Online headline: "Obama 'Comfortable' With Teen Pill" -- That's
reassuring.... not! In fact, I cannot think of anything Judas 00-bama should be
"comfortable" in.
---
Hmmm,. read that singer Adele requires all people who 'score free tickets'
for her performance make a donation to a charity, no exceptions! HMMMM, that
would be a great addition to require for free tickets distributed by the
CivicCenter to Council, City employees and others.

I have a question... what will UMASSacre do with the dorm rooms used by the
Bomber Brother and his comrades? Will UMASSacre destroy them or make them
shrines for future for Muslim students?

Online headline/story: "Callaway Gardens cancels gun group's convention *
Jerry Henry says he was wearing his gun when he first met with Callaway Gardens
about the event back in January.
"We discussed it with them. We told them at that point in time that we would be carrying guns. There'd would be 300 or 400 people there carrying firearms. We wanted to make sure it'd be OK. We were told it'd be fine," Henry said. * Callaway Gardens issued a statement to FOX 5 explaining the mistake and apologizing saying, "Unfortunately, two team members did not properly convey our weapons policy, which like many other family-friendly destination, does not permit weapons on the premises."" -- Hmmm... The "GeorgiaCarry.Org" convention scheduled for August at Callaway Gardens has been canceled by Callaway Gardens. Seems Callaway has reneged on its commitment to host it. Interesting gun policy, too, as Callaway offers its Callaway Gun Club for sporting clays as a choice of recreation.

Online headline: "Elmo Puppeteer Kevin Clash Gets Emmy Nod Despite Sex
Scandal" -- What blatant arrogance! The TV industry deserves a "BIG BIRD" for
this.
---
This administration's only 'direction' is pointing its middle finger away
from itself. Eric Holder has joined the party, blaming Congress for the
miranda-ing of Bomber Brother #2 and his comrades.
---
L-E headline: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SUPERIOR
COURT * Jury convicts man despite
victim’s refusal to ID him" -- Now, let's complete the story, charge and try the
"victim" for perjury and obstruction of justice, and assign him to the same cell
as the shooter.
---
A "trying to make a
difference" L-E "soundoff": "I know someone
who flushes Rid-X down the toilet and is on the city sewer system. How worldly
is that? " -- Guess someone thinks the sewer lines are connected to the Council
Chambers.. at least wishfully thinking so.
---
Yesterday I learned that my across the street
neighbor had his car stolen out of his driveway about 3 weeks ago. Sure would
have liked a 'heads up' from the CPD at that time.
---
L-E story: "(Col. Jeffrey) Fletcher
has been reassigned with a deployment to the Middle East. A 1984 graduate of
Kendrick High School in Columbus, he
became the first black garrison commander at the post when he arrived in June
2011." -- You know, in this day and time, and in this man's Army, highlighting
someone color in relationship to an assignment is disrespectful of the
accomplishments that got the man his promotions and recognition. Only one
question needs to be asked, did Col. Fletcher think being the 'first black' was
as important as being 'the one' selected amd promoted for this
responsibility.
Me, I'll honor the man for what he's accomplished as
a man.

Online story: "A new effort from Republican lawmakers in the Ohio House of
Representatives would financially punish state universities for helping
out-of-state students vote in Ohio during their college years. * Under the
proposal, if a state university provided an out-of-state student with a letter
or utility bill to prove Ohio residency and thereby allow the student to vote
locally, the Columbus Dispatch reports, the school would then be forced to
charge the lower in-state tuition rate to that student." -- Amen! And that's the
way it should without new legislation.
---
Online story: "Like a person gasping for air when it's in short supply,
living trees make noises when they are running out of water, and a team of
French scientists is a step closer to pinpointing the noises." -- Hmmm, so my
grandmother was right when she said we should talk to our plants to help them
grow better, but even she didn't realize they were talking back.
---
4 UMASSacre students are involved in the Boston bombings and UMASS is
holding out on info that the law and public want....need.... now. UMASS is
citing federal regulations attached to federal grants. The grants need to stop
since the schools hide behind them.

I heard a rumor that the Jodi Arias trial has gone to closing arguments.
All those who care even a whit , give me a call.

Video showing riots in Seattle were quite revealing.... Why would Police
officers, especially those in crowd control be wearing Bermuda shorts? Maybe the
uniform designers were smoking something in Seattle before it was
legalized.
---
Question to pose to yourself and any politician you know in Washington...
and perhaps to your local media contacts: If you saw your friends' pictures
flashed on TV as bomb suspects, and if you were compelled to come to their aid
by getting rid of "evidence" left in their apartments, and you had no clue how
to build a bomb, would you grab a bottle of Vaseline and toss it out?

Just too funny... from a fellow BCer:
