HuffPOOPOO "head-lie-ne": "Obama: 'I'm Embarrassed' For Republicans Who
Sent Letter To Iran" -- "Embarrassed"? For what... not signing the letter, or
being THE reason the letter was sent?

For two months there has been a Senate bill discussed to add some teeth to
"human sex trafficking" . It even passed unanimously in the Senate Judiciary
Committee. This week, Harry Reid put a 'block" on it.. why.. because it had a
provision that would bar the use of fines assessed to pay for abortions in most
cases. Harry Reid said some think it got there by "sleight of hand." He blamed
Republicans for not flagging it, and added that claim somehow they missed, after
it being in there for two months."....good grief.. it's a common clause included
in most Senate bills. Maybe Harry should read the Senate bills.. first, but the
saddest thing is that he's against toughening up on perverts.. wonder if
revelations about Bill Clinton's party connection with convicted sex offender
Jeffrey Epstein's Caribbean island are popping up in Hillewinsky's plans? Of
course, Reid could have read it two months ago, too.
---
Online quote source: " “The voyage of discovery is not in seeking new
landscapes but in having new eyes.” - Marcel Proust" -- Perhaps Harry Reid needs
"new eyes"... especially a "right one".
---
Hmmm.. thinking about today's cite, do you suppose Obamageddon
misiterpreted the verse.." “The voyage of discovery is not in seeking new
landscapes but in having new "I's".
---
You know...I wish we could get the MCSD and MCSB as fired up about raising
our children's grades/test scores as they get trying to raise our taxes.
---
The main.. perhaps the biggest problem in the MCSD system is attitude...
bad attitude... one of "If we had this, it would be better instead of this is
what we have, let's make the most of it. Be thankful...give the kids the best we
can with what we have.
---
Good grief... of all the things on his plate that Obamageddon's ignoring..
March Madness is not one of them.. his website has another bracket game to
divert his attention from America's issues:
Sorta shoots holes in his claim to want to work with Republicans,
too.

L-E story: "Columbus Police are searching for a man who entered an occupied
vehicle on College Drive near Hardaway High School this morning, but fled when
the owners confronted him, * The suspect is a white male, wearing black pants or
jeans, a long-sleeve camouflage T-shirt, is between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8,
wearing a camouflage back pack and thin build, according to police. The child
inside the vehicle reported the man had a gun and the parents thought they saw a
gun, * MCSD security director Scott Thomann said nobody ordered those schools to
be locked down. The instruction, he said, was to ensure that the exterior doors
were secure because employees were in the buildings while police were looking
for a suspect in the neighborhood, but no threat was imminent to the schools *
“I don’t know what the schools actually communicated to them,” Thomann said,
“but we, from a security standpoint, never issued the order to lock down.” --
Excuse me.. but with sketchy info that did at least mention that thebperpetrator
was wearing a BACKPACK and possibly had a GUN and the Columbus police did not
have a person of interest lockedc up.. don't ypu think the perpetrator would
figure out one of the best places to blend in while wearing a BACKPACK would be
with nearby high school students? Guess no 'lockdown' was called because the
safeguard to do so is waiting on the SPLOST approval...

Pretty much "gets it" L-E "soundoff": " Bill “Slick Willy” Clinton and his
wife could find a legal loophole in a stop sign... yeah, he would ask how it
"stop" is defined, and she would say she obeyed only laws that she feels govern
her. Of course, Obamageddon's Secretary of Education would say the sign maker
had dyslexia, and it may have been a sign designation where a "post" or "pots"
was to be placed.
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " The Republicans are skilled
at creating scandals for Democratic candidates and doing runs around Obama’s
foreign policy. They have become a law unto themselves." -- Hmmm as I recall,
all elected officials are sworn to uphold our Constitution.. it looks like only
the Republicans are trying to do their duty.. their sworn duty.
---
An "almost gets it" L-E "soundoff": "My neighbor has a “Vote Yes for the
Kids” sign in his yard. His children went to private school and now his
grandchildren do also. I must be missing something." -- Nah.. he's not missing
anything.. just the sign of a no-bid contractor who donated to the "Yes for
US... uh.. Kids" committee.
---
Jonathan Gruber "stupid-as-a-fox" L-E "soundoff": " The SPLOST opposition
wants you to compare apples to oranges. Nobody ever claimed that new buildings
make you smarter or reduce crime and poverty. But their construction sure pumps
money into the local economy." -- "pumps money into the local economy... hmmm..
so taking $35,000,000.00 a year out of local pockets so that money goes into the
pockets of no-bid contractors rather than local small businesses' pockets is a
better deal. The "Yes for US...uh..Kids" side should be on a CNBC TV show called
"American Greed".
---
L-E headline: "AT PHOENIX VA, OBAMA SAYS MORE WORK TO DO FOR VETERANS" --
Hmmm.. wouldn't it have been better if Obamageddon had started in January of
2009?
---
As a fan of Wynnton School (and a member of Wynnton's ONLY EVER 8th Grade
Class of 1960-61) and equally a fan of Elizabeth Russell who was the principal
when my niece and nephew attended, I read her letter with more than passing
interest.. I was particular interested in her opinion about the leaking roof,
and that she thinks a SPLOST was used for repairs. GA laws governing the use of
SPLOST revenues strictly states that such revenues can only be used to
repair/maintain "roads. streets. and bridges". Nowhere is roof
repair/replacement mentioned! This is "great witness" to the misuse of previous
SPLOST revenues.

You know... cars and such are confiscated during drug busts.. why are DUI
offenders allowed to keep theirs? A swift and certain financial upheaval should
weigh heavily in a drinking person's decision to drive.. por on even a sober
person allowing an excessive drinking person to drive his/her vehicle.
---
You know.. the police officers that were ambushed in Ferguson earlier this
week should sue the US government! Start with the DOJ for
instigating/encouraging civil unrest, and all the government entitlement
programs for funding the rioters.
