From the "it's not one world" department - Online story: "ISLAMABAD -- A
Pakistani couple accused of killing their 15-year-old daughter by pouring acid
on her carried out the attack because she sullied the family's honor by looking
at a boy, the couple said in an interview broadcast Monday by the BBC" -- It may
work for Allah, but no way doesn this honor God.
---
Online story: "Conscientious to the end, supporters kept knocking on doors
in search of a possibly decisive vote. * In Enfield, N.H., Obama volunteer Sarah
Ayres recalled driving up a deserted dirt road, unsure if she would find the
house she was looking for. She turned down a long driveway, she said, got out of
her car, and was met by a friendly, white goat. * "There were no people home,
but the goat was there, so I don't know if I should count that as a contact,"
she joked." -- "joked"? The goat was probably registered by ACORN and voted in
2008, and was still on the voter list.

Sure is good news to hear NCR has landed an important contract with
Walmart. Woulda been nice if CB&T had seen fit to use our local company
rather than one in Germany for its new ATM machines.

Think about this: Why is Bill Clinton actively campaigning for potUS
Oblunder so hard? I figure that he knows that if Romney wins, Romney will win in
2016, and Ryan will pick up the torch in 2020 & 2024, and Hillary will get
shut out.
---
Hey, New York City and New Jersey... How's FEMA working out got you so
far?!
---
Lanny Davis, eternal voice of the DIM&DUMBERats, claims potUS Oblunder
will win because Chris Christie helped him demonstrate how potUS Oblunder
'could' work in a non-partisan manner that he promised voters in 2008....
Huh?
---
Voting an incumbent out is not that easy. There is a certain comfort in
knowing what the sitting politician will probably do whether or not it agrees
with your assessment than roll the dice for someone new..BUT, in this case, the
incumbent is acting like the challenger, and the challenger looks like he should
have been there 4 years ago.
---
You know that promise about barackobama.com saying the last item in my
e-mail box was 3 days ago... got five more last night. One sent after midnight
offered me a free bumpersticker if I would "Like" him on Facebook...

Late game Hail Mary passes thrown by Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Wonder
for potUS Oblunder are under review as to whether they were completions or not.
A Springsteen rally in Madison, Wisconsin drew a 'crowd' of 18,000; in 2008,
Springsteen drew 70,000 there, and Stevie Wonder's rally in Cleveland drew but a
D&D estimated 13,500. Even Stevie Wonder could see this was not what was
expected.
---
Paul Ryan sums up potUS Oblunder's economic disaster as one that has
failed, not because it was stopped, but because it was passed!
---
Because of a clause in the sales agreement, CNN kept its time slot in the
mornings for CNN News & the 700 Club on the ABC Family TV station. ABC then
runs a disclaimer saying "ABC Family does not share the same view". What a sad
state of denial..

If the GA Department of Labor took an unemployment count here ion Columbus
yesterday based on the number of sign holders on Macon Road, the unemployment
number would be down to 0%.

L-E story: "Muscogee County School District interim superintendent John
Phillips proposed Monday night eliminating and deferring millions of dollars
worth of projects to make up a shortfall expected to be as much as $40 million
in the $223,155,784 list voters approved to fund in 2009 with a 1 percent sales
tax." -- Well, well, well... been after the School Board to admit that the
original SPLOST amount it projected was bogus by this amount (or slightly more)
from the day it was projected. So, who do they hire to be the messenger... none
other than the interim Superintendent. The School Board lacks testosterone
producing necessities.
---
It's bad enough that it's taken so long for the School Board to admit its
flawed calculations, but no way is the job of changing direction of SPLOST money
one that should be done by an interim Superintendent! It's OK to put plans 'on
hold' until a permanent Superintendent is found.
---
One other point... I thought SPLOST projects were voted on by the
community. It the money is not there for the "voted on projects", any money that
comes in money should not be redirected to other projects. Let it offset the
property taxes the year following the SPLOST retirement.
---
The School Board's stance on the Charter School Amendment is that the
supporters just want 'unfettered access" to tax dollars. Well, we have given the
MCSD Board/System "unfettered access" to state AND local tax dollars up until
today. Today would be a great time to give the taxpayers another option. Vote a
resounding "YES" om State Amendment 1 !
---
I think our State Department should send a letter to whatever island
country Registe was returned from on the basis that the US would not seek the
death penalty saying... "we lied" and 'we' are severing all ties with it, and
will not issue visas to American citizens.... ever again! Same for Aruba!
---
I'm curious... since State Universities do not allow out-of-state students
to use their college addresses as 'proof of state' residency, why do election
boards accept such addresses as a voter registration requirement?
---
You know, you'd think the L-E's Foreclosure Section would be getting
slimmer at the end of potUS Oblunder's term.... but it's not!
---
If you don't feel you have any reason to vote today, I'm going to offer the
use of my reasons... America, my daughters, and 6 months old Sophia Grace... and
their future!
---
Putting a sign on my door.... "Gone Voting"!
