Online story: "President Barack Obama and Cuba's Raul Castro sat down
together Saturday in the first formal meeting of the two country's leaders in a
half-century, pledging to reach for the kind of peaceful relationship that has
eluded their nations for generations." -- Good grief.. I wish Obamageddon could
regain the peaceful relationships we had with out ALLIES before he took office,
as well as the respect the US had from our enemies!
L-E story on above subject: "Jeb Bush tweeted: “Obama meets with Castro but
refused to meet w/ @netanyahu. Why legitimize a cruel dictator of a repressive
regime?” -- Or earlier when Obamageddon refused to meet with Republicans in
either the House or Senate.
Note: You know even when talking with the Iranians, Obamageddon's puppet
wants to swap out certain concessions before sanctions are ended.. What is being
demanded from Castro?

Online headline/story: "Protester fatally shoots himself at US Capitol * the man who killed himself held up a protest sign about taxation just before pulling the trigger." -- Poor man.. probably thought this would get the IRS off his back..he was wrong.
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "New York Cab Driver Ordered To Pay Lesbian Couple $10K For Telling Them To Stop Kissing" -- Hmmm.. now, if the cabbie had stopped an adult from kissing on a child, wouldn't he be celebrated instead?

Masters moments:
Tiger...grow up...there are live mics every where at Augusta..you cannot
blaspheme on the tee boxes.!
Brandel Chamblee probably won't be back for next year's Masters.. He kept
referring to the "nines" as "front side and back side". Masters' protocol is to
refer to them as first nine/second nine. " They" don't want people thinking you
are pointing out people's front & backsides.
I'm just listening to Masters' announcers babble about some poll taken at
the Masters about Bubba Watson's popularity and its impact on his game. I want
to know what (_*_) would devise and implement such a poll, and was hat other
(_*_)s would even respond to such a poll.
Has anyone seen Fuzzy Zoeller? I saw where he played the Par 3 tournament
on Wednesday, but haven't heard his name or seen him interviewed at all.
I think I heard the best ever watch ad.. "Rolex..it doesn't just tell time,
it tells history".
Time can seem to stand still when you start talking about the Masters..I
remember Arnold Palmer so well, and yet he won his fourth, his last Masters in
1964 when I was a junior in high school..it seems like yesterday.
I tell you what, after Jordan Spieth double-bogeyed the 17th, his up-and-in
for a par from the right of the trap on 18 was unbelievable. He's going to be
"OK" today..

My bride and I took in "The Longest Ride" Friday night..good date movie for
couples..the drama peaks at an auction. The lead man shows up at an auction of
the estate of a man who's life parallels the younger man's journey with his
soulmate, and buying an artwork the old man acquired from a former student of
his wife triggered a clause that gave a fortune in art to whomever bought the
"special" picture. I've seen this before in another median..another estate sale
that the entire collection of famous works went to whomever bought the work of
the son who had died earlier that the art collector cherished more than the
famous works. Anyone else remember this and what it was?

Online story: "Attorney General Eric Holder had a friendly reminder for
Justice Department employees before the weekend: don’t solicit prostitutes. * In
a letter released to all department staff on Friday, Holder wrote that he
“want[ed] to reiterate to all Department personnel, including attorneys and law
enforcement officers, that they are prohibited from soliciting, procuring, or
accepting commercial sex.” -- How discriminatory... asking applicants about
their records during a first interview for a job.. What's really sad, really
revealing, is that it must be such a common practice of Pric Holder's and
Obamageddon's staffs that a general memo was even thought of...

L-E story: "Columbus has seen a record low number of homicides in the first
quarter of 2015, but officials say they won't be satisfied until the city is
free of the violent crime." -- hmmm...and then you consider another unbalanced
budget has been submitted by Mayor TomLYINGson, and you soon realize her actions
are violent ones against the Columbus taxpayers.
---
L-E story: "Two injured after pickup crashes into Deorio's pizza" -- Hmm..
now, not only do both locations have "drive through" service, the Cross Country
location has a genuine "pick up" window.
---
L-E story: "An 18-year-old Jordan High School student was jailed Friday
morning after disrupting other students on the way to school, Columbus police
said. * Artavia Bush was taken into custody at 8:15 a.m. after the bus she was
riding on stopped at Sixth Street and Veterans Parkway. She was charged with one
count each of making terroristic threats and disrupting a public school. She
remained held Saturday in Muscogee County Jail." -- Hmmm.. bet Ms Artavia Bush
wasn't told in public school that once she reached 18 years of age things would
change. Sure, she probably was told to register to vote, but bet she didn't know
her name would now be on public record and publishable in the L-E and police
dockets. Probably didn't even know she would get a photo session either.
---
L-E story: "Saturday’s Anti-Bully Walk was organized by the No Bully Zone
Anti-bully Committee as part of its ongoing campaign to raise awareness of and
speak out against bullying. " -- Hmmm.. wouldn't having a bullying
demonstration.. in a way.. be an act of bullying in itself?
---
L-E story: " SUMMERVILLE, S.C. — The death of a black man shot in the back
while fleeing a white police officer was the act of a racist cop, a minister
told hundreds who gathered Saturday for the funeral of Walter Scott. * “All of
us have seen the video,” the Rev. George Hamilton, the minister at W.O.R.D.
Ministries Christian Center, told an overflow congregation. “There is no doubt
in my mind and I feel that Walter’s death was motivated by racial prejudice.”
Authorities have not said whether race was a factor in the shooting." -- "all of
us have seen the video"? Well, maybe THE video excerpt, but what about the dash
cam video and the unedited version of "The" video?
---
L-E story (instant repeat): " SUMMERVILLE, S.C. — The death of a black man
shot in the back while fleeing a white police officer was the act of a racist
cop, a minister told hundreds who gathered Saturday for the funeral of Walter

prejudice.” Authorities have not said whether race was a factor in the
shooting." -- "There is no doubt in my mind and I feel that Walter’s death was
motivated by racial prejudice"? What I think he's really saying is there's no
room in his mind for forgiveness nor discussion nor justice.

L-E headline: Clinton campaign to focus on economic security, opportunity"
-- I guess so.. Hillewinsky surely doesn't want to campaign on her
accomplishment, scandals and failures.
---
L-E story of on Columbus Council Agenda: "CITY MANAGER’S AGENDA * FY2015
GEORGIA DOT — SUPPLEMENTAL PLANNING CONTRACT: Authorization is requested to
execute a Supplemental Agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation
for $79,489 in additional funding for the Columbus-Phenix City Transportation
Study (C-PCTS)." -- Wait a minute.. for less than $79,489, we could barricade
all entries from Phenix City.. Why isn't there mention of how much Phenix
City/AL DOT is paying for this study?
---
From above story: " RIVER CENTER PARKING DECK LEASE AGREEMENT:
Authorization is requested for a Building and Rooftop Lease Agreement between
the Columbus Consolidated Government (Lessor) and Verizon Wireless of the East
LP (Lessee), which will allow Verizon to lease space on the River Center Parking
Deck at 919 Broadway for the sole purpose of installing, operating and
maintaining telecommunications equipment." -- Good grief.. where is the Historic
Columbus Foundation! We've seen approval of Ziplines, ripping out the
architectural integrity of the L-E building, and now a cell phone tower atop the
RiverCenter garage...yet restaurants have a hard time getting approval to
operate in the Historic District.. this just SMELLS!

From L-E guest commentary of uber-lib Ann McFeatters: " Some are puzzled
why former Florida governor Jeb Bush, a frontrunner for the GOP presidential
nomination, checked the box denoting “Hispanic” when he applied to vote in 2009.
Bush was born in Texas but his family is from New England and beyond that
English royalty. Was he confused because he speaks fluent Spanish and governed a
state with a large Hispanic population? Was he already planning to run for
president in 2016, an impressive display of foresight, knowing he’d need
Hispanic votes?" -- "was he confused"? Of course Jeb Bush.. his siblings, too,
can check off the "Hispanic" box.. his/their mother is Hispanic! Of note is Ms
McFeatters leads the charge to keep "code sexism" words out of descriptions of
Hillewinsky.. heaven forbid Hillewinsky be identified as a woman..
BTW, this commentary piece is not available on L-E Online.. the L-E just
know what the response is going to be, and doesn't want to undermine one of its
favorite liberal fact-twisters.

L-E's "Thought for Today" “It is common sense to take a method and try it.
If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.” —
Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945)." -- How appropriate for condemnation of
today's Democratic Party.. Today's Democrats look at a failure, and rather than
try something else, just put someone else in charge, pour more good money after
bad into it, expecting different results..
