Online headline: "White House: Basic Citizen Demands Unmet by Egypt" -- Talk about a pot trying to call a kettle black...when has potUS Imam-a looked at the November election results or listened to what the American majority is saying?

Online headline: "Fox News: Cat Survives After Being Shot 19 Times" -- Hmmm, another unreported sign of hyper-inflation...cats lives have gone up from 9 to 19.

Online headline: " U.S. Cities With the Most Credit Card Debt" -- Ooops, my bad! Was checking to make sure Synovus wasn't issuing credit cards to the mayors of Detroit, Cleveland or any California city.

The reason the "unemployment figure" dropped from 9.4% to 9.0% is because the "Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) manipulates the figures of those not employed by removing those who are too discouraged to look for jobs from those still looking. Perhaps the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) should drop the "L" from its acronym...

Online story: "NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- The U.S. Postal Service warned Wednesday that it may default on some of its financial obligations later this year after reporting yet another quarterly loss. * The USPS, a self-supporting government agency that receives no tax dollars, said it suffered a loss of $329 million in the first quarter of federal fiscal year 2011. That compared with a loss of $297 million a year earlier." -- "The USPS, a self-supporting government agency"...? Yeah, right...If UPS or FedEx losses were like the USPS, nobody would be cashing their employees' payroll checks.

There's actually a video online with a UPS executive explaining why UPS trucks never make left turns. Seems there is actually a valid logistical reason; I just thought it was because UPS drivers didn't want anyone to think they were DUMB&DUMBERat supporters (like USPS drivers).

L-E headline/story: "Columbus man found guilty but mentally ill in child sex abuse case * A man prosecutors say attacked and molested an 8-year-old girl in 2003 and whom doctors have diagnosed as schizophrenic and previously unable to stand trial was found guilty but mentally ill Wednesday on charges including aggravated child molestation. * ( Assistant District Attorney Kristy) Dugan said (Tyrone) Barnum pleaded guilty but mentally ill in 1998 to robbery. He served a five-year sentence and was released just more than a month before April 17, 2003." -- Why...why on earth..would anyone who has been allowed to plead "guilty but mentally ill" ever be released back into society?

The Bickerstaff's have been a godsend to Russell County/Phenix City, and why would anyone believe they would want to harm themselves or the goodwill they have generated over the decades. A few misinformed, short-sighted elitist have deprived PC/Russell County of a long term revenue generating, job creating business when PC/Russell County needs it desperately.

Talk about godsends...what if Kevin Jordan had opted for a college scholarship other than Wake Forest?

While Sunday sales of bulk alcohol is not something I think needs to be promoted (responsible drinkers shouldn't have a problem buying enough on Saturday for any Sunday needs), I'd almost help push this law if it contained a rider to outlaw selling cold beer, especially singles, from drive-thru windows.

Following up: If a person can make a $10,000.00 bond, but can show himself to be indigent and in need of a court appointed lawyer, why hasn't the IRS been called to investigate how the defendant can be considered indigent?
---
L-E story: "On Monday morning, Fox announced that “X Factor,” scheduled to premiere this fall, will provide the winner with a $5-million record deal with Syco, a joint venture between Sony Music and (Simon) Cowell." -- Looks like they misspelled the company name...it's more like "Psycho".
