HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "President Trump reportedly hiring more officials from the George W. Bush administration * The media outlet points out that the White House issued a press release last week announcing Trump's intention to nominate four key staff members—two of whom worked for Bush. * Despite the potential benefits of bringing on experienced government staffers, Politico points out that the move may not sit well with supporters of Trump's "drain the swamp" approach" -- Good grief.. "drain the swamp" is about recent Obama administration picks and Democrats and RINOs pols that have forgotten who they serve.

Hey..NAACP, hey Jesse Jackson, hey, Al Sharlatan, hey, Black Lives Matter, hey Diane "we must make a new gun law" Feinstein.....Where is the indignation...where is the anger, the "we're not going to take it any more" about the black man who indiscriminately gunned down an elderly black man, Robert Godwin, in Cleveland as he broadcast his disregard for life over a live FaceBook app. I know you won't get guilt compensation since you cannot blame this on racism, but is this man's actions beyond your humanity for compassion? Rest in peace, Robert Godwin. Peace be with his family...

Online headline/story: "Majority of Americans think marijuana is 'socially acceptable,' poll shows * The poll, conducted in March by Marist in partnership with Yahoo News, surveyed 1,122 U.S. adults and found that 56% said using marijuana was socially acceptable" -- Good grief.. a poll conducted by a bunch of ADMITTED  "Yahoos" is not "gospel", nor a poll of 1122, whether random or selected, whether dealing with "recreational" or "medical only"  thoughts, reflect a national movement.

How has this country, especially the court system,  come to believe a jury's death sentence is to be carried out by natural causes?

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Chelsea Clinton defends the Secret Service costs of keeping President Trump's family safe" -- Yeah.. Chelsea's worried about all those foreign despots wanting those massive sums of money donated  to the Clinton Foundations being returned after Hellary failed to come through in November.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "North Korea announces plans to conduct 'weekly' missile tests, warns of 'all out war'" -- Seriously, do you think Kim Jong Oooops realizes that his rants are broadcast worldwide?

---
You know, even mainscream media has picked up on the message Trump sends to Kim Jong Oooops when he sends missiles to remind ASSwad of his promises about using chemicals, and MOAB to destroy ISIS filled underground facilities, but you better believe Iran is getting the messages, too, as they try to build their own nuclear weapon

Online headline/story: "KFC is spending $80 million in an effort to kill a key part of McDonald's and Burger King's business * The chicken chain is rolling out the Zinger Sandwich at all locations on April 24 as a limited-time offering for 14 weeks. The spicy sandwich is made with chicken breast fillet, and served with mayo and lettuce on a toasted bun. *  "The burger boys sell over 2 billion of these fried chicken sandwiches a year," Kevin Hochman, KFC's president, said of the company's competitors in an interview with Business Insider on Monday." -- Excuse me, but how can KFC campaign against "competitors, yet not mention Chick-fil-A?

---
Online headline: "Gorsuch breaks mold, asks numerous questions in Supreme Court debut" -- Well, he didn't ask the one he should have,, "Justice Ginsburg, shouldn't stating your fixed position on abortions disqualify you from future discussions/votes?".

---
From the "why would you make suggestions to improve the enemy's weaponry" department - Online headline/story: "Photos of Iran's new Qaher F-313 fighter jet prototype emerges * The F-313 was first unveiled in February 2013, though it was criticized for being too small. The cockpit couldn't accommodate a "normal-sized" pilot and the wings weren't big enough to get it up in the air, according to The Aviationist.  * The original version also had a slew of technical errors. The engine was not properly built, putting the back of the aircraft at risk of melting from heat. The craft's air intakes seemed too small, the blog said. " -- Thank God, Obama is gone, and Trump is reversing Obama's policies. You know, if your opponent is doing something wrong, why correct him?

---
Online headline: "Hillary Clinton apologized to Obama on election night" -- Well, that was at least a start.. now she needs to apologize to America (especially to American moms who were asked to use Hellary as a role model for their daughters), and the world..

---
California just woke up... woke up when it realized that the early prison release program has actually increased the crime rates..Hey, don't we have a fairly new program that does this? Are we going to wait until new figures confirm California's findings?

---
Did you see the list of cars that are made with at least 75% parts made in either the US or Canada..All were foreign labels except for the Chevy Tahoe and Buick Arcadia and their fraternal GM  twins. I think the parts made in Canada are foreign, too.

Online story: "Just days before today’s election, polling equipment containing information on every voter in Georgia was stolen out of a poll manager’s parked truck. * On Saturday, two cases containing four ExpressPoll machines were snatched out of a Ford F-150 parked at the Kroger at New Chastain Corners Shopping Center of Canton Road in Marietta. ExpressPoll machines are the devices into which you put your ID after you walk into your polling place to prove you are eligible to vote. * Cobb County Elections Director Janine Eveler said the machines hold a list of names and addresses of every voter in Georgia. Deeper within the system are driver’s license numbers to go with the names, but it is not clear whether thieves would be able to access this information. Eveler said the machines do not contain social security numbers." -- Wait a minute.. there's a Special Election in District 6 to replace Tom Price as he stepped down after being tapped for a Cabinet job by Trump.. Why would any information other than concerning District 6 voters be in those devices?

---
Is there any more information an informed voter in GA District 6 needs to know other than Democrat Jon Ossoff mentored under GA District 4 Congressman Hank Johnson.. the guy that believes Guam would tip over if too much military equipment was stored on the US military base there?

---
Was reading an article about the Best 50 public high schools in GA. Was proud, but not surprised,  to see that Columbus High was ranked 2nd in the state, but was even more pleasantly surprised at some facts about CHS's student body..Of the 1,292 students, 60 percent are young women, and 82% of all students are minorities.. Now, since 82% are minorities, why aren't the overall minority children's test scores higher in the elementary/middle school "feeding system"?

Online headline: "NBC Sports Announcer GOES OFF: Calls US Flag and Air Force Flyover “Political” Stunt that Should Be “Kept Out of Sports” * Lead baseball writer for NBC Sports, Craig Calcaterra, tweeted out this attack on the US flag on Easter morning." -- Hmmm.. guess this (_*_) is for eliminating all expressions of patriotism for all countries competing in the Olympics as well.

---
From the "wasn't this expected and obvious" department: "Online headline: "Opponents urge governor to veto guns on Georgia college campuses " -- The mainscream media's inability to process logic still amazes me..

Macon Telegraph headline/story: "$280 million SPLOST timetable gains traction * The Macon-Bibb County Commission appeared to reach a consensus Thursday on a timeline and budget for the $280 million special tax referendum funds. * The documents list the amount of funding each project could receive from 2017-2028. Although with this new SPLOST, collections will continue until the maximum amount is reached. The 2018 SPLOST is $90 million more than the current voter-approved tax." -- "collections will continue until the maximum amount is reached"? -- Wait a minute.. who changed the rules! It's always been my understanding that local SPLOST referendums contained a 5-year maximum window for revenue collecting.. and it's right that such cap is maintained. In fact, no new SPLOST should ever be for an amount that exceeds any previous collect of 1% of sales over the 5 year period.

L-E story: "Club Majestic, the site of a fatal Columbus shooting, is now being demolished. The city began Monday afternoon demolition of the building at 2200 Cusseta Road after a brief 2 p.m. ceremony." -- Why wasn't the building torn down by the previous owner as a condition of the sale? Council and the Mayor paid way too much for the property to begin with.
