Online story: "New Jersey Residents Can Vote By Email Or Fax, Governor Chris Christie Says" -- Is Chris Christie suffering from a sugar imbalance? Every candidate has a list of registered voters in their districts whether it be a ward, district, state , or national election which means someone can sit at a computer at all the libraries, nursing homes, and even prisons and vote for registered voters. It would take months for checking the validity of such fax or e-mail votes.

Online headline: "John Kerry Mocks Mitt Romney On Twitter With Picture Of Robot"

-- Looks more like Algore, but what validity does John Kerry have as an opinion maker?

He's a 'kept man', an embarrassing veteran, and almost put John Edwards a heartbeat away from the Oval Office.

---

Les Miles made the same mistake Nick Saban made in the LSU-BAMA game last year. As the.half wound down, Miles ordered a long field goal attempt on 4th down instead of punting. Alabama got the ball in good field position and had time to get another TD right before halftime. Ditto for the game winning TD. You cannot let good teams have good field position when the game is on the line.

Talking about ugly uniforms... Oregon's uniform of the week looked like an urban-metro version of a Star Wars Storm Trooper.

---

CBS and ABC really are hypocrites. Both have vilified Chick-fil-A's Dan Cathey for his moral stance, but you won't see either network turn down his checks for football game advertising.

---

Yesterday morning I told you barackobama.com said I'd heard the last from them. They lied.... again... twice, thrice, a fourth, now fifth... so far, and the day's not over.

---

Mississippi State ran an institutional ad asking "for whom the cow bell rings". Well, it sure didn't ring for the football team.
---

I am fed up with political add that end with the politician saying, "I'm so-n-so, and I approve of this message." Gimme a break... he/she paid for the ad in the first place.

---

What's with those Big 12 teams the SEC invited in? First, Missouri, and now Texas A&M wearing ugly uniforms.
---

If there is real justice in the world, I hope Barney Frank, Charlie Rangel, and Chris Dodd found their houses "under water" during Hurricane Sandy.

---

New Yorkers and others are seeing first hand that wind and solar power will not replace gasoline, and how useless your electric vehicle is following a widespread power outage.

---

potUS Oblunder is asking for your vote for him as revenge for Mitt Romney... On the other hand, Mitt Romney asks for your vote because of your love of country.
---

If my house got flooded by Hurricane Sandy, and I didn't have flood insurance at the time, according to potUS Oblunder, I can still call my agent and get retroactive coverage, right?

---

Benghazi is not the only attack potUS Oblunder fails to acknowledge as Muslim terrorism.. Don't forget the "Boyz'n the (Ft) Hood" attack.
---
The City of Columbus says 'no' to religious activities whenever it can as part of the governmental attitude of 'separating' the two entities, but out of the 24 voting precincts we have, 16 are on church properties.
---
A man was arrested here in Columbus with a pound of methamphetamine. Having read too many horror stories, I thought to myself, "Good work, officers!". Then I thought about some addict crying at the same story. That's dastardly stuff....
---
I'm looking at the Council resolution list and note the number of CFD and CPD retirees with 30-40 years of service. We'll miss these public service folks, but after that long in the trenches, they deserve such. I have a different perspective of other government employees retiring in their mid-fifties with 30 years and getting to draw pensions immediately.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": "No one is so eager to gain new experience as he who doesn't know how to make use of the old ones." - Marie Ebner von Eschenbach, Austrian writer (1830-1916) -- Nice timing... sorta describes our current president ... potUS Oblunder who used his Community Organizing 'skills' to develop current South Chicago, and take out our national healthcare system, and wants 4 more years to polish the US off.
---
Come on, L-E... bailing out on picking a presidential choice? Not endorsing potUS Oblunder..again... is a cop out. Not endorsing Romney is, too. Let's not hear any congratulatory brown-nosing on Wednesday or Thursday... either way.

While it's really not necessary, I will vote for Charter Amendment 1 which gives the Mayor another tool to fire personnel, but the rest I hope go down and are never resuscitated. We do not need the confusion of choosing to obey which law (state or municipal) is more convenient. We already have a law prohibiting a former elected official from being appointed to a compensated city job for a year after losing such elected office, and we surely don't want city employees also working in an elected position in another county or state.
---
On state amendments, the Charter Amendment is just an option to insure parents have an option other than the local school system, so I do support this, but the second Amendment choice of allowing multi-year contracts just reeks of opportunity for graft and long-term cronyism.. I'm strongly against this.
---
While I'm at it, the Muscogee County Special Election to allow sales of beer, wine, and liquor on Sundays is not something we need for Columbus to be a wholesome community; in fact, it's a contradiction of such. If you are that desperate, a trip across the river on that occasion already is an option.
---
I'm glad Alabama rose to the occasion. A defeat would probably have eliminated the SEC from the BCS Championship Game which would give AJ McCarron to raise the bar on QB achievements. Now, if GA and Bama meet in the SEC Championship, and GA upsets Bama in Atlanta, GA would have to be considered as a BCS participant. A game between LSU and UGA would not command such consideration for the winner.

Latest from barackobama.com: "To understand why people of faith are so committed to this president and what he stands for, all you need are his own words -- spoken at the 2012 National Prayer Breakfast:

"We can't leave our values at the door. If we leave our values at the door, we abandon much of the moral glue that has held our nation together for centuries, and allowed us to become somewhat more perfect a union. Frederick Douglass, Abraham Lincoln, Jane Addams, Martin Luther King, Jr., Dorothy Day, Abraham Heschel -- the majority of great reformers in American history did their work not just because it was sound policy, or they had done good analysis, or understood how to exercise good politics, but because their faith and their values dictated it, and called for bold action -- sometimes in the face of indifference, sometimes in the face of resistance ...

And so when I talk about our financial institutions playing by the same rules as folks on Main Street, when I talk about making sure insurance companies aren't discriminating against those who are already sick, or making sure that unscrupulous lenders aren't taking advantage of the most vulnerable among us, I do so because I genuinely believe it will make the economy stronger for everybody. But I also do it because I know that far too many neighbors in our country have been hurt and treated unfairly over the last few years, and I believe in God's command to 'love thy neighbor as thyself.'"
--- You know, only potUS Oblunder could, no, would, turn a prayer into a campaign speech.
