If Warren Buffet is so concerned about not paying enough in taxes, then he should void his current will, die intestate, and let the government distribute his lifetime earnings.

Online headline: "Obama Signs Whistle-Blower Protection Law" -- Ooops, my bad. Thought potUS Obluster had signed an Executive Order to keep Talk Radio from criticizing him when he blows his own whistle about eliminating Osama bib Laden and such.

---

Swedish toy catalogs have become counter-intuitive to children to promote gender equality. Girls are shown shooting guns, and boys are featured with hair dryers and steam irons.
---

It's discouraging ( at a minimum) to see a police officer breaking traffic laws when personal efforts to get those particular laws modified have been rejected by traffic control officials. Cases in point: In the school zone at River Rd School, a police vehicle passed my car and another then accelerated to full speed well before the sign designating the end of the school zone. Granted, it was after 8:30, the crossing guards had left, and no children were present, BUT the School Zone lights were flashing.
Then the same police vehicle continued down River Rd to Veterans. At that light, there is a right turn arrow and signage to such. As straight moving traffic continued on a green signal, the right turn traffic was faced with a red light. 3 cars, including our police car made right turns in spite of the red arrow and signage, and none actually came to a full stop before proceeding. The traffic engineer has arrogantly stated no changes will be made.

Hmmm, forget Big Bird, what I want to know is whether Sesame Street has purged Elmo.

---

potUS Obluster is confirming he "couldn't be prouder" of Susan Rice. Hmmm, I reckon not. She has played the sacrificial lamb to the hilt... the hilt of the suicidal sword.

---

Online headline: "Iran Launches New Warships" -- Alright! US Navy target practice!
---
Online headline: "Wall Street Watch: Why Aeropostale Is Flying Low This Season" -- Wall Street had to find a reason to explain things? How about parents simply taking the debit/credit cards away from their children....
---
The $580 million dollar lottery had a big winner alright... government! Estimated take for the two winning ticket holders will be $232 million ($116 million each), while government will net close to $928 million in basically volunteer taxes from Obluster voters.
---
Hmmmmm:

"Wreckit Ralph" incarnate... the Colorado (_@_).
---
Online story: "The Josephson Institute of Ethics’ biennial report card on American youth suggests that cheating, lying and stealing among high school students is on the decline for the first time in a decade, despite the abundance of high-profile, technology-aided cheating scandals that seem to imply the opposite." -- Compared to what... Does the potUS Obluster administration think everyone is as dumb as his voters? Some of us remember the Secretary of Education is from Chicago, and cheating in education without leaving clues would be no different than cheating at the ballot boxes.
---
Further above story info: "When it comes to lying to authority figures, 55 percent admitted lying to a teacher about something significant in the past year, down from 61 percent in 2010." -- Oh! Like the students wouldn't lie to the research pollsters as well?
---
Online story: "juvenile crime--bringing the underage crime rate to the lowest level since the state started keeping records in 1954. * According to a recently released study, much of that improvement can be credited to the decriminalization of marijuana." -- Brilliant deduction....NOT! If you decriminalize underage drinking, speeding, not using seat belts, hooky, vandalism, gangs, and a few more categories, you could bring California could bring youth crime rated down to zero, but is that good for society?
---
Online headline: "Hillary Clinton Praises Susan Rice" -- DOH? Hillary wants to be replaced as soon as possible, and having Rice as her replacement will make Hillary look good in the future.

Online headline: "Harry Reid Doesn't Understand John Boehner's Brain" -- DOH? It would probably be easier for Reis to do so if...IF he Reid had one at all!

Online headline: "Jeff Zucker Named CNN Worldwide President: Network Officially Hires Former NBC Universal Chief" -- No wonder mainstream media is mentally crippled... they are totally incestuous!

Online headline: "Obama Inauguration Theme Will Be 'Faith In America's Future' -- Hmmm... the subterfuge continues... The COMPLETE theme is "'Faith In America's Future Continued Implosion"

Online headline/story: "Bigfoot DNA Tests Prove Hairy Creature Exists, Genetic Researcher Says * Ketchum's study showed that part of the DNA her team sequenced revealed an unknown primate species, she said, which suggests that Bigfoot is a real creature that resulted from this primate "crossing with female Homo sapiens." * Radford suggests that if the mitochondrial DNA is identical to Homo sapiens (modern humans), it could mean one of two things. * "The first, endorsed by Ketchum, is that Bigfoot ancestors had sex with women about 15,000 years ago and created a half-human hybrid species currently hiding across North America." -- Hmmm, "a half-human hybrid species currently hiding across North America"... hiding across America? Yeah, in plain view disguised as DUMBERats!
---
Online headline: "NFL Players Using Viagra? Bears Star Says So" -- Hmmm, maybe the teams that hold hands in the huddle should stop.
---
L-E story: "Two weeks after shutting down all of its Twinkies, Ding Dongs and Ho Ho’s production, Hostess Brands still has not notified Georgia officials that its 426 workers who earned a paycheck at the Dolly Madison Bakery in Columbus are being terminated or laid off. * Email requests for comment sent to Hostess Brands’ media office were not returned Thursday." -- Ron White is SO RIGHT... you really can't fix s-t-u-p-i-d.... especially government stupidity. Even the Dolly Madison worker responsible for reporting to the state lost his/her job at the same time!!!! Who does the GA Dept of Labor think is working there to answer phones and e-mail?
---
If I had a center fielder on my team with a $75 million dollar contract, I think I would eliminate my left and right fielders and make my center fielder bat three times in the lineup.
---
Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "Corporate greed closed Dolly Madison. The CEOs of Interstate Brands, who made no wage concessions, had every intention of shutting down. Only 30% of employees were union members. Quit using the union as a scapegoat. " -- Yeah, the 70% who were smart enough to know taking a pay cut was better than losing their jobs had nothing to say in the union vote which voted down such a proposal.
---
L-E headline: "Lindsay Lohan charged on both coasts " -- Guess her PR firm is trying to keep reviews of her latest movie off the front pages. Her getting arrested is less damaging to her career than the truth about her acting skills.
---
Earth is billions of years old... why are the Chicken Littles', so frantic about any one day's, one year's, or one decade's weather events?
---
L-E headline/story: "VETERANS | Disability claims * Despite promises, delays on claims skyrocket * The 262-day average is the highest that measure has been in at least the past 20 years for which numbers were available. * The VA’s long-term goal is to get the processing time to an average of 90 days." -- Hmmm, in the last 20 years, there's been DUMBERat control in the White House for 12 of those. Like the national debt, the DUMBERats are not interested in lowering claims delays from 262 days to 90. That would mean making the government more efficient by eliminating politically appointed jobs.
---
L-E story: "Two laptop computers issued by the Muscogee County School District were reported stolen in different ways Wednesday, according to Columbus police reports." -- I cannot speak for the teacher's computer, but students at Carver and Shaw (and why only those?) have been supplied with way-over-priced netbook computers with theft-tracking software installed. Trouble is not many of the units stolen/lost inn the last 3 years have ever been recovered (per MCSD board inquiry). The MCSD board should demand the theft-tracker company give a complete refund for the costs, and pay for replacement of the unrecovered units. Otherwise, garnishee the cost from the School Board members' salaries.
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — The Obama administration Thursday offered to get the nation off the fiscal cliff with a package that includes $1.6 trillion in tax increases over 10 years," -- Hmmm, let's do some math: $1.6 trillion in new taxes over 10 years. That would mean his plan would eliminate the $16 TRILLION dollar National Debt in 100 years....but only IF he presents a balanced spending budget that doesn't include spending any of the $1.6 trillion in new taxes. Yeah, right.
---
Write your Congressperson not to designate January 8th as "Elvis Presley Day"! Famous musician or not, we don't need to promote drug abusers to our children. Also, theis would pave the way for August 29th being named "Michael Jackson Day" and having a pedophile pedestalized.
---
L-E picture:
"The "Redneck Christmas" tree won the prize for "Most Creative" at the second annual River City Festival of Trees and was breated by the Bulloch House." -- Once again, the artsy-fartsies poke fun at ordinary people. In this case, "Most Creative" is really another phrase for "how gauche, how common".
---

Online headline: "Obama Hails Susan Rice As 'Extraordinary' In Midst Of GOP Barrage" -- "Extraordinary"? Why, because she 'took one' for him? Sounds more like the true 'war on women' attitude of the DUMBERats. Remember Janet Reno and Waco? Even Clinton couldn't shake her his second term.
---
WRBL3 news story: " A state program that helps disabled people get a job is in jeopardy of shutting down, impacting 75 people in our area alone. * In Columbus, Goodwill is the only organization that offers the service. For a lot of participants it allows them to gain independence and become competitive in the job market." -- Now would be a good time for Goodwill Industries to sell off some of its non-related real estate, take the money that's tied up in those and put it into programs the public thinks Goodwill is all about.
---
From the 'it's not one world' department - Online story: "CAIRO — An Egyptian court convicted in absentia Wednesday seven Egyptian Coptic Christians and a Florida-based American pastor, sentencing them to death on charges linked to an anti-Islam film that had sparked riots in parts of the Muslim world." -- And potUS Obluster wants to adopt laws inline with international practices.... We already knew how adamant Obluster has been about ending the second and tenth Amendments, but now it's obvious he want to end the 1st as well.
---
Online story: "The Detroit Lions' Ndamukong Suh has been fined $30,000 by the NFL for his "kick" to the groin area of Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub, according to Detroit Free Press writer and SN correspondent Dave Birkett." -- Suh should have been charged with a 'hate crime'! Hope the players from the other NFL teams go after him at every opportunity the rest of his career.
---
From a heads up by a fellow BCer - Russian commentary on Pravda.ru: "Well, any normal individual understands that as true but liberalism is a psychosis . O'bomber even keeps the war going along the Mexican border with projects like "fast and furious" and there is still no sign of ending it. He is a Communist without question promoting the Communist Manifesto without calling it so. How shrewd he is in America. His cult of personality mesmerizes those who cannot go beyond their ignorance. They will continue to follow him like those fools who still praise Lenin and Stalin in Russia. Obama's fools and Stalin's fools share the same drink of illusion." -- Aside from this probably being called a "far right-wing conspiracy" hit piece by CNN and MSNBC instead of commentary from Russia, I wonder how "flexible" Russia expects Obluster to be now that the election is over?
---
Passed on from a fellow BCer:

"A painting that features President Obama posed as Jesus Christ crucified on is on display at a community college art gallery in Boston. * The painting by Michael D’Antuono is part of a larger exhibit called “Artists on the Stump – the Road to the White House 2012.” It’s on display at the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery until Dec. 15th. * The painting is called “Truth” – and shows the president with his arms outstretched. A crown of thorns rests on his head. * It was originally supposed to debut nearly four years ago at New York City’s Union Square. But that event was cancelled due to public outrage. * “I always regretted cancelling my exhibit in New York because I feel my First Amendment rights should override someone’s hurt feelings,” D’Antuono told Fox News. “We should celebrate the fact that we live in a country where we are given the freedom to express ourselves.”" -- D'Antuono has the right idea about this country but supports potUS Obluster who would like to taken that right away from him... go figure.
---
The last election was reminiscent of Hitler's tactics. He went after the unpopular elements of Germany and the masses sorta ignored it because they were glad he was going after someone else instead of them. It wasn't until the masses discovered that once Hitler eliminated those groups, that 'they' became the next target, and there wasn't anybody willing to stand up for them. Wait until the middle class here discovers it is the next target once potUS Obluster eliminates the job creators.
---
L-E article: "Keep Columbus Beautiful’s River City Festival of Trees is now open for free public viewing from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. -- Aside from not revealing the location of such event, I do have a suggestion... how about having the Festival of Trees on Veterans Parkway and make replacing the 25 dead/dying ones planted for beautification replaced.

L-E's "Thought for Today": “Statistics can prove anything — even the truth.” — Sir Noel Moynihan, British physician and writer (1916-1994). -- Ah! Source of the theorem that figures don't lie, but liars figure a lot.

---

L-E headline: "Romney to have lunch today with Obama" -- Let's pray that Romney has forgiveness of the stupid portion of America, and will pick up the check; the taxpayers cannot afford what potUS Obluster pays for.

---

L-E headline: "Obama seeks Bush tax cuts renewal * President would let taxes rise for those making more than $250,000" -- You know, it cannot be called an extension of someone else's legislation unless you extend the entire package. Aletring it in any way makes it Obluster's tax increase.

---

L-E headline: "Veterans sue railroad over fatal crash in Texas" -- As tragic, as unnecessary as this was, the only person/entity who can be blamed is the person or local government office that processed and OK'ed the parade permit. Train schedules should have been noted, and the train companies notified in advance.

---

L-E story: "BENTONVILLE, Ark. — A 6-year-old Arkansas girl found dead in a vacant home was suffocated and apparently raped, authorities said in a court document released Wednesday. " -- Why... why does the media and the L-E print this stuff... do they want us to hate the killer even more when some liberal court throws out the case on technical reasons, or some appeals court lets him out because he didn't have 'effective counsel'? The family should be spared of continued invasions into their private grieving.

---

The Georgetown liberal writes "corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow". You know, why do liberals feel it is caustic and perilous for corporations to provide a fair product for a fair, market determined, price while rewarding investors and employees alike with cash in their pockets?

---

Well, the receipt of the Tsys United Way check guarantees the salaries of the United Way staff.....

---

L-E story: "WASHINGTON — U.S. sales of new homes fell slightly in October and September sales were slower than initially thought." -- Sounds suspiciously similar to the car industry ills... Obluster voters are waiting for their free Obama-homes, while Romney voters hold on to their cash.

---

Well, not unexpectedly, the government has suspended BP from entering into more oil lease agreement in the Gulf, citing "lack of business integrity". Sounds more like a pot calling the kettle black.

---

L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Unemployment rates declined last month in more than half of the 372 largest U.S. cities, further evidence of steady improvement in the job market. " -- Proof positive that liars figure a lot... Of course unemployment in large urban areas decreased prior to the election. No doubt that when voters are bribed to vote for potUS Obluster, potUS Obluster considers them currently employed! Now that the election is over, look for 'unexpected' increases in urban areas.

Online headline: "Venezuela's Hugo Chavez Heading To Cuba For More Treatment" -- Hmmm, guess Chavez is waiting to come to the USA for cancer treatments AFTER HELL-thScare is fully implemented.

---

Remember Ndamukong Suh ? The Detroit (_o_) who kicked the Houston QB in the groin on Thanksgiving Day. Has the NBA filled its quota of thugs and the NFL is picking up the overflow?

---

Surely potUS Obluster will not submit Susan Rice's name for Secretary of State. Her "fall on potUS' sword" handling of Benghazi has made her 'damaged goods' for dealing with world leaders. No one will be able to have confidence in her promises BECAUSE she'll have to get back in touch with potUS Obluster to see what he says.

---

One of potUS Obluster's policies has shut down organic peanut manufacturer Sunland Peanut Company in New Mexico. That's right, at a time when policies should be creating jobs, potUS Obluster is waging a "war on jobs". Must be a sympathy move to offset the union policy of shutting down the Twinkie maker.

---

I'd say that the Expedia case turned out pretty much as expected. The lawyers got the lion's share, and Columbus got a world-wide 'black eye'.

---

From the 'suspicions confirmed' department - L-E story: "ATLANTA — Georgia’s high school graduation rate of 67 percent ranks it behind all of its neighboring states and puts it among the lowest in the nation under new federal measurements released by the U.S. Department of Education. * It details four-year high school graduation rates in 2010-11 — the first year for which all states used a common measure." -- In other words, 1/3rd of all the money poured into the GA public schools is surely, purely, wasted.

L-E story: "Only two states — Nevada and New Mexico — and the District of Columbia fared worse than Georgia in the new rankings released Monday." -- And to think that people in Washington feel they know how to help at the local level.....

---

L-E story continued: "Nevada was last among states with a 62 percent graduation rate. " -- It's getting worse when you see the worst state in graduation rates is the home of the DUMBERat Senate Majority leader, Harry Reid. The two places Reid spends all his time in are 2 of the 3 worst school records.

---

L-E continued: "The U.S. Bureau of Indian Education scored worse than all of the states with a graduation rate of 61 percent." -- Why do we let Washington take education tax dollars out of our pockets so they can send a portion of it back to fund strings-attached-federal-programs?

---

Perhaps a cure for the wasted education moneys is for parents to have to put up a cash bond on the first day their child enters high school, and when the child graduates, the parent gets the money back with interest.

---

L-E headline: "Study: Teens text and drive more than parents think " -- Once again, money is wasted on telling parents something it already knew but just don't want to deal with.

---

Here we go again.. Congress is about to hit the 'debt ceiling' it most recently set. You get debt by spending what you don't have; not because people aren't paying enough in taxes. Guess what potUS Obluster thinks is the problem? A story yesterday indicated it would take thousands of years of confiscating more taxes from the wealthy to eliminate the national debt, and 60% of the national debt has been acquires under the potUS Obluster administration.

---

L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Direct costs from deaths and injuries due to motorcycle crashes were $16 billion in 2010, but the full cost is likely higher because long-term medical expenses are difficult to measure, a government report said. * Motorcyclists are involved in fatal crashes at higher rates than drivers of other types of vehicles, and are 30 times more likely to die in a traffic crash than passenger car occupants, according to the Government Accountability Office report." -- Hmmm, I'm waiting for this report to hit potUS Obluster's desk, and for his executive order mandating seat belts on motorcycles.......

---

L-E editorial cartoon:

ooops, my bad. Thought this was a potUS Obluster political rally.

---

L-E headline: " AUBURN, Ala. — A new report from Auburn University says the fire that damaged the oak trees at Toomer’s Corner will make the trees even weaker than they were beforehand." -- Why, why, why does Auburn continue to demean the dignity of the oaks at Toomer's Corner? Beloved family pets are put to sleep long before they reach the state the oaks are in because families care about the dignity of their pets. The oaks have been mistreated by revelers for decades by a demeaning ritual; isn't it time for the trees to be laid to rest without further insults? The timings not bad either... tie it in with celebrating Chizik's departure.

---

L-E story: "BIRMINGHAM — An Alabama attorney who’s accused of slitting a dog’s throat during a heated custody dispute is being held in the Jefferson County Jail. * Sheriff’s officials say 45-year-old James Stew-art Robinson was divorcing his wife when the custody of their American Staffordshire Terrier named Rufus became a point of contention. * Authorities say Robin-son slit the dog’s throat and sent a photo to his estranged wife. * Robinson is being held on $40,000 bond. It’s not known whether he has an attorney" -- Hmmm, definitely not from the 1%, so this guy must be in the 99% that should "Occupy Bail Street". (Personal disclaimer: I believe that all the legal eagles on the BC list to be in the 1% category of lawyers.)

---

It was neat to see all the Auburn coaches' names/salaries in the L-E. Heaven knows, they deserve as much infamy as Chizik.

---

The increase in Black Friday weekend sales is more of gloomy omen than an economic boost. More people bought more goods at lower prices than they would pay later on which probably means less people will be out buying goods later in the season.

---

Another from the 'suspicions confirmed' department - L-E comic strip pic:

Obviously a potUS Obluster campaign promise writer.

Online headline/story: "Obama Administration Not Sticking Up For Payroll Tax Cut * For the past two years, U.S. workers have enjoyed a 2 percentage-point increase in take-home pay thanks to a payroll tax reduction trumpeted by lawmakers as an effective lift for a sagging economy. * In a victory for the Obama administration during the lame duck session of 2010, Congress reduced the payroll tax rate from 6.2 percent to 4.2 percent, giving the average U.S. household an additional $1,000 per year. Democrats demanded an additional extension at the end of 2011, and while Republicans initially balked, the political repercussions of hiking taxes on struggling families proved too much to bear." -- To begin with, all the payroll tax reduction did was reduce end of the year tax refunds, but now that potUS Obluster has no re-election plans, he will extract it back from the middle class as he tries to squeeze the wealthy who will primarily reduce their earned income to below whatever thresholds are necessary to avoid paying more additional taxes. Obluster told his minions to lean "Forward", but now they have, he's gonna want'em to 'Bend Over".

---

Online headline:" Bob Marshall: Virginia GOP Pressures Me '7 Days A Week' To Drop Anti-Abortion Agenda" -- When will the GOP finally recognize that issues between man and God cannot be solved by legislation? I'm as 'pro-life' as anyone, but what a woman or couple decide to do about an unwanted pregnancy is something she or they must deal with God....merciful God...forgiving God, and God will determine her or their eternity. We do not ever need to make women revert to back alley abortions again. All the Republicans should stand up against is government involvement in paying for or promoting abortions. We should all pray for women and couple having to deal with such decisions.

---

Online story: "The Tufts University board of trustees unanimously voted this month to strip famed cyclist Lance Armstrong of the honorary degree given to him at a graduation commencement in 2006" -- What pettiness! If Tufts wants to prove it takes the high ground on moral issues, maybe Tufts should revoke any honorary degrees it has bestowed on every politician who has supported government funded abortions.

---

Online story: "TORONTO -- The former executive director of a Salvation Army facility has been charged in the alleged massive theft of thousands of toys and donations from the charity's Toronto warehouse. * Staff Insp. Tony Riviere said Monday David Rennie, 51, is charged with theft, possession of stolen goods and breach of trust and will appear in court on Jan. 4. * The Salvation Army announced the theft last week, saying up to 100,000 items worth about $2 million were allegedly stolen from the facility in Toronto's North End over nearly two years. * Salvation Army Spokesman John Murray says Rennie had been fired. Murray says the charity will work to ensure it never happens again>" -- What a horrible happening, but the Salvation Army should be supported for bringing this to light and going after the 'sob' rather than trying to sweep it under the carpet. Hmmm, we should be glad potUS Obluster was not the one to discover the scandal.

---

Is it Morsi or Mursi? Different news sources have taken sides with this issue, but that doesn't bother me like potUS Obluster supporting him regardless of how he spells his name.

---

Looks like interim superintendent John Phillips has been deemed the "fall upon the sword" messenger for the MCSD board. What does he care.... he has full pension and is double dipping for as long as he curries favor of the board. What we need is a superintendent who will 'fall on the sword" for the students' needs.

---

From the standpoint of having a $8,500.00 a month superintendent on the payroll ( at $60,000.00 for the next 7 months versus $120,000.00) let's not lose perspective that we were glad Phillips resigned. Is Auburn going to rehire Chizik in a couple of years because he'll work cheaper?

---

One of the criteria for the new superintendent is "five years of successful experience as a superintendent in a similar urban district,". Huh? When was the last time WE had a superintendent with 5 years of success? In fact, when was the last time we had a superintendent who served for 5 years?

---

Also of note is the age of some of the applicants/aspirants mentioned in the L-E story: Eugene White is 65 and Jim Arnold is 60. Why is the MCSD entertaining candidates that are soon to retire? Focus should be on someone out to make his/her mark, not someone thinking about buying a new La-Z-Boy.

---

How can the government force us to have government issued I'D to board an airplane, yet sue states that require a government issued ID to vote?

---

L-E "Thought for Today": “In youth we feel richer for every new illusion; in maturer years, for every one we lose.” — Anne Sophie Swetchine, Russian-French author (1782-1857). -- Sounds like the evolution from a liberal DUMBERat to a Conservative and Responsible adult.

---

L-E story: "COLUMBUS, Ohio — A condemned killer trying to delay his execution because of his extreme weight hasn’t raised enough new issues to warrant the legal challenge, a federal judge ruled Monday. * Death row inmate Ronald Post, who weighs more than 400 pounds, is asking the courts to stop his January execution on the grounds his weight could cause him to suffer severe pain during the procedure." -- What the judge should said was that the guy should just be left in his cell and let him starve to death. Both problems solved, and tremendous saving on the prison meal costs alone.

---

Thank heavens the Florida State-GA Tech game is on at 8:00 PM Saturday. Hallmark has a new Christmas movie premiering at the same time so I'll have something entertaining and worthwhile to watch.

Why is Nick Saban concerned where the loser of the SEC Championship game will playing during the Bowl season? Is there a chink in his confidence?

---

L-E headline: "Buffett urges higher taxes on ‘ultrarich’ -- Hmmm, sorta like Br'er Rabbit urging Br'er Bear and Br'er Fox not to throw him into the briar patch.

Monday, November 26, 2012

Two online headlines of "class destruction": "John McCain Softens Opposition To Susan Rice Nomination" & "Lindsey Graham: 'I Will Violate The Pledge' To Not Increase Taxes" -- These two make Jimmy Carter seem pertinent. The Republican Party needs to declare a moratorium on TV appearances for McCain and Graham! They are supplying the DUMBERats with every 'sound bite' the 2014 & 2016 DUMBERat National Committee needs to win the Senate and House.

---

Online headline: "LIPA (Long Island Power Authority) Customers Left Without Power For Weeks Sent Normal Electric Bills Despite Blackouts" -- Don't think that wouldn't/doesn't happen here, too. That's the political power of unions and their lobbyist. And do you think the 18,000+ Twinkie makers who lost their jobs will get another union job if they don't stay current with tyheir union dues?

---

Fixing 'loop holes' and such in the corporate tax scenario will not fix the National Debt. There shouldn't even be any corporate tax!

---

From a BC friend: "Surfing at home and abroad this am yields two vexing cogitations that I don't understand all I know about. The first is raw data from IRS that says that the top 1% of income producers paid 22% of federal income taxes, the top 5% paid 40% of income taxes and the top 20% (likely a healthy % of my FB friend list that I know about) paid a whopping 64% of all income taxes in 2009. What the heck is THEIR FAIR SHARE I keep hearing about? YOU GOTTA PUT OUT A LITTLE BIT MORE." -- The amazing aspect of this is that these observations were penned in such brevity by one whose life occupation is one developed to extend his every utterance so that more time can be billed to his clients. This is almost a "paradigm shift".

---

Looks like the 2013 calendars are already out of date. Groundhog Day was celebrated on this past November 7th. potUS Oblunder stepped out of the White House, saw Oh! Fluster shadowing him, and the economy recovery was set back another 4 years.
---

Have you noticed the automobile ads becoming more aggressive in recent weeks since the election? Guess those who voted for potUS Obluster are waiting for free ones, and the rest holding on to their cash.

---

potUS Obluster can speechify he's standing on "principle" in wanting to raise taxes only on the wealthy, but he's really only standing in the way of recovery.

---

HuffPost headline: "Israel's Deeply Troubling Attacks On Journalists" -- Excuse me... Israel has stated many times it will defend itself from terrorists and all their supporters...what's 'troubling' about that?

---

L-E story: "Chizik's assistants have not been fired. If they are, according to a press release from the school, the cost to buy out all of their contracts, including Chizik's, would be $11.09 million." -- This is just confirmation that there is too much money in college sports! AU will spend that much more in replacement coaches as well.

---

Chizik accepting a buy-out package just proves he's wasn't worthy of the position to begin with. A worthy person would have simply resigned and walked away after the season AU just had.

---

After all the time it took to get the parking lot at Columbus Square ripped out and replaced with grass, if the MCSD board builds an Arts Academy school there, the whole area will be back in concrete and asphalt.

From a fellow BCer: "Should a president lead citizens in a national prayer of repentance? Uganda’s Christian president believes so. The Ugandan newssite New Vision reports President Yoweri Museveni celebrated Uganda’s 50th anniversary of independence from Britain at the National Jubilee Prayers event by publicly repenting of his personal sin and the sins of the nation." -- This amidst a Muslim world. Praise God!
---

I get my L-E delivered digitally, but of late, the print edition seems to have a better "on time" performance, and that has to be delivered by trucks from Montgomery versus a few milliseconds by cable. What gives?

Online headline: "Clown Dies During Thanksgiving Parade" -- Ooops. my bad. Rumors of Mayor Bloomberg's death were exaggerated.

Online headline/story: "Schools Failing To Support Pregnant Teens, Study Says * MIAMI -- When 15-year-old Kali Gonzalez became pregnant, the honors student considered transferring to an alternative school. She worried teachers would harass her for missing class because of doctor's appointments and morning sickness. * A guidance counselor urged Gonzalez not to, saying that could lower her standards." -- "Lower her standards"? There are no longer standards in public schools.

DUMBERat spinmeisters are out denying illegal aliens awaiting deportation action are eligible for government programs such as food stamps, housing and med care. Remember potUS Oblunder's Auntie Zeituni? She's still illegally here, and she's still on the public dole of public housing, food, and med care, AND free legal services.

---

A DUMBERat spinmeister is out claiming strong unions are good for the economy because they put more money in their member pockets to spend in their communities. Huh? Does the guy even know about the now 18,000 displaced Hostess Twinkies workers, or know how bad the local Detroit economy is in spite of an average $78.00 per hour the car makers pay?

---

Justice has a way of appearing in unexpected ways, especially if you are a Pennsylvania college professor who encouraged students to vote for potUS Obluster because of HELL-thSCARE. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Community College Of Allegheny County has decided to limit some of its professors to 25 hours a week which puts them on a part time status which eliminates the college from having to provide them healthcare.

---

Catastrophic union labor defeats; college professors having hours cut to save on HELL-thSCARE costs; seems to me, there's a tsunami of buyer's regret for potUS Obluster's Marxist makeover for AmeriKa.

---

Military body armor has been recalled as defective. The company says it has a repair solution. I have a suggestion on retesting the body armor in the future. Board members and top executives must wear the armor for future testing before Amy piece is issued to our military or police forced.

---

After the last election. Denver confirmed its claim of bring the "Mile High City".
---

I heard a newscast promote celebrities as "Hollywood's brightest stars". "Hollywood's brightest stars"? Definitely the top oxymoronic analogy of the decade.

---

Media reports citizens in Cairo are rebelling over Mohammed Morsi declaring himself "above the law". We are in more trouble than we think. potUS Obluster did the same but our mainstream media saw to it he got re-elected.

---

Washington state and Colorado voters passed laws allowing marijuana for recreational use. Doh!

---

From L-E story: "I think we would be in a complete violation of the people's trust if we did not fulfill what we promised them that they voted for. ..As long as the receipts will cover the items articulated, you have to fund those first. I don't think we have a choice legally." Cathy Williams, school board chairwoman" -- The 'complete violation of the people's trust'? The MCSD lost that when it proposed $50 million more in projects than it knew SPLOST receipts would cover! All those phantom project wishes were added into the proposal simply to buy individual district representatives and voters support. These false projections of revenue border on, if not define, bribery.

---

From the L-E's publishing of Columbus Council's agenda: "(12) A Resolution authorizing a Special Exception to allow existing buildings located at 3604 Macon Road that are greater than 5,000 square feet under roof and are located in a NC (neighborhood commercial) zoning district. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department recommend approval. " -- This is quote-unquote wording. Can anyone tell me what exactly is the "Special Exception" the Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department are recommending Council approve?

---

The marketing department for the ACC must really feel like resigning today. Yesterday Ga Tech lost to UGA, and Florida State lost to the Gators, and the ACC marketing team has one week to convince advertisers that record numbers of TV fans will be watching the 6-6 Yellow Jackets play the Seminoles after both teams lost to their instate rivals from the SEC.

---

L-E story: "Hundreds of gay rights activists marched through New Delhi on Sunday to demand that they be allowed to lead lives of dignity in India's deeply conservative society." -- A good start would be to "be dignified" in the way they k]live their lives. Raucous "gay pride" exhibitionist-oriented parades do not send a 'dignified' message.

News stories concerning Walmart included digs by customers agreeing with the strikers because the customers would rather be with their families than work on Thanksgiving Day.........DOH! Why weren't those customers at home with their families rather than out shopping on Thanksgiving Day?

Unfortunately, 47% of those would get a tax credit instead.

The last time I ventured to a shopping mall the weekend after Thanksgiving was at the Mall of America in Minnesota in 1992. I had seen a piece about the Mall of America (at 4.5 MILLION square feet, America's largest) on a Good Morning America show the prior September. It said the M of A was expecting 180,000 people on Black Friday... 180,000 people was the population of Columbus, and I wanted to be there to see/experience that.
---
L-E writer Dimon Kendrick-Holmes wrote about the search for a new school superintendent: "The bigger you are, the slower you move. That applies to just about everything except maybe SEC defensive linemen. It certainly applies to the Muscogee County School District. " -- It's not the size of the MCSD that's the problem (the number of public school students hasn't varied by more than a few hundred since 1990, and currently has the same amount of students as it did in 1990), it's having to many heads on one body, each wanting to move in opposite directions (sorta like the cartoon character, Cat-Dog).

L-E headline: "Arafat's remains said to be exhumed Tuesday" -- well, let's just make sure he's dead when they re-inter him!

The way for-profit colleges are springing up because of the easily available government college loan programs, I keep looking for some college to offer a degree in cat training.

What a relief it was yesterday to turn on the TV to catch a Thanksgiving Day Parade and it not be one from San Francisco with Council approved naked guys.

---

Online headline/story: "Susan Rice Defends Benghazi Remarks: U.S. Ambassador Dismisses McCain Accusations * "When discussing the attack against our facilities in Benghazi, I relied solely and squarely on the information provided to me by the intelligence community," she said." -- Loyalty is a wonderful trait...blind loyalty at the expense of truth is Machiavellian at best.

---

For Jesse Jackson, Jr to resign from Congress from a Chicago Congressional District must mean he really p-offed DUMBERat powers that be.

---

Looks like I'll be shopping at Walmart for anything they carry on our lists. Walmart has become purely a target for unions. If you see any protesters, let'em know you're shopping at Walmart just to deflate union efforts.

---

It's almost fitting, almost ironic, that the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade is held in the city with the most gas filled political figures... Clinton, Rangel, Schumer, Bloomberg, Sharpton, and Cuomo.

---

San Francisco has to be the only place a Victoria's Secret fashsion show would be referred to as a modest event.

---

potUS Obluster pardoned Cobbler and Gobbler, but who is impowered to pardon Washington's two biggest turkeys, Obluster and Oh! Fluster?,
---

Mayor Bloomberg of New York was on CBS telling us people in other countries can't visualize being in a county that government doesn't interfere their personal lives. Huh? This coming from a man who banned larger than 16 ounce sodas in his city?

---

How disgusting can NBC get? In his moment of "stardom" on the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, Al Roker was little more than a commercial messenger for the Weather Channel and reality show, The Biggest Loser". Well, Al Roker was undoubtedly the biggest loser on TV yesterday.

---

L-E story: "CAIRO — Egypt’s Islamist president (Mohammed Morsi) unilaterally decreed greater authorities for himself Thursday and effectively neutralized a judiciary system that had emerged as a key opponent by declaring that the courts are barred from challenging his decisions. " -- Hmmmm, a simple case of 'monkey see, monkey do' as Mohammed Morsi copies Hussein Obluster.

---

There is something wrong with our juvenal justice system if it takes between $29,000.00 and $90,000.00 per bed to incarcerate each juvenile simply because recidivism is so high. Incarceration that doesn't drive home the point that a juvenile criminal doesn't ever want to go back to jail is a waste of tax dollars. Obviously, too many juveniles look at jail as an acceptable alternative for 3 squares, a bed, and a roof, versus earning one's way honestly in the outside world.

I do not know which Gene Chizik should feel most embarrassed about... his 3-8 record or having the NCAA investigate his recruiting players to have a 3-8 season?

Gobble, gobble... may we even find the blessing potUS Obluster has deep inside.

---

Online story: "NEW YORK –- MSNBC President Phil Griffin labels his network's sensibility as progressive, but the cable news channel could also be described these days as simply pro-Obama. * In the final week of the 2012 election, MSNBC ran no negative stories about President Barack Obama and no positive stories about Republican nominee Mitt Romney, according to a study released Monday by the Pew Research Center's Project for Excellence in Journalism." -- That explains the new MSNBC motto that's floating around..."All the news that's S**t to present"

---

Online headline/story: "Osama Bin Laden Death: New Details Revealed About Burial * The Pentagon also said it could not find any death certificate, autopsy report or results of DNA identification tests for bin Laden" -- Guess the death certificate musta been filed in Hawaii.

---

Online story: "In preparation for a possible $30 million cash shortfall, Detroit Mayor Dave Bing said Wednesday the City would implement unpaid furloughs for workers beginning Jan. 1, 2013 as well as "other cost-saving measures." -- Hmmm, guess Detroiters will have to rely on their "Vote Obama" pension funds.

---

Online headline: "Jesse Jackson Jr. Resignation: Illinois Congressman Is Leaving Congress" -- Another one... Thanksgiving is really bringing the turkeys out of the closet.

---

The White House released a statement yesterday saying that his only official event of the day would be to " pardon" the White House turkey. I guess that is all the time he'll have free after deciding which of the White House turkeys most need a presidential pardon.
---

Online picture:

White House ceremony pardoning two white turkeys.

---

Even though I put the e-mail address from barackobama.com in my 'spam filter', I'm still getting a few. One yesterday filled with potUS Obluster's 'plan' was also seeking donations. The election is over. This should be illegal for a second term president

---

A basketball player at Grinnell scored 138 points in a single college basketball game. No word as to whether or not he had any assists.
---

Now, after constant denial, the head of National Security, James Clapper, now says it was he who changed the CIA's "talking points" associated with the Benghazi terrorist attack. I can only surmise that somewhere along the line, he changed the spelling of his name... and substituted for a "r" with a "l".

---

From a heads up from a fellow BCer: His social security check is now called a Federal Benefit Check. Excuse me, but our social security checks come from the wallets of ourselves and our pre-retirement employers. Now, if potUS Obluster wants to re-label SS checks paid to non-qualifying recipients, so be it, but he had no right to claim the same to those who paid into it all their lives.

---

Two questions: Has anyone seen or heard anything on the $500,000.00 hybrid buses the city bought with the "Stim-YOU-LIE" funds, and has anyone seen the current enrollment figures at CSU for the fall semester? CSU made a lot of noise when the figures were growing so I'm guessing the fall figures may not have been so good.

---

Any chance we can get Eddie Lowe (or all the Lowe's) to move to Columbus and be ready to run for mayor here in 2014?

---

L-E headline: "Big disappointment in brain injury treatment study " -- Ooops, my bad. Hoped a cure for "You can't fix stupid DUMBERat voters" was going to work.

---

I thought Marl Shelnutt was exiled from Muscogee County; why are there still court actions with his involvement going on?

---

Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "If $100 billion of American corporate money were going to the Cayman Islands each year, that would be $1.76 million per resident per year. " -- New math? If $100 billion were distributed in $1.76 million dollars 'grants", only about 57,000 could do so. That would mean 310,943,000 (98.17%) American would get nothing. That would mean that of the 99 percenters, most would be worse off than they were when they started "Occupying".

---

I guess it WAS a blessing for New Yorkers (et al) to see the GA Power teams in their neighborhoods, but will Con Ed (et al) make donations to GA Power so OUR rates won't go up?

---

The only way the Bush Tax Cuts will be extended will be if the mainstream media starts referring to such as what they will be, the potUS Obluster Tax increases on the middle class. Heaven forbid the effects on the economy, and every pension and savings accounts if dividends and capital gains get taxed as ordinary income!

---

Has it occurred to you that one day the ACLU may file suit to end Thanksgiving because it, too, is a day of prayer for God's blessings? Thanxalot, ACLU.. NOT!

---

If anyone doesn't see the pitfalls of once-a-week garbage pickups, remember your day could be a Thursday or a Friday, and during Thanksgiving weekend, the garbage you had from the previous week might still be around when this weekend's garbage is picked up the following Thurs/Friday. The same can occur on many National Holidays as well.

---

L-E headline: "Elmo actor resigns amid sex allegation " -- Hmm sorta brings a sickness to the "Tickle Me Elmo" collection.

---

After all the travails of finding "Trouble With The Curve" showing at a time we could fit in to our schedules, my bride and I managed to catch it at the Peachtree 8 on Tuesday. It was a cute, uplifting movie about father-daughter relationships and the diminishing aspects of aging. It didn't do well at the box office as it's timing followed Eastwood's debate with a chair, and the liberal media critics panned this movie in revenge. Check it out if it's still showing in your area, and it'll be a worthwhile purchase/rental when available on DVD/Blu-Ray.

"Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses." - George Washington Carver

Online story: "Mohammed Ludovic Lütfi Zahed wants to open a mosque for gay muslims in France. According to Hurriyet Daily News, Zahed realized he needed to start a "mosque for gays" after going on the holy pilgrimage. * Whereas a new generation of younger Muslims are seeking LGBT-friendly mosques as well as progressive reform and open acceptance of same-sex marriages" -- Can't wait for our mainstream media to start calling Ahmadine-JIHAD a bigoted, sexist homophobe, and mainstream media seeking political asylum at Fox News.

---

How come no one is accusing Muslims for being religiously intolerant? Let's face it, indiscriminately firing missiles into Israel is keeping Christians from visiting the birthplace and historic monuments of Jesus' life.

---

Congressman Marcia Fudge, D*D-Ohio, just threw the first race card of the 2014 & 2016 election campaigns. She accused Republicans of genderism and racism because Susan Rice is being called to be accountable for her falsehoods concerning her Benghazi statements. Shame on Congressman Fudge and DUMBERats everywhere. BTW, Congressperson Fudge is the new chairperson of the Congressional Black Caucus. Guess that means racial advancement will be "put on further hold" for the next few years.

---

Maryland leaving the ACCESS to join the Big 10... the ACC wins. Hmmm, another "win" would be for Washington, D.C. to secede and join the Europian Union.

---

We enjoy watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark station, but it's discouraging that whenever someone says, "this or that is what Christmas is all about", it's usually about his/her presents, not His presence.

---

Isn't it ironic, maybe more mo-ronic, that atheists, and non-Christian religions want to share in Christmas, but don't want Christians to display the reason for the season?

---

Another Islamic nation has now called Israel a terrorist state. Turkey has now confirmed its Muslim control.

---

Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "The Ledger was free to look at online, and now it’s not. Being a liberal rag must be hurting your business. " -- No, the L-E is feeling the effects of supporting potUS Obluster's entitlement agenda, and after getting free Obamaphones, the parasites now want free Obama-news.

---

An aged liberal's L-E "soundoff": "I’m so old I can remember when the Ledger-Enquirer wasn’t filled with liberal nonsense and it was delivered on time." -- None of those conditions ever existed; that's just your Alzheimer's kicking in.

---

L-E headline: "Fulton Co. delays vote to fix faulty jail locks" -- Yeah, why fix'em when the courts consider them swinging doors.

---

Whatta blow to marijuana users in Colorado and Washington State.... no more Twinkies when the munchies set in.

---

L-E story: "The new Phenix City Council unanimously passed a resolution Tuesday night that will put the brakes on future municipal borrowing while it awaits results from city audits dating back to 2010." -- I usually don't report on activities across the river, but this is a significant step for Phenix City. Wish our Council would do the same.

---

From the 'only in Pelosi-land' department - L-E headline/story: "San Francisco barely approves nudity ban * Faced with complaints about a band of so-called Naked Guys gathering daily in the Castro District, Supervisor Scott Wiener introduced legislation last month to ban public nudity citywide, except for at permitted festivals and parades. * When the final vote was taken, the supervisors cast their ballots 6 to 5 on Tuesday to require clothing under most circumstances on the streets of San Francisco." -- Whew. for a moment there, I was thinking we wouldn't get see any naked "Toms or Hens" in the Thanksgiving Day parade.

---

L-E story: "WASHINGTON — The nation’s health care overhaul took another step forward Tuesday when the Obama administration proposed new rules that clarify insurers’ duties and legal responsibilities under key provisions of the Affordable Care Act. * The law, which critics have long referred to as “Obamacare,” makes it illegal for insurance companies to deny coverage to people with preexisting conditions, beginning in 2014." -- Not until "2014"? And you only thought you'd seen the affect of HELL-thScare on your insurance premiums... the main cost increases are yet to be.

---

Over-the-counter-birth-control-pills? The nation's largest group of OB-GYNs are now advocating such. Can you imagine the effect on preteen girls buying such without their parents knowledge? Or, the school system requiring them in sex ed classes? This madness has to end!

Wow... Goldie Hawn is older than me! 67 today, she is.

Online story: "The word of the year, according to Dictionary.com, is 'Bluster', we can exclusively reveal. * Dictionary.com defines the word thusly: 1. to roar and be tumultuous, as wind; 2. to be loud, noisy, or swaggering; utter loud, empty menaces or protests: He blusters about revenge but does nothing." -- NAME CHANGE! potUS Oblunder now becomes "Obluster" and the Dumbnamic Duo becomes "Obluster and Oh! Brother".

--

Online headline/story: "Obama Says Burma, Myanmar Both During Landmark Visit * The issue is so sensitive that Obama's aides had said earlier Monday he would likely avoid mentioning either politically charged name. But he used both during his six-hour trip – "Myanmar" during morning talks with Thein Sein, "Burma" afterward while visiting with opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi." -- Why doesn't this come as 'no surprise'; I often wonder whether he refers to the United States of America as 'the Colonies' when speaking in England.

---

Why do we have an elected school board if members won't vote on issues that need addressing because someone or some group doesn't want anything to be changed ? Just one more good reason why passing the Charter Amendment was necessary.

---

Once again, why is the interim superintendent the school board messenger sent out to be slaughtered. SPLOST issues are not the realm of an interim hire.

---

I just had a KitKat Halloween candy bar... the chocolate was Orange colored... there ought to be a law against such sacrilege.

---

Observation from a fellow BCer: "OVER 20,000,000 OBAMA PHONES, COSTING SOME 15.00 PER PHONE PER MONTH. THAT ‘S SOME 3.6 BILLION A YEAR. OVER 10 YEARS THAT WOULD SAVE 36 BILLION. NOT BAD CHUMP CAHANGE. THIS NUMBER COULD PROBABLY BE DOUBLED." -- Sometimes, you just have to scream.

---

Let's face it, any investigation started, even encouraged, by D&D Senator Diane Feinstein concerning Benghazi has to be suspect as to whether she really wants to uncover the real truth or obfuscate it.

---

One of those intrusive ED ads says you should contact your doctor if after taking the pill, and you have a sudden loss of vision: you should call your doctor immediately. Huh? Who can get in touch with his doctor immediately? On another point, if you're "suddenly blinded", how do you find your phone?

---

MC Hammer.... you know, "Hammertime"... Do you realize that song was written in 1990? Has he made any songs since then?

---

Union concessions at Dolly Madison included conditions such as Hostess Twinkies could not be delivered on the same trucks as Wonder Bread. Well, after seeing the results of bad faith union negotiations, it's more than obvious that every Dolly Madison delivery truck was fueled by "union Twinkies".

---

OK, the election is over, so let's focus on Benghazi. potUS Obluster says he gave the order to do "whatever is necessary" to save American lives there. Hmmmm, sounds like he gave the military a " direct order", and the order wasn't carried out. OK, let's SEE that order. Obviously, since potUS Oblunder told the world what he said, then it's not top secret/classified information, so there has to be written documentation of such, and to whom it was directed, so let's see it. Even CNN/MSNBC can't justify letting potUS Obluster put such documentation in his college records file.

---

Online story: "The word of the year, according to Dictionary.com, is 'Bluster', we can exclusively reveal. * Dictionary.com defines the word thusly: 1. to roar and be tumultuous, as wind; 2. to be loud, noisy, or swaggering; utter loud, empty menaces or protests: He blusters about revenge but does nothing." -- NAME CHANGE! potUS Oblunder now becomes "Obluster" and the Dumbnamic Duo becomes "Obluster and Oh! Brother".

---

L-E headline: "'Bed tax' a windfall for some hospitals" -- Here's another one of those tax bites few knew about before now. Seems that even if you had a private room in a hospital, you are paying for someone else sleeping in your bed with you. Hospitals don't pay this tax; insurance companies don't pay this tax... you do, I do, whether it be in higher direct costs or higher insurance premiums.

---

L-E headline: "US sends Clinton to Mideast to try to end conflict" -- Sending a woman into the Muslim turmoil.... I'm sure the leaders of the PLO, Hamas, Hezbollah, and al Qaida will respect he as much as they did Golda Meir.

---

L-E headline: "Study finds apes have midlife crisis " -- Oooops, my bad. Thooght thios was the conference discussion of the National Organization of Women.

---

L-E headline: "MYANMAR * OBAMA: ‘YOU GAVE US HOPE’ -- News? Why didn't the L-E print one that saidsaid, "Clinton: You gave us Monica"?

---

L-E story: "WASHINGTON — There’s a new push to make testing for the AIDS virus as common as cholesterol checks. * Americans ages 15 to 64 should get an HIV test at least once — not just people considered at high risk for the virus, an independent panel that sets screening guidelines proposed Monday." -- And we wonder why medical costs are running amok.

---

L-E headline: "GAZA-ISRAEL TALKS * U.S. approach to talks shows new reluctance to referee " -- Well, America roared when Lingerie League referees were used in the NFL, and they were better qualified than potUS Obluster. Of course, this out, XpotUS Clinton will campaign to replace Hillary; Bill of course, is a proven lingerie fan, but can you even imagine her in lingerie?

---

Before any further action is taken on funding the 911 system, shouldn't the public be shown what are the actual expenses of the 911 system? My image is basically a phone center manned by police trained personnel who can evaluate calls for urgency, and dispense info to the proper police/fire/EMT departments. $3,600,000.00 is a lot of money, but if it's not "enough", then we should know why it's "not enough".

---

The Benghazi snafu, especially concerning Susan Rice, was a planned dodge by potUS Obluster. Sending out a messenger BECAUSE she had no information that countered what she was ordered to say was as calculated a step as potUS Obluster is capable of making.

---

L-E headline: "Alabama football notes: Saban has positive words for Chizik, Dooley" -- Natch! Why would he want them to leave when he beats'em like a drum?

---

MCSD has spent many thousands of dollars providing 'netbooks' to Carver and Spencer high school students. The thousands of dollars included GPS recovery software. Ask your board member how many of the missing/stolen ones have been located and returned. Also ask them why other high schools haven't been issued 'netbooks' for all their students?

---
From the "Fred Sandford..it's a heart attack" department -

After all it's kowtowing to fringe groups over the past several Christmas Seasons, Target may have finally gotten the message:
