Online story: "Former Connecticut senator and one-time presidential contender Chris Dodd has been named chairman and chief executive officer of the Motion Picture Association of America. * Dodd, a Democrat who served five terms in the U.S. Senate from 1981 to 2011 and headed the powerful Senate Banking Committee, said he was "truly excited about representing the interests of one of the most creative and productive industries in America, not only in Washington but around the world." -- Well, as a DUMB&DUMBERat politician, Dodd is certainly well trained at being "creative" (as in 'creating' his own version of reality and truth), but if the MPAA and Hollywood expect him to be 'productive'. Dodd will probably take them down like the way Dodd brought down the mortgage/housing industries.

L-E story: " BOSTON — An FBI file contends that a young Edward Kennedy arranged to rent a brothel for a night while visiting Chile in 1961, a year before he was elected to the Senate." -- You have to wonder whether Kennedy still had the key and let former Governors Spitzer (NY) and Sanford (SC) borrow it.

Online story: "A liberal group (Left Action), apparently frustrated with all the attention its nemesis keeps getting, is promoting "Ignore Sarah Palin Week," urging like-minded souls to change the channel or surf to another Web page whenever the ubiquitous former governor of Alaska pops up." -- As much as I detest the word, there are times 'idiots' is the only word that fits. By announcing their intent to ignore Palin, they have brought more attention to her...

From the "only in New Jersey department": "Starting this fall, gay, lesbian and transgender students at Rutgers University's New Brunswick campus can choose either male or female roommates under the pilot program. * Heterosexual students will also be permitted to live in rooms with students of the opposite sex. Men and women will share bathrooms. * Rutgers drew scrutiny after freshman Tyler Clementi killed himself days after authorities said his dorm roommate used a webcam to capture Clementi in an intimate encounter with a man." -- Can anyone make heads or tails of any logic that can explain what Rutgers is trying to explain? Haven't men 'always' been roomies in college dorms, and women, too? I just want to know how many parents are going to enjoy footing the Rutgers' bill knowing their daughters are going to share dorm bathrooms with men.

Online story: "NFL may be able to weather 2-year lockout" -- Yeah, the NFL will act like nothing is wrong, announce the kick-off, cut to a commercial, then just not return form them for two years. What's much different than what we had this past season?
---
Online story: "After two years of steadily rising commodity prices, Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke finally admits to it. Quoted in Bloomberg/Businessweek in his testimony before Congress Bernanke said: "Sustained rises in the price of oil or other commodities would represent a threat both to economic growth and to overall price stability, particularly if they were to cause inflation expectations to become less well anchored." -- Well, I'll be.... Guess Bernanke's wife sent him to the grocery store, and he found out a loaf of bread cost $4.19.

L-E headline: "Report shows Synovus kept top execs’ pay packages under $1M last year " -- Is this suppose to relieve stockholders?
---
L-E headline: "COLUMBUS PARKS AND RECREATION * Fox’s team subpoenas Hugley, six city workers for hearing" -- Why is this news? Aren't all those people already going to be in court to testify?
---
Online headline: "Gadhafy Warns West: Stay Out!" -- Emporer Imam-a should ask, "WWRRD"? ..Ronald Reagan fired 5 rockets that took out the 4 corner guard post towers, and Gaddafy's pet goat tethered in the center of the compound. Poof; no more Gaddafy saber-rattling.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “Nothing ever really sets human nature free, but self-control.” — Phyllis Bottome, English writer (1884-1963). -- No wonder DUMB&DUMBERat voters vote for DUMB&DUMBERat candidates..they do not want to be responsible for themselves so it's easy to vote for a nanny.
---
L-E headline: "Iran president’s 34-year-old car sells for $2.5 million at auction " -- Oh, no! Can't you see Emporer Imam-a's new stim-YOU-LIE program being set up? Monopoly Cash for Clunkers?
---
Why is the media so engrossed with the Wisconsin public employees protest now? Didn't the same Wisconsin employee protestors vote in November and over powered by the overall opinion of the voters? isn't that what Governor Walker is considering his responsibiliy to act on?
---
Let's face it, the new marker on Broadway commemorating some Civil War protest is simply another unnecessary sign and expense.
---
L-E "head-lie": " House Republican praises Obama housing plan " -- Wrong! The praise is for the dismantling of the Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac mortgage divisions that dismantled the housing and mortgage industries using DUMB&DUMBERat directives!
