From the "there was a time" department - The latest Forbes' "400" list is out... the most apparent thing is that being a billionaire no longer gets you on "the list". This year, it takes being worth 2 Billion to get into the last place on the list.

From the "I'll bet "corporate didn't completely think this idea through" department - Online headline.story: "McDonald's introduces phone lockers to get people to put their mobiles away * McDonald's has introduced mobile phone lockers, in a bid to get customers to put their phones away, and start talking to each other again. " -- My prediction is sales will start plummeting within a month... if people eating at McDonald's don't have their phones in their hands, they'll start talking and thinking alright... talking and thinking about the food they are eating compared to what it use to taste like, and will not come back.

I can't believe that news anchors who want to appear informed and smart are sitting around discussing President Trump having an Obama like "beer summit" with KaeperPRICK. Obama was trying to cover his wrongful and racist comment about the white Boston police officer. Trump is right..KaeperPRICK just needs to apologize to police and military personnel.

From the "where's the pea" thimble game department - Where does Ann Hardman? Her Campaign disclose form filed in June of this year lists her address at parcel ID 167-004-001. The tax data base lists that home as belonging to Richard & Kimberly Cantrell and has a H1 exemption.. now it gets weird.. The Cantrells contact address is listed at parcel 080-006-018-13 yet the owner there is one Jonathan Samuel Kirkland.. and it gets weirder .. Jonathan Samuel Kirkland lists his contact address at parcel 167-004-021 which is owned by Ronald E. and Jo Ann Kirkland who list a Tennessee city address as their contact address. How has Ann Hardman's address been given a H1 exemption and how long has this "where's the pea" ownership game been going on?

L-E headline/story: "Myers and Lewis debate status of Columbus High project * One issue at last week’s Muscogee County School Board meeting was the lack of a covered area where students can wait for their bus at Columbus High School. Frank Myers, the District 8 representative, wants that problem solved, and he had this exchange with superintendent David Lewis during the meeting. * . Bottom line is, it does not meet code. … It’s not just a matter of throwing down some concrete and covering it with some aluminum.” -- Hmmm.. The real question is why isn't getting a covered area to wait for a bus as simple as " a matter of throwing down some concrete and covering it with some aluminum.” .....While we're discussing wasteful spending .. why does a 60' X 40' metal building on concrete slab cost taxpayers $750,000.00 ($312.00 a sq ft) when building sites estimate that such can be built (with sprinkler systems) for less than $60,000.00?

L-E headline/story: "COLUMBUS * Police using more detailed information in 3rd sting targeting distracted drivers * In Georgia, it is not illegal to talk on a cell phone, but it is against the law to text and drive or manipulate the phone to check social media accounts or send and check emails. That law applies when a motorist is stopped at a red light, Dent said. * “We are not just getting folks who pick up the phone and swipe it one time,” said Sgt. Fred Carnes." -- "not getting folks who pick up the phone and swipe it one time"? ...Nor should they, but they do.. then holding one's phone while driving is not a"a crime"...have a pending case of that at the moment..

How do you find solace when an energetic, .. a prolific young man passes away in his sleep.. at age 25.. We do find solace in the moments when friends and family join in to support his parents and siblings.. Young Asa Swift, Jr. was also my family.. his paternal great-grandmother was a sister (one of 5) of my grandfather Kirven .. and his Columbus roots ran deep. We share in his death what stood for so proudly when he was among us.

L-E headline: "Sessions defends Comey firing, ties it to Clinton email case" -- Sessions defends Comey's firing? Sessions ought to be ordering Comey's arrest for perjury.. there's no way he did not know about the 30 Lynch-Clinton airplane meeting documents that have been discovered hidden in another case file.

L-E Quote: "TO SIN BY SILENCE, WHEN WE SHOULD PROTEST, MAKES COWARDS OUT OF MEN.

Ella Wheeler Wilcox, American author (1850-1919)" -- Trump is definitely a hero!
