be content, or African-Americans or gays as well. It's pretty obvious that the Democratic hierarchy is white based, and uses/tolerates the "demographic groups" as political pawns to get its agenda through.

---
I just got hold of the Hilton Heights Homeowners Association newsletter, and was blown away by the number of crimes being perpetrated in that area... most of which is not reported in the L-E. You know, with all the crimes that are reported, the fact that so many more aren't just makes one wonder just how deep was the collusion of the L-E to get Mayor Obamalinson re-elected.

---
Online headline: "Washington state pols weigh controversial 'In God We Trust' plaque" -- You know.. "In God We Trust" is not a religion statement.. its an acknowledgement of our creator. It's obvious what "they" are smoking, but how do people elect politicians that think God doesn't exist?

---
Is "Strongly worded letter" the best he has to offer? Does Factless Shrugged really think a "strongly worded letter" will work better than the lines he's drawn in the sand?

---
You know.. the world used to be at peace knowing that America stood in the shadows to protect other countries when despots got antsy. Now the world worries that their liberty is depends on Factless Shrugged's "lines drawn in the sand", and "strongly worded letters".

---
Important facts about our Constitution that the Mosqued-man and his faithful mainstream media companions would like to gloss over and bury:
James Madison, called the Father of the Constitution, said that the Constitution should be interpreted according to the opinion of the people of the states when they ratified it, and that the Tenth Amendment, which limited the government to specific powers and left all others to the states and the people, was the cornerstone of the Constitution. * Just before his election as President Thomas Jefferson drafted the Kentucky Resolutions which stated in absolutely clear language that sovereignty rested in the people of each state. * Even Alexander Hamilton, the greatest advocate of a strong central government, stated that the government would never have any right to coerce a State." -- These are important, and context genuine, excerpts of an exceptional article. The whole article can be read here: http://www.abbevilleinstitute.org/clyde-wilson-library/lies-my-teacher-told-me-the-true-history-of-the-war-for-southern-independence/

---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " The Koch brothers’ gift to the United Negro College Fund kills three birds with one stone — improve their anti-minority image, influence black voters and get a big tax write-off." -- You know.. you can't live with liberals, and you can't kill them... legally..Whatta idiot. Not one praise for the Koch Brothers generosity that will elevate many, many students out of the grip of the government/Democrat Party efforts to keep black students in poverty. The Koch Brothers could have given that money to many other causes, but they chose this one. Their motives can be questioned, but their generosity and AIM is right on the mark.

---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Benjamin Netanyahu is a cruel dictator. The Israelis have persecuted the Palestinians since 1948. Most Palestinian Christians have fled the Holy Land due to the immoral and illegal Israeli occupation." -- Good grief... Christians who have fled do so because of the Muslim jihadist genocidal efforts to kill all who aren't Muslim.

---
From the L-E's "Today in history" feature: " In 1975, former Teamsters union president Jimmy Hoffa disappeared in suburban Detroit; although presumed dead, his remains have never been found" -- Hmmm.. maybe when the ruins of Detroit are leveled for some government project will Hoffa's body be found.

---
L-E's " Thought for Today, “An efficient bureaucracy is the greatest threat to liberty.” — Sen. Eugene McCarthy (1916-2005)." -- McCarthy wasn't so smart after all... today's inefficient bureaucracy is an even bigger threat to our liberty.

---
Judging from decisions being made by lower courts concerning states' laws, the US Supreme Court should crank up refresher courses onn the 9th and 10th Amendments.

---
L-E commentary column headline: "Wells’ loss a reminder that the public is watching * John Wells has been hanging around local ballots for close to 40 years, so it was shocking when he lost what is probably his final political race by close to 60 percentage points." -- Well, the school board runoff is over... unfortunately,, the dust won't settle until January. Moving the local elections until the November General Election date would help tremendously in eliminating "lame duck" votes by defeated School Board members.

---
Government figures proclaim this is the 4th straight month that 200,000 or more jobs have been created. On the other hand government doesn't want to discuss that better than 300,000 have applied for their first time unemployment benefits avery week of Factless Shrugged's terms in office, nor do they want anyone to 'parse' the jobs created to see how many are actually an existing job's hours being cut in half to avoid being responsible for providing OObamaCRAP.

---
L-E story: "BEIJING — China’s anti-monopoly agency announced an investigation Tuesday of Microsoft Corp., stepping up regulatory pressure on foreign technology companies. The State Administration for Industry and Commerce said it opened a case in June after complaints Microsoft improperly failed to publish all documentation for its Windows operating system and Office software" -- Good grief the investigation that needs to be conducted is at what level does the state supported software piracy start with? Of course, Bill Gate's liberalism doesn't carry a "byte" of weight with the Chinese.

HuffPost headline: "Historic treaty violated by Russia, US says" -- You reckon? Well, when the ego of little better than a community organizer with the spine of a jellyfish gets run over by terrorist groups, legitimate despots get a little more confident that Factless Shrugged is going to do nothing more than point his finger and say, "Hey, that's not fair; you can't do that"
---
Online headline/story: "Firearms manufacturer is facing charges of making improper payments to foreign officials to win supply contracts. * Firearms manufacturer Smith & Wesson has agreed to pay $2 million to settle U.S. government charges over bribes the company allegedly paid out to foreign officials between 2007 and 2010. * The Springfield, Mass.-based company had faced charges from the Securities and Exchange Commission, which said employees and representatives of the company made improper payments to military and political officials in Pakistan, Indonesia and other foreign countries in order to win coveted firearm supply contracts in those countries." -- Hmmm.. and Br'er Rabbit laffed and laffed as "the Bear of Washington" threw him under the Briarpatch..S&W's "settlement fine" wasn't even close to what S&W spent on its lawyers to get that figure. Just a cost of doing business like the "bribes" to foreign leaders to conduct business.. hey,, isn't that the premise of "US foreign aid"?
---
HuffPost "story": "MANSFIELD, Mass. (AP) -- Authorities say several dozen people were treated for alcohol-related illnesses at a weekend Keith Urban concert in Massachusetts. * about 18,000 country music fans attended the concert at the outside venue." -- "Country music fans"? Not if they can't hold down their liquor and beer...
---
HuffPost story: "Actor and noted conservationist philanthropist Leon(_*_)rdo DiC(_*_)prio hosted a gala in France to promote his foundation’s endangered species programs, and drew a whopping $25 million from attendees." -- Good grief.. What's he done for illegal Latino alien minors? What's he done for the homeless in California? What's he done for education? Liberals' priorities are just self-gratification.
---
Online story: "ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - A jury on Monday acquitted a man in the robbery-slaying of Eastern Michigan University football player Demarius Reed. * The Washtenaw County Circuit Court jury reached the not guilty verdict in the trial of Ed Thomas, 21, one of two men charged in the slaying of the 20-year-old wide receiver from Chicago. * The other man charged, Kristopher Pratt, 20, accepted a deal and pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, testifying that he shot Reed and Thomas participated in the Oct. 18 robbery. * The jury acquitted Thomas on open murder, armed robber and conspiracy charges." -- Inanae black-on-black crime... murder.. this is not a battle of racism, but s decayed cuylturism. Where's Jackson? Where's Sharpton? Where's Factless Shrugged?
---
Online headline: "Fox News poll: Voters say Obama should stay off 2014 campaign trail" -- Hmmm... somebody musta alerted the DNC and they got the Democratic Party base to treat this like a Republican Primary runoff and "crossover" to sway the vote. Republicans WANT Where'sWaldObama out onnthe campaign trail!
---
Is the mainstream media just ignoring the Supreme Court decision about the OObamaCRAP.CON illegally giving federal subscribers subsidies? What are the projected fallout numbers of those who will not pay premiums?
---
HuffPost headline: "Sabina Altynbekova Is Too Beautiful To Play Volleyball, Critics Say" -- Well, the truth is.. Miss Altynbekova makes the women of the HuffPost look drab, so it's unfair. The truth is that the HuffPost hates the truth ... whether it be in politocs, in advertising, or in reality.
---
Why is the GA Board of Elections letting Michelle Martin run for office under a fictitious name? Is that the name she files her tax forms with?
---
WTVM9 headline: "Columbus law requires swimmers and boaters to wear life jacket" -- How about requiring Whitewater Express to provide Security officers along both sides if the Chattahoochee in the launch, finish, and exit areas? When any other business has an event, Security officers are required.
---
Online story: "Coal-state Democrats are going to new lengths to distance themselves from the Obama administration. A West Virginia Democratic Senate candidate has a fresh campaign ad that shows her turning off the lights at the White House." -- Heh heh heh.. seems 24 of the 26 states that coal is a viable economic driver voted for Where'sWaldoBama... twice. This is their payback.
---
Online headline: "War on waste: Pentagon auditor spotlights US billions blown in Afghanistan" -- Hmmm... so this was "the surge" the Mosqued-man initiated..

Chicago Trib headline/story: "Obama urges African nations not to make economic 'excuses' * U.S. President Barack Obama on Monday gave a preview of a summit he will hold with African leaders next week, saying African nations should look inward for solutions to economic woes and not make "excuses" based on a history of dependence and colonization." -- ROFLMAO! .. which side of his mouth did these words escape unfettered. Sounds like something we would expect of Bleep Veep Joe Biden-my-time would mutter over an open mic.
---
Instant repeat: "Chicago Trib headline/story: "Obama urges African nations not to make economic 'excuses' * U.S. President Barack Obama on Monday gave a preview of a summit he will hold with African leaders next week, saying African nations should look inward for solutions to economic woes and not make "excuses" based on a history of dependence and colonization." -- Even the selfie he took at Mandela's Memorial Service wasn't as embarrassing as this.
---
Online story: "ST. PAUL, Minn. - The ten-member jury in the Jesse Ventura defamation trial has told the judge they are deadlocked and doubt they will reach a unanimous verdict in the lawsuit filed against the estate of former Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle." -- Good grief.. how can any juror believe Chris Kyle, the late Chris Kyle, could say/write anything more embarrassing than what Ventura has made a lifetime venture to doing to himself?
---
A local L-E writer has suggested that Peach LL complex be renamed for Frank Thomas. I disagree.. Peach LL is one of the original LL complexes in Columbus since 1951, and honors people who poured their blood, sweat, and gifts into it, bu how about "retiring "Golden Park" in favor of "Frank Thomas, Jr Park"? Maybe that would get Council active to get a better brand of pro-baseball back in Columbus.
---
One of fellow BCers took one of yesterdays "items" to a new height. Remember the story about Rahm Emanuel welcoming 1,000 illegal minor children into the Chicago welfare system.. simply for the money. Well,. here's another perspective that's probably more to the point, -- "In reference to Chicago wanting the 1000 illegal immigrants, based on their murder rate, they must be running low on targets." You mioght add that Emanuel is looking to pad the future voting lists as well.
---
Online story: Recently, NBC predicted that in 2017, we will all be tagged with microchip, implanted to help identify individuals immediately. According to the report, the technology is used to answer one question, “Am I who I say I am?” -- Hmmm.. Factless Shrugged nixes "photo IDs' for voting but wants to "chip" everyone. How about this.. give every American citizen the option of a "photo ID" or a microchip.. Oh, and make it mandatory anyone in or crossing our borders from another country to "get chipped". We'd know where they were when their Visa's expire.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " I have one word to say to all you politicians who think you’re doing America a favor by increasing the presence of guns in our society and making them more and more easily available: Duck!" -- Hey,, it's not about "increasing" the guns.. it's about taking them away from law abiding citizens rather than criminals.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "As an Army brat educated in base cities throughout America, I know the Common Core education policy makes good sense and is long overdue." -- Cut this person's allotment of Kool-Aid off immediately. I'm willing to bet this guy hasn't been on a military base unless he was one that climbed over the fence during a SOA protest.

Attention.. another moniker for the president will start making appearances. Due to his laid back format, and apparent cluelessness of the facts, in handling crises at home and around the world, another play on a well known Ayn Rand tome will be making.. meet "Factless Shrugged".

Repeat of a yesterday's thought: I believe Webster needs a new picture in its dictionaries to show an example of "futility". I suggest it be John Kerry or Hillewinsky trying to broker a peace treaty between Israel & Hamas.

---
About that ruling about whether a tattoo on a criminal could be used in a murder trial.. the prosecution didn't submit it for identification.. it was submitted as a "confession" in a non-traditional form.. sorta a pre-cellphone camera "selfie".

---
Online headline: "Typo in UC Berkeley grad's diploma goes viral" -- Hmmm.. seems some guy got a diploma from UCal Berkeley for "Communications". After it had been on his wall for 15 years, his wife was packing it to move, and noticed the diploma was conferred in "Cummunications". The major was probably offered at the San Francisco campus and the diploma blanks got mixed.

Online story: "Troy Tulowitzki has a tough name to spell, even at his own ballpark. * The Colorado Rockies handed out 15,000 jerseys with the All-Star shortstop's name misspelled in a giveaway gaffe Saturday night at Coors Field. * The second "t'' was missing, so the backs read "Tulowizki." * Many of the fans got here early. Took the shirt and left. They recognized it was a collector's item" -- One of the pitfalls for having "marijuana break rooms" at work?

---
Online headline/story: "Chicago's Emanuel wants city to house 1,000 more young illegal immigrants * "The influx of unaccompanied child migrants is a growing humanitarian crisis that we can no longer ignore," said Emanuel, according to The Chicago Tribune. "While we have our own challenges at home, we cannot turn our backs on children that are fleeing dangerous conditions. * The mayor’s office says the federal government will pay for the youths’ shelter, education, health care, food, safety and social services." --
BS!..Emanuel just wants the $63,000.00 per child that Factless Shrugged wants to spend per illegal minor alien..That's about $63,000,000.00 tax dollars .. initially. It will be another never ending government program if Congress doesn't stop it in its tracks.

From a fellow BCer... take a peek at this remembrance of why we once held Hollywooders in high esteem:

You know, the Columbus L-E has a special Foreclosure Section once a week, but the L-E could just as easily have a daily Crime Section. Think of the advertising potential for home security firms, arms dealers, bonding companies, lawyers, and urgent care facilities.

---
WTVM9 headline/story: "Feds place border crossing children in Alabama and Georgia * When children are taken into custody, they're distributed to communities around the country as they await their immigration hearings. * Alabama has received about 400 children over the past six months, and earlier this week, Governor Deal learned for the first time that Georgia is home to over 1,000 unaccompanied alien children.
* Deal wrote a letter to President Obama expressing his disappointment that the federal government has kept it a secret until now. " -- You know... these children will "get lost" in the system.. primarily because it is a government system, and no government system works very well. Now, I ask, how will dispersing these minor aliens around the country help in reuniting them with family in their home countries?

---
There's "news stories" circulating that suggest Michelle Obama is working on a deal to use GMO's (Genetically modified organisms) in food programs at the White House and School Lunch programs. I want to declare that the stories are hoaxes. Michelle Obama is not working on plans to do that!!! Besides, she and the Mosqued-man have already done this in the Kool-Aid distribution program.

---
Online story: "An Al Qaeda-linked group fighting in Syria has released video of the first American to carry out a suicide attack in the country's civil war, showing him smiling and saying he looked forward to going to heaven. * Abu-S(_*_)lha appears smiling in the video and speaks in broken Arabic. * "I want to rest in the afterlife, in heaven. There is nothing here and the heart is not resting," Abu-S(_*_)lha says. "Heaven is better. When people die they either go to heaven or hell. There is happiness beyond explanation." -- Hmmm..you know.. maybe Allah welcomes murderers .. but who wants to live forever with a god that loves misery and hate? God will be nowhere near there.

---
Listening to a any PLO spokesperson is akin to listening to a White House Press Agent....

---
Further thoughts on the hideous "evergreen" cell tower on River Road... You know.. there's something missing...a light at the top of "it" to warn night flying aircraft. Maybe the cell companies can chip in and buy a lighted "star" or "angel" to top it off for Christmas.

---
Online story: "A North Carolina mayor (BTW, he's a Republican) on Sunday was just a few miles away from finishing his 273-mile walk to Washington to draw attention to the closing of his small town’s local hospital and the plights of other rural facilities caught in financial bind created largely by ObamaCare, a changing economy and less federal funding. * He argues that closing the hospital, which receives federal funds, is a violation of the 1964 Civil Rights Act because the closure disproportionately impacts poor black people." -- Talk about stealing a "play" from the Democratic Party playbook..

---
There's an updated list of the Top 10 "worst films with name casts".. It's a sham... no list of worst films with "name casts" is complete.. no should even be started/attempted with out "Ishtar" (with Warren Beatty and Dustin Hoffman in the lead roles) as Number 1, and it didn't make this list.

---
HuffPost "headlie" : "Legal Marijuana Gets Heavyweight Backing * New York Times Editorial Board Calls For Legalization Of Marijuana" -- Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... wouldn't go so far as to call the NYT a "heavyweight" backer... maybe a "high,, what's happenin' " kinda backer.

---
L-E story: "A U.S. meat supplier said Monday a Chinese subsidiary embroiled in a safety scandal fell short of its requirements for maintaining high standards." -- Good grief.. what did he expect? China has no qualms with letting lead paint children's toys, and poisonous dog food be exported to the world..

---
We are going to have to start calling Frank Thomas by a new name.. He stepped up to the plate at Cooperstown known as the "Big Hurt". He hit a walk-off Grand Slam. He earned a name of higher calling.. the "Big Hero". Columbus' "Big Hero".

---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " I think it’s safe to say voter turnout for Muscogee County School Board runoff was sad: Approximately 2,500 voted. Heck, everyone knows schools just aren’t very important." -- Well, it was only 1 district that was voting. On the bright side.. about 700 voters who voted fro Wells in the primary did not think he was worthy enough to go back and support him.. on the other hand, John Thomas picked up about 400 new supporters. Personally, I'm quite proud on the District 2 voters!

HuffPost headline: "Pope Francis stuns diners with surprise visit" -- Ooops, my bad...thought the HuffPost didn't know the Pope ate earthly food.
---
Why is the Democratic Party so eager to accept responsibility for illegal aliens that have traipsed through Mexico to get here, while Mexico has ignored , even encouraged.. such activity? Oh, and why is Where'sWaldObama meeting with the presidents on Honduras, Guatamala, and El Salvador... but not with the president of Mexico?
---
Online story: "President Barack Obama is playing golf at a private club in Maryland with the hosts of ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption." * The White House says ESPN's Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon joined Obama on the president's first visit to Congressional Country Club in Bethesda." -- Guess Where'sWaldObama feels the exclusive Congressional CC is "Middle-ground" between the "Middle-East" and the "Middle-class".
---
Hmmm... you have to wonder if the Mosqued-man's legacy quote will be, "Waffle softly but carry a Ping
putter"?
---
Backtracking a bit, do you think Putin believes the Mosqued-man has reached his "more-flexible-after-the-election" maximum yet?
---
HuffPost headline/story story: "Apple May Be Spying On You Through Your iPhone * Personal data including text messages, contact lists and photos can be extracted from iPhones through previously unpublicized techniques by Apple Inc employees, the company acknowledged this week." -- Hmmmm...now we know what "NSA" means...Naughty Sneaky Apple".
---
You know.. the man-of-Steal's proposal to spend $3.78 on illegal alien minors' housing and care is getting more absurd.. Have you seen the video for the new Atlanta Football Stadium.. It has more bells & whistles that you van shake a stick at, and will be built to appeal and care for 70/80,000 at a time, and, before graft and cost overruns, has a price tag of ONLY $1.2 BILLION!
---
the Mosqued-man's argument that he swapped out 5 jihadists for a deserter because he was not going to leave an Americam soldier "behind" gets more suspect every day Marine Sgt Tahmooressi sits in the Mexican jail. It's now 118 days..and nights Tahmooressi sits abandoned by the Mosqued-man.
---
Speaking..well, indirectly, I suppose, of Tali-Bergdahl's "swap".. the Mosqued-man said past presidents have done this at the end of wars. He said Washington did, he said Lincoln did, as well as FDR.. Huh? Washington wasn't elected President until 6 years after the Revolutionary War, Lincoln was assassinated less than a week after Lee surrendered, and FDR died before the Atomic Bombs were dropped. Not sure we can blame this on Common Core, but the Mosqued-man sure is a common liar.
---
Hmmm.. Donald Trump has won the contract to build a luxury hotel in the old Washington, D.C. Post Office building. At 315 feet, it's current clock tower is the 3rd highest structure in the Capital, and it's only 4 blocks from the White House. Hmmm, now "the Donald" will have a better view to look down on the Mosqued-man .
---
This speculation.. well. rumors.. that Where'sWaldObama "is considering" to sending planes to Honduras, and flying children back here to America. Wouldn't that be "human trafficking".. "kidnapping"... "ILLEGAL"!
---
Hmmm...the man-of-Steal wants to put thousands of illegal aliens in closed military facilities. Hmmm, why hasn't he thought about using those facilities to house homeless veterans?
---
The Clintons....whatta matched pair. Neither writes their own books, but now they don't want others to write books about them. Hey, Hillary...what difference does it make?
---
Online headline/story: " Officials at some Denver homeless shelters say the legalization of marijuana has contributed to an increase in the number of younger people living on the city's streets. * The Salvation Army's single men's shelter in Denver has been serving more homeless this summer, and officials have noted an increase in the number of 18- to 25-year-olds there. * Some of the homeless have felony backgrounds that prevent them from working in pot shops and grow houses, which are regulated by the state" -- Hmmm.. Now we know why the government wanted to legalize "pot"... by not arresting users, the government has shifted the housing burden to charitable organizations.
---
Instant repeat - Online headline/story: " Officials at some Denver homeless shelters say the legalization of marijuana has contributed to an increase in the number of younger people living on the city's streets. * The Salvation Army's single men's shelter in Denver has been serving more homeless this summer, and officials have noted an increase in the number of 18- to 25-year-olds there. * Some of the homeless have felony backgrounds that prevent them from working in pot shops and grow houses, which are regulated by the state" -- " felony backgrounds that prevent them from working in pot shops and grow houses"? Hmmm... you'd think that since marijuana use/possession is now state legal that the state would expunge such prior records so people could apply for jobs..
---
Colorado and Washington states "legalizing" marijuana brings up an interesting aspect for Colorado/Washington college students who may get part time/summer time jobs in marijuana shops... how much will it cost them when they list their work experiences on their resume` they send in to corporate America?
---
Online story: "WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A federal judge on Saturday overturned Washington D.C.'s ban on carrying handguns outside the home, saying it was unconstitutional." -- Hmmm.. well, the law was unconstitutional in 1975... again in 2008... and remains so today. My next question is why doesn't Congress disband the Washington Council and just hire a City Manager to run the City by the Constitution?
---
Online headline: "Newsweek's anti-Obama cover story: Has the magazine lost all credibility?" -- Hmmm by mine, and most American opinins, Newsweek finally GAINED some credibility. That's not to say Newsweek is "credible" now, but it was a step in the right direction no matter how late it is to save the liberal's bastion of false "Hope and Change".
---
Aren't liberals as predictable as the are hypocritical? Massachusetts Gov.Patrick was surprised when illegal alien minors were brought into his state unannounced. The Gov, trying to be a Democrat "player" said they could be housed on the military base on Cape Cod. Cape Cod residents exploded in anger! . Just a bunch of leftist "nimbys"
---
With a tip from a fellow BCer - Online story: "Tens of thousands of unaccompanied immigrant children from Central America have been released to family or sponsors around the U.S. Between July 1 and 7, more than 30,000 were released to family or sponsors, which includes parents, relatives or family friends, according to the Los Angeles Times." -- Excuse me.. but were any of theses family members, or "sponsors" for that matter screened for American citizenship and criminal records?
---
WTVM9 News story: "Washington lawmakers passed a bill that could put money back in college students' pockets * The new bill would give students a tax credit – up to $2,500 a year – to help pay tuition and other school related expenses" -- Wait a minute.. "put money back in college students' pockets "? You mean "bribe" college students to vote for them.. Most students are there because their parents either pay for it or co-sign their loans.. if anyone deserves a "$2.500.00 break", it should either go directly to the parents or the loan company, but it's really nothing but wealth redistribution to keep excessive professors working.
---
Well, the teachers' unions are sending out teachers door-to-door this summer to drum up support for Democrats. You know, teachers would be better off if they actively support conservative/Republican candidates who are actually concerned about getting rid of millstone programs/regulations that interfere with teachers in the classrooms.
---
L-E headline/story: "TEEN DROWNS IN CHATTAHOOCHEE * Witnesses said the boy and other people were floating on their backs on the sunny afternoon when he was suddenly swept beneath the surface. * (Fire Marshal Ricky) Shores said. “The law requires if you are in the water, whether in a boat or swimming, you must have a personal flotation device." -- You know.. Mayor Obamalinson has gone out of her way to create "an attractive nuisance, an amusement park" along the banks of the Chattahoochee. Doesn't she bear more responsibility to insure it's safe, and well patrolled by enforcement personnel?
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "My elderly uncle believes Obama is a “Muslim Communist with no birth certificate.” He can attend family functions only if he leaves his politics at home." -- Hmmm.. sounds like there are more politics at this family member's home.
---
Best analogy in a L-E "soundoff" this year: "Your religion forbids consumption of pork? Luckily for you the Supreme Court says the government can’t make you buy it for your employees. They can buy it on their own, so everyone wins." -- what else can I add...
---
A very LIV's L-E "soundoff": " I wish the news media would do more to give us thorough, unbiased information about political candidates and their credentials, record, and platform. All we hear from the candidates themselves is a bunch of hogwash." -- These people should have their voter ID's pulled... it would keep them off the highways as well.. win-win.
---
Unabashedly lying LIV's L-E "soundoff": "I’m conservative and usually vote Republican, but I think it’s time to stick Kingston and Perdue in a playpen so they can continue their bickering, and send Michelle Nunn to Washington to represent all Georgians." -- The fact this guy/gal doesn't know the Democrat's actual name attests to the lie about his/her party affiliation. Even Michelle N. Martin's mother uses her married name, not her father's.
---
L-E story: "A day after a burglar ransacked her Garrard Street home, a 30-year-old woman fired 10 gunshots into her 2010 Jeep Wrangler late Friday to thwart a thief's attempt to steal the vehicle." -- You know.. "stand your ground" has become more important... and more evident... as courts do not carry out proper sentences. Prisoners released because of over crowding have lead to lighter sentences, incomplete sentences, and encouragement to new and recidivist felons.
---
L-E headline: "U.S. evacuates Libyan embassy amid growing unrest" -- Hmmm, hey Hillsbury DOUGHgirl... would this have made a difference in Benghazi!
---
L-E headline/story: "Bill Clinton to join Kentucky Democrat at rally * Clinton’s visit will be his second in support of Grimes, a Democrat who the daughter of longtime Clinton friend Jerry Lundergan." -- Hmmm.. bet everyone is wondering if she was ever an intern. Of note is that Elizabeth Warren has been there, but Hillsbury DOUGHgirl and the man-of-Steal haven't.
---
L-E story: " A spirited debate on gangster rap and a talent show highlighted activities Saturday at the Eight Annual Hip-Hop Summit at the Liberty Theatre Cultural Arts Center." -- Of interest, but not mentioned is how many attended, and that this was a project paid for with Public Safety LOST funds. Also not mentioned is the Project Rebound director's name is Jihad Aleem Hud., and a panel for discussion had no "gangstas" included.

HuffPost headline: "Clinton blames Vladimir Putin for MH17 crash * Hillary Clinton said the Russian president 'bears responsibility' in the downing of the Malaysia Airlines jet." -- Wanna bet Putin fires back Hillbury DOUGHgirl should "bare responsibility" for Benghazi?
---
Instant repeat: "Clinton blames Vladimir Putin for MH17 crash * Hillary Clinton said the Russian president 'bears responsibility' in the downing of the Malaysia Airlines jet." -- Hmmm,, bet it wasn't a "hard choice" for her to connect Putin & Where'sWaldObama as being "bears". Russia has been "cartoonized" as a fierce "bear", and the White House Secret Service refers to the president as "the bear".
---
Instant repeat: "Clinton blames Vladimir Putin for MH17 crash * Hillary Clinton said the Russian president 'bears responsibility' in the downing of the Malaysia Airlines jet." -- Wanna bet Putin fires back Hillbury DOUGHgirl should "bare responsibility" for Benghazi?
---
From the above story: "Her plan to 'stand up' to Putin" -- Hmmm... guess we'll have to wait on ever getting this..
---
I believe Webster needs a new picture in its dictionaries to show an example of "futility". I suggest it be John Kerry or Hillewinsky trying to broker a peace treaty between Israel & Hamas.
---
Flash! PETA says it will pay Detroit citizens' water bills IF they go veggan. Aside from many IRS violations of "charible organizations" fiduciary responsibilities, PET would have to issue 1099 forms, and what would be the long term effects? Once you start "feeding, or in this case, watering "the bears", "the bears" aren't going to like it when PETA stops "watering" them.
---
L-E story: "You may have heard the nation's Highway Trust Fund for repairing roads and bridges is about to go broke. That's because the tax used to pay for it -- the federal gas tax -- has been fixed at a flat rate of 18 cents per gallon for 20 years, going back to when gas cost only a buck a gallon. * In this case it's not just the Republicans. President Barack Obama didn't sign a pledge, but he did state unequivocally through two national campaigns that he would not raise taxes on the middle class ever ("not any of your taxes," he clarified). So he's against the gas tax, too." -- Hmmm, Government already "profits" more per gallon than the oil industry. Government already collects $120 BILLION in taxes for highway and bridge maintenance and construction annually, but cannot show where it all goes. If government wants more tax revenue, government should go after alternative fueled vehicles, even bicycles. Government could just say "well, it is a "green" thing".

---
Online story: " A street closure caused by President Barack Obama's motorcade delayed a pregnant woman's crossing of a Los Angeles street to get to a hospital, police said Thursday. * Police had closed off the street for the president's motorcade on Wednesday. * Unable to get across the street, the woman sat at a bus bench and two nurses, who also were waiting to cross the street, checked on her, Borihanh said. * The woman did not tell police at the scene of the street closure outside Cedars-Sinai Medical Center that she was in labor, said Los Angeles police spokesman Officer Bruce Borihanh." -- Police spokesperson said, "The woman did not tell police at the scene ...that she was in labor " ? You got to be kidding me.. Anyone know of a pregnant, in labor woman, who would not have "mentioned" a little detail like she was having labor pains? Is there anyone involved with Where'sWaldObama who even wants to tell the truth?

---
I just saw an incredible video.. a 6 year old, so talented and so flexible, that he "limbo-skates" under cars.. 39 SUVs to be exact (search YouTube for "limbo skating") He says his next goals are to "limbo-skate" under 100 cars, and go to the Olympics...Hmmm, women's softball got axed from the Olympics, but Olympics "got limbo skating"? Well, who thought the Olympics would classify Synchronized Swimming as a sport, much less Olympic sport, but it does. Of course I cannot figure out how Synchronized Swimming ever got a "Synchronized Individual Swimming: category.. that's still oxymoronic to me.

---
The tables... they are a-turning... In his re-election campaign, Wisconsin's Republican Governor, Scott "union breaker" Walker has brought out the fact that his opponent, daughter of Trek Bicycles founder, and former executive of the company, shipped all the potential manufacturing jobs to China, and she is a wealthy, "out-of-touch corporate executive who’s been busy amassing a fortune at the expense of the little people". Needless to say,, mainstream media is yelling "Foul"! Wait a minute.. mainstream media roasted Mitt Romney when Where'sWaldObama accused Romney of the same thing...

---
HuffPost story: "The United Nations has been pushing the U.S. to treat children arriving at the southern border from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador as refugees displaced by armed conflict. * The Obama administration is weighing giving refugee status * The officials cautioned that no final decision on the matter has been made and said the proposal is among a range of ideas the White House is considering. * Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina, speaking to reporters in Washington ahead of the Friday meeting at the White House, said he did not know about the plan." -- Something is amiss here... with all that is being reported by UN "officials" and White House "officials" you'd think our State Department would have issued "travel alerts", especially for teenaged travelers, but there is an open trail of kids doing mission work at clinics and medical centers in Guatamala. My daughter just returned from such a trip. Somebody is lying...again...

---
Oh! Mainstream media is extolling farmers' reception of Where'sWaldObama's "bee plan"... of course, we are are all waiting to hear whether or not it's the sequel to "Plan B from Outer Space", and its about stopping illegal alien bees from coming across the Mexican border.
---
L-E story: "President Barack Obama says a loophole that lets companies dodge U.S. taxes by moving their headquarters overseas is unpatriotic." -- Hmmm... wouldn't it be more patriotic if the man-of-Steal would stop making American businesses the object of his economic destruction plan?
---
You know, the above story reflects the difference between liberal and conservative attitudes... Businesses try to maximize their stakeholders' future investments and interests. The man-of-Steal does not care about American citizens stake and interest in America's future.
---
Online story: "Speaking at the Urban League conference in Cincinnati, Biden told a very surprised audience that he “should have had one Republican kid to go out and make money. * You know,” Biden continued, “so when they put me in a home, I get a window with a view. You know what I mean? But my daughter is a social worker.” -- Hmmm... you know, we should probably change the name of the Democratic Party to "The Pity Party". One of his other children is Delaware’s Attorney General, and the other is a lawyer who works for a Ukrainian gas company..
---
L-E story: " Jurors in murder suspect K***** L****’s retrial this August won’t see a tattoo prosecutors claim L*** got to “memorialize” the fatal 1992 stabbing of then-school superintendent Jim Burns, nor hear allegedly incriminating songs Lane composed years after the homicide. * Jurors in murder suspect K**** L***’s retrial this August won’t see a tattoo prosecutors claim Lane got to “memorialize” the fatal 1992 stabbing of then-school superintendent Jim Burns, nor hear allegedly incriminating songs L*** composed years after the homicide. * Judge Bobby Peters ruled case law allows tattoos into trial evidence only to identify a suspect" -- I generally agree wholeheartedly with Judge Peter's bench rulings, but I cannot do so on this one. Let the jury see what this is all about. The jury can rule whether it is pertinent to either side's arguments. Besides, a ruling like this could be used to challenge confessions, or other evidence (photos/recordings/ jail cell conversations) attained after an alleged criminal has been charged and court date set/started.
---
Random thought: What's worse.. policies that make American businesses want/have to ship jobs overseas, or policies that allow illegal aliens to take jobs away from American citizens?
---
Online story: "An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 struck on the coast of Alaska early on Friday, shaking people awake in the state capital city of Juneau but causing little, if any, damage" -- Hmmm... any chance we can get an earthquake in NYC and Los Angeles the day before the next elections that will wake up Democratic voters?
---
L-E story: "A group of Chattahoochee Valley citizens has launched a project to bring rowing to the placid stretch of the river just south of the more raucous whitewater course. * Chattahoochee Rowing Ltd., spearheaded by local businessman Mike Milligan, has approached the city, proposing a public-private partnership that would establish a rowing course between the Iron Works Convention and Trade Center and Rotary Park, where boat houses would make up the heart of the project."{ -- Now this is an activity that warrants government support. Not sure about the year (but 1993-94-95 come to mind) but there was rowing event held at the very spot mentioned. I went as I had already experienced watching my niece participate in the 1992 "Head of the Charles" crewing event as a member of the Stanford U "women's 8" team. This form of river activity far excels the whitewater/zipline businesses our Council has abused our tax dollars with. Crew competition creates a wonderful way to monitor the health and beauty of the Chattahoochee. The river banks will stay cleaner from participants who value the natural beauty of the Chattahoochee. This cannot be said from people seeking gratuitous thrills of the moment.

I just found out we have a V A Clinic in town. It's at the intersection, well, close to it, of 13th Ave & 13th St. Of course the hours it's open are not conductive to being "full service". It's open only from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday- Friday..hardly supportive of our Vets' needs. How many private hospitals, even Urgent Care facilities, close on evenings and weekends?
---
It's "suggested" that 75% of the minors crossing our border with Mexico are from Honduras, Guatamal and El Salvador. Question..why isn' t the UN holding the Mexican government responsible for these "refrugees"?
---
L-E's " Thought for Today, “A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.” — George Bernard Shaw (born this date in 1856, died 1950)." -- Hmmm... and like every rule.. there is an exception... America's is electing the Mosqued-man..at all.
---
L-E headline: " U.S. ACCUSES RUSSIA OF FIRING ACROSS BORDER INTO UKRAINE" -- The man-of-Steal obviously has dropped his challenge about other's crossing 'the line' he's drawn in the sand. It sounds better if they crossed "the border".. hmmm much like the "line" between us and Mexico.

HuffPost story: "Three Americans, including a reporter for The Washington Post, appear to have been detained in Iran, the newspaper said Thursday. * The other two Americans, who have not yet been identified, work as freelance photojournalists." -- Good grief.. or,...as Forrest Gump might add, "Stupid is as stupid does." Hey... here's a win-win swap for everybody's good! The Mosqued man, Bleep Veep Biden-my-time, and Dingy Harry for ...no, and Iran can keep the 3 liberal reporters as well.
---
HuffPost headline: "Elizabeth Warren Continues To Push Back On 2016 Rumors: 'No Means No' - Excuse me, but who actually wants Elizabeth Warren as a presidential candidate? The only thing I can surmise if that Hillewinsky is not the overwhelming choice of the DNC, and Bleep Veep Biden-my-time is not even a consideration.
---
I'm about tired of the liberal rants about the Supreme Court's "Hobby Lobby" decision. You know, why is it that the most outspoken protestors aren't wondering why their mothers allowed them to be born? I also wonder if their mothers are wondering the same thing.
---
Online story: "WUXI VILLAGE, China (AP) - The battle started when a government-hired crew tore down the metal cross atop the one-room church in this village surrounded by rice paddies last month. * The next day, a church member used his own welding torch to put it back. * A week later, the crew came back to remove the cross. * Once again, church members put it back up, now tattered and a little shorter. * The church has had its water and electricity cut off. * authorities have toppled - or threatened to topple - crosses at more than 130 churches. In a few cases, the government has even razed sanctuaries." -- Wonder how soon it will be before the Mosqued man sends in a team to study the Chinese government policies?
---
Online story: "DARBY, Pa. (AP) - A doctor grazed by gunfire from a patient who had entered his office in a suburban hospital's psychiatric unit stopped him by returning fire with his own gun and injuring him, authorities said. * The patient, who had psychiatric problems, opened fire after entering the doctor's office with a caseworker Thursday afternoon, Whelan said. The caseworker was killed. * Investigators believe the doctor had his own gun and acted in self-defense, District Attorney Jack Whelan said." -- In a word.... "YES!". Now we have to keep our fingers crossed the US Attorney General Pric Holder doesn't step in and challenge any "stand your ground" PA laws.
---
You know.. the most ardent supporters of raising the minimum wage are Democrats... particularly Democratic Party politicians. Now if Democratic Party politicians were really concerned about fair/living wages, they should be more focused on not causing inflation. Inflation devalues all wages.
---
HuffPost story: "When star Eric Stonestreet joined HuffPost Live's Caitlyn Becker on Wednesday to discuss a series of videos he made for Swiffer, he talked with a fan about the show's impact and what it means to him. * "President Obama mentioned in an interview like three weeks ago, just casually, that Michelle and the kids watch Mitch and Cam and they're in tears," Stonestreet said. " -- Hmmm.. how come Where'sWaldObama knows what his wife and kids are watching but doesn't know what's going on at the IRS, the VA, the DOJ, Benghazi, or the Gaza Strip?
---
Online story: " Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice received a two-game suspension from the NFL on Thursday following his offseason arrest for domestic violence" -- Hmmm ... wonder how long it will be before the NFL imposes personal foul penalties of "15 yards AND a two game suspension" for violence?

Hey.. I know how we can help the Middle-East return to peace.. let's send Senator Diane Feinstein, D-CA, over there to initiate new and stiffer gun control laws! Shoot, every liberal knows that will work.
---
HuffPost headline: "Terrifying new tyrannosaurus fact revealed * A series of footprints sparks a controversial new theory about how the prehistoric apex predators hunted their prey." -- Hmmm.. now I know to avoid a pack of T-Rexes the next time I take a walk in the woods. Wonder what piece of pertinent info will be knocked out of the Common Core curriculum so this tidbit can be included?

HuffPost story: " President Barack Obama is tapping into growing misgivings about tax-driven overseas mergers by U.S. corporations, issuing a new call to end the practice quickly and questioning the patriotism and citizenship of those companies. * The push comes amid a developing trend by companies to reorganize with foreign entities partly to reduce their tax payments in the U.S." -- "questioning the patriotism and citizenship of those companies"? Good grief.. Where'sWaldObama created doubts of the authenticity of his own citizenship, refuses to allow states to require proof of citizenship for voters, wants the US to be under UN/World law, and now questions the citizenship of American companies? Who is this Mosqued man?
---
Online headline/story: "Where’s the media outrage? Democratic senator’s daughter uses maneuver to avoid US corporate taxes * The latest case in point is Sen. Joe Manchin. But the West Virginia Democrat finds himself in the uncomfortable position of opposing what his own daughter did. * Manchin’s daughter is Heather Bresch, the CEO of a generic drug firm called Mylan that makes big bucks from Medicare and Medicaid. * Last week, the company announced that it was renouncing its status as an American company and would be incorporated in the Netherlands. In other words, it would still be a U.S. company and milk the U.S. market, but avoid a whole lot of taxes." -- You know.. the Mosqued man questions the citizenship and patriotism of American corporations in one speech, and will campaign for the Senator of another corporation he's just chastised. Who is this Mosqued man?
---
Online headline/story: "Major Gun Manufacturer Taking $45 Million Investment, 300 Jobs to Tennessee Over Fear of Gun Control * Beretta U.S.A. Corp. announced on Tuesday that it plans to move its entire U.S. manufacturing operation from its current location in Accokeek, Maryland, to Gallatin, Tennessee, due to a fear of gun control legislation that may pass the Maryland Legislature in the future." -- I may just have a heart attack from ROFLMAO at the ineptness of this administration. Corporations are denouncing their "citizenship" to pay less exorbitant taxes, and moving to other states to avoid business... no, actually job-killing-legislation in Democratic Party controlled states.
---
Online story: "An influential federal appeals court judge, Chief Judge Alex Kozinski of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, said Thursday that the nation's third lethal injection execution to go awry in six months underscores his call to bring back firing squads." -- Hmmm, I disagree with the judge about the executions "going awry" as they were successfully carried out, but.... BUT now we know why DHS is buying up all the ammo on the civilian market, and why Pric Holder is giving away our guns to Mexico...
---
Online story: "MIAMI (AP) - A fungus carried by an invasive beetle from southeast Asia is felling trees across the Everglades, and experts have not found a way to stop the blight from spreading." -- Hmmm.. and guess what.. those beetles from southeast Asia are illegal aliens that weren't stopped from crossing our borders.
---
From the "how does this happen" department - While 1000's of illegal minors are crossing our southern border at will, a group of Boy Scouts (all minors by requirements) from Iowa were stopped trying to cross back into Alaska from Canada by US border guards.. and at gunpoint as well. I guess our border patrol is skeptical of uniformed crossers armed with pocket/camping knives and valid US passports.
---
HuffPost story: "Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) on Thursday unveiled a new, highly anticipated proposal to fight poverty. * The big idea in Ryan's plan would be to consolidate most of the federal government's anti-poverty programs, such as food stamps and housing vouchers, into one program that states could oversee and coordinate more closely." -- Whoa... doesn't this sound exactly like the idea I mention for our Council to make the 6 "Public Safety LOST tax" grants to the groups that the programs they presented were to help eliminate teen pregnancy, truancy and delinquency? You know, to put them all in a room and come up with one "organization" with less administrative overhead?
---
Online story: "SAN FRANCISCO, July 23 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama has sent a team to Texas to assess whether a U.S. National Guard deployment would help to handle an immigration crisis at the Mexican border, White House officials told Reuters on Wednesday, having so far resisted Republican calls for such a move. * The officials said the federal team would study whether such a role would be useful and make recommendations upon its return. * "There's no foregone conclusion," another official said." -- Whoa! This is nothing but another delaying tactic.. Governor Perry.. do yo thing.. to hell with Mexico's objections to having soldiers there who will shoot back!
---
It's almost ironic that minor illegal aliens can walk across our border from Mexico, but a fully trained, fully armed U.S.Marine can't.
---
HuffPost headline: "Columbus Mayor to Democrats: Have Convention Here or Lose" -- Ooops, my bad,,, well, it did sound like a pompous claim Mayor Obamalinson would make.. and we will have a $244K bathroom on the tour route.... Of course, the fact is even if Ohio's 18 Electoral votes had gone to Romney, Where'sWaldObama would have won anyway, but what do facts mean to mainstream media?
---
Online story: "The State Department's global database for issuing travel documents has crashed, resulting in major delays for potentially millions of people around the world waiting for U.S. passports and visas, officials said Wednesday." -- On the other hand.. maybe we can ground John Kerry before he does any further damage to out nation's world wide image.
---
L-E headline: "What jihadists are doing in Syria and Iraq while Gaza grabs the headlines" -- Hmm, guess the Leftist-Enquirer doesn't like a story about a country standing up against terrorist from Muslim countries...and the country standing up against them is winning!
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "The President may be inept, arrogant and in some ways corrupt. However. he is a vast improvement in all three departments over George W. Bush." -- You know.. ignorance is its own penalty .. yes, I agree Where'sWaldObama is more inept, more arrogant, and more corrupt than George W. Bush...
---
Those legal ads ..the ones "fishing" for clients who have had mesothelioma or had a loved one die from birth control..you know the ones...well...maybe the FCC should require those ads to disclose how much a client might receive and how much the lawyers' cut will be.
---
Online headline: "Feds spending $10 million to build robot companions for children" -- Ooops, my bad.. thought Where'sWaldObama was going to give one to each illegal alien minor in Central America to guide them through Mexico to our border.
---
You know. Since Lois Lerner told the Congressional Committee that she was completely innocent, why doesn't she help prove that to Congress and America.... that she actually is willing to talk about her job and e-mails.. If she is as innocent as a new born baby, you'd think she would want to prove it.
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Six years ago the Social Security Administration embarked on an aggressive plan to replace outdated computer systems overwhelmed by a growing flood of disability claims. Nearly $300 million later, the new system is nowhere near ready and agency officials are struggling to salvage a project racked by delays and mismanagement, according to an internal report commissioned by the agency." -- Sounds like a clean up job for the OObamaCRAP programmers.. maybe even put Lois Lerner in charge of back-up files.. Good grief.. Where'sWaldObama is going to have more asterisks by his legacy than the rest of the presidents together.
---
L-E headline: "U.S. airlines to resume flights to Israel" -- Oooops, my bad.. thought the Mosqued man was sending in help.

It's nice to read about promotions within our school systems, but unfortunately, it seems the emphasis is on the job, not the opportunity.

L-E headline/story: "Columbus High's Al Jones picked for two all-star games * Al Jones, Jr., will be playing in two national all-star games in August * ..the Perfect Game All-American Classic -- in San Diego (and)
the Under Armour All-American baseball game.. in Chicago. * (Jones) "is a 5-foot-10, 192-pound switch-hitter and has committed to Vanderbilt" -- Wow! While this is about a local student/athlete, it's world-wide in importance. Frank "Big Hurt" Thomas is not the only athletic role model that shines in Columbus, GA. To be the only one chosen for two different elite events...and this is on top of being recruited by Vanderbilt. This young man should be the poster child for all our high schools.
---
L-E "headlie": "How did the Arizona execution go wrong?" -- DOH! It didn't! The (_*_) is dead, and forensic experts say what occurred was basically "normal" with all the hoops that states must jump through to carry out a death sentence. If libs are upset about, then they should support older, quicker methods... like hangings, firing squads and electric chairs. I'm not opposed to cyanide capsules either.
---
L-E headline/story: "Project Rebound to host 8th Annual Hip Hop Summit * Event teaches youth how to use talents to benefit the community * This year’s summit will be a special tribute to the late Tupac Shakur, the famous actor and rapper killed in a 1996 drive-by shooting. * “We are analyzing Tupac Shakur’s impact on hip-hop because Tupac had many different sides to him,” said J. Aleem Hud, executive director of Project Rebound Inc. “Many people don’t realize that Tupac was also chairman of the New Afrikan Panther Party." -- Wow.. it does sound like Tupac has a lot to offer Columbus youth... NOT! A victim of drive-by shooting highlighted by an ED named Jihad Aleem Hud. Why are local charities and Council supporting this organization?

What is it with Mexican officials chastising America for wanting to control the flood of illegal aliens. If Mexican officials got their act together, its citizens would be happy there.

HuffPost "headlie"/story: "AP reporter's account of botched execution * FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) -- J*****h R***lph W**d looked around the death chamber and glanced at the doctors as they made preparations for his execution, locating the proper veins and inserting two lines into his arms. * Officials administered the lethal drugs at 1:52 p.m. W**d's eyes close * W**d's jaw dropped, his chest expanded, and he let out a gasp. The gasps repeated every five to 12 seconds. He could be heard snoring loudly when an administrator turned on a microphone to inform the gallery that W**d was still sedated, despite the audible sounds. * It took one hour and 57 minutes for the execution to be completed, and W**d was gasping for more than an hour and a half of that time * " -- Now what was botched? Just liberal bias. The guy brutally murdered two people.. a father and daughter 25 years ago, and has been a drain on taxpayer resources since. So what if he didn't die instantly.. I'd like video to "go viral"... maybe it would stop some other murder.
---
Other side of the story from above: "W**d was convicted of murdering Debbie Dietz and her father, Gene Dietz, in 1989 at a Tucson auto repair shop. Minutes after the execution, the victims' family members spoke to the media. * "What I saw today with him being executed, it is nothing compared to what happened on Aug. 7, 1989," said Debbie Dietz's sister, Jeanne Brown. "What's excruciating is seeing your father lying there in a pool of blood, seeing your sister lying in a pool of blood." * Her husband, Richard Brown, had a similar thought. * "This man conducted a horrifying murder and you guys are going, `let's worry about the drugs,'" said Richard Brown. "Why didn't they give him a bullet? Why didn't we give him Drano?" * About an hour and a half after the execution, Gov. Jan Brewer said she had ordered the Corrections Department to conduct a full review of the process. She added that she believed Wood "died in a lawful manner, and by eyewitness and medical accounts he did not suffer." * "This is in stark comparison to the gruesome, vicious suffering that he inflicted on his two victims - and the lifetime of suffering he has caused their family," Brewer said." -- Hmmm... HuffPost's headline should have been: "One giant step for mankind; Another one bites the dust!".
---
L-E story: "In March, police in Birmingham, Ala., approached a pastor who was handing out hot dogs and bottled water to homeless people living beneath a viaduct. He had to stop, police said, because he didn't have a food truck permit. * Two Los Angeles City Council members introduced an ordinance last year to ban public feeding of the homeless. Residents complained that their neighborhoods were becoming squatting grounds after meal times. Handing out food without addressing the root causes of homelessness was an ineffective response to the problem, the residents argued * Chicago has had similar vexation with its homeless population. Last summer, a city alderman ordered a Salvation Army food truck to stop feeding people in his ward. He said the homeless were becoming dependent on the truck and swarming to his community from other areas." -- Hmmm.. looks like liberal mayors want an exclusive on "compassion". Guess they are afraid the homeless might stop voting for Democrat handouts if the homeless get used to better foods and a conservative 'hand up'....
---
L-E story: "In second year, Chattahoochee course could see 20,000 rafters" -- Hmmm.. let's do some math - Say high priced "runs" are 75% of that 20,000 and 25% are the "jr edition". OK the basic prices for the big runs are $46.50 and the mild run is $32.50 and the "fee" is .035%. Total "fees" collected will be around $30,100.00 and that will be split between Columbus and Phenix City governments. In the past year, Columbus has paid $1,900,000.00 to fix the river bank damages, and Phenix City has spent about $600,000.00 on an exit location for rafters, (this is over and beyond the millions Columbus & Phenix City taxdollars that went in before completion). That's about $2,500,000.00 taxdollars spent on maintaining the whitewater course that the operator hasn't contributed anything. If our Councils do not spend anything else for the next 8 years, the fees collected (at $30,100.00 Anually) will still come up short nearly $100,000.00 over those 8 years to being revenue neutral for the taxpayers. Of course, that doesn't include any safety or daily maintenance expenses caused by the "business" that isn't paying anything.

Online story: "For some inexplicable – and hilarious – reason, Barack Obama likes to refer to himself as “The Bear.” “The Bear is Loose” has been tweeted by the White House several times when Obama, who is rumored to be “bored” and “restless,” trots out for a burger or a beer, or simply to press the flesh with adoring fans. * Former Secret Service Agent, and current Maryland Republican candidate for Congress, Dan Bongino pretty much defined why "The Bear" is such an apt reference bname for Where'sWaoldobama. He "tweeted: "It's actually quite appropriate that the President calls himself "The Bear" being that he has hibernated throughout his presidency." -- Hmmm How can I add to that summation?
---
Whoa... Our Secretary of State, John Kerry had a strategic meeting with the Egyptian president, but before Egyptian security would let Kerry in, the security team scanned Kerry with a metal detector. Wow! I guess since Kerry is the messenger for the Mosqued man, Egypt knows not trust anybody associated with Where'sWaldobama.
---
Hmmm, no one has come forward to claim they pulled off the white flag swap out on the Brooklyn Bridge. Wonder if they would come forward if we set up a "legal defense fund" to take care of whatever offenses NYC tries to charge them with?
---
Isn't it a bit hypocritical for the IRS czar to stop looking for Lois Lerner's (et al) missing e-mail, but demanding citizens to keep files, hard copy or electronic, for 7 years?

Online story: "Undercover government investigators were able to obtain thousands of dollars in taxpayer subsidies under ObamaCare using fake identities, according to findings presented to Congress on Wednesday. * In the case of the GAO investigation, 11 out of 12 applications submitted using "fictitious identities" were accepted, resulting in subsidized health coverage. * "For each of our 11 approved applications, we paid the required premiums to put policies into force, and are continuing to pay the premiums. * According to the GAO, the total amount for these credits was $2,500 monthly, adding up to $30,000 a year * The administration pointed out that six of the GAO's fake online applications were blocked by eligibility checks built into computer systems at HealthCare.gov. Still, the GAO says its undercover agents found a way around that by phoning the call centers and were able to enroll anyway. * The GAO said its investigators concocted fake identities using invalid Social Security numbers and falsely claiming citizenship or legal residence. In other cases, they made up income figures that would disqualify them from getting subsidies." -- Good grief!...and this was before the Supreme Court rulings on the feds giving subsidies!

Online headline: "Apollo 11's scariest moments: perils of the 1st manned moon landing" -- Hey.. this wasn't the only scary moment or "secret" of the Apollo 11 landing that night. My sister was a programmer at MIT-NASA for this event. She and two others got calls that night saying they had 117 minutes to get back to MIT-NASA and rewrite the landing codes for the Eagle. The current landing projections would have put the Eagle landing in a shadowed and rocky area of the moon and without radio contact with Houston. The 117 minute dead line was based on that was all the spare fuel they had to get back. My sister's program was the one used to make the corrections to the orbit path. Proud of my sister today as well.

WTVM9 story: "The College Career Ready Performance Index or CCRPI starts measuring students in kindergarten and follows them to their senior year of high school, determining how well-equipped they are to succeed in higher education and finding a good job. * According to the study, Muscogee County high school students are trailing the state average by more than a percentage point. Middle school students are doing slightly worse, at about five and a half points below the Georgia average, and elementary students are about fifteen points behind." -- You know... the MCSD board should hire a research team to go out and find teachers and administrators from schools that students make test scores in the upper 1-to-10% and recruit them as replacements for Columbus teachers/administrators bringing up the rear in local testing.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " I sat with a broken down vehicle on J.R. Allen Parkway and Flat Rock Road for one hour and 45 minutes. Not one person offered help, including the four police cars that rode by and looked at me. Great city, Columbus!" -- Hmmm... don't tell me the only person in a 50 mile area who doesn't have a cellphone was right here amongst us... I'll bet one thing that this "soundoffer" didn't do was get out, raise the hood of the car, and turn on the emergency flashers.. I do believe no police officer would have driven by without assisting.
---
You know.. every story, every situation has "two sides".. I'm just worn out with Where'sWaldobama and his minions giving both from opposite sides of their mouths.
---
L-E story: "The U.S. Department of Transportation on Wednesday proposed a two-year phaseout of older railroad tank cars used to transport crude oil, which have been involved in several serious derailments over the past year. * Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx outlined the long-anticipated proposals more than a year after a deadly derailment in Quebec focused government and public scrutiny on the rising volumes of crude oil shipped by train." -- "after a deadly derailment in Quebec "? Is this what Where'sWaldobama's strategy has been about.. swapping our government for Canada's?
---
L-E's "Quotable": “A writer should write with his eyes and a painter paint with his ears.” - Gertrude Stein American author (1874-1946)" -- Ooops my bad.. thought she meant Hillsbury DOUGHgirl should open her eyes, and painters would be better if they looked like Ross Perot...
---
L-E story: " Montana Sen. John Walsh’s thesis written to earn a master’s degree from the U.S. Army War College contains unattributed passages taken word-for-word from previously published papers. * The Democrat is running against Republican Rep. Steve Daines to keep the seat Walsh was appointed to in February when Max Baucus resigned to become U.S. ambassador to China, and national Democrats said Wednesday they remained “100 percent behind Sen. Walsh.” * All six of the recommendations that Walsh lists at the end of his paper are taken nearly word-for-wordwithout attribution from a Carnegie paper written by Carothers and three other scholars at the institute. * One section of the paper is nearly identical to about 600 words from a 1998 paper by Sean Lynn-Jones, a scholar at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, a research institute at Harvard." -- You know.. Walsh is indeed the perfect Democratic Party candidate.. he's already shown he's willing to repeat what the Democratic Party 'line' is on any issue.
---
L-E headline: "White House working on new birth control insurance rule" -- You know, if "abstinence" or 'no ' were taught in Sex Ed, and movies showing non-marital sexual scenes/innuendo were rated RR-21 or over, a lot of single/teen pregnancies wouldn't be an issue... and that's free.
---
If there's one thing Mark Richt does well, it's to stand firm on team rules, and hold his players responsible. Another potential star has been dismissed. Unfortunately, some other coach will offer him a place to play. The NCAA should grab this opportunity by the hand quickly and impose a participation ban for two seasons, and elimination of any "red-shirt" proviso. And the NCAA needs to do it quickly .. both to beat any union situation, and to keep unscrupulous coaches/boosters from using dismissals as a way to change teams once they've signed scholarships.

From the Jon Lovitz "oh yeah, that's the ticket" department - HuffPost "story" -- Senior U.S. intelligence officials said Tuesday that Russia was responsible for "creating the conditions" that led to the shooting down of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, but they offered no evidence of direct Russian government involvement." -- "creating the conditions"? Good grief! Hmmm... on the other hand, the Mosqued man may have just given mainstream media and liberals "the hook" for impeachment. Who can deny that this Administrative confabulation is guilty of "creating the conditions" for Benghazi, IRS, VA, 'fast&furious', Tali-bergdahl's swap, Tahmooressi's abandonment, OObamaCRAP, et al?
---
L-E headline: "Thomas beats Wells in school board runoff" -- Wow! 4-to-1 LANDSLIDE! You know, if John Wells' "record" had been worthy, there wouldn't have been credible opposition to begin with. He should have dropped out of the runoff and left with some dignity.
---
I think I know how to stop Where'sWaldobama from going to fundraisers rather than to his office .. Draw a red line in front of the fundraising door and he won't cross it.
---
From the "bs" department - Doc Rivers, coach of the LA Crippers say he'll "quit" if the team isn't sold. Good grief.. the NBA has already announced it will pull the trigger on the "death clause" so whether or not the current sales transaction goes through or not, the LA Crippers will be sold, so Rivers' point is moot, grandstanding, and probably a bit racist in itself. Personally, if I were interested in buying the team, I think I'd send Rivers a message to go ahead and clean out his office.
---
Online story: "NEW YORK (AP) - Police are searching for four or five people they believe scaled to the top of the Brooklyn Bridge's two towers in the dead of night, disabled lights illuminating two large American flags and then replaced the flags with bleached-white ones. * The security breach at one of the city's most secured landmarks didn't appear to be the work of terrorists or even a political statement, said the police department's deputy commissioner for counterterrorism and intelligence, but was likely done by people familiar with climbing or bridgework who may even have scaled the bridge before. * "We don't take these things lightly, or as a joke, or as art or within the realm of speech," John Miller said. "These are issues of trespass - they put themselves in danger, they put others in danger - and that's why we investigate it." -- "We don't take these things lightly, or as a joke, or as art or within the realm of speech"?.. Hmmm, what's obvious is that the NYPD didn't take security seriously....On the other hand.. the Democratic Party in NYC better watch out... this was probably a few Democratic Party "Borough captains" putting up the white surrender flags for the November election.
---
Online headline/story: "Detroit pensioners approve bankruptcy haircut in landslide * In a vote announced last night, 73% of civilian city pensioners said they would accept a plan that would dock their monthly checks by 4.5% and eliminate the annual cost-of-living-adjustment to those checks." -- Hmmm.. how noble and self-sacrificing... NOT!!! If you were faced with trying to save a pension check from the city you helped drive into a bankruptcy abyss, you'd take "a cut" versus being "cut off".
---
Online story follow-up: "HELENA, Mont. (AP) - The Montana Supreme Court on Tuesday will publicly reprimand a judge who gave a lenient sentence to a rapist after suggesting the 14-year-old victim shared some of the responsibility for the crime. * The censure is a public declaration by the high court that a judge is guilty of misconduct. The rarely used punishment was recommended by the state's Judicial Standards Commission, which investigated complaints into the comments Judge Baugh made during Stacey Dean
R(_*_)bolds's sentencing last year. * Judge Baugh said, " that the teenager was "probably as much in control of the situation as the defendant" and that she "appeared older than her chronological age.""* Baugh sent R********* to prison for 30 days last year after he pleaded guilty to sexual intercourse without consent. * R********* was a 47-year-old business teacher at Billings Senior High School at the time of the 2007 rape. The victim was one of his students. She committed suicide while the case was pending trial." -- The judge said that the teenager was "probably as much in control of the situation as the defendant" and that she "appeared older than her chronological age."? The girl's family can not be compensated enough...

MLB is considering outlawing "defensive shifts" as a manager's option for certain batters who have been tracked to hitting a baseball to certain areas. MLB thinks it will put more runs on the board and that will make the game better. Good grief... some of the best games are 1-0 pitchers' duels with great offensive/defensive maneuvers called by the managers. MLB just thinks more runs will attract more TV audience. What's next for the MLB rules.. tethering outfielders to a stake with limited roaming area? Oh! How about removing an outfielder when the batter has less than 10 home runs.. or put a blindfold on the first baseman when a groundball hitter is at the plate. Leave the game alone, MLB!
---
Online headline: "Botox is being studied as a potential depression treatment." -- Well.. the AMA will be able to get a genuine test of its theory in the spring/summer of 2016. That's when Bleep Veep Biden-my-time will find out the Democratic Party is not interested in him being the 2016 nominee for president, and will get to see whether his head pops like a big zit.
---
Online story: In an interview with NPR's "Morning Edition", Marco Rubio said that Clinton is "a 20th century candidate" who "does not offer an agenda for moving America forward in the 21st century * The point Rubio is driving at is that Clinton is politics past, not politics future -- that her ideas might work well back in the 1990s when her husband was president but that times have changed since then and the Clintons have not changed with them." -- Heh heh heh.. hey, maybe we ought to make Marco Rubio our next Secretary of State.. he's obviously a wordsmith and diplomatic. He called Hillary "old" and mainstream media didn't catch it.
HuffPost story: "Agnes McKee of Oceanside, California, turned 105 years old last week, U-T San Diego reported. To celebrate, she threw out the ceremonial first pitch at San Diego's Petco Park on Sunday -- becoming the oldest person to ever do so at a Padres game, according to MLB.com." -- Hmmm.. wanna bet Hillary will top that in 2053 as she continues her ongoing quest to be elected president?
---
HuffPost headline": "Two Republican Judges Gut Obamacare, Threatening Health Care For Millions" -- Hmm .. Republican judges... do you ever recall the HuffPost calling the judges of liberal decisions "Democratic Party judges"? Fact is, the judges only pointed out what the Democrats wrote into OObamaCRAP laws. Republicans didn't even have a chance to read what the Democrats rammed through when they had super-majorities in both legislative chambers.
---
Those 8,000,000 who signed up on OObamaCRAP.gov and got subsidies...Supreme Court says those subsidies are illegal. A Democrat wrote that clause. You know, maybe Nancy Pelosi wishes someone in her party had read that clause.

You know..that poll of top 30 barbeque places that listed half of them in NY, ILL, and CAL was sorta bothersome until I remembered it was a poll by an online reservation service. Anyway, who eats barbeque at a restaurant that takes reservations?

Online story: "PHOENIX — The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday knocked down a stay of execution for Arizona Death Row prisoner Joseph W***, who is scheduled to be put to death Wednesday morning at the Arizona State Prison Complex-Florence. * W*** 55, was sentenced to death for killing his girlfriend and her father in Tucson in 1989." -- May justice finally move quickly.. before W***'s stupid lawyers file an appeal with District 9 based on how "cruel and unusual" it is to have made their client eat prison food for the past 25 years.

You know...I am concerned about illegal aliens being supported by our tax dollars, but it's the tax dollars we spend on legal American entitlements that are draining our economy.
---
There's an insurance ad talking about a man having a $40K new car that gets clobbered and his own insurance company won't fork up by $37K... depreciation..Had an experience like this years ago with an uninsured driver doing major damage to my car 3 month old car with 1300 miles on it. Damage was 40% of value. Adjuster offered to either give me a check with 20% depreciation, or fix it. Went by the dealer and inquired how it would affect my 5 year warranty. Dealer said replacement parts would be covered but 90 days, and other parts warranty could be denied because of wreck. Went back to adjuster, told them to fix my car, but they would have to write out a separate warranty to cover warranty work for the next 4 years/9 months. Adjusters looked at each other and asked if I would take a check for the full amount less 5¢ a mile for the 1300 miles driven. I got a check for the full amount less the $65.00. There's always an Achilles heel.

Offer via unsolicited e-mail: "See Government Grants You Qualify For with NO REPAYMENT! " -- Will someone pass this along to our Councilors to show them what "grants are about? Well, they don't seem to understand that "non-repayable grants" are just redistibution of tax dollars we've already had stolen without a plan to begin with. No need to send it to Mayor Obamalinson... she knows already.
---
I'm tickled at David Perdue winning the Republican runoff against Jack Kingston.. I wouldn't have been displeased if Kingston won.. he's been a pretty good representative for GA in the past, and hope he'll run again for Congress or against Isakson next primary.. but..Perdue is who we need in this race. Perdue will motivate the conservative independent voters to go to the polls, and they will support Republican candidates in other races statewide.

LIV's L-E "soundoff": "This should have been on the front page instead of buried on C6: U.S. records $71 billion surplus in June, putting it on track to record the lowest annual deficit since 2008. You go Obama!" -- Good grief.. now we see the harm public education has created with math failures over the past 40 tears. What cutbacks are being made in budgets are at the expense of our military which means we taxpayers are at greater risk. The only "measure" of the Mosqued man's term in office is the National Debt, and he's about buried us in it.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Ironically, the atheist acts more like Jesus preached than the so-called Christians." -- Huh? I thought Jesus preached for us to believe in him as our savior.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Republicans always think America should have the largest defense program, but then they think corporations and the 1 percent shouldn’t pay taxes." -- Is there a full moon out? The so called "1%" pay more than the 47% that vote Democrat and get income tax refunds via "unearned incometax credits" on taxes they haven't paid.

From the L-E's "Thought for Today": “To be proud and inaccessible is to be timid and weak.” — Jean Baptiste Massillon, French clergyman (1663-1742)." -- Wow! Did this guy just nail Where'sWaldobama from his grave!
---
L-E's "Looking back | Fifty years ago today, July 23, 1964": "Four of the state’s highest elective officials — all lifelong Democrats — have asked that their names not be included in the list of Georgia delegates to the national party convention at Atlantic City next month, informed sources disclosed Wednesday." -- Hmmm, the old guys do rock. Wonder how many Democrats up for re-election this November are doing the same thing?
---
L-E's "Quotable": “No one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of it to anyone else.” - Charles Dickens British author (1812-1870)" -- Chalk up another one for the old guys! What's that make Where'sWaldobama since he's a burden for everyone outside his administration?

L-E headline/story: "BLACK COLLEGES FACE HARD CHOICES ON $25M KOCH GIFT * America’s black colleges are struggling for funds. The Republican Party is struggling to attract black voters. * Enter a $25 million gift to the United Negro College Fund from the conservative Koch brothers, which has pitted the needs of black students against liberals’ insistence that the Kochs are pursuing a racist political agenda." -- Reminds me of another politically incorrect joke punchline on a dilemna: "Free Ham". The Black Colleges should graciously accept this.. after all, they unconcernedly accept conservatives money collected in taxes and given as government grants from liberals.

Another "John Lovitz 'that's the ticket' moment" - L-E headline/story: "TO FIGHT CRIME, CHICAGO TRIES WIPING AWAY MINOR ARRESTS * CHICAGO — Desperate to curb the gun violence wracking their city, Chicago lawmakers are leading the way toward a counterintuitive idea — fighting crime by making it easier for young people to wipe away minor arrest records." -- Yeah, erase the past to make the crime rates look better... erase the past so juries want have the records of past criminal activities...

L-E story: " NEW YORK — Experimentation with human growth hormones by America’s teens more than doubled in the past year, as more young people looked to drugs to boost their athletic performance and improve their looks, according to a new, large-scale national survey." -- Doh! With the job market as it is, and the lack of educational tools to write on their job applications, even the suburban school kids are looking to sports and entertainment as a career path, and it's just as available as other street drugs..

L-E headline/story: "Once again, Columbus Council delays vote on Manchester Overlay District * Two weeks ago when it was delayed the first time, Councilor Mike Baker said he needed more time to understand the ramifications of the proposal. On Tuesday, there was no comment from any councilor, only a 9-0 vote to delay making a decision. Councilor Red McDaniel was absent from the meeting. * The ordinance would establish guidelines for landscaping, signage, building materials, location and amount of parking and other aspects to “effectively enhance the city’s image as a desirable place to live, work and shop.” -- Good grief.. from the Council who is bring us a $244K dollar bathroom to "6 Heads over the Chattahoochee RiverWalk", do we really want to trust them landscaping and building supervisors over the future "best growth
area of Columbus?

L-E headline: "WHY THE U.S. COULD DIP INTO RECESSION" -- Hmmm... I think I can answer that in one word... liberalism.
