Online story: "NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Vice President Joe Biden on Friday condemned the political gridlock crippling Washington, calling on Republican and Democratic governors alike to lead the nation "out of this mess" while insisting that Congress approve billions of dollars to repair the country's aging infrastructure. * Biden said during a meeting of the National Governors Association. "I think you've got to lead us out of this mess we're in." -- Hmmm... "I think you've got to lead us out of this mess we're in"? Wait a minute... shouldn't he be making this plea to the Man of Steal?

HuffPost headline: "World Population Could Almost Quadruple By 2100 If Access To Contraception Doesn't Improve" -- And God might say, "Your point?"

---
Online story: "On Tuesday, a day before a scheduled speech on Denver’s economic progress, Obama ran into Gov. John Hickenlooper (D) at Wynkoop Brewing Company, where they played a highly publicized game of pool." -- Hmmm... so the Mosqued Man is too busy with important business to visit the Texas border for a "photo-op"?

---
HuffPost headline/story: "House Votes For Tax Breaks To Add $287 Billion More To Deficit * WASHINGTON -- The GOP-led House of Representatives embraced a former stimulus measure Friday, voting to make it and another related tax cut permanent, adding $287 billion to the deficit over the next 10 years. * The largest part of the cut, worth more than $263 billion, is making permanent so-called bonus depreciation, which allows businesses to write off the cost of capital investments and improvements much more quickly." -- Hmmm.. so the GOP is busy doing what it can to create jobs... and the HuffPost is against this? Don't fret HuffPost.. Reid won't bring it to the Senate floor, and if he did, it wouldn't pass, but if it did pass the Senate, the Mosqued Man would veto it.

Online story: "Matt Bendik, boyfriend of "Glee" star Becca Tobin, has been reportedly found dead in his hotel room. He was 35." -- You know.. this item is not really about Matt Benddik.. we pray for his family, but whay I want to bring out is there have been two deaths in the "Glee" family this year. Earlier, Cory Monteith, age 31, died in a drug related way. He was 31... now Becca Tobin is 28. I think our teen children do not need adults showing them how teens should be and act and respond to the world around them.

---
L-E headline: "Chicago wants more people to drive electric cars" -- Hmmm.. starting with funeral hearses?
---
OK, two weeks paid vacation for the Mosqued Man...I can live with that...but I'd like to see him work two weeks without golfing or fundraising to earn it.
---
Online story: "SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A woman is in the hospital with serious injuries after a fight Thursday afternoon outside AT&T Park following the final game of the Bay Bridge Series between the Giants and the A’s." -- Whatta the people thinking...that it's a soccer match?
---
Online headline/story: " San Francisco Giants May Ban ‘Culturally Insensitive’ Attire At AT&T Park * Giants’ Sr. Vice President Staci Slaughter said the Giants are very proud of their diverse fan base, but want fans to respect one another * A couple of weeks ago, at AT&T Park’s Native American Heritage Night, two groups of fans had a disagreement over the issue of what should and shouldn’t be worn.
SF Examiner reported two Native American fans asked a third fan, who appeared to be Caucasian, to remove a headdress he was wearing." -- Good grief... I hope some fan for the Oakland A's sues the Giants on the basis that fans wearing Giants apparel is "culturally insensitive" to him.
---
From above story - Wat to go AT&T.. you've reached out and touched someone...in an insensitive way.. Hope T-mobile sues AT&T for "culturally insensitivity" for having it's name on the Giants' stadium.
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Federal prosecutors are revving up efforts to seize the Mongols Nation Motorcycle Club trademark, taking with it associated patches and logos * Prosecutors’ initial trademark-snatching effort failed and cost the Justice Department $253,206 in attorneys fees" -- Good grief... The DOJ can't win against a motorcycle gang, and now it's going after a bigger bunch of thugs called the Redskins?
---
L-E story: "The Selective Service System mistakenly sent notices to more than 14,000 Pennsylvania men born between 1893 and 1897, ordering them to register for the nation's military draft and warning that failure to do so is "punishable by a fine and imprisonment." -- Hmmm... reckon the Mosqued Man is ordering up a "surge" for the next Gettysburg Re-Enactment?
---
Online story: "Illegal immigrants pouring across the border could trigger a wave of lawsuits flooding the U.S. court system for years and costing taxpayers millions, according to legal experts." -- Hmmm... now we know why the Man of Steal wants $3.7 Billion for the illegal immigrants... to hire fresh out of college, jobless lawyers.. this would be the only way the Man of Steal can influence the number of jobs he's created.
---
You know..with the low (less than $3,000) per capita income for Guatamalans, how are parents affording to pay for their kids to travel through Mexico, and pay 'escorts' to accompany them?
---
My daughter left earlier this morning with our church's youth ministry program. They are going to Guatamala to help local officials tend to displaced children. Hmmm, I wonder if they could just do that by going to the Texas border and relieve our Border Patrol agents of diaper changing and baby sitting?
---
L-E headline: "Auburn football: Nick Marshall cited for marijuana possession in Taylor County, Ga." -- Oooops, my bad.. thought maybe the University of Colorado was recruiting Marshall in the off season "with an offer he might not refuse"...
---
From above... Nick Marshall was driving and the officer smelled marijuana.. no arrest... no charge for D.U.I. (driving under the influence is not an alcohol specific charge).?
---
L-E's "Looking back |Fifty years ago today, July 12, 1964" feature: " The Republican Platform Committee approved a slashing attack on the Johnson administration Saturday, accusing the Democrats of following a Munich-like foreign policy and provoking racial strife at home." --"provoking racial strife at home"...Hmmm,, them rascally Democrats... 50 years later, and nothing much has changed... well except it's now orchestrated from the White House.
