After 148 years ago prophecies, the Wall Street Journal made it official; the" South Has Risen Again"! Economic and business growth with 'right to work laws' have led to increased migration from other states to raise the South's future political as well as economic growth.

Online story: "WASHINGTON — Sen. Robert Menendez is being investigated by a Miami federal grand jury for his role in advocating for the business interests of a wealthy donor and friend, The Washington Post reported Thursday. * A story on the newspaper's website said that as part of the probe federal agents have questioned witnesses about the interactions between Menendez, D-N.J., and Florida ophthalmologist Salomon Melgen." -- In a separate story, "Harry Reid expressed faith in Bob Menemdez"... if that doesn't confirm a problem.....

---

Online headline: "Domino's Pizza Pulls Off Big Win Against Obamacare" -- Oooops, my bad. Thought Domino's had won the right to make its own deliveries to hospitals versus normal ambulance calls.

---

Online headline: "Pope Emeritus Being Kept Out Of Sight Since Resignation" -- Now the new Pope will understand how Ronald Reagan felt with Jimmy Carter kibitzing with the mainstreet media.

---

Online story: "WASHINGTON, March 14 (Reuters) - For security reasons, the U.S. president and vice president rarely venture abroad at the same time. But events next week may compel both Barack Obama and Joe Biden to be out of the country on the same day, at least for a matter of hours." -- Hmm, an interesting scenario presents itself.. Speaker of the House Boehner becomes the head of government, and he could declare a moratorium for terrorist security and block all incoming flights into America.

---

Online headline: "NBA Admits Refs Goofed on Play That Left Kobe Bryant Injured" -- "refs goofed"? Not in my book.

Don't be roped into effervescence by the latest "1st time unemployment figures". There are just less jobs than there were last year that are filled to begin with.

On Tuesday, one of the members of Fox's "The Five" threw down a gauntlet to potUS 00-bama. He offered to write a check to cover the costs of the White House tours until the Sequester issue was resolved. The White House response was that Mr Generous could write out a donation check to the US Treasury, but, let me repeat, BUT he couldn't designate where it was to be spent. Oh, citizens can't make "earmarks" like Congressmen?

Internships.. paid internships are available even during sequestration. Some of the loudest screaming agencies-USDA HHS NOAA et al- are hiring students at up to $80,00.00 on an annual basis. So much for the Chicken Little claims.

Simon Rosenberg (founder of the New Democrat Network, an organization formerly allied with the Democratic Leadership Council, and was a candidate for the Democratic National Committee Chair in 2005.) tried to spin potUS 00-Obama's lack of social/business association with Republicans as 00-Bama trying to spend quality time with his family. He was challenged by a conservative analyst who showed a graphic showing that potUS 00-Bama having spent 600 hours playing golf versus using that to be with his family or Republican Legislators. Rosenberg sat there speechless for a few..

---

potUS 00-Bama has reached into his "magic excuses hat" and pointed his famed "finger of blame" at the Secret Service for stopping the White House tours. The Secret Service doesn't breath without orders from potUS 00-Bama.

Remember the head of GSA who authorized the $1,000,000 "conference" in Vegas who was allowed to retire with his full retirement benefits? Well, his second in command, the one whose picture had him sipping Champagne while sitting naked in a bathtub, has been reinstated with 11 months of back pay, and probably his benefits. Nag\h, 00-Bama doesn't have a spending problem... it's someone else's money so who cares.

You know, in private business, if revenues were not as expected and expenses were running high, the boss would send a memo down to all levels of decision makers to make suggestions as to where expenses could be cut, and the appropriate changes would be implemented within weeks. If not, the board would find a new CEO & Chairman.

L-E story: "Muscogee’s legal fees have more than doubled from $323,254 in 2005 to $666,028 in 2012, (Attorney Frank) Myers said, yet some teachers don’t have basic supplies for students. * “Can you muster the guts to stand up to these injustices?” he asked the board." -- As much as I agree with Myers on openness in the legal aspects of the board, $10.00 per child is not going to buy much in the way of school supplies. In his own way, Myers is generating legal expenses for the board and taxpayers in what is obviously a personal desire of his to possibly get his share of the board's legal pie.

A bar and grill I never heard of is advertising its location as being next to a bar-b-que place I've never heard of either. Effective? NOT!

---

Now that the smoke has settled, the fact that the DUMBERats gained 8 seats in the House and 2 in the Senate really wasn't that great considering the re-election of potUS 00-bama. The Republicans will be in far better shape than when they entered the mid-term elections in 2010.

---

L-E story: "A sparse crowd attended Mayor Teresa Tomlinson’s first quarterly forum of 2013, with city employees easily outnumbering the two dozen or so citizens who came to Brookstone School for the event. " -- "sparse crowd"? If people wanted to hear what she has to say, they would attend in support... obviously she has spent more time on employee issues than is issues the voters are interested in. She may want to rethink re-election plans.

Detroit just completed the government "Perfecta". Now it is fiscally bankrupt; it was morally bankrupt years ago.
