From the "the sky is falling, the sky is falling" department - HuffPOOPOO headline: "Poll: 6 out of 10 Americans are at least a little fearful of a North Korea attack" -- Good grief... an AOL itself "poll".. The
"6 out of 10" broken down shows that only 19% were actually "very fearful". What we really have here is Trump Depression Disorder amongst liberals caused by lowered expectations of American power during the 8 years Obama was in office.

What a disappointment the Democrats must feel after Ossoff didn't win yesterday in the GA District 6 Special Election after pouring in over $12,000,000.00 (95% from out of state donations). Now there will be a runoff in June, and the Democrats have pretty much shot their wad as they're pretty much out of bullets.

---
You know, one of the revealings of the District 6 Special Election is that Ossoff doesn't even live in District 6 and could not vote in the election. How can a person run in a District he doesn't even live in.. could he have lived in another state as well?

---
You know, it's the Democrat Party on trial in the District 6 Special Election. Even if Ossoff wins, where will Democrats get $12,000,000.00 for the race in 2018 to get him relected?

For those seeking a treat, the "Lyrids" meteor showers are going on now through Sunday. Best show will be this Friday night.

---
From the "obviously learned Common Crap Math" department - HuffPOOPOO story: "A mile-wide asteroid is set to whiz by the Earth at an uncomfortably close proximity on April 19, according to a statement released by NASA. *  The roughly 2,000-foot asteroid is currently under observation by NASA's NEO Observations Program in collaboration with the University of Arizona, " -- "2,000-foot asteroid"? Dang, if a mile is but 2,000 feet, my Yukon XL is getting 40 MPG, not the 16 I calculated.

The animal that videoed the death of Robert Godwin, Steve Stephens is dead.. but I will not get over how the Police Chief of Cleveland kept referring to him simple as "Steve". That's something newspapers do when talking about teen/child victims in order to create more sympathy, but the Cleveland Police Chief should not have tried to "humanize" that animal..

---
L-E headline/story: "Q&A from Muscogee County School District forums on Camelot Education proposal  *
Students who are over age, lack credits, or who desire something different than a traditional school setting.
* Students enrolled in the EXCEL Academy are not identified by a grade level. Instead, they interact with appropriate age cohorts as they earn credits toward graduation." -- "students who are over age.... are not identified by grade level"? Good grief.. isn't this the same scenario as the Maryland school who put a 19 year old illegal in a freshman course and he raped a 14 year old girl in a school bathroom...

---
Online story: "The former Federal Election Commission chairwoman Ann M. Ravel says that political speech must be controlled on social media. She presented her remarks in a speech at UC Berkeley, calling for regulations against “fake news.”" -- One thing we know for sure is Ms. Ravel is not a conservative because she was allowed to speak on the Berkeley campus, Of course, she also served under Obama.

---
Have you noticed something about the protesters at Trump gatherings? They all wear masks/hoods... only now, Democrats wear black ones rather than the white ones they wore in their  KKK days.

---
Talk about disappointments.. needed a box of Nabisco Nilla Wafers in a hurry for a children's Bible Study project, and Target was the closest store. TARGET does not carry regular sized Nilla Wafers...minis, but not full sized. That's the last time I plan a shopping stop for a basic staple at Targets.

L-E headline/story: "Student’s sacrifice leads to surprise scholarship *  Genesis (Cooper) didn’t drop out of school after a series of health issues left her mother blind, with limited mobility and requiring continuous care. But, as an only child, she increasingly became one of her mother’s primary care givers and her special power of attorney. While her parents started divorce proceedings about a year ago, Genesis said, she stopped playing on the Columbus High basketball team to work at Bruster’s Ice Cream and help her mother more." --  The MCSD should simply pay young Genesis Cooper to debate any/all "problem cases" Dr. Lewis feels should be relegated to institutionalizing under Camelot management. Young Miss Cooper would show them there is an "alternative path" other than bad behavior and disruptiveness.

LIV's L-E "soundoff": "The “60 Minutes” investigation about public defenders teaches a lesson: Don't commit violent felonies if you can't afford a good lawyer, because you might get caught. But didn't everyone already know that?" -- You know.. that use to be the case.. but with liberalism so pervasive in our court system of today, criminals and Public/appointed Defenders fare better by putting up flawed defenses. Then, the case goes to the states' Supreme Courts where cases are overturned for "ineffective counsel" and thrown back into the lower courts, By this time, witness are dead or missing or have moved, and DAs are less likely to want to retry so plea bargains for minimal sentences (and generally lesser charges) are made and taken,... and the public pays through the nose.

From the "diversity? isn't that something only imposed on white managed organizations?" department - L-E headlines/stories: "Black Business Awards" ; "Black softball tourney this week to have major impact"* -- You know.. you will not see L-E headlines stating: "White Business Awrds" or "White softball tourney this week to have major impact"... and rightfully so.. so why aren't the ACTUAL headlines more like "Business Awards" and "Softball tourney this week to have major impact"? Last time I looked, I didn't see separate pockets in my wallet for light and dark money.

---
L-E headline: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT * MCSD backs off ‘radically’ changing custodians" -- You know, there have been several "stories" concerning the custodial changes in the works, yet not one of them.. including this one, has mention any of the Custodial Companies names.. nor association with any board members/candidates. Before anymore stories/discussions are made, the Public has a need.. no, more of a right, to know the politics behind all the postulations..

---
L-E headline: "Trump, Republicans face test in Georgia congressional race" -- Hmmm... it looks more like the Democratic Party failed the test! After spending over $12,000,000.00 (95+ percent out-of-state money) trying to buy the election for Jon Ossoff (about $130.00 spent per vote Ossoff got), there will still be a runoff, and Ossoff will not be the favorite ..

I love the fact that W C Bradley has dressed up its corporate offices at its distibution center, but I'd rather read that W C Bradley was returning the manufacturing process back to Columbus from China. Oh, BTW, you can buy a great grill made in Columbus, GA.. it's the Golden Foundry cast iron grill that will last a family legacy.

---
From the "oxymoronic headlines" department - L-E headline: "Official says public housing is safe despite shootings" -- "safe"? Well maybe by Southside  Chicago standards, but....

---
L-E story: ""THE GOVERNMENT CAN PUT TOGETHER A BILLION-DOLLAR COMPANY IN THREE WEEKS. -* Dave Aitel, former NSA scientist" -- "3 weeks"?  I can put one together that will be more efficient than the government's efforts in just 1 day! Poof! I'm a $3 Billion dollar company!
