Good grief...Pric Holder is out calling the police shootings in Ferguson
reprehensible. No, Pric Holder, your comments and actions that happened
concerning Ferguson last summer/fall were/are reprehensible! The shootings this
week are "war".
---
Good grief...President Obamageddon addressed the ambush shooting of two
police officers in Ferguson via "twitter". If there was any doubt left, it has
now been removed ..he is truly a " big twit"!
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "President Obama Reading Mean Tweets Is Your American
Dream Come True" -- Obamageddon has time to go on Kimmel Show and read
"tweets".... but not time to talk, even listen to Netanyahu.. Obamageddon is no
"dream"; he's a "nightmare".... and a "big twit".
---
Rumor has it there are more scandals involving Sen Harry Reid than the
Clintons... these may confirm that Reid's injuries were caused by someone.. not
something..
---
Have you figured out why the "Yes for US...uh, Kids" committee has
recruited former Superintendents to shill for the SPLOST that don't even live
here and aren't going to be affected by the 1% tax increase?..Phillips spends
less time here now than when his was Superintendent, and Bunting lives in
Florida and has zero concern for the taxes charged here.
---
There's a L-E letter-to-the-editor of rather dubious informative nature
from the Chair of the "Yes for US..uh..Kids" committee. What's obvious is that
the MCSD has had $3 BILLION dollars over the last 10 years and hasn't gotten
education moving forward. Perhaps the executives are too distracted spending
SPLOST money to be bothered with the real needs of the students.
---
Hey...isn't it sorta strange, suspect even, that the "Yes for US...uh
..Kids" committee has gotten a former Superintendent who joined Synovus after
retiring and now lives in Florida to endorse the 2015 SPLOST, yet our most
recent full time Superintendent, one who really knew what was going on, Susan
Andrews, has not come forward to speak for it?
---
You know, stopping the SPLOST may be just what the MCSD/MCSB needs. I'm
beginning to believe the SPLOST projects are too big a distraction from getting
the primary job of educating our children on track. Always having a project to
start/complete keeps reality from being addressed. Maybe waiting until the
grades and test scores improve before giving the MCSD any more "play money" will
be exactly what incentive the MCSD/MCSB needs.
---
WLTZ headline: "MCSD wants to use SPLOST money to convert buses to natural
gas" -- Oh! When members of the MCSD WANT to discuss ideas, it's "OK"... Only a
few days away and it looks like " they" are adding single issues to the SPLOST
project list.
---
Ask yourself this question before you go to vote on the 2015 SPLOST:
Is it really a good move to give a group who has hoarded $30,000,000.00 over a 10 year period to eventually build a "want" (Fine Arts Academy) instead of using the $30,000,000.00 in-hand to fix inadequate autistic classrooms, Spencer's foundation, Shaw's handicap access needs, and enough textbooks for all children another $192,000,000.00?

You know..when you vote for on a self imposed tax, you lose even if you
win.
---
I'm re-looking at the list of over $400,000.00 that Dr Lewis has been given
oversight authority to approve payment of up to $15,000.00 and am shaking my
head. I spoke of a few items briefly on Tuesday, but the ones that really get me
are the checks made out to vendors who have been a part of the 2009 SPLOST
projects... like architects fees.. this is something that the full MCSB members
should approve.
---
One other item that makes you raise an eyebrow at how efficient.. well, to be truthful.. inefficient, the buyers in the MCSD can be.. One approved purchase by Dr Lewis is a check for $2,928.00 paid to Engineered Low Voltage Electronic Systems, Inc for a 50" Sharp Aquos TV. Why didn't the buyer just send a maintenance truck to Sam's and pick one up for $449.00?

Online headline: "Sam Nunn on that Iranian letter and a divided
Washington’s willingness to risk U.S. clout abroad" -- Well, at least he didn't
send his ventriloquist dummy that looks like his daughter out to speak for him.
Oh.. and another David Lewis approved check went to Alexander Electric Company for $4,100.00 for "Labor and Material to repair tree mount"... For $4,100.00, it seems a new tree could have been mounted .. no, what's a red flag is the $4,000.00 reported in donations paid by that same company and executives to the "Yes for US..uh..Kids" advertising committee.

You know... if the MCSD/MCSB is "so desperate" for money.. why haven't they
moved forward with converting the super-valuable bus maintenance property on
Whitesville Road to cash and move that operation to another owned piece of
property?
---
L-E story: " HAVANA — Cuba has allowed the launch of the island’s first
known free, public Internet service at a Havana cultural center that quietly
began offering open Wi-Fi in recent weeks." -- Hmmm.. well, that's one way to
draw all the underground iPhones and tablets into one convenient location for a
"roundup".
---
Columbus' unemployment rate has jumped to 7.6%. You know.. we use to have a
cushion because of Albany, but now that more of Columbus is under Congressman
Bishop's representation, we've reached the same level as Albany.
---
Palcohol... Powdered alcohol...packets you can hide anywhere on your body
and sneak into about any venue you choose. Gone will be the family friendly
college football games we've come to enjoy.
---
Speaking of powdered alcohol packets.. some one must have stuck a few in
the Secret Service's refreshment room.
---
The number of new jobless claims fell last month..gee whiz..if you start
with fewer people working you're gonna get fewer people losing their jobs.
---
Excuse me...how can the White House, specifically HEBDObama, not be
concerned about what's in Hillewinsky's e-mail? She obviously sent confidential
and top secret communications via text/e-mail that has to be of concern for our
nation's security.
---
Is it just me..or just that Hillewinsky seems to put herself above other
Democrats..as well.. Take the e-mail flap..she's basically saying that she can
set the rules which are used to govern her, and she can determine what's a
personal e-mail and not?
---
Seems like the mainstream media is looking at Hillewinsky as being "too big
to fail". What I want to see is a US Supreme Court decision that decries that
Hillewinsky is not " too big to jail"!
---
Hillewinsky has just confirmed she's a member of the "Not Ready For Prime
Tim P-l-a-y-a-s"
---
Kerry says the Iran negotiation is about a nonbinding legal
agreement...huh? "nonbinding legal agreement"? If I make a verbal bet on the
first tee, and someone accepts, it's binding until the 19th hole shuts
down.
---
L-E headline: "Columbus jobless rate climbs to 7.6 percent in January" --
Hmmm.. and some people want to raise taxes on what more people getting
unemployment checks will have to pay for food and utilities..
Heartless!
