Eureka! It's no wonder that the Democratic Party is the party of feminism... while men look in a mirror and see the strength of the world, feminists look into the same mirror and see nothing but flaws.

Follow up - Online story: "Rolling Stone's "shock narrative" about sex assaults at the University of Virginia was rife with bad journalism, and the magazine has nobody but its own staff to blame, Columbia Journalism School Dean Steve Coll said Monday. * The magazine pledged to review its practices and removed the discredited article from its website, but publisher Jann S. Wenner said he won't fire anyone despite the blistering critique of his magazine. * The fraternity where the student identified in the article as "Jackie" said she was gang-raped announced Monday that it will "pursue all available legal action against the magazine. * Wenner said any failures were isolated and described Jackie as "a really expert fabulist storyteller" who managed to manipulate the magazine's journalism process." -- " "a really expert fabulist storyteller" who managed to manipulate the magazine's journalism process?" Good grief.. in the middle of disaster, "Rolling Stone" is trying to blame "Jackie" rather than accept its own part as using "Jackie" as its scapegoat. The story the "Rolling Stone" ran was not about investigative journalism, it was about a self-serving, self-conceived attack, a hate crime, aimed at traditional college life. Let's pray that Phi Kappa Psi has a plethora of attorney graduates, and a hanging judge and jury to take "Rolling Stones" to the woodshed. The death penalty for Rolling Stone itself should be considered.

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Αυξημένο το κόστος του πασχαλινού τραπεζιού φέτος, σύμφωνα με τη Συνομοσπονδία Εμπορίου" -- Proof that the HuffPost is out of touch with American values..

Things are "cooking" in Cook County, Illinois.. there's a runoff for Chicago's Mayoral title.. Rahm Emanuel could not claim a majority of votes in the local general election and faces Cook County Commissioner Jesus "Chuy" Garcia in a runoff. Of note in this election was that of 1,420,000 voters, only 478,000 voted (and 10%, 142,000 voted "early" which was 52,000 more than "normal") Three things are "perfectly clear".. Obamageddon's influence for Emanuel has dropped, local general elections should be held on the traditional November General Election date, and the "early vote" amounts to nothing more than ballot stuffing.

Online headline: "CASE GOES TO JURY * Deliberations to begin in Boston bombing trial * The jury is expected to begin deliberating Tuesday morning" -- Well, Bomber Brother 2 admits to doing it, and it's Tuesday morning.. where's the conviction already!
---
Whatta week....Wisconsin and Duke in the NCAA finals, and Masters week at Augusta. CBS should win the ratings this week.
---
You know who won last nights NCAA final? You, me, the NCAA, America..if you were disappointed, you are not a basketball fan. (BTW.. I was pulling for Wisconsin.. a lot of my family have attended UNC at Chapel Hill, so we all spell the other school Dook.)

Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "I support once-a-week garbage pickup and I'm also a believer in doing away with Government Center waste. We may try a new city manager approach to "update" in modern terminology." -- Hmmm... "supports once-a-week garbage pickup" and "a believer in doing away with Government Center waste"? Once-a-week-garbage-pickup is not enough to eliminate the waste at the Government Center.
---
"Get's it" L-E "soundoff": "72% of U.S. businesses are sole proprietorships, meaning the business and owner are one. The issue isn't whether an individual has the right to be bigoted. It's whether government can trample an individual's religious beliefs." -- You know.. it's not about the right to be bigoted.. no one really supports a bigot, and that will take care of the bigots business future...what's at stake is our Constitutional right of due process.. just look at how our government officials and mainstream media stripped Ferguson, MO's Officer Wilson of his "due process".
---
Another "get's it" L-E "soundoff": "If W tons of garbage are removed by X trucks and Y people twice a week, increases in X and/or Y to pick up once a week can be expected. How does this save?" -- BINGO!

Online headline/story: "SunTrust Bank Closes Gun Shop’s Account Because They Don’t Like How He Earns Money * SunTrust Bank doesn’t want Steve Champion’s money because it doesn’t like how he earns it. * Champion owns American Gun & Pawn in Brooksville. * SunTrust sent Champion a letter, dated March 20, advising him to withdraw his funds immediately. * “If you do not close these accounts by this date (April 20, 2015), we will need to close them for you,” the letter says. * The letter says their banking “relationship” “no longer meets the bank’s corporate business objectives.” It does not go into detail on why the decision was made. * “The decision cannot be reversed and is final,” the letter says. * Champion was even more shocked when he called the bank and spoke with a customer service representative. * He said the representative told him, “Oh, you got one of the gun letters.” He said she went on to say the letters are going to gun shop owners across the country. * A SunTrust spokesman, Michael McCoy, made no apologies. He did say the decision to ditch Champion as a customer is because of the pawn business – not the gun business. * We (Suntrust) have decided to discontinue banking relationships with three types of businesses – specifically payday lenders, pawn shops and dedicated check-cashers – due to compliance requirements." -- Good grief.. first, I have done due diligence to see if this story is a hoax, but cannot find such a claim by SunTrust, so, while cautiously, I am proceeding with this info. Talk about a bigoted business, SunTrust takes the "Indiana pizza". Ironically, Suntrust picked a historically pertinent date to commit competition purging.. April 20... the same date as Hitler was born.

NYC is entertaining allowing non-citizens, but legally living in NYC for 6 months, to vote. Supporters say these people are paying taxes without representation. Well.. Their point? Columbus taxes Alabama and out of county Georgians via LOSTs/SPLOST taxes and they don't get to vote in our elections either.
---
So the White House Easter Egg Roll was held the day after Easter... guess if any Columbus kids who had a chance to go would get an unexcused absence from MCSD.
---
L-E headline: "COLUMBUS CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT * City to ‘ban the box’ on local applications
Columbus among first not to require criminal history of job applicants" -- Hmmm.. talk about political correctness run amok.. how do you eliminate "the box" on an application to run for political office jobs.. for that matter, how do you eliminate "the box" on voting applications, and police department jobs? All of those have legal restrictions to being eligible.
---
You know.. the most hypocritical violator of public records is the L-E itself.. It runs print ads of DUI convicts, it runs pictures of people arrested but not convicted, and it runs names and pictures of those charged with molestation crimes before there is due process. L-E.. there's a log.. a huge log, in your own eye. I imagine it's pretty tough for any of these people to keep or apply for a job. Now, you know what.. the L-E should be doing this to protect the public.. the L-E should not be supporting "the box" bill.

L-E editorial headline/story: "Georgia prepares for new education assessment tests * "Proponents believe it will be a more accurate measure of student achievement in Georgia," Harris County Schools information Jeff Branham told Ledger-Enquirer education writer Mark Rice. "Many believe that it will be more rigorous and require a higher depth of knowledge of the subject matter." * That represents a challenge not just for educators -- and, of course, for students themselves -- but also for families. Teachers have long been pleading for parents to be more involved in their children's education; if a tougher standard inspires more parents to heed those pleas, the benefits could be incalculable. If not, it means more students could be (for lack of a better term) left behind." -- "Teachers have long been pleading for parents to be more involved in their children's education"? Good grief.. maybe the MCSD administrators and MCSB should listen to the teachers! Every new program.. and basically every new SPLOST project is aimed at eliminating parents from the day-to-day responsibilities of "being a parent". The school system buses, feeds, and daycares them. The school system has adopted textbooks, math ion particular, that almost eliminates parents from helping at home.
---
Excerpts/responses from last week L-E story on the new tests:
L-E story: "For the first time in 15 years, Georgia is using new standardized exams to measure how well public school students learn the state’s curriculum." -- Wanna bet they are dumbed down rather than tweaked up?
---
From above story: "Say goodbye to the Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests and hello to the Georgia Milestones Assessment System." -- Hmmm... looks like GA Education is learning from the MCSD Superintendent's theory.. hire a new one to bring in his stuff, then in 3 or 4 years, bring in another Superintendent with different new stuff so there's no history to compare whether students are actually learning .

L-E headline: "ABC’s Diane Sawyer to interview Bruce Jenner in two-hour special" -- "two-hour special"? "TWO-HOUR SPECIAL"? Mainstream media definitely has a disconnect with most of America. I think I can sum up what America thinks or wants to tell Bruce Jenner in TWO WORD phrases: "Get lost!" "Go Away!"
