Has anyone checked into whether abutting counties to Muscogee County GA have looked into the constitutionality of the MCSD SPLOST tax on their citizens.. The LOST taxes are surely valid as out-of-county shoppers benefit from Columbus services, but how can the MCSD say the same thing? I do believe other counties would have a claim that the 1% School SPLOST should not be paid by their citizens as they have their own school systems to support.
