From the "let's see if we can squeak the details by them" department - Online headline... story: "US top court tosses one of two travel ban challenges" -- It use to be said that "the devils lies in the details".. In mainscream media talk, "details" means the headlines and content of a story. In reality, the US Supreme Court backed Trump in one, and didn't address the other..Of course, you had to read way down the story to find these "details":
"The justices were UNANIMOUS in deciding against ruling in the Maryland case" and "For now, the court did not act on a separate challenge brought by the state of Hawaii".

Spectrum advertises that other cable companies who don't keep their promises are "EVIL". Well, Spectrum/Charter is "EVIL" , TOO!



Switched to Charter/Spectrum in January with their promise of 3 years for a set monthly price.. Well, in March, Spectrum took away The Golf Channel from my package and wanted me to pay $12.00 a month more to get it back. Now, my new bill is up $6.08 a month more than the agreed to 3 year guaranteed price. Spectrum is "EVIL"!



Since I "locked in" to Spectrum "3-year, no contract guarantee", I've had a station I wanted removed (and $12.00 month extra to return it), my "box rentals have increased $1.00 each (times 4), the "franchise fee" has gone up $0.30, the ubiquitous "other Charges" has gone up $1.45, and my "sales taxes" have gone up $0.32. Spectrum is EVIL!

There is another very disturbing detail about the Las Vegas massacre.. The first was the unidentified "charger" plugged in..(I've seen one story about a possibility, but I want to see confirming ones), but hearing there were over 200 bullet holes in the walls of the hallway outside the shooter(s)'s rooms that occurred 6 or 7 minutes before shooting at the concert crowd began really bothers me.. How did this not get responded to in a fast way? Surely there were others in room on that floor and above and below that heard these.. I just cannot imagine anyone hearing 200 shots fired would not know there was danger, and that it was not firecrackers.

From the "I really didn't see THIS coming" department - Online story: "Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed vetoed legislation that would have changed penalties on possession of small amounts of marijuana. * “We received an email overnight that the Mayor VETOED our marijuana legislation for less than one ounce,” the Atlanta City Council said early Wednesday in a tweet." -- I didn't see this coming, and I did not know that Aytlanta Mayors had "veto power" over Council issues.. of course, since Council was approved it overwhelmingly (unanimous, I think), V+Council will probably override the Veto.
