Online headline: "CIA director orders sweeping agency overhaul * The spy agency will undergo a major reorganization and refocus designed to make leaders more accountable and close big gaps." -- Secret Service... State Department... DOJ.... NSA... DHS...HHS...IRS....and now the CIA... Is there no government agency under Obamageddon that hasn't needed a colonoscopy? Maybe This is the cause of the "superbug" in California...
---
That endoscope being associated with the outbreak of a "superbug" was reportedly marketed without FDA approval..why isn't there a policy at hospitals that limits purchases to only FDA approved devices ....at least for devices that aren't one-time-use disposables?

---
Online headline: "Senator defiant amid corruption scandal * New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez told reporters Friday, 'I have always conducted myself appropriately and in accordance with the law.' -- Hmmm "in accordance with the law"? Maybe... maybe not... Obamageddon's "laws" maybe, America's LAWS... maybe not.

You know.. it would behoove the MCSD/MCSB to restrict SPLOST projects to a figure that can be realistically collected before the 5 year maximum time the tax can be collected. This way, promises could more realistically be kept. As it is, the previous SPLOST came in $49,000,000.00 short, and many promised projects (aimed at getting one-issue voters to vote "yes") never got off the ground. A good amendment to the GA SPLOST law would be to limit project amount to the total 1% revenues collected in the previous 5 years. Better yet would be to limit the project dollar request to, say, 90% of that. That way, the MCSD/MCSB could not make empty promises to buy votes.
---
There an additional urgency at stopping this SPLOST at the ballot box this time. If this passes, it basically means no future ones can be stopped if the MCSD/MCSB can select a non-general election date for a "special election". Contact your representative, especially the one that has donated to the " YES" committee, and let them know the current rules need changing..and not just the election date, but monitoring committee is needed that must examine the proposed SPLOST projects and cull any that are primarily "maintenance" based.
---
You know..just thinking about the MCSD/MCSB SPLOST project that would spend $312.00 per square foot on a wrestling building makes me think that this cost may be more than what the Taj Mahal cost per sq. foot.
---
One thing to remember about the MCSD/MCSB SPLOST projects... they are wanting to spend other people's money... yours and mine... and without accountability.

HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Unsettling issues plague US jobs report * Even though the unemployment rate fell to a seven-year low, there are some signals that the jobs market isn't as solid as it appears. * Unemployment in the U.S. has dropped to a seven-year low of 5.5 percent - a level normally considered the mark of a healthy job market. Yet that number isn't as encouraging as it might sound. * With Friday's report, employers have now produced 12 straight monthly job gains above 200,000. It's the longest such stretch since 1994-95. * The U.S. is easily outshining most other major economies. For example, the unemployment rate in the 19 countries that share the euro is 11.2 percent, or twice the U.S. rate. * Since the recession ended in June 2009, the percentage of adults working or looking for work has fallen to a 37-year low of 62.8 percent. It has hovered around the mark for most of the past year." -- Hmmm.. even the mainstream media is looking at the Obamageddon Common Crook math...Over 37%.. more than 1/3rd of American grown-ups are absent from the work force.. and we have no clue (other than this administration's continued concealing of the fact) as to how many adults' jobs are 30 hours (or less) per week.

Death alert... Went to see a movie last night.. "Kingsman: The Secret Service".. been looking forward to seeing it for several weeks.. it starred Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, AND Michael Caine.. beloved Michael Caine.. I'm still stunned at a movie that's on a par with Ishtar as the worst movie I have ever seen... I stopped going to movies starring Dustin Hoffman & Warren Beatty after Ishtar.. Now I am burying Michael Caine..this is a serious setback to me.. I loved Michael Caine movies. (Note: Samuel L. Jackson has been "dead to me" since those CRAPital ONE ads)..

---
On the other hand.. my bride and I loved "Mcfarland, USA"... even though it had spells of triteness.. it was very uplifting and fun.

Online headline: "Obama: Civil rights 'unfinished'" -- Yeah, Obamageddon hasn't finished destroying the civil rights of being an American citizen or a working American citizen.

---
Online story: "Vladimir Putin, by some accounts the richest man in the world, has ordered an across-the-board pay cut for government workers - including himself." -- Hmmm.. reckon we could get him as an interim School Superintendent?

---
From the "only in California... I hope" department - Online headline/story: "Airport has all-gender restrooms *
Lindberg Field in San Diego has installed twelve gender-neutral bathrooms throughout its terminals." -- Good grief... is this revenge for the "equal pay" movement? Now men must suffer standing in lines for "equal pee"...

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Gay Marriage Bans Are Unconstitutional, DOJ Tells Supreme Court" -- Good grief.. is Pric Holder so arrogant that he now dictates to the US Supreme Court what it's job is?

---
Online story: "Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan made a fiery speech Sunday in which he warned whites that a “day of judgment” is coming to avenge their “evil” and that African Americans serving in the armed forces should immediately withdraw and fight for their communities instead." -- Farrakhan has finally revealed that he is the "mother shipper" he's always claimed.
---
Online headline/story: "The undergraduate governing body of the University of California Bans the American Flag as ‘Offensive’ * The ASSociated Students of University of California, Irvine (ASUCI) have decided that the American flag is “offensive” and has now banned Old Glory from the “inclusive space” on campus." -- Hmmm.. how about a visa/citizenship check... how about giving the ASUCI free tickets home to protest their own countries flags..
---
There's an Islamic group in Texas conducting sharia law mediation courts. Excuse..we have a legal system established by our Constitution..if that's not good enough..take your legal business back to a sharia practicing country.
---
You know...one way to kick start the economy would be to get more money in the pockets of people in their late teens to middle, even late 20s. Just raising the minimum wage is not going to do that, but..if the young and their employers were given a reprieve/exemption from Social Security deductions (during their low income years), more money would be in the workers paychecks, and the employer would have more bottom line cash flow to hire one or more new employees.
---
I tell you what..if someone other than yourself opens up a credit account using your info, and a financial institution issues such credit without bothering to confirm the info is valid, then that institute deserves to eat the losses and clear up the mess it can cause you.

L-E story: " A Phenix City woman was sentenced to more than nine years in prison for her role in a tax scheme that used stolen identities for refunds that sought more than $3 million. * Carnesha Alexander also was ordered Thursday to serve three years of supervised release and pay $840,692 in restitution. * Robert Walker of Columbus was sentenced to serve almost eight years in prison on Feb. 5. He also was ordered to pay the same amount in restitution and serve three years of supervised release after the prison time." -- Good grief..is the IRS using "Common Core Math"? $840K twice is a long way from $3,000,000.00 and we very well know that neither criminal will pay back even that amount upon release. I think that the amount of money stolen from the taxpayers should be paid back before they leave jail.
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "FRANKly, the doubting THOMASes are nattering nabobs of negativism." -- This TAXing idiot needs to go back to SCHOOL.. preferably one that is not inFLUEnced by the MCSD.
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " If MCSD were Hogwarts, Paul Olson would be Voldemort and Frank Myers and John Thomas would be Lucius Malfoy and Peter Pettigrew." Hmm, and "yes" voters would be DOBBY clones.
---
I'm curious.. has it been more than two years ago that Mark Shelnutt was banned from entering Muscogee County for two years?
---
L-E story: "The organization created to push for a new education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax has produced three 30-second television commercials featuring three former school superintendent" -- Hmmm it would have been more truthful to use Nancy Pelosi's picture and her famous "Ypu have to VOTE for it before you can READ it" remarks.
---
From above L-E story: "Wellborn said his committee has so far raised about $140,000, “in a short period of time, which is pretty remarkable and very generous of the people of Columbus.” -- Hmmm you know, $101K was raised from primarily no-bid construction benefactors before the March 1st reporting date... sure would be nice if the donors of the next $40K would be identified before the election. You know, $140,000.00 is lot of money just to convince voters who would be happy to vote "yes" if the MCSD demonstrated accountability in handling finances and educating our kids. Why don't these folks just offer to pay the $100,000.00 Special Election costs?
---
L-E headline: "Treasury head plans steps to avoid debt limit" -- You know.. it's sad that the Treasury Secretary can find ways to utilize/manipulate available funds to keep the country "going" when he has to do so, but won't take good budgetary steps when money is plentiful..
