Online story: "...the young women, all of whom gave statements for the
police report, which was obtained recently by several news outlets, including
the the Cleveland Plain Dealer, NBC local affiliate WKYC and The New York
Times." -- Oh, this was about the Cleveland kidnapping... of course, do you
think any of the 3 'news' outlets have done this about Benghazi????

Online headline/story: " Malcolm Shabazz Dead: Grandson Of Malcolm X Killed
In Mexico * “He was murdered. He was in Mexico City and I believe they attempted
to rob him and he didn't allow it, so they beat him to death and he died on his
way to the hospital,” Juan Ruiz, a member of the California-based labor
organization Rumec * Shabazz is the son of Qubilah Shabazz, who was the second
daughter of Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz. In his youth, he set a fire that caused
the death of his grandmother * Shabazz continued to have trouble with the law
throughout his life, The New York Times reported. He plead guilty to attempted
robbery in 2002 and was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. Just
months after his release in 2006, he was arrested again, this time for punching
a hole in a store window." -- What a legacy he inherited, continued, and passed
along.

Online headline: "Man Under Investigation For Fathering Too Many Children"
-- Ooops, my bad... it's about a man in China and the "1 child' rule. I thought
it might be about an NFL player.
---
From the "Happy Mother's Day, mom" department - Online story: "CAMDEN, N.J.
— Kobe Bryant says in a court filing that he never gave his mother permission to
sell mementos from his high school days and early professional basketball
career." -- "Character".... it has a way to be revealed.

Off the wall: I'm still puzzled that both the Jewish and Islamic voters
supported Judas 00-bama in both elections. How do warring religious groups agree
on one candidate?

I really don't understand how someone can claim a gun accident happened
while cleaning a gun, but I really don't understand how one cleans a spear gun
while it's loaded, but it's been claimed, and that's his story and he's sticking
to it.

The latest from www.barackobama/organizingforaction.com:

Break out the tin foil hats, folks.
House Speaker John Boehner and the chairman of the House Science Committee are both unsure whether the science behind climate change -- the stuff that shows pretty clearly that carbon pollution produced by humans is damaging our environment -- is real.

My response to the former campaign manager of Judas 00-bama:
Jim,
Don't trees need carbon dioxide to 'live'? Aren't there more trees now than
200 years ago? You might want to wear a tin foil cap when you're at the next
strategy meeting.

The local powers that be need a new advertising guru. The whitewater gaffe
is not the first time something that could drive our community economically has
fallen flat. "BRAC" for housing and school growth; attempts to vote out the
freeze, the 1980ish attempt at a special road tax and now the whitewater
collapse 2 weeks before opening weekend. Perhaps a better plan would be to start
slowly, get the ducks in a row, then finish with a flourish when it appears
everything is going ad planned. It's a lot more pleasant than scraping egg off
one's face.

That remorseless woman in Arizona who stabbed her hubbies 27 times, shot
him twice to dot the "eyes", then slit his throat from ear-to-ear for good
measure is out doing her Br'er Rabbit skit of "please don't throw me in that
briar patch/cell"! Give her wish and hang her tomorrow before any more tax
dollars are wasted on any more lawyers.
---
Now we hear that the woman guilty of stabbing & slitting her husbands
throat "ear-to-ear" is under "suicide watch". Hadn't she cost taxpayers enough
money? Give her a single shot shotgun and lock her in a window/slot less sound
proof cell and .....

Any lawyer who thinks Death in the case of the woman who killed her husband
in Arizona is a worse sentence than life is only looking at a lifetime meal
ticket.

A 7 year old in a Suffolk County school was suspended for playing a Marine
(ala his Dad) and pointing a pencil at his playmate. I guess it's against school
doctrine to dream of being a hero like your Dad... Hmmm, maybe because we have
too many at school without Dads so no else one can dream about one.

Hey, I saw my first VOLT... on Veterans. Followed it about 3 blocks, and it
before it turned into ... a side street. I held my distance just in case it
suddenly turned into ... a fire.

Have you seen that Ally Bank ad where $100K in a briefcase is given to a
stranger to watch? I'm sure Ally Bank wants you to think that was a random
person, BUT since Ally Bank is really a madeover GMAC, you know Ally Bank
couldn't use an unknown person to do so since Ally Bank is a union house.

Listening to DUMBERats fumbling for words in the Benghazi & Boston
Marathon bombings makes you realize that the Democratic Party should call itself
the party of "I know nuthink"

Wouldn't it be nice if the T-SPLOST include connect I-185 with I-20
straight north of Lagrange? Consider the options for traveling to Atlanta or
Birmingham.

L-E headline: "LESSOR: EVICTION NOTICE
FILED FOR CLUB CREAM
Club
operators told shopping center lessor they were opening a barbecue restaurant "
-- This is pretty lame since no one... and I mean "NO one" would suspect a
bar-b-q restaurant to be named "Club Cream".
---
L-E headline: "Work on Courtyard Marriott begins in Phenix City" --
Hmmm, guess the Marriott wants to be listed if someone "Bings" Hotels/Columbus
GA on Expedia. Or it could be to escape the tax structure
here.
---
Low-info voter's
L-E "soundoff": "Columbus kids are no
different from the rest of the country. They are just lacking the home training
the family unit can provide. Don’t blame the schools." -- I partially agree, but
the schools, via federal funding/strings-attached-grants have stepped in
and assumed parental duties such as transportation, feeding, daycare and
quasi-esteem stroking. The schools catering to such are just a
guilty.
---
Another low-info voter's L-E "soundoff": "No, the reason Obama won the election is Mitt Romney
was an overbearing elitist who thought he was better than everyone else.
Americans, by nature, do not like overbearing rich people." -- Did I say
"low-info voter"? I meant to say "EXTRA low-info voter"...
---
L-E
headline: "Chattahoochee Valley Libraries director finalists answer questions
in public interview * The three finalists to be director of the
Chattahoochee Valley Libraries found different ways to express the same
sentiment" -- Hmmm, exactly the point I made yesterday... let the finalists
write down the their salary 'wants', but knowing that the lowest will be picked.
Have 3 rounds... or until 2 drop out.
---
L-E's
"Thought for Today": “The art of being wise is
the art of knowing what to overlook.” — William James, American psychologist and
philosopher (1842-1910). -- Unfortunately, mainstream media has decided that
overlooking 'the truth' gets them ahead.
---
L-E story: "Meanwhile, bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev was
secretly buried in an undisclosed location outside Worcester after a frustrating
weeklong search for a community willing to take the body, police said Thursday.
" -- Hmmm.. while mainstream media was distracted by the Arizona woman's "guilty
verdict", this was slipped by them. It will come out, and I do hope this
aberration of justice gets corrected. The first places I'd check would be the
Kennedy compounds and Chappaquiddick Pond. There must be plenty of bodies to be
discovered there.
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Talk about high expectations for a
newborn: King and Messiah are among the fastest-rising baby names for American
boys. " -- What did you expect with the implementation of 00-bamaCare... mothers
are naming their boys after the perceived
father.
---
L-E's "Quotable":
“If the
path be beautiful, let us not ask where it leads.” -Anatole France French author (1844-1924)" -- Hmmm,
now that's a quote you're likely to find inscribed on the walls of Nancy
Pelosi's and Judas 00-bama's
offices.
---
L-E headline: "DOWNTOWN PARKING PROPOSALS * CITY SUGGESTS $35
CITATIONS" -- Well, that would work if the intent is to eliminate all shopping
and lunch customers from coming downtown. As it is, when the new City Services
Building open at Columbus Square, most of the traffic for those services will
not have a reason to come downtown again, but this will seal-the-deal. While
Council is at it, how about changing the hours of parking monitoring for nights
and weekends as well. Let's keep Broadway
'car-free'!

L-E headline/story:
"RECORD PROFIT SIGNALS HEALTHIER FANNIE MAE *
And it’s a big reason Fannie decided the time
was right this year to capitalize on the tax benefits of the bad loans it
absorbed during the crisis. * On
Thursday, Fannie said that it applied tax credits it had saved from its losses
on delinquent loans suffered during the crisis to its first-quarter earnings. *
By applying those credits to its 2013
taxes, Fannie reduced what it owed the government and boosted its profit." --
Wait a minute! Fannie Mae is allowed to boost it's profits instead of paying
back the taxpayers? What the 'boost" did was raise the bar on bonuses that the
current political employees can
get.

Point of interest: Last week I pointed out the major holdings of George
Soros.. the Billionaire guy behind "MovingOn.com" (which is tax deductible, and
shouldn't be). One of such is "Google". You know you can 'pin' www.bing.com on your toolbar and use that as your
search engine, or if you're using a 'smart phone' use Google to get to Bing then
do your search.

This should be etched into Judas 00-bama's TelePrompters: "“We are taught you must
blame your father, your sisters, your brothers, the school, the teachers - but
never blame yourself. It's never your fault. But it's always your fault, because
if you wanted to change you're the one who has got to change.”
