Hmmm, the 777 civilian airplane shot down over the Ukraine really upset the Mosqued Man. He added 38 seconds to his Delaware speech, but still made it to New York City for two fund raisers.
---
I thought it was most appropriate that the Mosqued Man talked more about the downed Malaysian airlines shot out if the sky. It really reminded us of his administration.

Mr. Bill "Let's be fair and raise the minimum wage, and open our borders for everyone who wants a job in America" Gates' company is lopping off 18,000, yep, that's right, 18 Thousand employees. Guess he'd rather feel the rush of a Wall Street applause than keeping 18,000 families in their homes. Great humanitarian....NOT!

---
Online headline: "Hillary Clinton sees Hobby Lobby ruling as a slippery slope" -- Ooops, thought Hillary was making a slur against Asians....
---
HuffPost headline: "Chris Christie Aide Says She Deleted Texts To The Governor" -- Hmmm... NOW the HuffPost is concerned about deleted/missing e-mails....

Online headline/story: "Mexican prison ordeal saps Marine Sgt. Tahmooressi's life savings * He dreamed of returning to Weston, Fla., when his second tour of duty ended and buying a new truck, maybe getting a place of his own. At 26, and with a modest nest egg waiting, he had a future back home. * Now Tahmooressi languishes in a Mexican prison, plagued by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. And the $65,000 he saved in the service of his nation is gone, according to his mother. * the case could stretch out for as long as two years, the Tahmooressi family is braced for expenses that could exceed $100,000." -- What the hell? You mean the Man of Steal trades 5 jihadists for a deserter, then THEN gives the deserter $350,000.00 in "back pay" and claim he did all this because he wasn't going to "leave a soldier behind", yet lets an American marine rot in a Mexican jail and hasn't taken responsibility for providing military legal personnel to look after Sgt Tahmooressi's interests? I cannot continue to refer to our President as a "man". Gone is the "man of Steal"...
---
Online headline: "DOJ official testifies agency taking closer look at how Lois Lerner's IRS emails were lost" -- Hmmm.. guess he's looking for a way to "lose" Pric Holder's e-mails...
---
WRBL 3 story: "BLACKFOOT, Idaho (AP) - A pilot who dropped 3,000 pingpong balls that were redeemable for prizes missed a crowd assembled for the stunt and instead hit a nearby interstate. * Moon says a new pilot attempted the drop this year, but apparently didn't understand that pingpong balls lose speed quickly and drop straight down." -- Hmmm.. the "new pilot" must have been the former "turkey drop" pilot on WKRP..
---
WRBL 3 headline/story: "Lay's releases four finalists for "Do Us a Flavor" contest * American palates have changed considerably over the years, but is the country ready for cappuccino-flavored Lay's? * The other three finalists are Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese, Mango Salsa and Wasabi Ginger." -- Alright... need some help next year .. my "flavor" suggestion is for one that will be enjoyable while outside grilling steaks or burgers.. it has KC Masteriece and jalapeno flavors and I call it "Bull Chip". Next year, get withn the plan and vote, "Bull Chip, Bull Chip, Bull Chip"!

WRBL 3 story: "WHITTIER, Calif. (AP) - When the man with the Twitter handle @HiddenCash moved his scavenger hunt to Whittier, California, a thousand people trampled through Penn Park seeking free money.
* J(_*_)son B(_*_), the man planting money envelopes in the park, has agreed to send the city of Whittier $5,000 to cover the cost of repairs. * City Manager Jeff Collier says cash hunters trampled on plants, uprooted a newly planted tree, tore apart sprinkler heads and broke fences. * Through Twitter, Buzi has directed people to envelopes with $50 and $100 inside them in San Francisco and across Southern California in recent months. * B(_*_)i calls his giveaways a "social experiment for good." -- A "social experiment for good." ? Maybe this B(_*_) should be required to apprentice with the National Parks Rangers..feed a few a bears.. then tell them he's through so the bears can go back to scavenging on their own. Yeah ... right.. What the so-called "social experiment for good." really demonstrates is the expected results of giving people an expected "hand out" instead of a "helping hand". Let's just hope the Mosqued man doesn't appoint him the next food stamp czar.
---
WRBL 3 headline: "Man accused of posing as TSA agent and groping women" -- Hmm.. why wouldn't the women believe the guy? Good grief... women are so use to having government ramble through their pockets, purses, and private lives in every other place they go..

WTVM9 story: "COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - On Thursday, July 17, the Southern Anti-Racism Network (SARN) is hosting a forum to discuss reparations for African Americans at 6 p.m. at the Columbus Public Library, located at 3000 Macon Road." -- Huh? the "Southern Anti-Racism Network" is going to have a "forum" to discuss "reparations for African-Americans"? Sounds more like it will a one-sided conversation, as non-African-Americans already believe there's been an Africa-American reparations program in force since Johnson's "Great Society" went into effect 50 years ago. Hey..it hasn't worked or it still wouldn't be discussed further. How about having a discussion on alternatives.. one of which would be to leave all the "race trump cards" at the door. Now, if there is a discussion on reparation.. the only issue should be whether the one-way tickets would have optional destinations or just the closest nation that would accept their entry...

From above story: "Dr. Akinyele Umoja, chair of African American Studies at Georgia State University, will be the main speaker. Respondents to Dr. Umoja's talk will include Dr. Jihad Hud, executive director of Project Rebound; Eddie White, vice-president at-large of the American Federation of Government Employees Local 987 at Warner Robins, and Theresa El-Amin, regional director of SARN." -- Sounds like a real "diverse" source of info.... NOT! I do see for the first time that one of the speakers names is Jihad. I know this man, but it is the first time I seen/heard his given name. His grandfather used to work at our store, and my grandfather assisted in the education of his mother and most of her siblings. I've never seen his referred to before as anything but Dr. J.A. Hud. Did you know that our "Crime Prevention Committee" gives Jihad funds for his program? I want to see his curriculum and some sort of verified results of our tax dollars being put in his hands...Council should make available a 990 IRS form with this information.
---
Online quote source: "“We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses." - Abraham Lincoln" -- Hmmm, maybe this quote should be part of the opening speakers remarks at the "Southern Anti-Racism Network " forum and posted to the walls of any Democrat entitlement sub-committee meeting.

Online story: "DETROIT, MI - A Detroit judge says one of the teens involved in a mob attack that nearly killed a man needed someone to "beat the hell out of him." * The statement by Wayne County Judge James Callahan came during the sentencing of 19-year-old L(_*_) C******, one of five convicted of attacking Steve Utash in April. Utash is recovering after being left in a coma by the mob attack, which reportedly involved 20 or more people. * Callahan told Cummings he needed a dad, "someone to discipline you. Someone to beat the hell out of you when you made a mistake, as opposed to allowing you or encouraging you to do it to somebody else." * Callahan sentenced Cummings to six months in prison with the possibility of clearing his record." -- Well, the Judge was right.. but he blew it when he sentenced the thug to 6 months with the possibility of the attack being expunged. In effect, Judge Callahan basically gave the (_*_) a "time out".
---
Online headline: " Obama calls for 'sense of patriotism' to bridge legislative deadlock" -- Good grief.. If there was any true patriotism on the left-side of the floor of the House or Senate. there would be unity in getting "the Mosqued man" impeached and convicted...
---
Online story: "DETROIT — Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday cast himself as a life-long champion of progressive priorities as he offered a keynote address at a liberal confab that was interrupted several times by protesters. * Biden was introduced by Arshad Hasan, the executive director of the activist group Progress Now. Hasan praised Biden for coming out ahead of the rest of the White House in backing same-sex marriage, and the vice president began his address by reiterating his support for the LGBT movement." -- Good grief... Bleep Veep Biden-his-tongue can't get a break.. even his own supporters... don't.

List of the 7 most corrupt countries for 2013 are (in reverse order according to author): Iraq, Libya, South Sudan, Sudan, Afghanistan, North Korea, and Somalia. Conspicuously, Egypt, Pakistan, Yemen and Iran are not on this list of 7. Even more conspicuously, the current US administration is not on this list. In 2013, we sent $37 Billion in foreign aid around the world.. It's time to cut the umbilical cord to all countries that do not support America.
---
There was also a list of the 10 most dangerous cities in the US.. They all shared Democrat mayors in common. Columbus was not on this list, but the list was pretty much major cities in Obamaland. Columbus is just not quite big enough to make this top 10 list, but we have the mayoral component in place.. so watch out!

Online headline/story: "Mexico Banning Soda TV Ads On Weekday Afternoons And All Day On Weekends * Mexico is taking a step further in its continuous fight against obesity by restricting television advertisements for high-calorie foods and soft drinks." -- Wait a minute..our Diet Sodas are more dangerous than rice and beans?

Online story: "Authorities in Jersey City, N.J. already on edge following the ambush-killing of a rookie police officer over the weekend, are on high alert after the street gang The Bloods purportedly vowed to kill even more Jersey City cops after last week’s slaying of Officer Melvin Santiago. * the infamous gang has threatened to “kill a Jersey City cop and not stop until the National Guard is called out. * An internal Port Authority advisory obtained by The Post warned that some Bloods gang members may be traveling from out of state to target officers in New Jersey." -- Alright... where's Jesse and Al? Why isn't the Mosqued man calling for a beer summit? Oh, and where's the DOJ and FBI? Doesn't this fall under the RICO act since state borders are being crossed to commit crime?

While my bride and I hit the gulf for our 14th anniversary earlier this week, the newlyweds took in a Beyonce/Jay Z concert in Atlanta. My daughter was not familiar with much of Jay Z's "work" but being way in the minority of fans attending, she got flustered at the number of songs built around n-word, and all her "neighbors" unabashedly screaming it out along with Jay Z. She won't attend another one just because there's so much hypocrisy in the entertainment world.

What is it with car manufactures in "pursuit of perfection"? I want one car that fits me and 3 more people my sized comfortably, and without all the electronic nick-knacks that will be malfunctioning when I want to trade it in.

LIV's L-E "soundoff": "So it is true. It will take an Act of Congress for Women to have equal access to health care and the right to make their own decisions with their doctors, not their bosses …" -- What stupidity! Women can make all their decisions now...and have been able to for decades. Of course, like any other aspect, when you want someone else to pay for it, then that someone else is going to want to have an influence in the decision.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Republicans, rename your party. You don't want a republic. You pine for an oligarchy/plutocracy, government by the few, the rich. Disenfranchisement of poor and middle class will be priority one." -- Good grief.. this soundoffer is applauding the oligarchy of the Mosqued Man, and wants it to morph into full fledged communism... and doesn't know the difference . Way-to-go.. public education!

Online story: "Georgia’s unemployment rate rose to 7.4 percent in June from 7.2 percent in May, primarily because of summer layoffs of school employees, the state labor department said Thursday." -- "primarily because of summer layoffs of school employees"? Wait a minute.. all the "professionals work on annual contracts, so they're not "laid off" in the summer. and there are so many federal feeding programs during the summer, so cooking staff doesn't get laid off, so who are the school employees laid off during the summer? Some bus drivers, but they are part time time to begin with.. so please explain this line of "logic", especially since private businesses hire part time help during the summer to help schedule full time employees' vacation periods.

Online story: "MARIETTA — The Marietta school board voted Tuesday night to lower property taxes for Marietta residents. * The decrease means someone who owns a $200,000 home will pay $54 less than what they paid in 2013, according to a presentation to the school board. * The Marietta school board dropped the millage rate from 18.682 mills to 17.97 mills with a 4-0 vote, with Jeriene Bonner-Grimes and Jill Mutimer absent from Tuesday’s meeting" -- Wouldn't it be nice if the MCSD would do this also.. not it doesn't.. instead, our MCSD complains about cutbacks in what the State of Georgia gives.. At last look, the Marietta school board was just as dependent on state tax revenues as Marietta. Remember this as you vote for John Thomas, MCSD 2 runoff candidate today or on Tuesday.

Columbus is abuzz with excitement.. Frank Thomas, Jr.. the "Big Hurt".. former Peach LL, Columbus High, Auburn, and Chicago White Sox star..... is about to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. It should be that every member of the HOF shared his skills and righteousness and humbleness as a role mode for his and future generations. I'm happy to say I got to share Frank's Peach LL and CHS experiences.

L-E story: " GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Thousands of Israeli soldiers invaded the Gaza Strip on Thursday, escalating a 10-day military operation to try to destroy Hamas’ weapons arsenal, rocket firing abilities and tunnels under the Palestinian territory’s border with Israel. * It was the first major Israeli ground offensive in Gaza in just over five years and came after Egyptian-led efforts to broker a cease-fire failed. Earlier Thursday, 13 Hamas militants tried to infiltrate Israel through a tunnel under the Gaza-Israel border, but were stopped by an Israeli strike at the mouth of the tunnel." -- Oh.. Israel escalated the action? Seems like Israel held off until Hamas tried to burrow into Israel..Show your bias, mainstream media..

The L-E reported on a Back-to-School-Block-Party held at the 29th St Rec Center on Thiursday. It was co-sponsored by a wealthcare company and the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department. There[s mention of another Back-to-School-Block-Party to be held on July 31st in Harris County... WHOA! Am I reading that the Columbus Parks & Rec Department will be co-sponsoring a partyy in Harris County? Surely not...
