Online story: "Former Wisconsin Sen. Russ Feingold, regarded as liberal but independent during his three terms in the Senate, says he is starting a "progressive" movement to support like-minded candidates and fight the influence of corporate money in campaigns. * "As progressives, it's time we made our voices heard," the 57-year-old lawyer said." -- Typical liberal....just doesn't know either how to listen or accept what has been said. "Progressives" had their say in 2009-10 Congressional sessions, and the people didn't like what was said, and made wholesale "Change", and "Hope" for more "Change we can believe in" for 2012.

L-E "headlie": "Col. Brown hopes to break down walls on post * Commander wants local community to visit golf course, other events at Benning By BEN WRIGHT" -- We can count on GEN. Brown to be gracious and humble and forgiving at this inexcusable error, but as soon as I saw it, I knew the writer was "Hasn't Ben Wright". It's time to update his name...how about "Doesn't Know How to Get It Wright".

While the American flag at the Nissan dealership is indeed beautiful, I do wish the dealer would do one of two things: Put a proper sized flag on the flag pole, or buy a bigger flag pole that fits the size of the flag. The flag is too big for the flag pole, thus cannot be flown properly when protocol calls for the American flag to be flown at half-mast.

A L-E "soundoff": "Our income taxes were lowered in 2009 and 2010; thank you Democrats. This year they are raised for 2011; thank you, Republicans." -- It's bad enough that DUMB&DUMBERats have no clue about what consists of a tax decrease/increase, but it's more tragic that the L-E will let them continue the trail of misinformation by printing such misinformation unchallenged. Without the November elections fresh on their minds, DUMB&DUMBERats would have been content with tax cuts initiated by "W" being allowed to 'just go away'.

L-E headline/story: "Georgia leaders support sentencing reform study * Deal cast the choice in stark financial terms: The state pays $3,800 a year to educate a child in public schools and $18,000 a year to incarcerate an inmate. " -- Will someone check what century Gov Deal got the figure concerning $3,800.00 being the cost of educating a child in school? The MCSD budget per child last year was between $9,000.00 and $9,500.00 per child. Don't get me wrong, I'm in favor of crime sentences to reduce the population we house on our tax dollars, but the simplest way to reduce that is to use the death sentence faster; that'll solve current problems as well as act as a crime deterrence for the future.

L-E headline: "CIA: If caught, Bin Laden would be sent to Gitmo " -- Surely, capturing Osama bin Laden alive is not priority 1 for our military!
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Big Bird didn’t show up on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, but Arthur the aardvark did, standing silently as Democrats argued against a Republican proposal to end funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting * “We can’t leave Arthur and all of his pals in a lurch,” said Rep. Edward Markey, D-Mass., standing next to a likeness of the popular children’s character. “We have to make sure we protect them here in Congress from the Republican attempt to completely and totally undermine the mission which public broadcasting has.” -- This just sums up the DUMB&DUMBERat concept of wasteful spending. "Save Arthur and all his pals' at the expense of the hardworking taxpayers who don't have the time to actually see "Arthur and his pals" on TV. Only those sitting about the house not working get to do this. Now, on the other hand, if "Arthur and his pals" were showing its audience how to be productive and self-sustaining, it might be a worthwhile expenditure, but that ain't gonna happen.

L-E headline: "Will CBS keep Katie Couric as news anchor? " -- Heh heh heh... Has it come down to this...that Katie Couric is a "kept woman"?
