When she ran for re-election, Mayor Tom-LYING-son did so promising a roundabout being built at the intersection of River Road/Bradley Park Drive/Cascade Road and Green Island Drive. She said construction would start in June/July, soon after the election, in 2014.. Three years and 3 months have passed, and she barely talks about it now. Plans have been presented, but public scrutiny reveals the obvious flaws you would "feel" the road experts would have seen, and to-date, money has been spent acquiring rights-of-way, and hammering in flagged stakes.. It's time for her to "put up or shut down" her... and before she leaves office.. All the money spent so far appears wasted, and construction estimates last spewed in Feb of 2016, $2,700,000.00 ($1.5 Million of state tax dollars, and $1.2 Million of local tax dollars) can hardly be expected to cover the final costs. Queen TT... obviously, based on past and current state road local project delays, you cannot get this done before you leave office in 14 months, so just "call it off" and put the money not spent to better use repairing the other streets of Columbus.

You know, if the FBI had admitted from the gitgo that there were documents on the Lynch-Clinton Airplane meeting, but they had been misplaced, the FBI would still have some credibility as a neutral, fact processing body FOR the American people.. Revealing their discovery tucked away in another case file after denying their existence is the another element of taint to the Obama legacy.

The family of the Border Patrol agent who connected the "fast and furious" gun running scheme of the Obama/Holder DOJ to guns used by Mexican drug cartels, and got killed in a conflict confrontation, just expressed happiness in the arrest of the last of 7 Mexicans involved in the shoot out where our Border Agent was killed. How can his family be relieved when Holder is not in jail?

I remember when it became legal for attorneys to advertise their services like other small businesses. It's simply deteriorated to the point that most legal ads have become pandering rather than informative.. Hey ,ABA, take these ambulance chasers and pot-stirrers off the air!

Online headline: "Jane Fonda says she's not proud of America" -- ROFLMAO! One traitorous woman tells us she's not proud of America,, what next, she'll tell us she's PROUD of herself? Will some one tell her that there's not one patriotic American who's proud of her even having American citizenship!

On Monday, I got a "dun" for $9.95 from the L-E for an over due/unpaid home delivery subscription. About 10 days ago, I received a phone call from the same "collection" service about the same account. After talking to that person about the fact I haven't had a home delivery subscription since the L-E became available "online", she then saw that I did have a online subscription and it was noted that my subscription was paid annually, and paid up through September 6th, 2018. Any way, I scanned the new "dun" and sent a copy to Rodney Mahone, relaying my disapproval of his management, but willing to forget it if he "handled it" speedily internally. Shortly after that, I got an accommodating call from the L-E subscription department head telling me it was all taken care of..then she went on to say that the problem is because the L-E has "outsourced " its subscription billing to a 3rd Party..I laughed..and thought the L-E could be working with Tyler Technologies...the same firm Mayor Tom-LYING-son hired to handle our tax bills.

From the "ultimate in-your-face disdain by illegal aliens/refugees" department - Online headline/story: "MS-13 cohorts plead guilty in vicious revenge killing of 15-year-old Virginia girl * Three MS-13 affiliates pleaded guilty Tuesday to their roles in the savage death of a teenage Virginia girl in what prosecutors say was a gangland-style revenge killing. * Reyes Rivas’ killing was uncovered when investigators found the videos of her killing while looking into Sosa Rivas’ death. * As part of a deal with prosecutors, (the three) pleaded guilty to a host of charges that included abduction and in two instances, gang participation. The three will be key witnesses in the trials of three other gang members charged with directly killing 15-year-old Damaris A. Reyes Rivas." -- You know.. "the three"probably have been promised some kind of immunity to testify, but we all know, what the three say in courts will do no such thing because "the three" will be dead as soon as they are released on the street or sent to prison if any of the others are actually convicted. What we will end up with is a gang of MS-13ers not being "convicted" so they will not be jailed or deported.

From the "like peas in a pod" department - Online headline/story: "Harvey Weinstein helped pay Bill Clinton's legal bills during Monica era, Washington Post archive reveals * A recently uncovered 1998 story in The Washington Post lists the powerful producer – now accused of sexual harassment and assault by numerous women – among several Hollywood heavyweights who gave the maximum $10,000 to Clinton’s legal defense fund." -- Good grief.. with Hollywood elites jumping into the Slick Willie defense fund, no wonder movie women were afraid to step forward and talk about the own assault issues..the women must have felt they had to "take one for the team". I'm even more upset at how many California women still voted for Hellary knowing this.

From the "maybe auto-driving Teslas should be required for all" department - Online story: "In a new ruling, the Supreme Court of Georgia clarified the rights drivers suspected of DUI have when it comes to interaction with law enforcement officers and the implied consent law. * The court made it clear that the state's constitution does not give law enforcement officers the ability to compel drivers suspected of driving under the influence to take a breath test by blowing into a breathalyzer. * It brings to question whether or not a defendant's refusal of a breath test can be submitted as evidence in their trial. As it stands, prosecutors can submit a defendants' refusal of the test. This new ruling changes that." -- You know.. I am a protector of individual rights being guaranteed, but taking away a common sense "tool" just doesn't make any kind sense. Citizens have always been able to request a hospital blood test instead (or even in conjunction with) for more accurate readings. All I can think is that if the Supreme Court will rule on this, why doesn't the Supreme Court f=go ahead and throw out all "distracted driving" charges based only on police officers observance. If police officers cannot compel drivers to submit to tests when they have been observed driving erratically/impaired, and when stopped, the smell of alcohol is openly apparent, then why should courts allow he said/she said arguments concerning cell phone use?

From the "we need more judges with at least minors in Business degrees" department- Online story: "The Georgia Supreme Court upheld the state's Certificate of Need (CON) law Monday, ruling against a challenge to the health-care regulation filed by the owners of a women's surgical center. * co-owners of The Georgia Advanced Surgery Center for Women in Cartersville, Ga., were denied a CON several years ago when they sought to add a second operating room to the facility. They responded with a lawsuit charging the CON statute is an unconstitutional violation of the anti-monopoly provisions in Georgia's Constitution. * But in a unanimous ruling, the state Supreme Court declared the requirements of CON do not encourage monopolies in the health-care industry." -- Good grief.. healthcare costs are sky-rocketing and the court just lit the fuse to send them higher! Competition is what keeps costs inline.. whether it be your groceries, gasoline, of your healthcare needs, and the GA Supreme Court just shut the door on hospitals competing. The arguments that too many" "beds or surgery rooms" will create less concern for patient safety in procedures is pure bunk! America THRIVES when businesses compete for best services at the best prices in every other retail market, and the same will happen in healthcare if the courts will allow it.

Repeatable Thought: You know, when a person is elected to a National Office, he/she swears an oath to our country and Constitution..not the Political Party he.she affiliates with.. I remember 1994 when my women's-rights advocate sister was living in Boston and I asked her how she could support/vote for Ted Kennedy.. she said, "he gets us things". In 1996, when the Republican regained control of the Senate, I asked her if she felt the same way about Kennedy since now he won't be able "to get you crap".. She stomped off furious...

L-E headline: "Supreme Court ruling keeps Spring Harbor legal battle over property taxes alive" -- And lawyers throughout the area rejoice! How about the L-E printing the amount of legal fees already paid to inside and outside legal counsel by the Mayor using tax dollars.

Online headline/story: "Georgia cities limiting cooperation with ICE amid Trump’s crackdown * Civil rights activists are pushing communities across the nation to limit their cooperation with federal deportation officers. * Since May, three Georgia cities — Atlanta, Clarkston and Decatur — have adopted measures in favor of restricting their interactions with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement." -- "Civil rights activists are pushing communities across the nation to limit their cooperation with federal deportation officers"? "Civil rights ACTIVISTS"? How about Constitutional rights terrorists!

Kabam! The DOW Jones index hit 23,000 for the first ever yesterday..no wonder Socialists/Democrats fear Trump's effect on America being Great Again..
---
Forbes just released its "400 Richest Americans" list.. my sense of patriotism is infuriated that George Soros is 20the on the list at $23 BILLION, but I am encouraged that during this period of Trump inspired growth, Soros is down $1.9 BILLION over the last year

Things, they have a-changed. When my children were younger, and something triggered the "That's not fair" response, I use to tell them that "the Fair came in October.. Today I read that the local fair is not coming until November.

An online story announced that the GA Lottery just eclipsed the $19 BILLION dollar level of finds raised for education in GA since its creation 25 years ago.. Overall, that's an average of $760,000,000.00 annually. Considering it was created to support state college tuition, it really shows how little even good money thrown at an education problem doesn't help that much.. Yesterday, we read of the excitement CSU has for getting a grant for another $600K a year that will not help the existing failures.

L-E story: "Police are arresting large numbers of Chinese nationals in raids on illegal marijuana operations in California, Colorado and other states, raising questions about who is financing these grow houses and recruiting the immigrants to tend them." -- You know, I'd first check names on the donor lists of the Clintons' Foundations and Campaign lists.
