Soapbox Moment: $22 Trillion... $22,000,000,000,000.00... that's how much has been spent of government entitlement/help programs in the last 50 years.. The Great Society.. the War on Poverty.. don't tell me it's hard working taxpayers who are at fault for inner city blight.. and 15 of those 22 Trillion dollars have been spent since 1995. $22,000,000,000,000.00 is $4,000,000,000,000.00 more than our current National Debt.. and more twice what America has spent on all the wars we been in. Democrats say it's our defense budget that needs trimming, but we know better now.. The Heritage Foundation put these figures together. You know, if all the money spent on government entitlement/help programs had not been spent.. had not been wasted, American would be $4,000,000,000,000.00 in the black.. that's an entire budget expenditure of Obamageddon which means we could actually have a tax free year and be even going into 2016. Just think of how much of an economic boom it would be.. how many jobs could be created if the American taxpayer had the freedom to spend this $4,000,000,000,000.00 versus Congress or the president.

---
Will someone stick a sock in Alan Colmes' mouth! He's on TV blaming Republicans in Congress for not addressing inner city problems. Huh? Since when have inner city voters voted for Republicans to represent them? Why didn't the super majority Democratic Congesses under Johnson, Carter, Clinton, and Obamageddon address and solve problems rather than throw good money into worthless, vote buying entitlement programs?

---
So the baseball game in Baltimore was played without people in the bleachers..I'm not sure why this is such an issue, as many seats in many stadiums are empty

---
What's so hard about understanding God? He provides for the lowly sparrow..but, you'll notice, God does require the sparrow work for what He provides.

---
Good grief...now Hillewinsky is trying to hide behind some Canadian law that her sycophants are saying prohibits disclosing names of people who give $250,000.00 to our Secretary of State.

---
So there will a national rally for Freddy Gr(_* _)y? On what subject...resolving misplaced anger expression, or martyring another street thug? One minute of study of his rap sheet gives a good idea why he ran from the police.

Online story: "The size and scope of the symbiotic relationship between the Clintons and their donors is striking. At least 181 companies, individuals, and foreign governments that have given to the Clinton Foundation also lobbied the State Department when Hillary Clinton ran the place, according to a Vox analysis of foundation records and federal lobbying disclosures. Online story: "On Sunday, a New Black Panther Party leader using the name General Taco said members of the New Black Panther Party will hunt down and kill white people, The Blaze reported Wednesday. Saying that the future of the organization is “absolute total destruction” of what he called “white supremacy” and capitalism on the planet, General Taco said the group would hunt their “pink a**es down.” * Taco, whose name stands for “taking all capitalists out,” wasn’t finished. “Once [white people] die, we should dig ‘em up, and kill ‘em again, bury ‘em, dig ‘em up, and kill ‘em again, and again, and again!” he exclaimed, getting more agitated as he spoke. He justified his remarks by claiming white people have a “history” of pushing “crack, AIDS and unemployment” on black people in order to “exterminate” them. Taco’s call for racial violence is nothing new for the group. * On Sunday, the St. Petersburg/Tampa, Florida, chapter of the New Black Panther Party issued a tweet calling for the murder of white people. * “Kill these racist h**keys, these cr***ers, these pigs, these pink people, It has been long overdue!” the organization said on Twitter. * In a 32-page newsletter released in May, NBPP leader Malik Zulu Shabazz suggested that violence may be the most effective way to advance their agenda." -- You know.. where the hell are Obamageddon and the DOJ! Talk about hate crimes in the works.. Guess we should make General Taco .. use his his full name.. Taco Bell.. the Pit Chihuahua.. "Taking All Capitalist Out.. By Eliminating Learned Leaders"

---
Online headline: "Defense lawyers call on Tsarnaev's 3rd-grade teacher * In an attempt to shed light on what Dzhokhar was like as a child, his attorneys called to the stand Catheryn Charner-Laird. * 'Always wanted to do the right thing'" --Good grief.. this is about as pertinent as the jury being told that the Menendez Brothers in California were orphans....after they had brutally blown away their parents with shotguns!

---
Dueling headlines:
Online headline: "Baltimore Mayor Apologizes for Use of the Word ‘Thug’: * L-E headline: "Obama calls Baltimore rioters thugs, says entire country has work to do" -- Hmm... President Barack Obama and Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake both used the word in their respective responses to Monday evening’s violence in the city. Obama lambasted “criminals and thugs” while Rawlings-Blake said “thugs” are destroying the city they’ve worked hard to build up. ....The Baltimore Mayor just exacerbated the situation.. those thugs are what they are, and no one in power needs to give them any sympathy.. These inner city eruptions deny everyone due process.. even as we speak, stories are coming out that Gr(_*_)y possibly engaged in a self-inflicted action of throwing himself into the walls of the van he was placed in following detainment/arrest. It's a ploy often used by people with long rap sheets to make it look like a police-inflicted injury to get a plea bargain deal out of it.

---
Online story: "Mayor Kasim Reed is speaking out after violent protests in Baltimore, and the tough decisions a mayor has to make in those situations. * Reed said he is a longtime friend of Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. He called her a capable, competent and passionate mayor who cares deeply about her city.
* Mayor Reed also said he feels Atlanta is not the kind of city where you'd see that type of violence." -- Good grief.. is this a bit of "selective memory" or was Reed a victim of public education that eliminated the early 90s riots in Atlanta?

---
L-E headline: "Once-a-week garbage pickup issue arises again" -- You know.. I mentioned Monday that all my neighbors had two or more garbage cans/bags of garbage plus boxes and over-sized, over-flowing recycle cans on the street. Guess what, except for the recycle cans. all my neighbors have garbage back on the street 3 days later. Saving $8.00 annually is not a good trade off. We need a balanced budget law to keep Mayor TomLYINGson from spending money on whims and revenue-negative pet projects.
---
L-E story: " Columbus crime statistics for the first three months of this year as compared to the first quarter of 2014 show decreases only in homicide, burglary and auto theft, according to numbers released Wednesday. * As the Ledger-Enquirer reported April 11, the city had only two homicides from January through March — the year’s third slaying occurred Tuesday — as compared to five for the first quarter of last year. * “I’m most pleased to see the dramatic reduction in homicides so far this year,” Mayor Teresa Tomlinson, the city’s public safety director, said Wednesday. “The tragic murder we had yesterday was the first in 110 days. Among our multi-faceted efforts, we have partnered with many community organizations to combat violence, particularly domestic violence, which claimed 10 lives last year. We appear to have made some headway there." -- "I’m most pleased to see the dramatic reduction in homicides so far this year"? Please Mayor TomLYINGson, while every life is valuable, and most every killing is tragic, a drop of 1 is not "dramatic". Another has happened since the quarter ended, and summer is just around the corner.
---
L-E story: "There are a variety of ways to aid the homeless in Columbus. Drinking wine and listening to jazz is one of them. * The 2nd annual Wine Tasting Mingle at The Loft on May 15 will benefit the Homeless Resource Network. The event is 6-8 p.m. and the cost is $40. * There will be silent auction for prizes to bid upon. * Tickets may be purchased at HomelessResourceNetwork.org." -- Good grief.. a wine tasting fundraiser for one of the main reasons we have "homeless"... Hey. why not take a page out of the "Snakes" playbook.. bring in "homeless" as waiters and sommeliers so everyone can have "mingle".
---
L-E story: " Callaway Gardens said Wednesday it has hired someone with a background in both resorts and theme parks — including Dollywood and Silver Dollar City — as its new president and chief executive officer. He succeeds Edward Callaway. * William “Bill” Doyle III starts work on Monday and is being given the mission of keeping the 63-year-old, 6,000-acre nature preserve and resort in Pine Mountain, Ga., just north of Columbus, on the path to recovery after several troubling years of declining attendance and rising debt." --
"just north of Columbus"? Hmmm... sorta getting back to its roots...I remember when Callaway's slogan was "30 Minutes North of Columbus".. then the Steeplechase caused their britches to get too tight so the slogan changed to "A Hour South of Atlanta".. welcome back, Callaway.. I hope.
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "With all of these jobs these rich folks are creating, it’s hard for me to figure out which one I want." -- Hmmm... this one should ask. "Do I want the government to tax job creators and give me a portion of those taxes back as entitlements?" or "Do I want job creators to have lower taxes so they can hire me to a job that provides better than government entitlement "programs?".
---
Double extra stupid Jonathan Gruber LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Council is finally showing they will not be held hostage by the elected officials who continue to overspend their budgets without regard to other city services. Bravo." -- Huh? When did Council shove Mayor TomLYINGson's buget proposal back ih her face and tell her to present a balanced one based on revenue expectations? She's already raided our reserve balance to the point even banking supporters cannot help her.
---
L-E headline: "Baltimore lurches toward normalcy" -- Good grief.. if normalcy is what Baltimore is returning to, then we can expect these :theft surges" more often.

Wednesday, April 29, 2015

How can the Baltimore rioters be apologized for by politicians/pastors saying "it's about a lack of jobs"? Who the hell is going to open/reopen a business in Baltimore now?

---
You know...the Baltimore should drop off a few dumpsters, a lot of shovels, and a sign saying.."You know who you are..when you clean up after yourselves, we'll come back and fix things."

---
I'd thought I'd seen and heard it all when I saw Dumbo fly, but I hadn't until I saw the Mayor of Baltimore saying looting and rioting are part of a peaceful protest/demonstration.

---
"space to destroy"? Just for the record. when I criticize the Mayor of Baltimore for the way she restrained her police department to the detriment of Baltimore and its law obeying citizen, I am not criticizing the brave police officers. I applaud them for putting their life on the lines while their hands were tied behind them by the Mayor.

---
Online headline: "CNN Analyst Rips Baltimore Mayor: ‘That Statement Is So Absurd, I Don’t Know How To Respond’" -- Hmmm, too bad that more people are going to learn about this on my blog than hear it on CNN..

---
Black Guerillas? Looking at video of them throwing rocks at action restricted police officers made the Black Guerillas look more like ordinary gorillas.

---
What do the looters think they are getting by protesting, burning,, and stealing..? Change? Hope? Respect? Truth is what's going to on is making ordinary citizens feel sympathy for the police involved in the recent questionable police events

---
How can any so-called black leader, nationwide, not stand up and condemn the black rioters and looters publicly and promptly.
---
Online story: "Obamageddon said, ""We have seen too many instances of what appears to be police officers interacting with individuals, primarily African-American, often poor, in ways that raise troubling questions. It comes up, it seems like, once a week now," Obama said. He said although such cases aren't unprecedented, there's new awareness as a result of cameras and social media. "We shouldn't pretend that it's new."" -- Good grief.. more white people are killed by police officers in any given year (*).. police are sworn to protect the citizenry of this country, and they all want to go home at the of the day. Why do we not see/hear Obamageddon challenge the DOJ and court system to HELP local police. Just Monday in Columbus, our DA let two gun-using violent criminals plead to lesser crimes in a plea deal that will put violent felons back on the street years earlier than they deserve. How does this help our community or safety of our police officers?
(*): ""In 2012, 123 African-Americans were shot dead by police. There are currently more than 43 million blacks living in the U.S.A.," Bill O'Reilly said on his program. "Same year, 326 whites were killed by police bullets. Those are the latest stats available."

---
Let's not forget Chicago during this implosion...Last year there were 2,600 +/- shooting victims in Chicago..almost, if not all were black on black crimes. Can you believe number..2600 shootings..2600 people shot..either dead or wounded. You probably think it couldn't get worse...then you read that this year, shootings are up 47% over last year. The Chicago River may run green on St Patrick's Day, but it runs red, blood red, the other 364 days. What's even sadder is Obamageddon and Pric Holder tell us the last 6 years have been the "Golden Age of the Department of Justice". Hmmm..

---
That curfew in Baltimore...reporters were on hand to show no one was on the street...now, why weren't the Live-TV reporters arrested for being on the streets after the curfew hour?

---
In the next month or so, the US Supreme Court will rule on several pressing issue of our time.. OObamaCRAP is certainly one of these, but lets let the ruling on the validity of same sex marriages be settled, legally (we all KNOW where is stands morally), and go on with our business. My prayer here is for it not to be a 5-4 ruling with the "we know how "they" will vote" result.. Let's pray that it's at least a 6-3/7-2/9-0 decision... either way. Hmmm... You know.. if it is a Constitutional matter.. the Supreme Court should not be allowed to return a split decision..
---
You know.. the LGBT community could get more respect if they showed more respect. Blatant and obscene demonstrations do not curry mainstream America's sympathy.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Bombing trial turns to elusive sister-in-law * The trial of Boston Marathon bomber , (Bomber Brother 2) focused on his late brother's wife as the convicted bomber faces the death penalty." -- First, why has the jury taken more than 5 minutes to sentence Bomber Brother 2 to death.. secondly, why isn't the wife of Bomber Brother 1 on trial as well?
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "The 'Most Expensive Ice Cream In The World' Costs $817 A Scoop" -- Ooops, my bad.. thought it must be by Ben & Jerry & Elton..
---
L-E story: "The excitement in the Central High cafeteria was palpable on Tuesday night as the school introduced Bobby Howard as its new baseball coach. * In addition to his 12 titles at Columbus, his teams also finished runner up eight times, giving him 20 trips to the state finals in 31 years." -- Hmmm.. Columbus High's.. no Columbus's loss, is, well, Columbus' loss. Thanks Dr Lewis.... NOT!
---
L-E headline/story: "City dismisses first female battalion chief * Janice Bruner released after probe into Easter fire * More than seven years after she was promoted as the first woman battalion chief in Columbus, Janice Bruner was dismissed Friday after a two-week investigation found her untruthful on whether she responded to an Easter fire at Brighton Park Apartments. * By this Friday, the mayor said Bruner can come forward with information to lessen the severity of the city’s action. * “She also may be given opportunity to resign given her lengthy tenure with us and services at such a high level,” Tomlinson said." -- "opportunity to resign"? Good grief.. this is as bad as letting violent repeat felons plea bargain to lesser charges so they can get back on the street quicker! Mayor TomLYINGson needs to learn that mediocre personnel handling just breeds more of the same down the road.. just look at her 'past retirements/resignations'...
---
L-E story: "At the end of his presentation, Darr also took issue with a statement that Tomlinson made in her March 31 presentation about the police chief being the top law enforcement officer in the county. * "Regardless of what you hear or who you hear it from, if you look at the Constitution of the state of Georgia, the sheriff is the chief law enforcement," Darr said. * Tomlinson also took issue with that reading of the law.
* "In many counties, the sheriff is the chief law enforcement officer because there is no countywide police department," she said. "When you have a countywide police department, with the full authority allowed under Georgia law, then of course they are the chief law enforcement agency." -- Maybe we're "lucky" to be getting the Queen TT Lounge on the RiverWalk.. Mayor/Queen T.TomLYINGson (a.k.a. "TT") seems to want to get engaged in a p*ss*ng contest. Truth is, that the only two people in the county who can arrest a Mayor are the Sheriff and the Coroner.. no wonder she wants to see the CPD, her watchdog, as the most powerful.
---
You know.. if the Democrats cannot come up with any more candidates for president than Hillewinsky, maybe even the yellow-dog Democratic Party voters should question themselves about voting a straight ticket.
---
Jonathan Gruber contender for LIV of the year award - L-E "soundoff": " Smoking cannabis just makes you a better person. That’s just a fact." -- Good grief.. it's bad enough that liberals just pick "facts" out of thin air, but now they are pulling :facts" out of "smokey air".
---
A too wacko to be in a Jonathan Gruber LIV's category L-E "soundoff": "I never thought I would miss John Wells. Frank Myers is only interesting in creating controversy, being in the limelight and challenging our superintendent." -- Hey John Wells,, give it a rest.. besides, it was John Thomas who beat you...TWICE!
---
L-E headline/story: "BUDGET REVIEW COMMITTEE * Once weekly garbage pickup back before Columbus Council * Councilor Glenn Davis also expressed some reservations , but he made the point that since it’s in the budget, council would have to find the savings elsewhere." -- "find the savings elsewhere"? Well, let's start with City provided services that bring in zero or negative revenues. Shut down those facilities that not enough actual users provide enough revenue to keep them open.
---
L-E story: "The conference comes as the 2.5-mile urban whitewater course is starting its third year of operation. Last year it drew more than 25,000 rafters. Whitewater Express owners are hoping to significantly top that number this year. " -- You know, at .035% of $50.00 as an average trip that both PC and Columbus receive depending on the origin point of the sale, a maximum of $44,231.25 will be collected for fees. and the MCSD gets none of that because it's not a tax... That amount hardly justifies the amount of money the City contributed to the construct, and surely won't cover the additional costs of maintaining the RiverWalk area nor Chattahoochee River safety response/needs. Maybe some re-negotiation of the fee structure is needed.. hey, that might even take a chunk out of the (as the Mayor calls it) "budget shortfall". Of course, we all know it's just an improperly presented budget overage.

Tuesday, April 28, 2015

Online story: " A South Korean appellate court on Tuesday handed down a sentence of life in prison to the captain of a ferry that sank last year, killing more than 300 people." -- Hmmm.. bet this guy wished he ran a ferry under our Mayor TomLYINGson... if it happened here, he'd either have been retired and draw his pension, or reassigned to manage our inert landfill.
---
Bush43 has had it with Obamageddon. Bush43 has pretty much avoided comments on Obamageddon, but the negotiations going on with Iran have him concerned with what his grandchildren will have to deal with later. Bush43 must have remembered the immortal words of Popeye the Sailorman, "That's all I can stands, cuz I can't stands n'more!"
---
L-E story: "A 16-year-old Columbus boy told police he was accidentally shot in the left thigh last weekend after leaving a crowded birthday party on Doris Drive, according to reports * In a report, police said they were called to the 7000 block of Doris Drive Sunday at 1:15 a.m. in response to a shots fired call in the area * When they arrived, the victim told them that he and his friends were at a birthday party. He said they left because the party was too crowded and went to the parking lot next door to talk. * The teen told police that he saw a man sitting inside of a tan Cadillac with an Alabama tag shooting a handgun in the air, according to reports. That’s when everybody in the parking lot grabbed their guns and began firing their weapons, the victim said in the report" -- Good grief... I must have led a sheltered life.. I can't remember one birthday I attended at 16 where my friends brought their guns. In fact, I can't remember one birthday I attended at age 16 that was still going on at 1:00 AM. Guess they were coming home from a Midnight Basketball and Shooting Range practice.
---
Online headline: "Boston Marathon bomber's lawyer urges jury to spare his life" -- Why has the jury taken more than 5 minutes? Something else is bothering me.. a poll taken shows only 20% of Bostonians feel he deserves the death verdict.
---
Online story: "To keep their jobs, 554,799 American workers were forced last year to pay union agency fees.
* In the 25 states without right-to-work laws, unions can take mandatory “fair share” or “agency” fees from workers who decline union membership. Those fees often amount to hundreds of dollars per year." -- The 25 state WITH right-to-work laws are: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas,Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Of these states, only FL, IA, MICH, and WIS voted for Obamageddon, and of the 25 states without the R=right-to-work law, only ALASKA, WVa, and Kentucky voted for Romney. Does this not cement the incestuous relationship of unions and Democrats?
---
Online story: "Growing up in Oaxaca, a city located about 300 miles south of Mexico City, Arcenio and Noe Lopez’s parents tried to steer them away from using the indigenous Mixtec language. They wanted to spare them the sense of inferiority that traditionally came with being a Oaxacan. * But it wasn’t until the family moved to the U.S. that the brothers experienced outright discrimination from fellow Mexicans, which eventually motivated them to explore their roots." -- "it wasn't until the family moved to the US that the brothers experienced outright discrimination"? Whoa! Then or DOJ and Obamageddon have been importing discrimination! Deport them now...and the illegal Mexicans as well.
---
Online headline/story: "Kazakhstan ruler, lauded by Bill Clinton for democratic and human rights gains, wins re-election -- with 98 percent of vote * Preliminary results show Nursultan Nazarbayev -- who's ruled the former Soviet republic since 1989, and long faced accusations of vote-rigging -- scoring yet another landslide victory over nominal opposition. " -- Hmmm .. I wonder how much of our US Foreign Aid to Kazzakhstan ended up in the Clinton Foundation?
---
L-E headline: "Volume of yard waste from storm could cause delays in picking it up" -- Hmm.. This sorta shoots down any theory about one planned garbage pickup day being adequate.
---
L-E story: "The Muscogee County Sheriff's Office announced Monday afternoon that members associated with various criminal gangs issued a credible threat against all U.S. law enforcement agencies. -- Hmmm... Police Lives Matter! How about a public safety strike and divert all 911 calls to the Mayor during budget talks.
---
Hove you seen the notices about the Postal Service food drive... How do we know our food donations will get delivered before the expiration dates?
---
"Clinton Cash"... Wonder, not if, but when, she'll proclaim, " What difference does it make?"
---
Wow! Charity Navigator and Sunlight, two go-to organizations to check out whether charitable organizations are deserving of your donations, have pretty much thrown the Clinton Foundations under the bus. Sunlight went so far as to state that those Foundations operate as a "slush fund" for the Clinton's.
---
You know the "Clinton Cash" two step shuffle by Obamageddon's Press Liar of the week, Josh Earnest, should whet the appetite of even the mainstream media..but it won't.
---
Even mainstream media should question Obamageddon about whether he learned about "Clinton Cash" from reading about it in the newspaper or whether he had some email exchanges about it.
---
Online story: "Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho, city officials have laid down the law to Christian pastors within their community, telling them bluntly via an ordinance that if they refuse to marry homosexuals, they will face jail time and fines." -- Whoa! In a time that government has ordered God kicked out of our public schools, government trying to kick God out of our sanctuaries is even a bit much for even the most liberal politicians. Besides,, separation of church and state is a two way street guaranteed by our Constitution.. Good grief.. even witchcraft and paganism are allowed government protection.. why isn't God (as if He really needs it)? Of course.. HE's taking names and planning kick-ass responses.
---
Now we have to figure out ad to whether Obamageddon considers Loretta Lynch's swearing in a "BFD"... Surely he could have gotten some one of more importance to swear her into office.
---
The mayor of Baltimore..and I assume the Chief Public Safety officer, says she allowed the protests to happen unencumbered. You know, the Baltimore Police Department should GI on strike and have all 911 calls directed to her office. The public should initiate a recall election tomorrow.
---
Well, we know what the new AG's first case should be..the arrest and prosecution of the Mayor of Baltimore for dereliction of duties for allowing violent protests.
---
That Colorado mass murderer's trial..nobody should be allowed to plead "Not Guilty by reason of insanity' . The system should only allow a " Guilty but I'm claiming to be insane during my planning and action period of the murders", then prove he was insane by legal definition. All the evidence should be at his expense to prove insanity. The only difference in sentencing would be whether death or life without parole or reconsideration of sanity.
---
No where is liberal pessimism and bias more evident than the following two stories:
From the Kansas City Star - headline/story: "New Kansas job figures reveal another failure for Sam Brownback’s tax cuts * BY YAEL T. ABOUHALKAHTHE KANSAS CITY STAR * The final Kansas job figures are in for 2014, and Gov. Sam Brownback’s costly income tax cut “experiment” has laid another egg. * Total nonfarm employment climbed only 1,700 people in December, according to Tuesday’s release of figures from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. * Overall, that means Kansas added a meager 12,800 jobs from December 2013 to December 2014, or barely more than 1,000 a month. * That’s a puny growth rate of .9 percent, one of the lowest in the BLS data for 2014."
Now the Investor's Business Daily:
"From the New York Times to the Kansas City Star, Brownback’s agenda was denounced as a failure and a warning to others of what happens when you try to ride the Laffer Curve and cut taxes. * Here’s what you won’t read today: The tax cut is working. Labor Department data show job growth in Kansas tied with Utah as the fastest in the nation in February. * Back in 2012, Brownback cut the highest income-tax rate from 6.4% to 4.8% with the goal of eventually eliminating the state income tax entirely. The tax on small business income was zeroed out. It was denounced as “trickle-down economics,” though the state’s unemployment rate is now down to 4.5%. * “The number one complaint I’m hearing now,” Brownback tells us, “is we can’t find the workers. That’s a good problem to have.” * Where the jobs are really showing up is on the Kansas side of Kansas City. Because tax rates are lower in Kansas than in Missouri, the Kansas side of the metro area produced twice as many jobs as the Missouri side from 2012 to 2014. * Wages are also growing in Kansas. Before the tax cut, workers on KC’s Kansas side earned 40 cents an hour more than Missouri workers. Now the gap is $3."
Hmmm.. and taxes have been reduced...including the Kansas City Star reporter's, for which he didn't even thank the governor for.
---
A "really get's it" well-informed voter's L-E "soundoff": "Hey Columbus Council and MCSD Board: Will you respect us in the morning?" -- and no protection was used...
---
Triple-extra stupid Jonathan Gruber student's L-E "soundoff": "The poor, elderly and homeless are better off here in America than anywhere else? That doesn’t say much for the richest country in the world." -- Well, no one is stopping this (_*_) from moving wherever he/she wants to go. If he/she feels he/she is poor and deprived here, wait'll he/she gets "there" and finds what being poor really is..
---
Another of the aboce LIV's L-E "soundoff": " It is absolutely impossible to be a Christian and a capitalist as the same time. The two do not go together." -- Hmmm.. obviously, this soundoffer is neither, nor even knows what being a Christian is about. He/she has never prayed to meet a payroll.. Pray for him/her...
---
L-E headline: "Sheriff to appear before Columbus Council Tuesday" -- Hmmm....Sheriff Darr should bring in a few.. well a dozen of so prisoners awaiting trials and perch them on the front row.. then order all his deputies to vacate the Council Chamber. Maybe even Mayor TomLYINGson might realize the inherent dangers of cutting the Sheriff's budget.
---
L-E story: " Two men who once faced multiple felony charges in a 2014 home invasion that led to police shooting a suspect pleaded guilty to reduced charges Monday." -- Good grief.. one of Mayor TomLYINGson's legal buddies has arranged for violent criminals to get back on the street much earlier than they desrve, yet Mayor TomLYINGson wants to cut Public Safety budgets. I have two words for both the Mayor and DA... RECALL ELECTIONS!

Monday, April 27, 2015

Online story: "The Maura Pally, acting chief executive of the Clinton Foundation, is acknowledging the global philanthropy made mistakes in how it disclosed its donors amid growing scrutiny as Hillary Rodham Clinton opens her presidential campaign. * "Yes, we made mistakes, as many organizations of our size do, but we are acting quickly to remedy them, and have taken steps to ensure they don't happen in the future," she said. * Pally also described the foundation's work with the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership, which she said received funding from a separate organization in Canada. She said that partnership does not disclose its donors because under Canadian law they are not disclosed without prior permission from each donor.
"This is hardly an effort on our part to avoid transparency," Pally said. * That partnership has come under scrutiny because it is named after Frank Giustra, a Canadian mining billionaire who has donated more than $31 million to the Clinton Foundation since the mid-2000s." -- Hmmm...Frank Giustra... the guy the Clintons gave the uranium mining contract that is under the control of Putin.. Now Russia has 20% of all the uranium mined in the US. The Clintons have provided China with missile intelligence that gives China the capability to deliver WMDs to our country, and have arranged, quite profitably to the Clintons, for Russia to have control of one of the leading inventories of uranium from which WMDs can be built.

---
With the 2016 election kicking off, anybody interested in setting up a pool to pick the date Hillewinsky throws Mauar Pally under the bus?

---
Online headline: "Bomb sighting prompts Israel to start airstrike * Israel's military said it launched an airstrike on its border with Syria Sunday after troops saw 'a group of armed terrorists' with an explosive." -- Hmm.. now that's what you do when someone crosses the line you've drawn in the sand..Netanyahu for President in 2016!

---
HuffPOOPOO story: "Michael Ondaatje, Francine Prose and at least four other writers have withdrawn from next month's PEN American Center gala, citing objections to the literary and human rights organization's honoring the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. * PEN announced Sunday that the writers were upset by Charlie Hebdo's portrayals of Muslims and "the disenfranchised generally." -- Good grief.. Islamist jihadists have won! When journalists kowtow to an attack on the 1st Amendment, journalism is dead!

---
Columbus' Council has been asked to approve $325,000.00 for ammunition.. You know, if our Public Safety departments use that much, you'd think criminals wouldn't dare stick their heads outside. Oh, and that fewer criminals involved in shooting would ever get to a jail cell.

---
We could use some more prayers for our city.. In the week/10 days, 5 nursing students from GA Southern were run down by a semi, and this weekend, a 20 year old took his own life in despondency over an impending vehicular homicide case coming up. We have three local families who were impacted by the death of the nursing students, and two devastated families with the death of the 20 year old young man.

---
"Get's it" L-E "soundoff": "Any college students who would protest the United States by desecrating the American Flag should be immediately expelled. Not for exercising First Amendment rights, but for revealing how stupid they really are." -- Hey.. no worries.. they'll post this stuff on Facebook and future employers will discover this before hiring them.. ain't justice grand!

---
Jonathan Gruber double,,, no, TRIPLE-extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff: "How much will a hamburger cost if the minimum wage becomes $15/hour? The answer is fewer millionaire franchise owners and a lot fewer workers receiving government subsidies. We’re paying for the difference now." -- Good grief.. public education has failed the future.. $15.00 minimum wage's effect on hamburgers will result in millionaire franchise owners closing down shops to protect their interests which means fewer jobs, more unemployed, more government entitlements (which is the Democratic Party goal to get more LIVs registered to vote) AND higher hamburger prices as you'll have to go to a fern bar & grill to buy one.

---
Jonathan Gruber extra-stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Looking Back 50 Years ago: “U.S. Steps up Viet Nam Effort.” A reminder of a terrible mistake, just like Iraq and Afghanistan." -- In the late 50's/early 60's, US troops were sent in as "police" to help the French which had let its colonialism cause distress in Southeast Asia.. (BTW, the French are screwing up the Ivory Coast as we speak). We did not go there as an invading force.. Kennedy then Johnson escalated our actions.. Iraq is another story.. and should be used in comparison.

---
Looking on my street today, as I took my two oversized garbage cans to the street, one neighbor had two bigger garbage containers, 4 or five garbage bags of trash/garbage, and one of the new oversized recycle cans. The neighbor across the street had even more "stuff", including an overflowing oversized recycle container.. Can you imagine what our street would look like if this array was doubled because of a single pick-up day?

---
That earthquake in Nepal... devastating... mainstream media is quick to announce that many countries are sending teams to help.. it must be a team effort in mainstream media's mind. OK.. how many are contributing dollars like American taxpayers? The list gets mighty short, but mainstream media will not tell this to their audience.
---
L-E headline/story: "U.S. Rep: Baltimore protests ‘could have been worse’ * U.S. Rep. Elijah E. Cummings said the violence late Saturday that followed hours of peaceful protests over Freddie Gray’s death was caused by a “few people, mainly from out of town.” -- Typical racist Democrat's "view" of things.. the truth is.. protest should have been civil which would increase public sympathy "IF" the police were doing intentional wrongs. Now, who was there to protest what Gray was doing that caused his arrest? Congressman Cummings.. heal thyself...heal thy community!
---
L-E headline: "COLUMBUS HOUSING MARKET LIKELY TO SEE SALES CLIMB * Expect rise in prices, smaller home inventory through 2016" -- Good grief.. this scenario defines a "blip".. people who wanted to sell earlier and didn't (or put homes up for rent) are listing their homes now in hopes to regain/lessen some of the losses had they sold under more distressful conditions. Just the average prices of homes sold indicate that the implosion was greater in lower priced homes and people who survived by not selling have h\more hope now. The graph shows this..
HOUSING MARKET BY THE NUMBERS
GEORGIA (Muscogee, Harris, Chattahoochee, Marion, Talbot counties)
2014 Homes sold: 2,190 Average price: $168,003 Days on market: 155 List/sales price: 95.22 percent
2013 Homes sold: 2,117 Average price: $161,332 Days on market: 166 List/sales price: 95.01 percent
2012 Homes sold: 1,958 Average price: $159,953 Days on market: 172 List/sales price: 94.56 percent
2011 Homes sold: 1,849 Average price: $152,854 Days on market: 158 List/sales price: 97.56 percent
2010 Homes sold: 1,783 Average price: $158,639 Days on market: 141 List/sales price: 95.31 percent
2009 Homes sold: 1,849 Average price: $162,679 Days on market: 130 List/sales price: 95.92 percent
ALABAMA (Russell and Lee counties)
2014 Homes sold: 868 Average price: $150,889 Days on market: 147 List/sales price: 96.88 percent
2013 Homes sold: 993 Average price: $146,575 Days on market: 144 List/sales price: 96.23 percent
2012 Homes sold: 1,045 Average price: $150,718 Days on market: 145 List/sales price: 96.78 percent
2011 Homes sold: 1,122 Average price: $156,506 Days on market: 136 List/sales price: 97.47 percent
2010 Homes sold: 1,101 Average price: $153,811 Days on market: 138 List/sales price: 97.21 percent
2009 Homes sold: 1,209 Average price: $150,656 Days on market: 128 List/sales price: 97.57 percent
More than 5 months on the market averages is not a healthy sign or market.

Soapbox moment: Mainstream media and liberal cartoonist/commentators are trying to destroy the protection we want.. expect from our police officers.. Isolated incidences.. whether intentional or not, does not define our nations police officers' value to each of us as citizens. Adding to the problem is the way mainstream media has stirred up street violence with its "lynch mob mentality".. the right to due process by officers is vital, but officers, good or bad, are also entitled to such. I look back at that well publicized incident of an Ohio police officer retreating as a double-murder suspected advanced on him yelling "shoot me". No policeman should have to feel threatened that mainstream media will lynch him for protecting the lives, including his own, of other people in the vicinity of a criminal.
---
In an interview posted in the L-E with a local individual, a basic identity form is filled out one of the questions asks what the respondents "favorite quote" is/was: Today's respondent answered: " Favorite quote: I always come back to the words of my mother: “Treat others as you would want to be treated.” -- Hmmm. guess his mother was a more ardent reader of the Bible..
---
In the above interview/story, the number of 25,000 users is mentioned for 2014.. That's a lot larger than the number range I remember being reported as fee paid.. Guess either there's a St Francis-like "accounting error" OR, there are more people using their own rafts and kayaks for free than are booking trips that are paid.

Online headline: "Internal investigation into Brian Williams finds at least 11 more reporting 'embellishments' -- Good grief.. you know, since mainstream media is turning on its own, we may have a chance that mainstream media will actually investigate all the embellishments Hillewinsky has claimed about her accomplishments,, ,,,,, but I wouldn't bet my house on it...
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Obama Rips CNN, Speaks On Detained Washington Post Journalist Jason Rezaian" -- Wow.. leftist politicians attacking leftist journalists.. leftist journalists attacking leftist journalists... looks more like an incestuous relationship is consuming liberalism from both ends. I do have a suggestion, though trade Brian Williams for Jason Rezaian.. win-win.. Obamageddon can keep a promise, and Brian Williams will have a news story with documentation.
---
What a fun weekend I've had with my bride.. she patiently ...and actively .. joined in as my high school class celebrated our 50th Reunion.. It sure was fun seeing classmates, some for the first time in 50 years. Better news is that we're going to do another one in just 5, rather than 10 years. Hope I see all of them again...
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Obama Jokes That There Could Be Another 'Pot Smoking Socialist' In The White House" -- Hmmm... thinking that this thought is joke, and Obamageddon is just "joking" ain't no joke.
---
Online story: "The owners of an Oregon bakery learned Friday that there is a severe price to pay for following their Christian faith. * A judge for the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) recommended a lesbian couple should receive $135,000 in damages for their emotional suffering after Sweet Cakes by Melissa refused to make them a wedding cake. * As a result - Aaron and Melissa Klein could lose everything they own — including their home." -- You know... if you switched places.. reversed the circumstances, the Kliens would have been vilified as bullies for demanding a gay couple give up its civil rights protected by the 1st Amendment.
---
Online headline: "Girl Scouts to Allow Boys Who Pretend They’re Girls to Join" -- Good grief... I think I've bough my last box of cookies..
---
Online "headlie": "Eric Holder bids final farewell, heralds ‘Golden Age’ at Justice Dept." -- From a purely scientific perspective, I think I'd have to appraise Holder as the ultimate example of Einstein theory of the existence of a "Black Hole" in the history of justice in America.
---
Yesterday.. I traveled west on 12th Street fro 6th Avenue.. it hasn't been officially "remarked" but the temporary marling indicate it will still be a one way street. My question is that since Council has already voted to change bot 10th and 12th Streets back to two-way traffic, why is money being wasted on marking 12th St in the one-way mode?
---
I didn't watch Diane Panderer's interview, but I did see/hear snippets of it on a CNN show that was "just on" as I was lunching yesterday.. I think the IOC should rescind Bruce Jenner's Decathlon Gold Medals.
---
Some of Mayor TomLYINGson's financial industry minions are out trying to push her tax freeze agenda..I do not see how a smart money person can connect open and non-justified tax raises as economic boosts. The number of Columbus homes that have gone through bank repossessions in the last decade had been crippling, but if it were not for the tax freeze, our city, our mortgage banks, and our housing market would have imploded.
---
This week, Earth Day was celebrated.. Guess how Obamageddon celebrated it..flying Air Force One to Florida and burning 9,000 gallons of fuel.
---
Online story: "Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed voiced his opinion about the prison sentences in the Atlanta Public Schools test-cheating trial, saying the consequences should be “severe.” -- Hmmm. I agree.. don't any one say I disagree with all Democrats on all things,, Here's a great example of me supporting a Democrat with a good position... and I did it with Frank Myers on the MCSD SPLOST..
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Jesus said marrying a divorced person is a sin (Matthew 5:32). Any church’s stance on gay marriage should be consistent with its stance on marriage of divorcees." -- Hmmm... the good thing about being a Christian is that Jesus loves us, sins and all..He accepts our apologies when we repent and try..TRY to follow His path the best we can. He offers this same mercy to all who believe in Him and repent their old ways.
---
Jonathan Gruber double-extra-stupid factless LIV's L-E "soundoff": " The writer of “the poor … homeless … have it better in America than anyplace on Earth” doesn’t travel much. Western Europe has no homeless: EU counties provide housing for the poor. Repeating Fox News is not knowledge." -- Good grief.. one Google and you'll find this: "An estimated 3 million people are homeless in Europe * Source: Red de Apoyo a la Integración Sociolaboral (RAIS) 2010" How can the L-E sleep at night when they give credit for crap like this "Soundoff".. LIV's will actually think it is factual.
---
Double-double-extra stupid Jonathan Gruber LIV's L-E "soundoff": "For 30 years, with two children, in six different localities, trash pick-up once a week worked fine. Twice a week is an unnecessary luxury. Y’all need to get over yourselves and worry about something important." -- Good grief.. who can be for safer air and water but want garbage standing around their home for a week rather than 3 or 4 days.. especially when it only costs less than $8.00 a YEAR! I certainly don't mind paying for luxuries that cost so little.... and I do have to wonder if this "soundoff" came from Mayor TomLYINGson's staff...

Online headline: "Hawaii poised to become 1st state to raise smoking age to 21" -- Good grief... that'll curb it...NOT! Now Hawaii can fill its jails with college kids smoking a legal product. Hey, Hawaii, why not raise the age for using a cellphone to 21 or until a person can pay for it themselves rather than be on their parent's plan... also, and while you're at it, raise the age of voting to 25 so voters will experience the bite Democrats take out of their paycheck to fund programs that control their lives.

---
Online headline/story: "Colorado businessman blames 'stoned' workers for move to SC * When workers at his Colorado business went to pot, Mark Brawner said it was enough for him to roll out of the Rockies and head for South Carolina." -- Hmmm maybe Colorado should raise its age of smoking to 21, also... oh... that is the law...

---
Online story: "Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) proposed a bill this week that would block the courts from hearing cases that could legalize same-sex marriage, so Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) has proposed a (satirical) bill to block King from legislating." -- The Courts should block any more same-sex marriage cases.. for now.. as it's in the hands of the Supreme Court and a decision on its Constitutional status will be handed down by June.. On the other hand.. Democrat Polis, had exposed the Democratic Party's game plan of halting discussions by trying to silence opposing views.

---
It's upsetting that any university's students would have acted as the ZBT fraternity did to wounded vats in Panama City Beah Florida this week, but it's more so when it was revealed that the ZBT's are a Jewish fraternity. Someone fell asleep at the switch in relating the history of the importance of the US Army taking control of the Nazi death camps in WWII.

---
Be still my heart..I heard doubt about Hillewinsky pass the lips of Alan Colmes yesterday afternoon. He must be on a Kool Aid free diet at the moment.

---
You know..Bill and Hillary Clinton cannot be described as patriots under any circumstances. Illegal campaign money from the Chinese helped get Bill elected and Bill sold them top secret American plans for ICBM's capable of delivering WMDs to our country, and now we find out the Clintons accepted between $31M and $100M in foundation donations and speaking fees from a company to sell uranium to the Ukraine arm of Russia which will supply Iran with all it needs. Will some one other than David Axelrod or Ruth Bader Ginsburg please remind me what the definition of treason is? I'm sure selling your country out is in there somewhere.

---
Those emotional ASPCA ads asking for monthly donations....when was the last time do you think the National office of the ASPCA actually had a physical hand in saving some dog off the street? If inclined, donate to your local animal shelter.

---
You know, I have no reservations about a well qualified business oriented woman being elected as my president. Hillewinsky is not qualified.

---
Chelsea Clinton...we'll actually Chelsea C. Mezvinsky, son of a convicted embezzler, is defending her family foundation..Does any one else see the irony of this...how about the absurdity?

---
On a discussion on Fox, the question of why Democrats would support a liar such as Hillewinsky was raised. Good grief..how naive... just look at Obama..surely no one who voted for him did so because he was deemed honest,..trustworthy. It's really sad that Democrat voters would vote for a candidate who promises them a winning lottery ticket, knowing that their candidate is lying to them.

---
Why does Obamageddon still have daily press releases? For that matter, why do reporters still attend them? I mean, we know no truth will come out of anything said, and eliminating such would not lessen our knowledge of events, and the elimination would at least reduce tax dollar waste

---
Jonathan Gruber-esque LIV's L-E "soundoff": "I emailed the entire Columbus legislative delegation asking them to review the sales tax on utility fees. Not one responded. Mayor Tomlinson responded in less than an hour. Thank you, your honor." -- Doh? His/her point? Can't imagine a tax Mayor TomLYINGson doesn't support..
---
L-E story: "The accidental killing of two hostages in a U.S. operation against al-Qaida has put a new spotlight on the Obama administration’s reliance on drones in the battle against terrorism — and has also raised pressure on the White House to revise the nation’s oft-criticized strategy for dealing with abducted Americans and their families. " -- Hmmm.. looking for a new strategy.. Hey! Why not trade Bergdahl back for some hostages that weren't deserters...
---
Good grief.. the MCSD/MCSB just got a new SPLOST tax passed for upwards of $192,000,000.00 worth of maintenance and construction projects (BTW.. those maintenance projects are illegal under GA SPLOST laws), and now they want to raise our property taxes as well. There must be a new curriculum being advocated... called "Common GREED"..
---
Common Greed, too -- You know.. Dr Lewis was very specific at telling us there had been no MCSD property tax percentage raises in recent years, and that it would have to be revisited if the SPLOST failed.. what's his reason for doing this now. This is, more or less, a permanent tax increase
---
L-E's "Quotable": “There is nothing worse than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept." - Ansel Adams American photographer (1902-1984) -- Good grief...Ansel Willams just sent us a message, that he's finally heard a Democratic Party "sound byte" on how Obamageddon planned the introduction of OObamaCRAP.
---
Yesterday, I talked about a Robo-Call from the City telling us about an escaped prisoner in our area, and how the call came an hour after the prisoner had been captured after roaming our area for 3 plus hours, and how cheated I felt that the City paid many good tax dollars to install such a system that failed us..well, yesterday, we were alerted by social network postings that a huge army of police officers were combing Hilton Heights area... no Rob0-Calls.. and no mention I can find in the newspaper for the reason. Unconfirmed reports indicate a daylight home invasion..and an alert would have been appreciated by all those Hilton Heights residents.

Friday, April 24, 2015

For sanity's sake, Let's not look at Loretta Lynch as being confirmed as the next AG... Let's just think of it as Pric Holder being deported.
---
It's a little after 8:00 PM...we just received a Robo-Call from Columbus Consolidated Government alerting us to an escaped prisoner in our area. I immediately armed myself to be in position to protect my family. Then I went online and discovered that the prisoner had been captured at 7:00 PM after he had been roaming the area for nearly 3 hours. I am PO'd..Since the CCG has the capability to make phone alerts, why weren't we notified as soon as the prisoner was missing? We've had an escapee who may or not be dangerous, but we had no info on what was going on. The CCG spends big dollars, tax dollars, on public safety systems, and if this is what we're getting, Mayor TomLYINGson needs to step down.
---
For perspective... the above Robo-Call was akin to the weather siren going off 3 hours AFTER your home was destroyed by a tornado..
---
Update: About 10 minutes to 9:00, we got another CCG Robo-C
all telling us about recapturing that escaped prisoner. We deserve more for the money being spent!
---
Hmmm.. in Canadam an eight-year-old child was forbidden to take out a book and read while on a school bus... some BS thing about "safety". Well, some Canadian school system oughta be proud.. its students CAN read.
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Ex-CIA chief sentenced for leak" -- Hmmm, and why hasn't Pric Holder been sentenced for leaking guns across the border to drug cartels?
---
Obamageddon went on TV to express his condolences to the family of a non- US citizen killed, no, executed by a drone strike a few weeks ago.. Good grief..who actually would believe a liar saying he's sorry?
---
Why is Fox..and why are Republican strategists .. Looking for a Republican candidate that can "match up" with Hillewinsky? We don't need a "match" for Hillewinsky, we need an alternative!
---
Once again.. if a country received foreign aid from America, and that country made donations to Secretary of State's Hillewinsky's Foundation, then she should be charged and probably convicted to converting tax dollars to her personal use,
---
Online headline: " Fox News Poll: Rubio jumps to head of 2016 GOP pack, Clinton honesty questioned" -- "Clinto honesty questioned"? Good grief.. when has anyone ever even associated her with "honesty"?
---
L-E headline: "Suits against city have cost taxpayers almost $500,000" -- I'm sure all the lawyers collecting these fees will donate to Mayor TomLYINGson's next campaign.
---
Instant repeat: "L-E headline: "Suits against city have cost taxpayers almost $500,000" -- Rumor has it it that Mayor TomLYINGson offered to settle with two $244K Queen TT Lounges with name plates above each device.
---
L-E headline: "RANGER SCHOOL * Eight women soldiers survive first four days of Ranger School * Army has not altered the course’s difficult standards for the women" -- Hmmm.. "has not altered the course’s difficult standards for the women"? The L-E makes you feel that it is disappointed in this fact,, Good grief, does the L-E think...excuse me, think is not a well defined word at the L-E...uh, "feel" that the enemy will provide creature comforts and port-a-potties if our troops are women?
---
Jonathan Gruber double-extra-stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "The secrets to life are honesty and fair dealings. If you can fake these, you might become a good Republican." -- Gee... who'da known Hillewinsky has been a Republican wearing a jackass costume all theses years.
---
L-E's "Quotable": "It is difficuly to free fools from their chains they revere." Voltaire, French Author (1694-1778) -- Wow.. I do believe we have discovered the "Mission Statement" of the Federal Entitlement Programs.
---
In a L-E "letter", some interloper from Phenix City has unloaded the race card on the verdict/sentences of the APS teachers/administrators who cheated.. no conspired to bilk taxpayers as well as cheating students out of their education. Just as you cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, you cannot make victims out of people who commit criminal acts to enhance themselves.
---
L-E story concerning whether there are enough textbooks for every student to take home for homework: " In an email addressed to Myers, board chairman Rob Varner of District 5 defended Lewis:
“Your unsubstantiated and threatening comments, particularly in such a public forum, are vulgar, unprofessional and have no place in, what should be, a civilized discussion between our Superintendent and the Board of Education. Our Code of Ethics demands that we, ‘Communicate in a respectful professional manner … and be courteous with all district employees …’. Say what you wish, but at least show Dr. Lewis the respect he deserves as 30+ year, highly educated professional in the field of education. …" -- Hmmm I would love to see what Lewis has brought to Columbus' table from his previous stint in Polk County, Florida.. in fact I asked why he used pictures of Atlanta area school facilities instead of pictures from Polk County to compare to what he considered dreadful Columbus facilities.. I'm still looking for those pictures.
---
You know.. what's lost in this conversation is that $30,000,000.00 tax dollars has been available, but squirreled away to build an elitist Fine Arts school...
---
L-E story: "On the verge of exporting the first “Made in China” cars to the United States, Volvo is determined to show they are as good as vehicles it produces in Europe." -- Hmmm...wanna bet that when there's a recall for a "bug", it will be initiated by the NSA or CIA, not the DOT?

Thursday, April 23, 2015

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Obama Spends Earth Day In The Everglades, Taunting Republicans On Climate Change" -- Well, Obamageddon and the Republicans actually have something they can agree on.. "climate change"...of course, the Republicans want to concentrate on "climate change" in Washington, DC,.. which is actually something man can do something about in 2016.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Clinton Charities Will Refile 5 Annual Tax Returns, May Audit For Other Errors * Hillary Clinton's family's charities are refiling at least five annual tax returns after a Reuters review found errors in how they reported donations from governments, and said they may audit other Clinton Foundation * critics say the foundation makes Clinton, who is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, vulnerable to undue influence." -- You know.. there's another aspect, an even bigger problem here than what's being reported.. those government donations.. which countries are paying the Clintons? If any of those countries receive "foreign aid" from the US, and they send money to the Clinton Foundations, then US tax dollars are being diverted to the Clintons.
---
Hillewinsky is reviving the Clinton fall back plan on handling scandals.. The new book ,"Clinton Cash" is being trashed as a right-wing Republican conspiracy. Of, course, she doesn't actually refute the claims in the book.
---
That book.."Clinton Cash... It's not about whether Hillewinsky gave favorable treatment to countries/politicos in exchange for "gifts" to her foundation; it's about whether she used US assets in exchange for "gifts" to her foundation.

---
Online story: "The Senate unanimously passed legislation Wednesday to help the victims of human trafficking, ending a tortuous partisan standoff over abortion that also delayed confirmation of President Barack Obama's attorney general nominee. * The vote was 99-0 to approve the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act, which expands law enforcement tools to target sex traffickers and creates a new fund to help victims. The House has passed similar legislation and the White House has voiced support." -- While I'm not pleased with Lynch's confirmation guarantee, it will get Pric Holder out of the DOJ, and hopefully, Lynch will only serve for the next 21 months or so.. but I am concerned over the non-detailed "new fund to help victims".. this could be a money pit for tax dollars.

---
There's a new report showing growth of the SNAP food stamp program at a time when the economy is supposedly improving. This is an aberration. at best, but basically a condemnation of the Obamageddon administration's lack of economic grasp. One state's figures were more disturbing than most.. Washington State... liberal bastion.. home of two of the most dynamic and largest companies in the world.. Boeing and Microsoft.. Washington is also a state that has legalized marijuana for recreational use, and a $9.47 minimum wage ( with pockets of $15.00 per hour). ... Now.. the double-take... Washington State has a population of $7 Million yet 1.1 Million are participating in the SNAP (food stamp) program. There, in what can only be described as an experiment in liberal Utopia, 1 in 7 Washingtonians is on an entitlement program. Washington State should be the Republicans' "poster child" for how inefficient a government controlled economy looks like.

Online story: " An associate dean of students at the University of Virginia says a discredited Rolling Stone article caused her professional and personal harm by portraying her as insensitive and unresponsive to an alleged victim of a gang rape. * Nicole Eramo said in an open letter Wednesday that the magazine has not done enough to make amends for the damage it caused." -- Hmmm. and U-Va president, Teresa Sullivan has not made enough amends to the gender discrimination she inflicted on the entire campus fraternity system!

---
Those self-braking cars we see advertised.. they have possibilities of being potential life-savers. Right now, though, having a car with these system may be more dangerous for the driver/occupants. Example: you are driving on a street and an oncoming out-of-control car swerves into your lane and is going to hit you head on. That car stays at the same speed, while your car, sensing an object getting to close, successfully automatically brakes you to a complete stop. Now the other vehicle will hit you like a sitting duck.

---
McDonald's is closing even more in China, Japan and America stores than it previously announced was its goal. These are purportedly poor performing units, but McDonald's is more of a victim of its own designs.. well, redesigns. Remember when McDonald stores were bright. colorful, and eye-catching? So eye-catching that when your kids saw one, they screamed that's where they wanted to eat ( read: Happy Meal with FUN toy), and you pulled in to quiet them down.. well, now the stores look like they want to blend into the surrounding area. Going or gone are the Golden Arches... instead, some swoopy line that looks the same as a Midas or Mattress Factory outlet sign is the only attractant and kids want nothing to do with that, so they don't scream "stop", and parents gratefully drive on by.. Hey, McDonald's.. you need to stop and smell the McCafe!
---
Rumor has it that the Benghazi report will be published close to the 2016 velection time period. Speculation has it that the report will be named, "BenGOTCHA".
---
NOLA.. known the Sugar Bowl.. Bourbon Street, Mardi Gras, New Year's Eve street cocktail parties has just become another large city of blah... NOLA has now banned smoking , well at least tobacco and e-vapes, in bars..NOLA may become NOGO.
---
Good grief...that Islamist terrorist captured by the French had automatic weapons in his car and "plans" to hit Christian churches. It was also revealed that following the "Charlie Hebdo" assault, the French had officers guarding/protecting mosques around Paris but not Christian churches. That makes sense, doesn't it...NOT!
---
From the "what's actually worse" department ...what's worse, Obamageddon lying to the American people, or Democrats voting for him any way?
---
So, Obamageddon has ordered US Navy ships to the Gulf of Yemen ..purportedly to stop illegal arms shipments into countries supporting terrorism. I guess he feels it'll be even easier to "draw lines in the water" that disappear even quicker than the ones he free in the sand.
---
Online story: "Governor signs failing schools bill; opponents call it a gimmick " -- Hmmm.. I think I'd first be looking into the school systems the critics represent...
---
Online story: "Owners of commercial buildings in Atlanta will be required to keep track of the electricity and water they use and report the data under an sustainability ordinance approved unanimously by the city council. * The ordinance, developed by Mayor Kasim Reed’s Office of Sustainability, aims to reduce commercial energy consumption in Atlanta by 20 percent by 2030 and create more than 1,000 jobs annually during the first few years it’s in effect." -- Good grief! How can reducing energy use create jobs? New/more jobs are usually boosters of energy use! Just another blatant example of how Democrats have no idea how to create jobs or boost the economy...

L-E headline/story: "Civic Center gets "Bike Friendly" designation * The League of American Bicyclists has named the Columbus Civic Center a Silver Bicycle Friendly Business, making it one of only two entities in Georgia to earn the distinction this year. * The Civic Center currently offers covered bike parking, staff assisted bike repairs, free skate rentals, free popcorn at arena events, shower facilities and courtesy bike patrols." -- Wait a minute.. what's this "free" stuff.. ain't nothing "free".. it cost taxpayers, and the Civic Center is not a break-even operation to begin with. The Civic Center already gives Council and certain City employees "free" event tickets..what's next "free" buses to the Whitewater site or Natatorium where taxpayers will lose even more money?
---
You know.. bicycling is a form of transportation, and public money is wistfully spent on trails and such, but the state nor city receive any form of payment for such services.. how about a license tag for bicycles (as required of motorcycles and other vehicles), and a driver's license add on fee for using bicycles as well as cars/trucks? Oh.. and how about parking fees!
---
Instant repeat: L-E headline/story: "Civic Center gets "Bike Friendly" designation" -- Good grief.. wouldn't we be better off if the Civic Center was designated "profitable"?

---
L-E headline: "Suits against city have cost taxpayers almost $500,000" -- Looks like $500K Mayor TomLYINGson says she could save cutting back garbage pickups won't be enough to pay for her 'garbage" budget errors.
---
L-E story: "A proposal in South Carolina would add death by firing squad to the state’s list of approved execution methods. * The bill was introduced Wednesday and referred to the House Judiciary Committee. * Lethal injection is the default method of execution in South Carolina; inmates may also choose electrocution." --
Love it! For all those lawyers who seem to think it matters that a lethal cocktail injection be ;labeled for contents.. offering a choice between Winchester and Remington bullets simplifies the process.. Of course, if electrocution is the choice.. SC could offer nuclear, wind or solar...
---
L-E story: "Two Rotary Club teams, one of runners and another on bicycles, left the Columbus Convention & Trade Center early Wednesday morning to start the Columbus Rotary Relay to Jekyll Island — part of the International Rotary “End Polio Now” campaign." -- Wait a minute.. "End Polio Now"? I remember distinctlt when the March of Dimes declared polio was basically cured, and instead of disbanding, took on other causes of more emotional responses... other baby issues. Has the MOD just washed it's hands on what it was created to "cause: for, or was it an Obamageddon type "Mission Accomplished" lie?
---
L-E headline: "8M PHONE CALLS UNANSWERED AS IRS CUT TAXPAYER SERVICE" -- Bet most of those were looking for Lois Lerner.....

Online headline: "Extremist's arrest in Paris thwarts 'imminent' attack * France's top security official said police have arrested an Islamic extremist in Paris as he was planning to attack one or more churches." -- Amazing... amazing that American mainstream media heralds the French police for efficiency, when in effect, the jihadist had actually shot himself and called for an ambulance. Of course if this occurred here, mainstream American media and the ACLU would have been accusing our police of "racial profiling"!
---
Online story: "President Barack Obama will once again stop short of calling the 1915 massacre of Armenians a genocide, prompting anger and disappointment from those who have been pushing him to fulfill a campaign promise and use the politically fraught term on the 100th anniversary of the killings this week. * As a senator and presidential candidate, Obama did describe the killings of Armenians as "genocide" and said the U.S. government had a responsibility to recognize it as such. As a candidate in January 2008, Obama had pledged to recognize the genocide and at least one of his campaign surrogates, the current U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, recorded a nearly five-minute video at the time imploring Armenian-Americans to vote for Obama precisely because he would keep his word on the issue.
But, Obama has never used that description since taking office, mainly out of deference to Turkey, a key U.S. partner and NATO ally, which is fiercely opposed to the "genocide" label. " -- Good grief.. why would anyone believe Obamageddon would 1 - Keep a promise made to get non-liberals votes. or 2 - to say anything about Islamist slaughters. Obamageddon won't call ISIS Islamist, won't call Pric Holder or Al Sharlatan racists, won't call Bill Ayers a terrorist, and won't even count Americans who have given up on looking for a job unemployed.
---
Online headline/story: "DEA Chief Michele Leonhart To Resign Amid 'Sex Party' Scandal, Policy Disagreements * The embattled head of the Drug Enforcement Administration will resign next month, Attorney General Eric Holder announced Tuesday." -- "resign next month"? Good grief.. does she need that much time for Holder to make sure any administration incriminating e-mails are erased? What's with this administration.. no private tax-producing industry fires people "next month"..some security personnel would stay with her in her office as she packed her personal items and escort her out of the building.

Online story: "PBS is conducting an internal review following revelations that producers of "Finding Your Roots" may have violated the network's editorial standards after a request by Ben Affleck that the program not reveal he had a slave-owning ancestor. * Meanwhile, Affleck has expressed regret for seeking to have the information omitted from the episode that featured the actor and aired last October." -- Good grief.. why is there such "racial profiling... racial discrimination... racial guilt" for what an ancestor did when it was "legal" during another era of American history? This would not be uncommon among descendants of early American settlers. Besides, ABC News had no problem with "Obama's great-great-great-great grandfather George Washington Overall owned two slaves, a Baltimore Sun study found, based on 1850 census records." HuffPOOPOO headline: "Fresh! 16 nature-inspired baby names for Earth Day" -- Bay, Brook, Canyon, Dale, Delta Dune, Eartha, Forest, Glade, Lake, Marsh, Meadow, Moss, Ocean, River, and Terra. I'd scratch my head... squint my eyes, and hold my tongue as best I could for 15 of these names, But.. BUT if any of my grandchildren are named "Glade", like the room air freshener, , I'd disown his/her mother, and neuter the father.

Correction to statement I made yesterday.. the CHS, HHS, BHS 40th Reunion will be held on the Walking Bridge at 14th Street Saturday night, not the Dillingham Street Bridge as previously stated. I do profess my previous info was provided by a purported... no, like the L-E would say, "allegedly" knowledgeable source... and he hadn't been drinking.. an Uptown Columbus rep "corrected" me, but still that source of info made errors in facts by saying the Frogtown Hollow Jam being held at Woodruff Park is a mile away and the events won't overlap.. hmmm.. since when have 3 blocks become a mile, and since when have 3 blocks stopped party goers from mixing? Hmmm.. you know, if the $244K Queen TT "Lounge" were finished, both parties would have a common meeting place.
---
With a tip of the hat to a fellow BCer: Remember the KFC Hillary meal deal.. two small breasts and two large thighs". Well, rumor has it that KFC is going to offer the "Obama Cabinet Bucket"... nothing but left wings and chicken sh*t..

Online story: "The Smyrna City Council voted 7-0 to approve purchasing 75 body cameras for the city’s police department at a cost of $68,140 at its meeting Monday." -- $908.00 each? A top of the line "Go Pro" body camera and a chest harness goes all day on line for about $500.00... This reminds me of Security System sales when the Stocking Strangler terrorized Columbus.. installation costs doubled.. even trebled in some situations as sales reps basically kidnapped our safety concerns and charged outrageous rates... simply because they could as our emotions were being "kidnapped".
----
Online story: "Gov. Nathan Deal said he plans to sign legislation Tuesday to allow a state takeover of "chronically failing" schools and set up a statewide vote in 2016 to authorize the move." -- Hmmm, just a bill allowing counties to initiate a recall the entire school board by election option at county expense would be more effective.. and cheaper.
---
Online story: "We clearly haven’t heard the last of the religious freedom bill in the General Assembly. * Last weekend, delegates to 11 Republican congressional district conventions across Georgia passed a resolution urging the legislature to pass a religious freedom measure that cleared the state Senate early last month but died in the House of Representatives. * Grassroots Republicans sent a loud and clear message to elected leaders Saturday,” said Sen. Josh McKoon, R-Columbus, the legislation’s chief sponsor. “To honor the promise of the First Amendment, I intend to carry that message back with me next year to the Gold Dome.” -- You know.. if media, even the Republicans referred to the bill correctly, there would be less turmoil created. It is truly a civil rights issue to allow private citizens to afford standing up for their rights and beliefs under the due process guarantee of our Constitution... rather than mainstream media public lynching.
---
Online story: "The State Department on Monday would not rule out giving Iran up to $50 billion as a so-called "signing bonus" for agreeing to a nuclear deal later this year, " -- Good grief.. why not just put a $25 BILLION dollar reward out for the destruction of all Iranian nuclear development sites, and let Israel collect it? That's a Win-Win for the world and we'd save $25 Billion!
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Congressman Bishop is correct that America is losing its focus and will continue to do so until we hold our scientists, engineers, etc., in at least as high status as we do athletes and entertainers." -- Well.. it won't start until we hold Congressman to their promises, and individual citizens become responsible for their own lives.. that will not happen until Democratic Partyy politicians are eliminated, and government entitlement programs are limited to hand-up versus hand-out status.
---
Jonathan Gruber extra-stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " We are only paying $15 a month and I think that’s worth it even if it is once a week. I think that’s the best thing Mayor Tomlinson has come up with lately." -- Good grief.. to begin with Mayor TomLYINGson did not come up with the garbage fees being tacked on.. (I still believe they are illegal under GA law for city status as such require the local government to provide police/fire and garbage services to get City status), but that is not the issue.. The issue is how picayune Mayor TomLYINGson's evaluation is.. she doesn't want to save money.. she just wants to divert more money to spend on what she wants.. Taking away garbage service to save residences $6-to-$8.00 ANNUALLY while giving up twice-a-week garbage service is not a good deal. As you notice, she cannot tell us how these saving will be realized, as it will still take as many trips to the dump since as the same amount garbage will have to be picked up and disposed of whether it's done once or twice a week.
---
L-E story: " (Mayor TomLYINGson's police)pay plan, which is the product of a commission that included leaders in Mayor Teresa Tomlinson’s administration and representatives from the police department, involves giving police officers regular pay raises at different intervals. * Officers would receive a $750 raise after one year, another $1,000 after three years, $1,200 after five years, another $1,500 at seven years and again after 10 years. Thereafter, they would get a $1,500 raise every five years, with the final hike coming in their 30th year. In total, the package would provide $11,950 in pay raises over the 30-year span," -- Hmmm ...Since the current goal of the CPD is 513 officers, $11,750 per 513 equal, $6, 027,750 dollars over starting pay for a 30 year period. Just think...if the $750,000.00 payout from the Public Safety LOST to the Crime Prevention Committee for inane grants were put into an account, more than enough pay raise funding would be accumulated in only 9 years.
---
L-E editorial comment on Russell County's sheriff's opinion: "Taylor prefers the idea of merit raises. The sheriff knows, of course, that such a policy is sometimes a no-win proposition for both government and private management, but especially the former, because it's public record. But Taylor will take the heat. * "Give me a sum of money and let me decide how much each employee gets," he said. "... Some will get 5 percent and some may get zero. That is the only fair way to divvy out raises." He's absolutely right." --
Good grief.. in a privately run business,, yes, the man running the office should have discretion to pay workers as he sees fit.. it's his, or her, business, and decisions mean whether a profit is made.. Not so in public offices.. tax and fines are it's revenue sources, and giving a public official such power of the wallet for personnel means that individuals can get favored treatments for bringing the most fines (speed trap!), or for just being a friend of the public official.

L-E story: "AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn spent more than $1.67 million for its eight days in Tampa, Fla., for the Outback Bowl. That’s according to an expense report released by the athletics department Tuesday.
The total for the trip came out to $1,671,722.59. The biggest expense was in the form of lodging and meals, which cost $924,687: $761,548 went to the team and staff; $132,899 was for the band and cheerleaders ; and the remaining $30,240 was set aside for the official traveling, which included members of the university faculty and other athletic department representatives." -- There are a myriad of other expenses as well to get to the $1,67 Million spent/charged/whatever, but it goes to show how easy it is to not be concerned with expenses when you're spending "other people's money". How many people were part of the football/band/cheerleader groups.. 250 +/- ?. Let's just say 300 to be on the safe side.. That $1,67 million would be an average of $5500.00 per person ..

Online story: "Walmart laid off 2,200 workers last week after temporarily closing five stores for plumbing repairs. Workers aren’t buying that rationale. * Wal-Mart workers are fighting back against the retailer’s decision last week to close five stores in four states for what the company says are plumbing repairs.
* Workers at the company’s Pico Rivera, Calif. store who are associated with OUR Walmart, a group that advocates for better pay, say the closings are “retaliatory” in nature. They filed a charge with the National Labor Relations Board on Monday, claiming that the termination of more than 500 employees at the Pico Rivera Walmart constituted an unfair labor practice. * Last week, the retail giant, which employs 1.3 million workers in the United States, temporarily closed five stores—two in Texas and one each in California, Florida, and Oklahoma—for six months of plumbing repairs. The stores closed at 7 p.m. on April 13, which gave workers just a few hours notice that they were losing their jobs. The company provided two months of paid leave for both full-time and part-time workers. Employees could try to transfer to a different Walmart location during that time. Full-time workers who fail to find another Walmart job are eligible for severance starting June 19," -- Good grief.. Walmart has about 5,000 stores in its business and is taking measures to fix 5 of those rather than close them for good (take note MCSD!). What's going on with workers is purely political parrying by unions (can we say "Democratic Party foils"). The average store for Walmart does about $1 Million is sales WEEKLY.. shutting down 5 stores for 6 months will COST Walmart about $130,000,000.00 in sales volume (not.. NOT profit). Walmart does not take shutting down for maintenance lightly and is making compassionate moves to help even its part time workers (who, BTW, could be taking other jobs and still get the 2 month paid leave. Unions are becoming the terrorist state equivalence of ISIS.. perhaps we should identify unions as "USUS".. Union State of Union SH*T... with a slogan of "Us for US".

Online headline: "Iowa hit hard by bird flu" -- Ooops my bad.. thought some of the S*** Hillewinsky left as she "flew out" had finally been analyzed for its true content.

Local disaster alert!.... There's an impending nightmare coming downtown this weekend.. The Frogtown Hollow Jam event was scheduled last weekend but moved to this one because of weather. Well, there's a 40th combined reunion scheduled for one night for Columbus , Hardaway, and Brookstone alumni being held on the closed Dillingham Street Bridge.

Have you picked up on the conversation going on recently about more concern that the next wave of terrorism will increasingly be in the US..Good grief...how much more terrorism can be added to the terrorism of Obamageddon's and Pric Holder's and the IRS directives?

---
Passed on by a fellow BCer.. it's a "must watch" (less than 4 minutes) if you think you are reasonably informed of what's going on.. It demonstrates my concern about government workers being allowed to vote for people who control their pay checks.

Online story: "Michelle Nunn, a philanthropy executive who was defeated in a bid for the U.S. Senate last fall, will become the next president of CARE USA, a major international humanitarian organization, the group said Sunday." -- You know... there was reasonable value for Michelle Martin to run for a GA Senate seat using her father's name/connection, but what possible benefit is dropping her husband's name to head a non-profit? Unless you consider how she will pimp her father's name to hit up his associates for donations....

Online story: "New reports have suggested that Obama is preparing to push for slavery reparations in 2016.
This shocking plan was revealed by Fox Business News host Charles Payne during Thursday’s episode of Making Money. * “The news is a glimpse of much bigger news that is going to come from the White House, next year, I’m leaning towards,” Payne said, after talking about news in Chicago. “I think that there’s going to be an official apology from the White House to slavery in America and then a major push to get cash, and I’m talking lots of cash.” -- Hmmm... I've got an idea... let's approve reparations....but with a couple of caveats.. anyone applying/accepting such must repay all government financial assistance received in the last 50 years which was suppose to assist in their growth to mainstream America. Further, all repayments be credited to the taxes IRS currently collects from those who funded the previous entitlement programs, and all government entitlement programs be ended.

Online story: "people are just playing games"? Good grief.. Hillewinsky is the biggest game player in American politics.. and just getting warmed up.. David Copperfield has never created an illusion that compares with Hillewinsky's ability to make her past disappear into thin air.

L-E conditionally true "headlie"/story: "RANGER ASSESSMENT PHASE * BREAKING THE MOLD * Female soldiers pass Ranger PT test at higher rate than males * A class of 399 soldiers started the physically and mentally challenging 62-day course to become U.S. Army Rangers, among the nation’s elite warriors. What was different was 19 of the soldiers were women, the first time in the more than half-century history of Rangers that the training has been opened up to females. * The weeding-out process began early, with 81 soldiers failing the physical assessment test and being released from the class. Of the 81 who failed, three were women, making the early failure rate 21 percent for men and 16 percent for women." -- While complements are due to the qualifying women Ranger candidates.. comparing failure percentages is sorta outrageously gender biased. Many steps to identify the female soldiers most likely able to handle to rigors of Ranger School eliminated many candidates before they were invited to try to qualify. Let's just applaud these women for what each is accomplishing, but let's not compare apples to oranges.
---
L-E headline: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD * Board approves revised calendar * Calendar approved unanimously after heeding complaints" -- As far as three-ring circuses* go, this a major victory for students and parents, but it's only a battle won.. not a war victory. School still starts too soon, and the plethora of "breaks" are basically long weekends for school personnel, but headaches for parents who have to find alternative child care for these extra "off days". Victory will not come until schools start back in September so families get full summer time to plan vacations, and taxpayers get a break from running air-conditioned schools during the hottest month of the year.
---
I just have to comment.. why is the "March of Dimes" still in existence? It was created to find a solution to polio... that happened, and we were ecstatic.. Not having that as a donation hook, the March of Dimes recreated itself to keep it's ravenously expensive collection jobs in business, but can anyone tell me what the March of Dimes does now other than collect money, take it's huge share out and redistribute what's left to other foundations? If you are interested in any cause the MOD sends money, then just make a donation straight to that organization and get more for your donation money.
---
In the L-E "letters" section, a too oft printer liberal writer from Georgetown embellishes 1 Timothy 6:9: “the love of money is the root of all evil.” That's funny considering that the writer loves other people's money so much.
---
In a Chuck Williams' column today, he makes the observance that:
"There is a discussion taking place in our community.
It is happening on multiple levels. It is serious and it is timely.
The homeless issue in Columbus and the Chattahoochee Valley is not going away — not even close.
Over the years, a task force has led to an umbrella group called Home for Good, which has been incubated by the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley." -- You better believe its not going away.. not as long as Jthere are agencies that campaign for donations to "solve it". Just like the March of Dimes I mentioned earlier.. no campaign organization wants to eliminate its own jobs.

Online headline: "Reports: Tim Tebow to return to the gridiron" -- hmmm... let's see... no, let's pray..let's hope.. that mainstream media treats him better than ISIS treats Mid-Eastern Christians.

Online headline: "Democrats outline possible paths to beat Hillary for 2016 nomination" -- Hmmm.. they forgot to mention "banning Kool-Aid", and "vote Republican".. two ideas that will actually work.

So Hillewinsky flew "coach"... Mainstream media credits her as getting in touch with voters..Personally, I think she got confused and thought " Coach" meant the seats were designed and made by Coach Leather works.

Instant repeat: "So Hillewinsky flew "coach"... " -- Well, with a little luck, it'll turn back into a pumpkin before November 2016.

From the "things you run across on the I-Net.. even FaceBook by accident" department: The following link takes you to an August 6th Opinion piece, that, I'm sure.. would not have been picked up by the Columbus L-E. It's from "Superintendent Clowns of America",

Online headline: "Atlanta Public Schools educators vow to fight sentences" -- You know.. all this could have been avoided if:
1 - These teachers had vowed to fight the urge to cheat.
2 - These teachers had vowed to fight for their students.
3 - These teachers had vowed to honor their college's name.
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Perhaps there could be a special tax on companies that outsource their jobs and services outside the community, decreasing jobs and revenue as well as the tax base, and placing budgetary problems on government operations." -- Hmmm guess Mayor TomLYINGson's "balloon floater" doesn't realize that "Char-Broil" is the biggest overseas-job-shipper in town and her biggest supporter when you tie in all the Bradley Company connections with other businesses in Columbus.
---
A Jonathan Gruber prodigy LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Us “ignorant” Democrats appreciate a former enemy who extends his hand more than a “friend” like Netanyahu who stabs us in the back while trying to drag us into another Gulf War." -- Hmmm....Aside from the incoherent verbiage, the improper use of punctuation marks, and complete lack of political history in the Mid-East, the writer hasn't lost the ability to display his mental handicap.
---
L-E story: "This time, Hillary Rodham Clinton wants to be on liberals’ good side. * As a presidential candidate in 2008, she opposed gay marriage, equivocated on granting driver’s licenses to people who were living in the U.S. illegally and endured heavy criticism from rival Barack Obama over her stance on campaign finance." -- Good grief.. where will Hillewinsky go with this? There's obviously no more room left of Obamageddon.
---
Did you see the Darrin Bell Editorial cartoon (Wash Post Group) in the Columbus L-E today? I cannot get the picture to copy/paste , but worth a look.. Has a big "Heil Hillary" "H" sitting on a wind/weather vane. I added by own caption: "Looks like the logo of a Hillewinsky campaign advertising infomercial trailer, "Not Gone, Just Blowing With The Wind" starring Heil Hillary and Rhet Holder as a mustachioed gun runner.
