Online story: "In a direct challenge to the White House, a Senate committee
is to vote on a bill that would give Congress a chance to weigh in on any final
nuclear agreement that can be reached with Iran. * The White House doesn't want
Congress to take any action that could upset the delicate negotiations that are
supposed to wrap up with a final agreement by the end of June." -- Hmm.. "direct
challenge to the White House"? You know.. I guess mainstream media could look at
it this way.. but Americans who love this country, and their liberties won by
our founding fathers look at more as defending our Constitution.

Online story: "FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Channel 2 Action News has confirmed the
prosecution and several defense lawyers in the Atlanta Public Schools cheating
trial have discussed deals that would allow the school officials to avoid time
in state prison. * Channel 2 investigative reporter Mark Winne learned that the
Fulton County District Attorney's office has talked with most of the defense
lawyers to negotiate an agreement on sentences each side will recommend when
Judge Jerry Baxter takes the bench Monday for sentencing" --
"to avoid time in state prison"? That's exactly why they need to be
sentenced to prison... to apologize in person to former and future students
they've cheated on and sentenced to prison because the students weren't taught
how to survive once they were graduated.

One of the Fox News contributors summed up Hillewinsky in a nutshell, "Hillary has had more makeovers than Madonna"...

Good grief.. Jodi Ari(_*_) was entenced to "life w/o possibility of
parole".. death would have been more appropriate, but the judge should have
tacked on "and without possibilities of any movies being made about her".

According to Cleveland Police, a 3 year old shot and killed his 1 year old
brother with "an unattended handgun". You know.. the worst tragedy will be
liberals blaming the gun. Some adult left it out, no "safety" engaged.. but what
I want to know is how a three year old held up a heavy handgun, aimed it, and
was able to pull the trigger. I know I'm not going to do this, but I really
would like to unload my handgun, give it to my 3 year old grandchild and see if
she could even pull the trigger on it. There's got to be more to this
story..
---
Another thought.. untrained adults probably couldn't hit a person a few
feet away if they haven't ever shot a handgun before.. Most people jerk the
trigger making the gun aim far left of the target.

Online headline/story: "Hillary Clinton traveling by van to Iowa for first
events of presidential campaign * When Hillary first told us that she was ready
to hit the road for Iowa, we literally looked at her and said, 'Seriously?' And
she said, 'Seriously,'" said longtime aide Huma Abedin in a conference call with
Clinton alumni. "This was her idea, and she's been really excited about it since
she came up with it. * A Clinton aide said the van is nicknamed "Scooby" after
the Mystery Machine van in the 1970s animated television show, "The Scooby Doo
Show." The aide said Clinton was a passenger and the van was driven by the
Secret Service." -- Good grief.. what dramatics, but I guess when you have no
accomplishments in your past, making a decision to travel by van seems
monumental to Hillewinsky's staff...Oh, and other than it's more than
appropriate for her van to be named "Scooby Doo", . especially the "Doo", I do
have a couple of questions to ask.. 1 - "Will Bill travel by van, as well, and
will his have "Astroturf" on the floor in the rear?", and 2 - "How many vans
will it take to transport all the entourage and Secret Service attendants?", and
"Will the van she travels in be designated "Air Farce 1"? Oh.. and will all the
vans be "bullet proof" (not that mainstream media will be "shooting for
her)?

Hillewinsky flew a million miles around the world as Secretary of
State...and got nowhere. She radically out vacationed Michelle Obama.
---
Hillewinsky has a big dilemma...Bill..she can't win without him, and she
possibly cannot win with him..Whenever Bill lies about her importance to him,
we'll conjure up pictures of him with Monica, Gennifer et al instead of
her.

Online story: "Although Obama personally praised his former Secretary of
State during a press conference Saturday, White House spokesman Josh Earnest
said Monday that he’s not offering a full-blown endorsement of her nascent
presidential campaign just yet." -- Whew.. talk about "Freudian slips"... First,
does either Obamageddon or Hillewinsky even want to be associated, but Secondly,
if Obamageddon says he endorses her or anyone else, will anyone believe
him?

Online story: "According to a new study from researchers at the University
of California-Berkeley, the government spends $152.8 billion a year to support
working families.* In a research brief released Monday, Ken Jacobs, Ian Perry,
and Jenifer MacGillvary find that 73% of enrollees in public support programs -
such as food stamps - are members of working families, which the study defines
as families with at least one member working 27 or more weeks per year and 10
hours or more per week. * The Berkeley report argues that higher wages and
employer-provided insurance would "allow all levels of government to better
target how their tax dollars are used." -- Our government "defines working
families" as (a group) with one or more members working 10 hours a week for 27
or more weeks per year? Good grief.. I realize that there are certain
physical/mental handicaps/conditions that affect a small percent of "working
families" , but other than those.... what's scarier is that this is a "Berkeley
report".. and includes such tripe as "higher wages and employer-provided
insurance would "allow all levels of government to better target how their tax
dollars are used." -- wait a minute.. what if we eliminated federal government
jobs other than our military.. private businesses would have oodles of money to
hire people who would seek work because the federal government wouldn't be
doling out pittance that keeps them on the hook for next months government
pittance....

Online story: "The White House was put on lockdown Sunday -- but this time
it wasn't because of a fence jumper, it was a four-year-old. * A spokesperson
for the Secret Service told CNN "4-year-old child climbed under (a) temporary
bike rack along Pennsylvania Avenue. Child was fine and was safely reunited with
parents." * Though the unnamed pre-schooler was never a real threat to the
president, the innocent incident was enough to trigger a brief lockdown of his
residence." -- " pre-schooler was never a real threat to the president, the
innocent incident was enough to trigger a brief lockdown of his residence"? Good
grief.. no wonder third-world kooks challenge Obamageddon's policies.. the
proximity of a toddler presents a threat to Obamageddon's caretakers..

L-E headline: "MACRO RUBIO ENTERS RACE FOR WHITE HOUSE IN 2016" -- Oh.. did
anyone see a headline in a last week's L-E announcing that Rubio would be
announcing his candidacy on Monday.. you know.. sorta like the headline in a
last week L-E that mentioned Hillewinsky would be announcing on Sunday?
From a L-E story: " finance director for the Chattahoochee Valley
Libraries, plans to retire in August." -- Is it me, or interest of an audit that
have resulted in MCSD finance personnel retiring before and after the SPLAT
vote?
---
L-E headline: "Identity Theft Task Force formed in Columbus" -- Oooops, my
bad.. thought there was going to be a look-see into the 8,900 "yes" voters on
the SPLAT to see how many "yes" voters would benefit directly from SPLAT tax
revenues.
---
L-E story: " As part of a national effort to reduce possible concussions,
the GHSA executive committee voted unanimously Monday to cap the amount of time
football teams can conduct live contact drills in practice. * Full-contact
drills will no longer be permitted every day during the preseason. They will be
limited to 135 minutes per week, with contact taking place on no more than two
straight days. Full contact will also be limited to a single session of a
two-a-day practice. * During the season, full contact in practice will be
limited to 90 minutes per week, or 30 minutes per practice, spread across three
practices. Full contact on back-to-back days will be permitted, but three
straight full-contact practices will be prohibited." -- Concern for player
safety is very important, but how do you prepare players for full contact in
games if they have not been prepared for it in practices? To me, there are more
injuries sustained when players are tired than when they are fresh, and not
getting the training in practice will increase tiredness during games. That's in
all sports, not just football.

Macon Telegraph story: "Republican-controlled Georgia is still issuing
driver’s licenses, official Georgia ID cards and public benefits to illegal
aliens. Those benefits include eligibility for unemployment compensation.
* Currently, the number of Georgia illegals enjoying these rewards is well
north of 15,000, with that number predicted to swell by about another 200,000 if
the now-imperiled 26 state lawsuit against President Barack Obama’s second
executive amnesty fails. * Intended to end this wildly liberal, California-like
and hushed-up practice, Senate Bill 6, offered by state Sen. Josh McKoon, was
never even allowed a hearing in a committee in the super-majority Republican
state Senate. And it was never listed as “important legislation” by the
agenda-setting Georgia media. * But with a “Plan B” action in a floor amendment
offered by McKoon, language from SB 6 that would have ended the practice of
rewarding any illegal aliens with a Georgia driver’s license did see a vote in
the Senate. * Readers would do well to take an interest in the unreported
details of that vote. * McKoon’s surprise amendment created no small amount of
commotion and panic in the Senate chamber, because if some quick action was not
taken, the Republicans who had assured their constituents for years that they
were against driver’s licenses for illegal aliens would have to actually vote to
stop that practice. News tip: There was as much or more pressure exerted on
senators to kill SB 6 as there was to pass the $1 billion transportation tax
increase. * In the end, and on orders from the people who really run Georgia,
the Georgia Senate defeated the McKoon amendment by a vote of 27-16. Did I
mention that the Republicans have a super majority in the state Senate?" -- My
first question is, "Why is this not in the Columbus L-edger-Enquirer?" My second
question is, "Will the L-E track down all the area representatives and get sworn
affidavits on how they voted on this bill?"
