HuffPost story: "Senate Democrats are expediting legislation that would override the Supreme Court's decision in the Hobby Lobby case and compel for-profit employers to cover the full range of contraception for their employees, as required by the Affordable Care Act. * The bill, which is co-authored by Sens. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) and Mark Udall (D-Colo.)," -- Hmmm. Senators from Colorado & Washington State.. You know, time was when we'd joke about what "they had been smoking"... today, we KNOW what they have been smoking.
---
Random thought: If a person flies into Colorado or Washington State and buys legal (there) marijuana, will TSA let them back on a plane to fly to a state where it's not legal?
---
Another random thought: Will drug sniffing dogs be able to tell whether the marijuana is legal or not?

Malia Obama went to a famous L.A. restaurant Monday night -- a restaurant regularly frequented by celebs and paparazzi -- and when the White House found out a photog took her pic, they went into DEFCON 1 to KILL the photos. * Malia Obama went to a famous L.A. restaurant Monday night -- a restaurant regularly frequented by celebs and paparazzi -- and when the White House found out a photog took her pic, they went into DEFCON 1 to KILL the photos. * The 16-year-old went to Gjelina in Venice, CA with some friends. The photog got the pic as Malia walked out and then sent it to the AKM-GSI agency to sell. The agency posted the pic on its website for media outlets to purchase, but several hours later The First Lady's Office called AKM-GSI and asked them to please take the pics off the website and delete them from their files. * Michelle Obama's people told the agency they had promises from various media outlets not to photograph the 2 girls when they were not in the presence of their father. * AKM-GSI then agreed, sending an email to the media with the subject, "URGENT SET KILL NOTICE." * Now here's what's interesting. Malia has been in L.A. over the last few weeks, doing an internship on Halle Berry's TV show for part of the time." -- Hmmm.. so this is what the Mosqued Man considers the "minimum wage job" that he wants his girls to experience...hmmm with all the Secret Service team attached.. it surely won't be a "minimum expense experience" for us taxpayers... nor low profile, either.

Online story: "The National Security Agency spied on five American citizens despite a lack of any finding that they posed a threat to national security, The Intercept, an investigative outlet co-founded by Greenwald, is reporting Wednesday. * All five are moderate American citizens who appear to have been targeted for surveillance because of their political activity. The NSA told The Intercept that the surveillance was not "based solely" on speech. * "No U.S. person can be the subject of FISA surveillance based solely on First Amendment activities, such as staging public rallies, organizing campaigns, writing critical essays, or expressing personal beliefs," the statement read." -- Does anyone believe anything this Administration portrays as "the truth"?
---
Online quote source: " “Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” - Mark Twain " -- Obviously not in the Democratic Party Playbook.. the Mosqued Man's, either. \Remember when he told us "we didn't build our businesses"?
---
Online story: "The VA reportedly sent an email warning employees not to communicate with delegation members investigating the department. They later rescinded the email, saying it was “poorly worded”, and sent out another email advising caution in disclosing information since they were undergoing an audit." -- If this reason enough for naming a special prosecutor, then Congress should start impeachment proceedings now.

Now the UN wants to classify all the illegal minor aliens as "refugees" which would mean the US cannot send them back. Well, UN, what was the status of the "refugees" when they first crossed the southern Mexican border without Mexico stepping up to the plate with assistance?
---
Of course the Mosqued Man doesn't want to go to the Texas border to see things first hand..that would eliminate him being able to say he didn't know anything until he read about in the November 5th post election edition of the New York Times.

Good grief...as if we didn't already know that "N.O.W." (a.k.a. National Organization of Wackos ) is totally out of touch over real women's issues, it has absolutely destroyed any last vestiges of relevance. N.O.W. had named a nun's group to its "Dirty 100" list for groups fighting the mandatory birth control issues in OObamaCRAP. Does any one see any reason that a group of nuns need to have birth control and maternity coverage in its healthcare coverage?

From Charlie Harper opinion piece in L-E: "" Richard Woods represents essentially the forth place finisher from the school superintendent's race of 2010 - when only two people were on the ballot." -- "forth place finisher"? "forth place"? Even the L-E can't blame this on the spell checker.. this is pathetic.

L-E story: "To accommodate scheduling changes, Muscogee County School District middle schools will start 10 minutes earlier and dismiss 13 minutes earlier each school day. * Middle schools will start at 8:50 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. and dismiss at 3:52 p.m. instead of 4:05 p.m., superintendent David Lewis announced during Monday evening's Muscogee County School Board called meeting and work session." -- Good grief.. Why not start and finish class days on times people can remember without straining . Starting, ending school days on the hour or half-hour would certainly aid parents in scheduling their days.

They are coming out if the woodwork. People who met Dr Martin Luther King Jr 50 years ago. You know, they all fawn about how inspired , how honored they were. Well, how come they've forgotten Dr. King's message and dream?
---
You know..with military cutbacks coming on top of the last BRAC when a lot of bases were upgraded and expanded are now being downsized, there are thousands of unused beds on many military bases that could be used as secured holding units for these illegal aliens. Ft Benning alone is talking about 10,000 being downsized.

Washington State recreational marijuana stores had their grand openings today. Supply was low so customers were limited to 2 grams for $50.00 which would be about 4 joints ($12.50 each), and that's about twice the street price. Interestingly, there were more reporters out than customers waiting for stores to open. Bet those news services better item check those reporters expense receipts.
---
Good grief... Waldobama has popped up out of his "whack - a - mole" hole and now wants $3.7 BILLION to care for illegal alien minors. $3.7 BILLION dollars.that's over $60,000.00 per child, and that's just to house and feed and clothe them. That doesn't included schooling them, doctoring them, or transporting them back to their countries. What say we march them to the border closest to them , advertise to Central America that we have attached a sealed envelope of cash to each child that the parents can have when they come and get their children. Sure would be quicker and cheaper. Heck, even do what Mid-East countries do to make sure no one votes twice..dip the kids' fingers in permanent tattoo ink when their parents pick them up.

What is the RNC thinking? Cleveland? Doesn't the"Committee' realize that there's a gubernatorial election going on in Texas, and dissing Dallas for Cleveland will be used against the Republican candidate? Besides, even if the Republicans win Ohio, losing Texas would make that effort futile.

L-E headline: "CRCT SCORES SHOW MANY SCHOOLS STILL BEHIND STATE * 24 elementary, 7 middle schools are below the state average in most subjects and grades, but superintendent says scores are improving" -- This demonstrates exactly why our school system is lagging and has been lagging for so long. Lewis, and several superintendents, and the School Board itself have been shooting at getting to "average". Let me remind you, again, how my grandfather described "average". Average is either the worst of the best, or the best of the worst, and neither should be your goal.
---
L-E headline: "Councilor wants city to rethink 'unsafe' bike lanes on Dillingham" -- Judy Thomas seems to be the only Councilor responsive to the whole community's needs. My suggestion for remarking the bicycle Kane's is to follow the state & local laws concerning bicycle regulations. I think Mayor Obamalinson should make an announcement concerning who approved the markings since obviously the markings are not state code. Firing should be considered.
---
L-E story: " If two of the most progressive U.S. cities don’t pass a tax on sugary drinks, will the idea finally fizzle out?" -- Hmmm.. San Francisco & Berkeley...both are in California.. no wonder the mainstream media connects taxes on end users as progressive.
