Online headline: "Hugo Chavez died of cancer earlier this month. Now, Venezuela’s acting president says he’s ‘almost certain’ he was murdered." -- Much be causing a dilemma at the White House...who to blame.... Bush43 or Boehner?

---

HuffPost headline: "Obama Continues 'Charm Offensive' " -- You know... it's like potUS 00-bama notified the left of his 'strategy' so they'd know what he doing and just 'wink' at it.

---

Online story: "In the wake of its 2012 anti-gay media firestorm, Chick-fil-A has been removed from the food court at Emory University." -- Doubt there'll be a story on it it but, under the circumstances Emory has "announced", I'm going to 'imagine' the Cathy Family Foundation will discuss Emory's future as well.

---

Follow-up from same story: "Emory University isn’t the only university that had students demand that Chick-fil-A be removed from its campus. Students of the University of Louisville similar created a petition to remove the chain, which received more than 1,000 signatures." -- "1000 signatures"? The University of Louisville has an enrollment of almost 22,000, and the school responded on a gripe of less than 5%. That's fair.... NOT!

---

Online headline/story: "Dennis Rodman in Rome to meet the pope? * He told entertainment website TMZ he's trying to arrange a sit down meeting with the next pope. * "I want to be anywhere in the world that I'm needed," he said. "I want to spread a message of peace and love throughout the world."" -- " message of peace and love"? Oh, that's the message I got as well....NOT. There are a lot of things Rodman may be spreading, but 'peace & love' seem and odd combo. Maybe the new Venezeulan President should check Rodman's travels to see if Rodman spread anything with Chavez.

From the "it's not one world" department - Online headline/story: "Pakistani Soldier Stoned To Death For Relationship With Local Girl * Residents allegedly caught the couple dating, said a local tribal elder. Leaders of various tribes met Monday and decided the soldier should be executed according to Islamic law, said the elder. * A second government official said locals took Aalam to a graveyard, tied him to the hood of a car and stoned him to death, then shot him." -- "then shot him"? Guess they had to 'dot the eye' to make it official. On then other hand, at least Pakistan has moved into the 15th Century and now stone the men as well as women.

---

Online Headline/story: "The National Institutes of Health have now dedicated $1.5 million to studying one of life’s greatest mysteries: why are lesbians fat? *
As the Daily Mail reports, studies show that three quarters of American lesbians are obese. That, of course, requires further investigation at taxpayer expense. * The project will take five years." -- For this, school children are being denied White House tours..

The DUMBERat Senate budget includes $1,000,000.00 for sending men to Mars. Hmm, there's totally no plan on the books for a government launch to the space station, much less to Mars.

Either great 'photoshopping' or Orly Taitz was/is right:

---
White smoke billowed out over the Vatican courtyard. Glad it wasn't from the Colorado State Capitol or we'd be worrying about what law they had passed or overturned.
---
Finally put my finger on it... This papal ritual is different... There's talk of scandal and politics, but not the mourning usually associated with electing a new Pope..
---
Curious... how many White House paid staffers were laid off/furloughed when potUS 00-bama stopped the White House tours?
---
potUS 00-Bama really is revealing his biases and agenda. He shut off access for bus loads of school children to get into the white House, but if you make a make a $500K tax deductible donation to his agenda, you get to eat & meet with him. How come paying $500K in taxes doesn't get you an invitation...
---
312,000 federal employees are delinquent in their taxes. That's a shade more than .001% of all federal employees. Looks like a great place to start eliminating government jobs.
---
Three dangerous prisoners escaped from a rather new Missouri prison. They been caught but architectural anomalies that shouldn't have used in building the prison aided the escapees. That's our tax dollars being abused for personal profit. Guess the builder built himself an out if he got caught.
---
The Senate DUMBERat's budget is out. Their budget does not aim at a balanced budget... ever, includes 975 BILLION in new taxes, and cuts 257 MILLION from Medicare doctor payments (read hidden tax and fewer doctors taking Senior patients). Bottom line is that the DUMBERats do not want to make a budget that defines spending limits.

Not to be overly confusing, but how can the Historic Columbus Foundation dedicate part of Lakebottom/Weracoba Park as "Wildwood Park"? Wildwood Park already exists between Wildwood & Forest Avenues along 17th St.
---
Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "Department of Energy estimates that converting the U.S. from incandescent to light-emitting diodes would save energy costs of $30 billion and reduce energy for lighting by one-third — equal to 44 power plants. " -- But at what other costs? Have you seen the cost of these lights? Construction thieves wouldn't even bother with appliances anymore, there'd be a gold mine in light bulbs alone! I have a couple installed in security areas of my home, but i cannot stand them inside for lighting areas I live in.
---
Curiosity makes me ask this: Why is Publix running full page institutional ads in the Columbus L-E promoting a food sharing program in Atlanta?
