The Muscogee County "Relay For Life" was held last night. It was the 7th time I've participated in the 8 held since my lung surgery. It's a great event for anyone who has had cancer strike themselves or family or friends. You are not alone, and this event demonstrates it as well as anything could possibly do. If you haven't done so, plan on joining in next year's event. You'll be glad, no, you'll feel blessed.

---

I've heard the phrase "I know nothing" so many times from the White House, I'm beginning to believe we elected Sgt Schultz as president.

---

Online story: "WASHINGTON — Senior Treasury officials were made aware in June 2012 that investigators were looking into complaints from tea party groups that they were being harassed by the Internal Revenue Service, a Treasury inspector general said Friday, disclosing that Obama administration officials knew there was a probe during the heat of the presidential campaign. * Both defiant and apologetic, (Resigned but still working/getting paid and acting like acting director Stephen) Miller acknowledged agency mistakes in targeting tea party groups for special scrutiny when they applied for tax-exempt status, but he insisted that agents broke no laws and that there was no effort to cover up their actions." -- "acknowledged" targeting, but "broke no laws"? So we know Judas 00-bama "knew", and while parsing the "law", smashed the Constitution and the ETHICS of humanity. Guess Judas 00-bama will 'learn' this from someone's 'twitter report' when he gets back to Washington.

---

The Benghazi travesty.... it's not so much about what or what wasn't done about safety and security at the 'diplomat facility', it was, and is about the hanging out to dry of American citizens serving in a dangerous condition. Then it was about stateside politicians and appointees playing games of CYA and finger pointing. There's no question not enough was done in responding to Americans under fire. Brave men died thinking help was coming, but their families and all our American soldiers know they were abandoned by the politicos they depend on their own safety. This has to be a chink in the trust all current and future soldiers will have in the current administration and DUMBERats.

---

You know, the IRS has the power to strip our U.S. Supreme Court Justices of their "due process". Maybe Congress, with U.S. Supreme Court approval needs to be in charge of naming the IRS Director.

---

If Judas 00-bama really didn't know about the IRS purge, then shouldn't he now fire the woman he promoted from the IRS to ObamaCare?

---

It's so obvious where the Republicans and DUMBERats stand during all these hearings and investigations. The Republicans ask questions that America wants answers to; on the other hand, the DUMBERats seem to be "defense lawyers" trying to cover up what the Judas 00-bama appointees have done to undermine America's resolve and future.

---

Listening to resigned-but-still-serving IRS acting director Miller testify, he only seemed to have notes to refer to for questions asked by DUMBRRat Congresspersons. Guess it has been a selective shredding opportunity.

---

It's becoming obvious that the modus operandi of the Judas 00-bama administration is to do what you want, and ask for forgiveness if you get convicted.... but not until all appeals are exhausted.

---

While the IRS scandal focused is on 501 (c) 4 applications, the real question that needs to be asked is HOW "move on.com " was granted 501 (c) 3 status which makes every donation tax deductible. George Soros gave it $1.46 million, and that was deductible so "we" paid for a bunch of his political activism.

---

Stephen T. Miller says he resigned because things happened on his watch, and the buck stops with him. Excuse me, but was there any effort on his part to correct the aberrations? Of course, the real question to ask him was whether resigning 3 months earlier than he was planning has helped him keep his pension plan?

---

One DUMBERat Congressman actually used his 'question time' to try to convince the American people that the IRS would not be able to access their medical records when monitoring insurance. Yeah, right, then why was the IRS person in charge of of the abuses was shifted to monitor the ObamaCare IRS requirements.

---

From the "who'da thunk it" department Sometimes people's responses hit you out of the blue like a lightning bolt. Yesterday , Charlie Rangel did just that by blasting the IRS actions. Of course he did have a recent bout with IRS about his failure to report his island rental property income and for illegally occupying to many rent control properties in Harlem.

---

If the Cincinnati IRS division sent out questions/questionnaires without supervisory approval, it can only be because their supervisors instructed such action because someone above them had laid out the course of action.

---

Of all the IRS investigations of 501 (c) 4 applications, how did the www.barackobama.com get fast tracked to a 501 (c) 4 status as www.organizingforamerica.com?

---

Resigned-but-still-working IRS acting director Miller whined that the reason the Tea Party applications took so long to process was because that division gets 70,000 APS for 150 workers to process. That in mind, how did Judas 00-Obama's campaign website get converted to a 501 (c) 4 status in a week or so following the election, and his half-brother got one in 34 days?

---

Online headline/story: "Jay Carney: 'For Me Personally, It Has Been A Good Week' * "It is a privilege every day to stand here, and I wear the so-called burden lightly because I believe in what we're doing and I believe in what we're doing in this room," he said." -- Hmmm "I believe in what we're doing in this room"? But what exactly are they doing "in this room"... dispensing BS as fast as they can? Wonder if Carney believes in what's going on OUTSIDE that room? Oh, and I wonder if Carney believes he's going to be looking for another job soon?

---

Online headline: "McDonald's Store Owners Fear Fast Food Chain Becoming Too Slow" -- McDonald's has a lot more pressing issues than expanding the menu and upscaling its buildings. Somewhere in the mix, McDonald's has forgotten how to make a good hamburger.

---

Online headline/story: "FILA approves new rules to keep wrestling in games * MOSCOW (AP) - Wrestling's governing body has approved new rule and constitutional changes aimed at modernizing the sport and keeping it in the Olympics after 2016." -- Hmm... "modernizing the sport". How? Changing the format to coed shirts and skins? How about adding mud and Jell-o filled pits? Oh, but my favorite, Synchronized Tag Team competition!

---

I have questions most have subconsciously asked: How did OJ get so fat in prison? Hasn't Michelle straightened out the prison system menu?

---

Online headline: "New York Times Website Hacked" -- Ooops, my bad, thought the replacement acting director of the IRS had coordinated with Eric Holder to edit the NYT's weekend coverage of Judas 00-bama's three-ring circus.

---

Oh, and who cannot be intrigued by this HuffPost headline: "Photo: Looking Good! Chaz Bono Loses 65 Pounds" -- Wouldn't the world rather here that "Chaz Bono is lost"?

---

Oh, add "Hurricane Sandy Cleanup" to the screw ups the media has 'forgotten' about while Benghazi, IRS, and the AP are being focused on. Maybe this is why Jay Carney is happy with this week's events.

---

The Congressional Investigative Committee should have a witness organizational chart showing exactly who is responsible to whom.

---

There won't be any e-mail orders from Judas 00-bama about any of these scandals, but, has any committee asked for his Blackberry records? When he was elected, 00-bama made a big fuss about not giving it up as requested by the Secret Service to do so.All his text messages and phone records are out there in digi-world.

---

And now, for your visual enlightenment on the history of the umbrella in the presidential world:

Did you know that Marines are banned from using an umbrella themselves while in dress blues?

---

Hmmm, were the umbrellas the Marines were ordered to hold over Judas 00-bama and the visiting Turkey guy automatic, semi-automatic or manual?

---

Oh, and speaking of the misuse of our Marines by government... this is Nancy Pelosi's husband, Paul, being escorted down a runway at the First Lady's Luncheon in Washington in 2008:

---

Random thought: Do you suppose Dr. Jay, local chiropractor thinks people confuse him for Dr. J and that's why he's running this ad?

---

From a fellow BCer:

Never....never think that it couldn't get worse:

Hmmm.. of course it can get worse from here, too... Al Sharpton could throw the 'race card' about top billing.

---

Online headline/story: "Despite sequester, high-level federal executives slated to get bonuses * The report revealed that members of the government’s highly paid Senior Executive Service _ who make up less than 1 percent of the federal workforce _ had received more than $340 million in bonuses from 2008 through 2011. The bonuses came on top of annual salaries that ranged from $119,000 to $179,000." -- Samo-samo. Wonder if Stephen Miller will get his?

---

From the 'will wonders ever cease?' department - L-E story: " The president of the local National Association for the Advancement of Colored People chapter called Friday for an investigation into the Columbus Police Department’s handling of a black police officer who boasted of targeting “‘white folks” when writing tickets near Columbus State University. * “I am a little bit upset that the police department would keep a police officer on the force that expressed such racist views,” said NAACP President * Nate Sander-son . “We need answers. We need an investigation to see how much of this behavior the city has condoned and not brought to the forefront. *“They’ve really put the city in a quandary,” he said. “As an organization, we are concerned about racism as a practice and we have to call it out and stand up against it every time we see it.” -- Wow! It's about time the NAACP got to the 21st Century. Standing "O"! Let's pray that this is a tsunami of change in race relationships that have here before been stymied by throwing 'race cards' when meaningful conversation got started. Now, let's pray the NAACP will call for Marshal Countryman to resign! This is HISTORIC!

---

Another from the 'will wonders ever cease?' department - the L-E story: "The United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley announced Friday that it will fund 50 programs in the 2013-2014 fiscal year, pumping a total of $5 million into the community. * United Way President Scott Ferguson said the amount is nearly 3 percent more than last year’s investment." -- I think this is the first time a story has contained the actual total of distribution for a campaign raising $6.6 Million. The biggest chunk went into administrative costs or was not received from pledges people made to get community approval.

---

L-E headline: "CBO: Obama budget cuts deficits $1.1T by 2023 " -- Huh! Judas 00-bama

has added $7 TRILLION to our National Debt in his terms of office, and the CBO -s proud to guess that who ever is in the White House in the 7 years following 00-bama's departure will cut $1.1 Trillion of it? Hey , does that guess include Hillary or any other DUMBERat winning? If so, all CBO bets are OFF!

---

L-E's "Quotable": “The way through the world is more difficult to find than the way beyond it.” - Wallace Stevens American poet (1879-1955)" -- Hmm, obviously this is the "guiding light" of CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, and NPR.

---

The MCSD advertised the 5 year Tax Digest & M&O Levy History: Other than disclosing even homestead exemption houses are not exempt from increases or discounts or 'the freeze', the most startling figures were ones showing the dramatic increase on the value of mobile homes in the county, and the dramatic loss of value on Heavy Duty Equipment.

---

L-E Business Section headline: "Stocks rise on hopeful signs for economy " -- Obviously, no one on the stock exchanges read the headlines in yesterday's L-E.
