HuffPOO headline: "Ga. woman's execution halted over drug issue" -- Oooops, my bad.. thought some of our state officials might be on some! Good grief.. the injections are suppose to end her life, not save it. What could be the issue.. that she suffer... be "pained"? That would be good in my book.. sorta an intro to her eternal life...
---
Online headline: "Clinton may have broken federal rules while Secretary of State" -- May? Good grief.. Breaking, bending, and skirting laws is her profession... and she certainly isn't going to let any rules get in the way to attaining what she wants.
---
Online headline: "Obama opens up about shifting policies in Cuba" -- Hmmm.. now this is something Obamageddon is good at shifting positions and being shifty..
---
HuffPOO headline: "Bill Clinton's Portrait Includes A Nod To Monica Lewinsky, Painter Says" -- Good grief.. I've got to agree with the HuffPOO on this.. the artist had no right to inject his personal or political "feelings" into a commissioned work. Guess it does indicate that the left is no longer as enamored with Hillary as in the past.

Online story: "Forbes said Monday that Bill Gates's net worth rose to $79.2 billion in 2015 from $76 billion last year. That put him at the top of the magazine's list of the world's billionaires for the second consecutive year. The co-founder of Microsoft Corp. has topped the list for 16 of the last 21 years. * In second place is Mexican telecommunications mogul Carlos Slim Helu, with a net worth of $77.1 billion. He had topped the list in 2013. * Next is investor Warren Buffett, who moved up one slot this year with a net worth of $72.7 billion. " -- Wait a minute... Gates and Buffett...bastions of liberalism and crusaders for more taxes on the wealthy got decidedly wealthier in the past year? Guess their rage against their own wealth being unfair is more of a "front" than a passion. Get your check books out, gentlemen, and demonstrate your concerns.

Random thought... with the blizzard streak bombarding north and northeastern states in a devastating manner.. where are Algore and his Global Warming minions hiding out?
---
Online story: "Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s already struggling reelection bid has suffered another potential hit, with a fresh credit downgrade giving political ammunition to his runoff rival. * Moody's Investors Service last week downgraded the city’s credit rating, citing $20 billion in unfunded pension liabilities. The agency lowered the rating on $8.3 billion in general obligation debt to near junk bond status and issued a cautious forecast about the city’s longer-term financial future." -- I see Rahm learned from his master on how to buy votes using play money.. wait a minute,, it sorta sounds like what Mayor TomLYINGson has been doing in our town.. taking from the fund balance to plug up the lack of balance in her budget!

How hypocritical can Obamageddon be...refusing to meet and talk with Netanyahu because there's an Israeli election in two weeks, yet has sent some of his reelection team to Israel to work for Netanyahu's opponent?
---
You know... Islam is not a religion.. never has been.. it's a political agenda disguised as a religion...
---
VANDA...there's a TV medical ad running for a drug to help the totally blind cope with day/night disorientation. You know the spiel.. "tell your doctor your symptoms et al? I really wonder about a company that chooses to reach a blind audience via TV.

Jonathan Gruber double-extra-stupid L-E "soundoff": "When I hear of Christians being persecuted, I always wonder if they are Christians in the biblical sense or religious people who call themselves Christians. There is an eternity of difference." -- Good grief.. Christians have inner struggles... always have, always will, but they have Jesus to turn to for help and guidance.. some.. actually, all of us are sinners who know better, but in the end, we know to seek His path to get our bearings back.
---
Jonathan Gruber extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "The GOP has the majority in the House and the Senate and they still can’t get anything done." -- Doh! Hey... doesn't it make sense that the hang-up, the problem , is in the White House?
---
Jonathan Gruber extra-extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Every Democrat loves his country. It’s just they’re so busy trying to keep the Republicans from destroying America that it doesn’t look that way to the untrained eye." -- Hmmm... I have solution... stop drinking your "solution" of Kool-Aid; your vision will improve..
---
Either an infinitely stupid L-E "soundoff" or one of brilliant satire: " It is not true that they will ration health care. Simply reducing and limiting fees paid to physicians will be sufficient. If your physician will work for free there will be no rationing." -- I'm tending to lean on the infinitely stupid aspect as doctors' fees are probably the most realistic part of medical costs.. hospitals not so much.. I remember when I broke my elbow in 2003.. my orthopedic surgeon, one of Columbus's best and best known, charged me about $1,500.00 for his complete services. He said he could do it at The Surgery Center or at The Hughston Hospital (which he preferred as he would like me to stay one night under supervision). I checked with both facilities for costs. The Surgery Center cited $2,000.00 for the use of its operating facility.. Hughston Hospital quoted me $15,000.00. I said "huh?",... the lady responded.. "well, the overnight room costs $476 dollars" - I then asked..if the room cost $500, and I'll grant you $3,000.00 for the operating theater.. that would be $3,500.00. What do I get for the other $11,500.00? Are you going to fly me to Paris for one of the fabulous French Cuisine meals you advertise? The lady called back the next day to see if I wanted to make an reservation...heh heh heh.
---
L-E's " Thought for Today": “America is a tune. It must be sung together.” — Gerald Stanley Lee, American clergyman and author (1862-1944)." -- Heh heh heh... will anyone else join in contributing singing lessons for Democrats... especially in keeping the "key"?
---
L-E headline: "LOS ANGELES * Video of LAPD incident appears to show man reaching for gun" -- Hmmm.. that might explain why the officer kept yelling "gun"!
---
Random thought: Why do education centers have to put on "dog and pony" shows with candidates for leadership positions.. whether for a school district or a college, the appointed selection committee committee should simply investigate interested candidates (or.. send out a sub-committee to go seek potential candidates that are busy running a like facility well that they are happy with, and offer a contract they can't refuse). discuss the merits, decide on one, and present their choice to the community. Why bring in several so the community becomes split on the candidates they think most reflect their own personalities?

Chuck Williams has a follow-up column today that re-examines the column last week of the brutal killing of a per dog on its owner's leash being mauled and killed as the owner stood helplessly there. Seems Chuck has been deluged with claims of "breedism" by a well orchestrated organization. How about just requiring all dog owners have insurance, and let the insurance companies assign risk costs based on history of claims throughout the country. Put it down to facts and figures.. no one is singled out as anti-pit bull. The facts.. just the facts...

L-E headline/story: "Police: Columbus teen says he shot friend accidentally * Darius Pike, 17, told police that he accidentally shot his (14 year old) friend * Pike was arrested Sunday and charged with reckless conduct and possession of a pistol by a person under 18, police said in a report." -- Hmmm.."possession of a pistol by a person under 18"? How can this be? What .. there must be 100s.. probably 1000s of laws liberal have written to stop this. Maybe another law will do the trick.. let's look and see which liberal offers a new law prohibiting this in the upcoming days.

Looking at the ranking of NCAA men's basketball teams.. between the Top 10, they' have won 264 games and lost but 28.. guess this means the top teams don't schedule each other very much.
