Online headline: "Soldiers Warn of New Tsunami Threat in NE Japan" -- Ooops, my bad. Thought maybe Japan heard VP Biden was on his way.
---
Since bicycles are considered a vehicle just as you car is, why are they not required to have a license plate that pedestrians can take note of when nearly rundown by the bicyclers?
---
Texting while bicycling on a sidewalk....where are the police when you need them. Saw a guy doing just such yesterday afternoon while weaving in and out of pedestrian and canine traffic.
---
L-E headline: " LOOSE LIPS: Chief State Department spokesman resigns after comments critical of military" -- Oops, my bad. Thought NPR was announcing it had found a new CEO.
---
L-E -"soundoff": "Now that Adams and Porter have pleaded guilty, will the black clergy give a public apology to the ex-mayor and council? Do not hold your breath." -- I won't hold my breath on this, but it does bring up Mimi Woodson's Council comment about this being "a public lynching". She should have to make a VERY PUBLIC apology with GNN in attendance.
---
L-E story: " PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia man accused of pouring rubbing alcohol on his family’s puppy and setting it on fire in front of his children has been sentenced to two to seven years in prison. " -- Hmmm, wonder if he'll get a quarterback job offer from the Eagles when he's paroled?
---
L-E headline: " ALABAMA BASKETBALL * Tide settles for a top seed in NIT" -- Hmmm, since the top 68 teams are NCAA bound, what does being top ranked in the NIT make you...#69?
---
Think about this...if the NCAA is going to televise every tournament game, will there be any time slots available to televise ANY NIT games?
