protects the actual work individuals do on their own time. initiative, and

first.. did we just read the L-E actually said it "investigated" something on
its own.. "pinch me!" I must be dreaming....Somehow, Columbus Taxpayers are
getting screwed in this manner.. If "we" are the regional center, and there are
beds "open" our county should get priorities fore those beds. From an economic
perspective.. wouldn't it be more economical for other counties (which are
OBVIOUSLY closer to other area youth detention facilities than Muscogee County)
to send their juvies to the centers that our deputies have to transport our to
because beds are reserved for other counties that aren't actually using/needing
them ?

On another issue.. did the MCSD actually realize that the
RYDC was named for Judge Cohn when it named a middle school in his honor? You
know, I do not think Judge Cohn would have been amused, much less feel honored,
if the public was confused about the values of a young person saying he/she
attended an Aaron Cohn designated facility, then find out it was the RYDC and
not the middle school.

database, the owner has a Brooklyn, NY address, and get this.. pays ZERO... NADA
.. in local property taxes.

personal car.

easy access to a polling place." -- Wait a minute,, no Founding Father ever made
the claim that "voting would be easy".. people had to travel by foot,
carriage/wagon.. or by horseback to get to, usually, one central district
polling place on a particular day. If people want their vote to count, then they
