From the Jon Lovitz "oh yeah, that's the ticket" department - HuffPost "story" -- Senior U.S. intelligence officials said Tuesday that Russia was responsible for "creating the conditions" that led to the shooting down of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, but they offered no evidence of direct Russian government involvement." -- "creating the conditions"? Good grief! Hmmm... on the other hand, the Mosqued man may have just given mainstream media and liberals "the hook" for impeachment. Who can deny that this Administrative confabulation is guilty of "creating the conditions" for Benghazi, IRS, VA, 'fast&furious', Tali-bergdahl's swap, Tahmooressi's abandonment, OObamaCRAP, et al?

L-E headline: "Thomas beats Wells in school board runoff" -- Wow! 4-to-1 LANDSLIDE! You know, if John Wells' "record" had been worthy, there wouldn't have been credible opposition to begin with. He should have dropped out of the runoff and left with some dignity.
---
I think I know how to stop Where'sWaldobama from going to fundraisers rather than to his office .. Draw a red line in front of the fundraising door and he won't cross it.
---
From the "bs" department - Doc Rivers, coach of the LA Crippers say he'll "quit" if the team isn't sold. Good grief.. the NBA has already announced it will pull the trigger on the "death clause" so whether or not the current sales transaction goes through or not, the LA Crippers will be sold, so Rivers' point is moot, grandstanding, and probably a bit racist in itself. Personally, if I were interested in buying the team, I think I'd send Rivers a message to go ahead and clean out his office.

Online story: "NEW YORK (AP) - Police are searching for four or five people they believe scaled to the top of the Brooklyn Bridge's two towers in the dead of night, disabled lights illuminating two large American flags and then replaced the flags with bleached-white ones. * The security breach at one of the city's most secured landmarks didn't appear to be the work of terrorists or even a political statement, said the police department's deputy commissioner for counterterrorism and intelligence, but was likely done by people familiar with climbing or bridgework who may even have scaled the bridge before. * "We don't take these things lightly, or as a joke, or as art or within the realm of speech," John Miller said. "These are issues of trespass - they put themselves in danger, they put others in danger - and that's why we investigate it." -- "We don't take these things lightly, or as a joke, or as art or within the realm of speech"?.. Hmmm, what's obvious is that the NYPD didn't take security seriously....On the other hand.. the Democratic Party in NYC better watch out... this was probably a few Democratic Party "Borough captains" putting up the white surrender flags for the November election.

Online headline/story: "Detroit pensioners approve bankruptcy haircut in landslide * In a vote announced last night, 73% of civilian city pensioners said they would accept a plan that would dock their monthly checks by 4.5% and eliminate the annual cost-of-living-adjustment to those checks." -- Hmmm.. how noble and self-sacrificing... NOT!!! If you were faced with trying to save a pension check from the city you helped drive into a bankruptcy abyss, you'd take "a cut" versus being "cut off".

Online story follow-up: "HELENA, Mont. (AP) - The Montana Supreme Court on Tuesday will publicly reprimand a judge who gave a lenient sentence to a rapist after suggesting the 14-year-old victim shared some of the responsibility for the crime. * The censure is a public declaration by the high court that a judge is guilty of misconduct. The rarely used punishment was recommended by the state's Judicial Standards Commission, which investigated complaints into the comments Judge Baugh made during Stacey Dean
R(_*_)bolds's sentencing last year. * Judge Baugh said, " that the teenager was "probably as much in control of the situation as the defendant" and that she "appeared older than her chronological age.""* Baugh sent R********* to prison for 30 days last year after he pleaded guilty to sexual intercourse without consent. * R********* was a 47-year-old business teacher at Billings Senior High School at the time of the 2007 rape. The victim was one of his students. She committed suicide while the case was pending trial." -- The judge said that the teenager was "probably as much in control of the situation as the defendant" and that she "appeared older than her chronological age."? The girl's family can not be compensated enough...

MLB is considering outlawing "defensive shifts" as a manager's option for certain batters who have been tracked to hitting a baseball to certain areas. MLB thinks it will put more runs on the board and that will make the game better. Good grief... some of the best games are 1-0 pitchers' duels with great offensive/defensive maneuvers called by the managers. MLB just thinks more runs will attract more TV audience. What's next for the MLB rules.. tethering outfielders to a stake with limited roaming area? Oh! How about removing an outfielder when the batter has less than 10 home runs.. or put a blindfold on the first baseman when a groundball hitter is at the plate. Leave the game alone, MLB!

Online headline: "Botox is being studied as a potential depression treatment." -- Well.. the AMA will be able to get a genuine test of its theory in the spring/summer of 2016. That's when Bleep Veep Biden-my-time will find out the Democratic Party is not interested in him being the 2016 nominee for president, and will get to see whether his head pops like a big zit.

Online story: In an interview with NPR's "Morning Edition", Marco Rubio said that Clinton is "a 20th century candidate" who "does not offer an agenda for moving America forward in the 21st century * The point Rubio is driving at is that Clinton is politics past, not politics future -- that her ideas might work well back in the 1990s when her husband was president but that times have changed since then and the Clintons have not changed with them." -- Heh heh heh.. hey, maybe we ought to make Marco Rubio our next Secretary of State.. he's obviously a wordsmith and diplomatic. He called Hillary "old" and mainstream media didn't catch it.
HuffPost story: "Agnes McKee of Oceanside, California, turned 105 years old last week, U-T San Diego reported. To celebrate, she threw out the ceremonial first pitch at San Diego's Petco Park on Sunday -- becoming the oldest person to ever do so at a Padres game, according to MLB.com." -- Hmmm.. wanna bet Hillary will top that in 2053 as she continues her ongoing quest to be elected president?
---
HuffPost headline": "Two Republican Judges Gut Obamacare, Threatening Health Care For Millions" -- Hmm .. Republican judges... do you ever recall the HuffPost calling the judges of liberal decisions "Democratic Party judges"? Fact is, the judges only pointed out what the Democrats wrote into OObamaCRAP laws. Republicans didn't even have a chance to read what the Democrats rammed through when they had super-majorities in both legislative chambers.
---
Those 8,000,000 who signed up on OObamaCRAP.gov and got subsidies...Supreme Court says those subsidies are illegal. A Democrat wrote that clause. You know, maybe Nancy Pelosi wishes someone in her party had read that clause.
---
Online quote source: "“Patience is not simply the ability to wait - it's how we behave while we're waiting.” _ Joyce Meyer ." -- Obviously, the Mosqued man is not patient..

You know..that poll of top 30 barbeque places that listed half of them in NY, ILL, and CAL was sorta bothersome until I remembered it was a poll by an online reservation service. Anyway, who eats barbeque at a restaurant that takes reservations?
---
Online story: "PHOENIX — The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday knocked down a stay of execution for Arizona Death Row prisoner Joseph W***, who is scheduled to be put to death Wednesday morning at the Arizona State Prison Complex-Florence. * W*** 55, was sentenced to death for killing his girlfriend and her father in Tucson in 1989." -- May justice finally move quickly.. before W***'s stupid lawyers file an appeal with District 9 based on how "cruel and unusual" it is to have made their client eat prison food for the past 25 years.
---
You know...I am concerned about illegal aliens being supported by our tax dollars, but it's the tax dollars we spend on legal American entitlements that are draining our economy.

There's an insurance ad talking about a man having a $40K new car that gets clobbered and his own insurance company won't fork up by $37K... depreciation..Had an experience like this years ago with an uninsured driver doing major damage to my car 3 month old car with 1300 miles on it. Damage was 40% of value. Adjuster offered to either give me a check with 20% depreciation, or fix it. Went by the dealer and inquired how it would affect my 5 year warranty. Dealer said replacement parts would be covered but 90 days, and other parts warranty could be denied because of wreck. Went back to adjuster, told them to fix my car, but they would have to write out a separate warranty to cover warranty work for the next 4 years/9 months. Adjusters looked at each other and asked if I would take a check for the full amount less 5¢ a mile for the 1300 miles driven. I got a check for the full amount less the $65.00. There's always an Achilles heel.

Offer via unsolicited e-mail: "See Government Grants You Qualify For with NO REPAYMENT! " -- Will someone pass this along to our Councilors to show them what "grants are about? Well, they don't seem to understand that "non-repayable grants" are just redistibution of tax dollars we've already had stolen without a plan to begin with. No need to send it to Mayor Obamalinson... she knows already.
---
I'm tickled at David Perdue winning the Republican runoff against Jack Kingston.. I wouldn't have been displeased if Kingston won.. he's been a pretty good representative for GA in the past, and hope he'll run again for Congress or against Isakson next primary.. but..Perdue is who we need in this race. Perdue will motivate the conservative independent voters to go to the polls, and they will support Republican candidates in other races statewide.

LIV's L-E "soundoff": "This should have been on the front page instead of buried on C6: U.S. records $71 billion surplus in June, putting it on track to record the lowest annual deficit since 2008. You go Obama!" -- Good grief.. now we see the harm public education has created with math failures over the past 40 tears. What cutbacks are being made in budgets are at the expense of our military which means we taxpayers are at greater risk. The only "measure" of the Mosqued man's term in office is the National Debt, and he's about buried us in it.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Ironically, the atheist acts more like Jesus preached than the so-called Christians." -- Huh? I thought Jesus preached for us to believe in him as our savior.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Republicans always think America should have the largest defense program, but then they think corporations and the 1 percent shouldn’t pay taxes." -- Is there a full moon out? The so called "1%" pay more than the 47% that vote Democrat and get income tax refunds via "unearned incometax credits" on taxes they haven't paid.
---
From the L-E's "Thought for Today": “To be proud and inaccessible is to be timid and weak.” — Jean Baptiste Massillon, French clergyman (1663-1742)." -- Wow! Did this guy just nail Where'sWaldobama from his grave!
---
L-E's "Looking back | Fifty years ago today, July 23, 1964": "Four of the state’s highest elective officials — all lifelong Democrats — have asked that their names not be included in the list of Georgia delegates to the national party convention at Atlantic City next month, informed sources disclosed Wednesday." -- Hmmm, the old guys do rock. Wonder how many Democrats up for re-election this November are doing the same thing?
---
L-E's "Quotable": “No one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of it to anyone else.” - Charles Dickens British author (1812-1870)" -- Chalk up another one for the old guys! What's that make Where'sWaldobama since he's a burden for everyone outside his administration?
---
L-E headline/story: "BLACK COLLEGES FACE HARD CHOICES ON $25M KOCH GIFT * America’s black colleges are struggling for funds. The Republican Party is struggling to attract black voters. * Enter a $25 million gift to the United Negro College Fund from the conservative Koch brothers, which has pitted the needs of black students against liberals’ insistence that the Kochs are pursuing a racist political agenda." -- Reminds me of another politically incorrect joke punchline on a dilemna: "Free Ham". The Black Colleges should graciously accept this.. after all, they unconcernedly accept conservatives money collected in taxes and given as government grants from liberals.
---
Another "John Lovitz 'that's the ticket' moment" - L-E headline/story: "TO FIGHT CRIME, CHICAGO TRIES WIPING AWAY MINOR ARRESTS * CHICAGO — Desperate to curb the gun violence wracking their city, Chicago lawmakers are leading the way toward a counterintuitive idea — fighting crime by making it easier for young people to wipe away minor arrest records." -- Yeah, erase the past to make the crime rates look better... erase the past so juries want have the records of past criminal activities...
---
L-E story: " NEW YORK — Experimentation with human growth hormones by America’s teens more than doubled in the past year, as more young people looked to drugs to boost their athletic performance and improve their looks, according to a new, large-scale national survey." -- Doh! With the job market as it is, and the lack of educational tools to write on their job applications, even the suburban school kids are looking to sports and entertainment as a career path, and it's just as available as other street drugs..
----
L-E headline/story: "Once again, Columbus Council delays vote on Manchester Overlay District * Two weeks ago when it was delayed the first time, Councilor Mike Baker said he needed more time to understand the ramifications of the proposal. On Tuesday, there was no comment from any councilor, only a 9-0 vote to delay making a decision. Councilor Red McDaniel was absent from the meeting. * The ordinance would establish guidelines for landscaping, signage, building materials, location and amount of parking and other aspects to “effectively enhance the city’s image as a desirable place to live, work and shop.” -- Good grief.. from the Council who is bring us a $244K dollar bathroom to "6 Heads over the Chattahoochee RiverWalk", do we really want to trust them landscaping and building supervisors over the future "best growth
area of Columbus?
---
L-E headline: "WHY THE U.S. COULD DIP INTO RECESSION" -- Hmmm... I think I can answer that in one word... liberalism.
