Online story: "n a development further miring the twilight of Alex Rodriguez's career in litigation, the three-time American League Most Valuable Player's legal team is suing him for what it claims amounts to $380,000 in unpaid legal bills." -- Well, his lawyer's do have a better lifetime "batting" average..

HuffPost headline/story: "Cashier Told Obama A Gay Sex Joke And Got The Best Reaction * During a recent visit to Texas, President Barack Obama made a stop at Franklin Barbecue in Austin, where he ordered a ton of meat and was seen giving a cashier one of his famous fist bumps. * As the president approached, W*** threw his hand down and slapped the counter dramatically. "Equal rights for gay people!"
* "Are you gay?" the president asked. * "Only when I have sex," [W*** said.] * "That's when he laughed and said, 'Bump me,'" W*** says." -- Hmmm, wonder if the HuffPost and Mosqued Man would have thought this would have been "funny" if a black person told a black joke, or a Jew made a Jew joke, or a Pollock made a Pollock joke? Hey, did you hear the one about the Black Preacher, the Jewish Rabbi, and the Pollock Priest .....?

Online story: "Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper also seems to have had a change of heart about marijuana. He opposed Amendment 64, his state's legalization initiative, * In a recent interview with Reuters, Hickenlooper conceded that the consequences of letting people grow, sell, and consume pot without risking arrest have not been as bad as he feared. * "It seems like the people that were smoking before are mainly the people that are smoking now," Hickenlooper said as Colorado marked six months of legal recreational sales at the end of June. "If that's the case, what that means is that we're not going to have more drugged driving, or driving while high." -- Hmmm... give it time, Governor... give it time...
---
Hmmm.. listening to the Colorado Governor, you have to wonder if it was only a beer he offer the Mosqued man over a game of pool....
---
HuffPost headline: "White House: Border Kids Won't Be Sent Home To Die" -- Hmmm... guess the Mosqued Man will just let the older gang thug illegals roam the streets of America's inner cities and "kill or be killed"?
---
HuffPost headline: "Kerry Tries To Save Iran Nuclear Talks Days Before Deadline" -- Huh? I thought we were trying to stop Iran's nuclear plans.. not "save" them...
---
L-E headline/story: "Detroit bankruptcy judge opens court to critics * Judge Steven Rhodes says approximately 600 people without attorneys have filed objections. Roughly 80 will be given a chance to speak during morning and afternoon sessions Tuesday in federal court." -- A city is in debt $18 BILLION Dollars, and employees think they've earned a pension?
---
HuffPost story: "A regional accrediting agency has placed Gordon College, a Christian school in Boston, under review as the institution seeks the legal ability to discriminate in hiring against members of the LGBT community, the Boston Business Journal reported." -- hey.. what about all the other schools in Boston that won't hire non-liberals? How about the one in Boston who hired Sen. Elizabeth Warren only because it thought she was of Native American descent?
---
L-E story: "ATHENS - Brandon Morris, a starter for Georgia's men's basketball team, was arrested early Sunday morning on one felony charge of possession marijuana with intent to distribute." -- Hmmm, can you imagine how this would play out if a union players' rep appealed any coach's penalty for such behavior?
---
You know...the Republican Party needs to nominate Benjamin Netanyahu for President in 2016, and dare mainstream media to challenge his birth certificate.
---
Our MCSD system administrative department has been hard at work... making it impossible for families with high school students who drive being able to take their middle or elementary school siblings to or from school to help out their parents. This is the new schedule:
Elementary schools - 7:15 a.m. breakfast; 8 a.m. start; 2:30 p.m. dismissal.
Middle schools — 8:20 a.m. breakfast; 8:50 a.m. start; 3:52 p.m. dismissal.
High schools — 7:55 a.m. breakfast; 8:25 a.m. start; 3:20 p.m. dismissal.
You know.. better scheduling practices would probably save the school system a lot of money with less students riding buses if high school students could drive/pick-up their siblings.

What's wrong with this situation:
Sgt Tali-bergdahl is back on "active duty, while Sgt Tahmooressi is locked away in a Mexican jail?
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Nine military officials testifying that there was no “Stand Down Order” for Benghazi and that the right decision was made. OK, Republicans, are you going to discredit the military, too? Just stop." -- Hmmm, obviously this guy hasn't kept up with the number of Generals that the Mosqued Man has fired/dismissed...
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Jesus said: “Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Yet, so-called Christian conservatives want to forbid them from coming to our country." -- Hmmm, and exactly where did Jesus say.. "arents have children out-of-wedlock and abandoned looking after them"?
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Jesus, the Bible and the U.S. Constitution confirm that all are created equal. Why do some Republicans dispute that?" -- Hmmm, and when did Jesus advocate that using someone else's money and taking claim for helping others would get you into heaven?
---
You know.. all those unmarried people who are so certain that being against abortions and birth control are anti-Christian should quote the scripture where God condones out-of-wedlock sexual activity.

L-E editorial comment: "The resignation of Greg Coates as director of the city’s Inspections and Codes Department is unfortunate, but appropriate. It is unfortunate because Coates reportedly did a very good job of healing a broken and unhappy city agency plagued with falsified documents, harassment, unpleasant dealings with citizens, and morale problems. “We went from having complaints of rudeness in the department to having none at all,” Mayor Teresa Tomlinson said of Coates’ tenure" -- This is BS.. If the department was running so smoothly, Coates would not have been forced to resign over something that still could be acquired.

L-E headline: "VW TO BUILD NEW SUV IN TENNESSEE, ADD 2,000 JOBS" -- hmmm... Tennessee is a "right to work state".. Betcha Boeing is watching, too.
