If Paunchy-Tummy Tim saw his shadow on Tuesday but not on Wednesday (or vice-versa), will his next column be any better?

Watching the 'Molotov Cocktail" being thrown down at the Mubarak protestors didn't make sense. Both CNN and Fox News labeled the 'bombers' as Mubarak supporters, probably hired. I didn't see how this action would help Mubarak's position, and I wonder if maybe the 'bombers' were part of the Muslim Brotherhood wanting to stir things up faster...

The "article" about Bullard & Dodelin crayoned by Dimon Kendrick-Holmes yesterday would have been better suited for The National Enquirer gossip tabloid than the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer. Comments about the mothers, divorced wives and tattoo of a person's name are, at best, an invasion of those person's privacy. Maybe the L-E should terminate one more. Even better, someone should turn that article in to the Pulitzer Prize Committee so it could consider revoking any prizes awarded the L-E in the past. Better yet, send a copy to every journalism school in the country to make sure he doesn't get a teaching job later on!

Online story: "over the past decade, skepticism has grown concerning the social value of these processes and the subsidies necessary to keep them commercially viable. In 2004m Ted Patzek, a geoengineering then atprofessor at UC-Berkeley gave an academic voice to the skepticism. Patzeks paper estimated that the cumulative energy used to create ethanol, the energy expended farming the corn plus the energy expended in its post-harvest processing, is 6 times greater than the energy it makes available to somebody's automobile." -- It really gets me that ethanol proponents cheer the use of more food supplies to make automobile fuel when there are people in the world not being able to obtain or afford the same food supplies to feed their families, while we have centuries of oil available underground that the same ethanol proponents object to tapping.

L-E "headlie": "Senate Republicans lose vote on health care law " -- The Republicans didn't lose; the Republicans brought focus to and put in the records, the DUMB&DUMBERat Senators who still don't understand the 2010 election process, and 2012 D&D Senators up for re-election in 2012 are going to get hit with the sound bite of their "NO" votes on this issue. Once again, the D&D's will be remembered as 'the party of "NO", and the Republicans will be remembered as "the party of "KNOW".

I don't understand why Anderson Cooper and CNN were surprised that they got "attacked". Does CNN think people have forgotten how they glossed over the atrocities of Saddam Hussein in order to stay on his party "A-list"?

Two things bother me about the City's Emergency Notification System: 1- It was the first time it was used since the software was bought 2 years ago, and it looked like there were 3 or 4 cubicles for workers to sit around all day watching/waiting to hit the button to start it. and 2 - Will any politician's pay to get access to it to send out campaign rhetoric?

Dell McGee had a great year! Not only did his team do well in football, but when you have 20 seniors on that team qualify in the classroom as well as athletically for scholarships, he has indeed had a championship season!
