After months of time to cool off, to reflect about whom the real culprit of the Sandy Hooks massacre was - a sick (_*_) versus an inanimate object - mainstream media still blames the inanimate object, and curses patriots for defending their Constitutional right. Even after the terror of Boston residents who were shut in their homes as an armed terrorist roamed about elusively, mainstream media won't check its facts that more than enough laws for background checks already exist. The NRA should not only lead the defense of the 2nd Amendment, it might also lead the way in demanding that the mainstream media be stripped of its 1st Amendment right since the mainstream media has abandoned its responsibility to seek and report the truth in all matters.

A 17 year old soccer player punched a ref because he disagreed with a call. The ref is in a coma still as I write. (Update: the referee has died) It reminds me of an incident I observed about 8 years ago in Columbus during an U-16 tournament. A player rattled off an eternity of curse words at a ref, for which the ref issued him his second "yellow card" of the game. I was sitting with some of the tournament officials when the kid's mother came over to complain about the ref basically kicking her son out of the game. The officials said that there was nothing they could/would do. I piped up (surprise) and said, "Lady, if my mother had heard me say the things your son said, she'd have come out on the field and dragged me off by my ear. He should be embarrassed for such an outburst, and you should be embarrassed for not beating the ref in yanking him out of the game." She stomped away. Guess that explained her son's upbringing.
