From the "rotten egg" department - Online story: "As Easter approaches, children in the UK are looking forward to the annual Cadbury Egg Hunt, which will take place at around 300 National Trust properties. *The year the festivities have been hit by a religious controversy led by the Church of England and the Archbishop of York. * The chocolate giant has been accused of "airbrushing faith" from the annual event after dropping the word Easter. According to the Telegraph, the hunt was previously called an "Easter Egg Trail" but this year it has been renamed the "Great British Egg Hunt". -- Cadbury has dropped "Easter" from its Easter Egg merchandise? Excuse me, but for EASTER, why would "eggs" be relevant? I'm afraid Cadbury has LAID a big one this year.

Online story: " For the first time ever, a U.S. appeals court on Tuesday ruled that federal civilrights law protects lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees from discrimination in the workplace." -- Hmmm.. and does this also cover heterosexuals rights in the workplace as well? How about LGBTQ rights in Muslim mosques.. for that matter, does the ruling apply to Christians in Muslim mosques?

---
Online headline: "The new GOP Obamacare replacement could have a fatal flaw" -- Hmmm.. as compared to OObamaCRAP?

---
HuffPOOPOO rant: "Report: Trump changed his trust to take out money whenever he wants *  According to (ProPublica) , the trust was amended on February 10 to include a clause which reads, "The Trustees shall distribute net income or principal to Donald J. Trump at his request, as the Trustees deem necessary for his maintenance, support or uninsured medical expenses, or as the Trustees otherwise deem appropriate." *  With this change, ProPublica says that "Trump can draw money from his more than 400 businesses, at any time, without disclosing it." -- "without disclosing it"?  These "journalists" are idiots! If money is requested and distributed, it is REPORTABLE INCOME for tax purposes..

Online headline: "New sheriff in Arizona to close controversial 'Tent City' jail" -- Look like the libs couldn't close Gitmo so they settled for Tent City... I still don't get how moving prisoners back into brick-n-mortar facilities will "save money", but I guess it follows the lib concept that it just hasn't had the right people running it.. Sorta like America saving money under Obama.. what's the National Debt decline after his 8 years?

---
From the "let's see how libs and mainscream media duck this" department - Online headline/story: "Payless has filed for bankruptcy and will immediately close 400 stores * The discount shoe chain has filed for Chapter 11 protection on less than $1 billion in assets and $10 billion in liabilities *  Payless has been in talks with its lenders for months over a restructuring plan that at one point included closing as many as 1,000 stores, or a quarter of the company's locations. * Additional store closures are likely. *  Payless has 4,400 stores in 30 countries and employs nearly 22,000 people. * It was bought in 2012 by private equity firms Golden Gate Capital and Blum Capital partners." -- "Blum Capital partners"? Hmmm.. that's Richard C. Blum.. you know, Sen. Diane Feinstein's HUSBAND,, you know, the guy that was given the exclusive real estate deal to sell off surplus/abandoned US Post Office properties...

---
Online headline: "Ralph Lauren to cut jobs, close flagship Fifth Avenue Polo store" -- Hmmm.. you know.. you have to wonder if this was caused by Hellary wearing his outfits...

---
Instant repeat - Online headline/story: "Online headline: "Ralph Lauren to cut jobs, close flagship Fifth Avenue Polo store" * Ralph Lauren Corp said on Tuesday it would cut jobs and shut its flagship Polo store on Fifth Avenue in New York City, among other office and store locations, as part of a cost-cutting plan. * The luxury retailer also said its e-commerce business would move to Salesforce.com Inc's cheaper and more efficient Commerce Cloud platform." -- Hmmm... moving to I-net sales.. Hey, John Pezold.. see who you've protected from having to charge customers sales taxes?

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Report: Democrats hoping liberal veterans will help win seats in 2018 elections" -- Good grief.. after ignoring veterans since the 1970s, now Democrats want veterans to look at PTSD as "Promote the Sorry Democrats"

---
HuffPOOPOO "headlie"/story: "Poll: Majority feels Devin Nunes should recuse himself from the Russia investigation" * A new AOL News poll finds that nearly two-thirds of people surveyed think the congressman should recuse himself from the official investigation -- Good grief.. HuffPOOPOO couldn't even get 100% of its office staff to agree on nits poll! Now.. did any one who reads this via e-mail, Face Book, or the blogsite get a call for your opinion?

---
From the "how can we twist the story" department - Online headline: "President Trump rolls back workplace protections for women" -- You know, if women want equality in the workplace, then women have to accept... no, DEMAND equality in the workplace, and that means they cannot attain such if they allow government to intervene on women's behalf.

Online story: "No state’s school system is rated worse than Nevada’s. The state’s high school graduation rate declined by nearly 12 percentage points over the decade through 2012. This was the largest decline of all states, the vast majority of which reported graduation rate increases. Just 71.3% of seniors graduate high school, lower than in all states except for New Mexico." -- Hmm.. obviously, Nevada hasn't learned, like the MCSD has, that you can vastly improve graduation rates if you eliminate the Graduation test, keep drop outs in alternate schools until they are old enough to be given a social diploma,  or give out retro diplomas to those who failed Graduation tests in the past.. Hey.. wasn't Harry Reid Nevada's Senator for more than 25 years?

Wanna know why our medical/insurance costs are so high? Start by checking on those TV medicine ads.. That mellow one advocating Humira for Chrohn's is a doozy...Who doesn't have occasional irritated gastro-intestinal discomfort, and would enjoy having a "title" for it to discuss it among friends. Now, with all that soothing talk about Humira, the ad overlooks one of the pertinent facts..sure you may have an insurance policy where Humira is covered, and you only have a small co-pay responsibility, but..a starter pack of two Humira dosage pens runs about $14,000.00.

Democrat spinmeisters are out trying to divert attention from Susan Rice. One such said he wasn't going to insult out intelligence discussing it..Wait a minute..I don't know of any liberal reporter or spinmeister who has the intelligence to get in a discussion ON intelligence with an informed voter.

---
Wait a minute! Publisher's Clearing House says I have to make a purchase to validate special numbers that make me eligible to win special prizes in addition to the "$7,000 a week for life contest"..Since when is making a purchase a requirement for entering/winning a magazine "contest"?

You know, if mainscream media types were as abundant in 1942, as they are today, and if the Japanese soldiers illegally entered California, California officials would probably not have detained captured Japanese soldiers for Federal military police to question .

---
The discussion in the MCSB about Camelot should be focused on one thing.. do we want any children.. especially K-4 aged ones, removed from classes and, basically,  "herded into a Camel Lot" . You know.. where this can .. and it's probably has been discussed in the inner administrative circles, is that during evaluation test periods, all the children who are expected not to do well on them vcan end up in a "Camel Lot" during the testing period...and not be included in the results.

Online story: "North Carolina scored a big victory last night -- and not just on the court! It looks like the NCAA is finally starting to address the question that the organization's president, Mark Emmert, raised in the Final Four press conference last week: "What's the appropriate role for a national athletic association in public policy issues?" By accepting the legislature's small changes to HB 2, the organization has indicated that it's either decided to stick to sports or it's beginning to ignore the small but rowdy agitators on the Left who've used the NCAA to fight their losing political battle over the state's public safety bill." -- This is not about results.. it's about the NCAA trying to financially bribe a government entity, and that entity accepting that bribe. The DOJ should hammer the NCAA and NC's Legislature!

---
L-E headline: "Columbus NAACP opposes controversial alternative education plan" -- As Fred Sanford might exclaim, "It;s the big one, Elizabeth, I'm coming to see you"! I do believe that this is the first time .. at least in a long time, that the local NAACP is joining in support for a total community need/issue.. Let's hope.. pray.. that this is a new beginning that will turn our community around and "Make It Great Again".

---
L-E headline: "After more than two years and $2 million, city’s legal battle almost over" -- Oooops, my bad.. thought we were about to hear that Mayor Tom-LYING-son was resigning, and wasted money was being reimbursed...

---
L-E headline: "COMMENTARY * Watch out for Henley in Masters this week * BY DANIEL SHIRLEY dshirley@macon.com *    Finally.. an article about Columbus-connected Russell Henley.. though Henley's Columbus-connection was not part of the article.. sad...and of course it took a Macon writer to do this..

Speaking of the Master's, Columus resident and Columbus State University golf coach, and brother of Masters' champion Trevor, Mike Immelman will be broadcasting for CBS weeks Masters Golf tournament!

--
You know, as the CB&T signs disappear, and are replaced by "Synovus", that CB&T campaign of "Bank of HERE" will become "Synovus.. Bank of WHERE?"

---
Why are liberals upset at the manufacturers that are submitting designs for the southern border wall? Do they feel they won't be able to keep their promises to leave?

---
While the day is certainly not over.. it looks like "weather" in Columbus is going to be another non-event... Instead of the golf ball sized hail the MCSD/MCSB was expecting. it looks like both entities can expect another kind of "hell storm".. inconvenienced and put out parents who had to find ways.. and extra money.. to tend to their children's needs.

---
Le's face it.. Susan Rice should VOLUNTEER to tesitify, under oath, and attached to a lie-detectorm at the House and Senate investigations!

L-E commentary headlie: "EDITORIAL * Public money down a rathole * BY DUSTY NIX dnix@ledger-enquirer.com " -- Hmm.. I'm tough on lawyers, but Dusty is downright nasty talking about lawyers who got this money...
